Many of us travel in this lifetime of the "sixth gear mode" taking life as it come.That is easy to do. However with all that is to have, and to take,- comes all the " not so nice stuff' -too. and unfortunately we end up swallowing it all up. One big kaboodle of joyful mess.

This is ware it is important to be definite in your mind, body and spirit. Sometimes making the right choices can be hard. since it is like seeing yourself in the mirror and making a self assessment. that sometimes is too hard to do. however inviting a friend or your counselor to give you an outside perspective will always help.

The important factor is recognizing these great pivotal points in your life and making the " best choice" you can make at the time. Sometimes our options are few or great . but there is Always the choice. and the POWER to choose.

yes it is easy for me to say " chose wisely" when there can be hard choices. Specially when you are dealing with those that are close to your heart. Sometimes we don't want to hurt them and end up hurting ourselves. Be careful . Think wisely. kindness and compassion is important. Starting from you.

I always believe that wisdom comes from inner understanding and contemplation. In times that I have been involved in making hard choices I have sat down and prayed, asked for guidance from God and from my own divine guided angels. yes you could say I am a lucky one, that I do have my own counsel. But so do you. All of us should have our own mentors and our heavenly father. If you like to call him the supreme being. then do so.What ever makes you comfy.....

Wisdom is like a mustard seed that sits PLONK in the middle of this waste mass called the brain. It crepes through the crevices and dances in front of our eye's. Don't shut your eyes to it. It can come tickle your skin. Don't ignore it. It comes with the nagging feeling of . I should turn right when my feet are turning left. Stop . Listen . change course. and if you still made a " not so good judgment" remember this.

As long as you are in the body you can perform great works. and till your task on this earth is done you will have another day for a better course. Time is never lost. Just make the best of your life now. and make it mindfully . with love for others and for yourself. God Bless you and keep you safe.

The Virtual Relationship

Love Stands by the door
Sending Shivers down my spine,

Time’s have changed, bringing love to us through telephone lines and computer screens. Dating sites flash wonderful welcoming pictures at us all the time. Life is good. Love is good.

There are many that have found ” true love” through many of these wonderful places. however there are others that seem to be struggling with these ” virtual ” love affairs. Even though this form of connection may appear to be distant and disconnected there are many who have made a heart felt commitment to some wonderful man that has swept the off their feet. Experiences connected to a screen of a computer. The feelings that develop through these intimate conversations are as real as those who are in the same room. Even though one could say that the fantasy lives on, it is indeed a very real sort of fantasy to some, and not to be taken lightly.

This is all well and good, today we are indeed blessed with more opportunities of meeting ” the one” However it is important to bring this love to light, bring it to the open, bring it to reality. Some times we don’t really want that . for the ” fantasy somehow has a better feeling of love, than actually going through the motions of meeting the man or women and then having to learn who they really truly are. Often enough many people come with baggage and you end up having to share the load.Not fun at all. Incomes the Load and out goes the Joy !!!!

So we are left with the Good and the “not so good” aspect of these vibrant ” loves” It is always better at a early stage to encourage them to meet you. That way, even though the fantasy dies and reality begins, your heart has time to decide if this is what you would like to explore.

Now let me not burst the bubble for those who enjoy Cyber-Talk. If this is indeed an enjoyment factor, please continue !!! However, remember to be responsible to your heart. If it is the thrill and the joy you are seeking, then go for it.If it is the love and the companionship that you are looking for then, take that cyber love,and make it real. Go meet the man. Go meet the women. Take it to the next level. There is nothing sweeter than finally saying hello.

Try not to have GREAT expectancies, but be open to learn and share what truly is real. there is a lotta love out there and there is one just for each of us. So there is nothing wrong in seeking, finding, Loving and resting. My wish for all of you, is to seek that better love that lies within all of us.

How do you deal with Sharing your Man !!!

Love does not define boundaries. It speaks to us through many many situations. It is not an easy thing to be in love with a man, Let alone sharing him with another. Life is complicated as it is and to handle all that takes a lot of wisdom and some courage.

Some of us have been placed in this rather compromising position. Some of us are going through a hard time wondering when you will hear from your love again. yes i have counseled many during these hard times.

