Cold And Silent
In a room
cold and silent,no flowers or tears.
Clinging to life, frozen in fear.
Not
of the dieing or dieing alone.
But fear of the Devil, made my blood run
cold.
My life passed before me,
though I tried not to see,the pain I had
caused,
in a lifetime of grief.
For all that had trusted,I had surely
deceived.
In a life lived for lust, power and greed.
In a room cold and
silent,
with no flowers or tears,
I realized the sum of my fear.
As the
Devil reached for me,
I felt the flames,
then I heard sweet Jesus whisper
my name.
I opened my eyes, for once I could see,
what a fool I had been,
now I was free.
In a room full of laughter, family and friends,
feeling a
love,that never ends.
I opened my eyes.thank God I can see,
what a fool I
had been, now I was free.