Most of those i have spoken to have had great spiritual connections with their partners. he could be a past life connection and you feel your heart connecting with him almost immediately . and before you know it you are involved.!!! This is sometimes the case.

The past life connection is a hard one to let go. You may have tried, and woken up feeling lost and depressed. I understand. The important fact is that you work through it at the time.

To most people being in love is a wonderful intense experience. and it should be. Most of my clients who ask me this question. The important fact is to understand where your man or women is coming from. Look at his background . Once you have understood the circumstances then we can look at the emotional aspects of the relationship.

Most of the time people have a great sense of duty that surrounds them. if you are a mother or a father the duty as a parent can over come the desire to be with a lover. So sometimes you end up feeling left out.
It is hard dealing with these times but it is also important to understand the kind of connection that you have with your lover. Him being unavailable does not mean that he does not care.

Most of the time people push aside the feelings of love, because it cam take up a lot of their energy and leaves them feeling a little impractical. Specially when situations demands one to- " just get things done".

It is better at the time to focus on positive thoughts and remember the good times. Even though life may not seem very fair to you at the time, getting grouchy about it will only add to the energy separation and spiritual distancing. .

Now I don't mean you need to go out and party!! No, it is better to find another area that you feel happy being in or doing some thing that brings you joy. Don't make your feelings the central focus of your life. If you do you are in for a lonely ride sometimes.

Remember that sense of duty, and time to love, is most often kept separate and so you have to stop hurting your mind over the fact that he has not called you in a few days.
It is not for me to tell you how to live your life. but we own the most important spiritual gift. Making good choices. So if you do care very deeply for your lover at this time. Look at it for what it is. believe in your own feeling and make good choices for your future.
you will know if he loves you, You will feel it when you are with him. take those times to be special and understand them for what they are. In other words. " call a spade a spade " Life is about working the path. We have all wanted to walk the path of life and so how we do it becomes our own choice.

Walk it well. Protect your choices and understand that love is sometimes sacrificed for duty. It is better to live your life well and let this relationship be an enriching factor to your life. Placing it in the center of your being may not be the best thing to do, If he is still involved with another. Even though LOVE is very essential, your investment in love also needs to give you some returns.

The best way to do this is to give yourself a timeframe towards your relationship. Or else you may be find yourself constantly being " the other " women. Now if this is OK with you then so be it. Life and love is precious. Don't waste it...

Be mindful of how important your daily life is. Imagine it filled with love, and set your goals to achieve it. Time spent can never be regained. So spend it will, wisely, effectively and with purpose. May the Love of the universe be with you now and always.

There are many today, that will say that man has developed greatly. What with all the new technology and the buzz of the media. It has indeed become a smaller place to live in that is for sure!

Recently I was in a conversation regarding man's evolution and how we have advanced through the ages. Particularly during the last hundred years. Could it be that we would create life through all this nano sciences and development of the gene ??? A part of the discussion rode on the fact that computers and the new evolving robotics would some how one day over take humanity and maybe even destroy us with their clear thought and logical wisdom. The fear of our own destruction was not far away in the discussion.....

It is very apparent, that in new ways of thought that we are indeed somewhat all knowing. How ever the more I dwell on it the more it dawns on me that man is only getting "fat " in knowledge and not " Tall' . what we are doing is sticking to physical realities, much of these advancements are connected to the physical world.

However if we look at the universe and many other galaxies, ever circling this earth, I end up feeling rather small after all.( But not in a bad way) Suspended in this space of time it does seem endless and our rather egoistic tome that we could even try to overtake the mighty creator or even begin to comprehend the waste essence of space and time.

I then realized that as we seek to find new truths that surround us to day it is very important to gain inner wisdom of the spirit.the best way to be is to have it go hand in hand. One without the other somehow does not seem to suffice.

True growth for me comes from one on the greatest sayings made by Socrates" I know that I do not know" This sets our minds free to explore the many possibilities of the spirit,as well as the body.

Even though man has created, and will continue to do so in the future there is one element that cannot be fulfilled. the breathing of the soul into the body. That belongs to each of us, stemmed by our own desire to be re-born and Gods grace in allowing it so. Let us never become so full of fatness that we forget this amazing occurrence the giving of true life and the reason for it.

the body is born to do great works, kind works productive works. Let us not forget our purpose and truly look within as well as without to grow in strength and inner wisdom. Growing tall comes with it all. For the Spirit of life will always hover the oceans never to be caught only to be felt and given. I am thankful for this life time may God in his mercy grant me the wisdom to handle my life well. In accordance to his will, and never to get too fat in my own greatness. Amen.

Sometimes

Sometimes When I am alone,
I dream of true love, at home,
Sitting by an open Hearth,
With a simple song, a playing
and beside me a little kitty laying.
How beautiful the sound of rain
Pitter patter on the pane,
Giving life to nature once again.
Touching your world and mine,
Enriching our weary souls. Sometimes.
Sometimes when I am alone,
I watch the sunset glide,
Across the distant sky,
Brimming with fire,
Dancing, Prancing,
Giving home to what’s come and gone,
Fading into dusk, and dancing into dawn,
Always and not just Sometimes.
It is then I think of you,
With memories so tender and true,

Being Mindful of the - "MOOD"

Life has Endless Possibilities just Realize it ….

It is easier to smile than to cry, it hurts less,
Heaven knows why,
For it I had the gift to give a laugh,
I would.
Just to add a little shine,
To someone i never knew,
Someplace, Somewhere………

There is nothing more influential in our lives than the surroundings we keep. and the company we keep. It is often that I have begun my day in a good way and ended up having to get off line because some “sour puss” has just made me feel down right awful. Of course this could be vise versa and I could have just about given someone a head ache. with no aspirins to follow. Cruelty at that time was a sweet word!!!!

Yes we have those days. Specially with those we are close to.May it be our lover’s or our friends. Experiences and surroundings do have a strong bearing on our daily life.

I have read for many clients who have the most awful bosses. and it’s funny that all they are trying to do is to be authoritative and commanding, trying to get things done, little realizing that it is important for them to exude a little kindness and a little joy. I somehow enjoy being around people that respect me and it is so easy to return that same sentiment, Don’t you agree?.I guess they were never taught that respect for each other is earned and not given. If it is not given it is not true respect, but simply a sense of duty. and there is a whole lot of deference in that….. and that’s another story for another day….

Anyway before I go rambling on some wayward road…. the point i was trying to make is that we must consciously try to speak to ourselves from within. not from without. to gently learn to hold on to a positive note as we wake in the morning and continue to sing it during the day.

Often tapping into our inner being is a hard thing to do when around us all hell is breaking loose. That is why it is important to write down your thought and carry it with you. A reminder always helps. We need to love ourselves enough to be nice to our minds. Angry thoughts are like thorns just rattling in your hand. how painful is that !!!!!??? Yikes.

The sooner we let it go of dis-function and focus on something productive and peaceful then the energy of your mind also takes on the same tone. “Remember the essence of the mind transcends to the body”
So today let us be consciously mindful of the within and pick up the right mood, making a conscious choice to be mindful of the “Mood” may a “Merry Mood” be with you now and always.

Striving for a " BETTER LOVE"

RESTLESS

So I awake on a Cloudy night,
Alone, yet not alone,
Drifting it seems, To places I have gone and I have been.
Sometimes in my head, and sometimes in my soul.
But always with you, never alone.
Now.... i am forlorn- for you have gone.

Without a single word, or a heartfelt goodbye.
I bash my head, while I lie in bed.
Wondering... wondering why.
For I simply don't know WHY !!!!!!

No one to hear me cry...
What do they care !.. any way if i simply die.
they are all happy, toodling along with their merry life.
While deep alone in my soul. I am alone, and I know why.

For you have gone.

As then the Sun did dawn,
I will rise from my own cloudy storm,
and in the rays of another day I will seek to find.
Some hope to get by,
I will, I will,
I must : For within me the Love

WILL NEVER DIE.
And you can never hurt me with your stupid little lie.

Dear Friends,

This poem was influenced by some of the grief that I have shared with my own clients. and some that I have carried within at a younger age. It is tough to tell someone that his or her love has gone away and they must move on. I say it with love. and compassion. For I understand their pain.

However it is important to understand the experiencing of " The Feelings of Love" - as being what drives our spirit to wonderment and inner awareness that is beyond human understanding. Even when a lover is gone- the feelings derived from the memory and the true wonderment of it all will still remain.
One could look at this with pain or with a outlook of experience. So sometimes we must recognize that it is NOT the PERSON that we need to embrace, but the true experience of that particular union. In most cases this will take a little time . For Time softens the pain and helps us to feel- from a distance. Almost as if we were viewing our own experiences from anther's view point. At any event it gives it a new perspective on things.

The most important thing is to be able to let go. Or else we will continue to spiral in the same place churning up our own pain. Love should NOT be hurtful. If it is continuously so then there is something a miss. If love breaks us apart from within then maybe it is time to let go. None of us want to hear that. But if you have your hands full of hurt then how can you embrace true love? that can surely pass you by. Think about that....

Lost Love should never be regretted. Remember, it is we who own the feelings of Love. We have earned that great experience. So for that we must be thankful. For it is said that the most growing experience is for those who are not afraid to love. and to love unconditionally. Remember again . To embrace the experience. This will help us to be wiser, and not look at life with pain and bitterness.

Sure, we may be sad about what we have lost and we may desire to have more of it. But if you were to say. " yes I want that love, but I want a better love" sometimes we have to be selfish. See what you are willing to offer to your lover. and see if what he or she has to offer to you is the same. Sometimes this is hard when you are already emotionally involved. That is why it is always better to get to know where the other person is. use a little bit of rationality. It will never go wrong.

Life is in essence a great experience of the soul. All things pass away but the spirit lives through it all. So embrace the love that you have had. release the pain, and in that you will find a better love. Again.

The Summer Of Love

Receiving You Gifts

Not all of us are alike, but in the deference lies the beauty of your own greatness.

Dear Friends and Clients,

Sometimes life can be tough. Dealing with others who are not like us in many ways. Working in a stuffy office, or listing to a boss who is really not coming from a spiritual or deeper understanding of the whole.
Or dealing with a co- worker who does not seem to value you or who likes to take over.
We ask ourselves why? Why have we to go through this ?

It all lies in the choices that we have made, these are presented to you by the great creator and the universe. It is up to you and me to take it or leave it.

In most cases we have chosen a path because there was something it gave back to you. This could be spiritual, emotional or materiel . Most of all it helped in some some way to find a sense of fulfillment. Remember now even though the time is tough, to look for your own gifts that you are bringing to the table and to simply accept the others who are around you.

When you begin to enjoy you then it is easier to be at peace. Remember you cannot change the others path but only your own. So make your path happy to day. Remember we are all given various gifts, you may not agree with another but respect them, and if you cannot work with them then gracefully step away, use your energy on something that will bring you joy.

Even though sometimes you are paid to just follow ( may be even a fool ) look at what you have to offer in terms of your gift and harness that. Focus on that.

We cannot always work with those we know. But sometimes we don't have the luxury to choose. Then take it as work; for your reward is your pay, and even then find your own gift that you can improve and it will be better.

When we find the gift . It is then that we receive more of it.
Sometimes your gift may not be clear to you. But keep looking and keep searching and you will find it, and you will then receive your fulfillment.

Remember all gifts may not be of mind and creativity and spirit. You could just be the kindest heart that just brings peace and that my dear friends is one of the greatest gifts of all.

For God reaches us in a still small voice in the middle of that great storm. Are we a little message from heaven. If nothing else that is a wonderful thing to be. May the blessings of the universe be with you now and always.

Creating your Calm amids Your Storm !!1

During my sessions of spiritual counsel I have been coming in contact with many individuals that are affected by the current economy. Some have lost their jobs; others are scrambling to keep their home. Financial disarray seems to bite at the core of their families and break the very backbone of their existence. These are tough times my friends, times that have crept up on us through the foolish action of a bunch of greedy people. So we are all swimming in the whirl pool of uncertainty, hoping for that miracle to happen. I do feel that some hope is on its way. Hailed in by the new administration, headed by an intelligent, kind and even funny man with rather large ears and a beautiful smile.

That was the one thing that struck me about Obama. He smiled not only with his face but also them large ear’s. They sort of twitched back and forth when he reached out and touched a hand (I am only kidding). There was sincerity in his touch and a wanting in his way to bring about kindness, healing, and peace. It was good to see the faces of people, all sorts of them, black, brown, yellow white…. Smile when he passed by. He gave a message of hope. And if he did, so can we!!!! I pray that he remains committed and humble to the mighty task ahead of him. Let our good prayers be with him during this time. His message was simple and consistent. Let us to learn one aspect of success. Being simple and consistent through it all.

It is hard to pick up the pieces of our hearts and homes and keep moving on, but my friends we are forced to. It may be your bad judgment or the ill work of another, but the cycles of life takes us to new beginnings and new ways. If we look at these ways as entering a new dimension we will learn to focus on the emotion that you want to have

And not on the ill luck that has befallen you.

Many of us believe that fate and luck have a great deal to do with our lives, that we don’t have much direction. It has to be all given to us. This is not true. Why is it that there are men and women that have risen from ashes and shine to day like stars in the sky?

Even in the darkest of night, their light glows with ceaseless beauty. It is simply because of the choices they made and the vision they had before them. I do believe that God’s ever helping hand was their for guidance everyday. But remember God cannot help you if all you are doing is being angry and mad and bitter inside. It is like taking the color black and adding colors to it. It will unfortunately remain black. However if you take the color white (signifying purity and good thoughts) you can add various colors and hues and you will end up with a glorious rainbow. What a contrast. What a joy!

A practical TIP

Focus on the Job that you want to have, and not the lack of it. Injustice happens to all of us; sometimes for 3 to 4 minutes or even for several hours. But brothers and sisters we get so angry that for the next decade of our lives we hoed the vengeance; we brood about it in our minds, and carry that injustice on our shoulder. You may argue with me and say “Well Dilani’ they did me wrong and so why should I put up with it? Why should I smile? When I am mad as hell!!!!!”
Well my dear take the look at the person that harmed you. Do you see that person loosing sleep over it? Do you see them suffering for their actions? Well God in his mercy may teach them a lesson but it may be late in coming, and in the mean time you have gone to heaven and hell in your mind: so many times that now you got high blood pressure, low blood pressure, back ache, head ache ….. All the aches under the sun. Then comes the depression. I call it the -GOOD GRIEF!!!!!! (There is fun in that pun) The black doom. Dragging on your poor feet. Not wanting you to get up from the bed. Telling you the world has treated you wrong and you ain't going to deal with it no more. Then the doctor, then the pills, now you have some sort of disorder……. On and on and on. All you have to do is look out of that window, and you will see the man that did you wrong drive away in his Cadillac with not a care in the world. Well my dear it is you that is hurting. Not he. So get over it. Give it up. Rise above it. Take the Power of God and Light to your side and let the mighty one avenge your cause.

A good way to get out of the doldrums is to pick up thoughts and actions that make you happy. Learn to use some of these like chocolates on a hot summer day. Just savor the feelings that you had when you were enjoying you. Relive the feeling and think of ways to recreate them. It is not that hard. Remember you own your feelings. Not any one else. So are you going to be mad and sad, or happy and glad? May be you don’t have much to be happy about. But then you will live out your day with mediocre emotions. And what comes into your path will be just so so. Is that what you want for you? Or are you going to place a smile on your heart and a song in your soul and shake that hand of your brother and sister. Give and little love and take a little love…… think about it. For the rest is up to you ……

SHAKE it BABY

Shake it up and Shake it down People….

So a new era is born with new ideals and new thoughts and new ways. Even the universe seems to be following the trend. As some of you astrological wiz bugs would know we are in a “Mercury Retrograde”. ( Shhhhh mums the word !!!!!)
It is a shake up and shake down time. There are some delays in communication. Phones busting, people just a little bit whacky, and instruments having a mind of their own.

My printer this morning for some reason would not be a friend. It refused to print those pages; my chosen documents came out with just cool pictures and nothing else. Heaven’s forbid. In normal circumstance I would have had a fit, ahhhh but I handled it will. I went out, had a cup of tea, came back, spoke to it , and whoo hoo it obeyed. So take time to breath and try again. Don’t give up. For victory is only a breath away.
Don’t let the gloom of dismal reporters break your spirit. Remember the power of God lies in the faith and the joy of his people. So let us today give thanks and go for it again.

It is a law of the universe that all things need to be shaken up and shaken down. People, the old trends are passing and new trends are forming. Old faces we see on the political arena are fading in to distant memories, and new ones will form in great deliberation. It is needed. Like the storms that break the sky. After the claps of thunder, the earth is re-born.

It is Fresh , it is New it is bathed in the morning Dew.

et us wrap up the old stuff, people! The retrograde is a good time for that. It is a time to close old chapters. Deal with what deeds to be done, and move on and up to a better tomorrow. Let us all take this time to evaluate ourselves, look at our situations. Don’t hide your bank balance, look at it and envision it three times better. Let us face this world now with peace and prosperity and love.

Shake it up and shake it down you people !!!!!! Let the world know who you are, Shout it out to the nation’s . Let it ring near and far.

What ever did not work for you, throw it out , Embrace what is, Embrace the new, Embrace the You.

For the time is NOW.

At the close of this year. It is important to look at our past miles stones, the development of inner wisdom in relation
to our practical experience. It is time to ask the question " Have we learned Well?"
I find this time to be very productive and exciting, it is time to go shopping again. ( I say ;-) )I know what your thinking now. She's gonna spend a bunch ........ Nope I am shopping for new outfits of thought, to embrace
new forms of behavior, to increase my understanding of this beautiful creation. As I for the new year.

Sometimes we have been distanced by friends, Lovers, family..... Sometimes even in the mids of a crowed a little loneliness can creep in. That is all a part of the great wonder of emotion, of growth. So let us reflect on the past ( as I am sure you are too ) and make to day a GREAT shopping day as we adorn our spirit anew. So lets go to them high end stores and pick up some cool sexy new stuff ( of thought please - don't get bankrupt )

To those lonely hearts that dwell in silence

This is especially for those who were alone on the holiday. Thanksgiving-

You may be alone because you desired to be, you were a lone because someone in your life had hurt you and you needed the space to think and to cry. Or you were alone because your special person was not there to share this moment with you….. what ever the reason for those whose smile had left your face: for a brief moment there was deep contemplation.

Grief or sadness is generally a reflective emotion. It is caused by a feeling of loss, followed by pain. It can leave us feeling and looking like little rag dolls, hiding away in our little closets. Remember my friend, if you have been left behind by another or hurt by another it is normal to experience this.

However it is important to turn and look at yourself in the looking glass.

How do you look this morning? How do you feel? Do your eyes hold pools of tears?
Has your face lost its cheery smile?

Now you may feel that it is not possible for you to go there. However, it is important to remember that the power to love and to be love does not come from the outside of you but from within you. Hurt or pain brings to mind how much we have cared and so it is a positive factor in our own sensuality, to feel. However reliving it over and over is not the right thing to do. It can strip you of your beauty and then take away your power to be loved and adored.

Remember, the person on the out side will see what you reflect. Ask your self this question…….????
If you were out there would you reach out to you, and love you?

Or would you run a mile ……!

People attract others when they have joy in their soul. And it comes primarily from a place of peace and well being. Joy, attracts and draws the light.

If you were to be with some one this moment, how would you like that person to be?
Think of their manner, their face, their smile……That which makes your heart skip……
Remember that!!!!!
well embrace that within your soul and reflect that, so that when your lover does see you or hear you he would

Love YOU......... be in YOUR presence.

It is easier to connect with those who have peace and joy within them. Turmoil pushes energies away. It keeps people apart. That what you are trying not to create, is created.

Beauty attracts beauty, and evolves towards the higher goal.. Let us all reach that higher place. Let us all find our joy. Let us all become stronger and wiser today. To be beautiful for you, that is important. Do not loose that. Remember to look in the looking glass. Create a reflection you would love to live with, and he or she will come to your life sooner than you think.
