Many might think me crazy - so be it. I used to be an Energy analyst and I was dam sharp. What's going on in the GOM is legions more desturbing than people are being told.

Perhaps you think me crazy but I am asking every one I know to ask every one they know.... to ask the questions: WHAT IS ABIOTIC Fuel and why is this well 30,000 feetl If they have hit a poket of abiotic fule in the mantel that this is a MONSTER FIELD that is probably gushing way more fuel a day than has been reported - - SIGNIFICANTLY MORE.
We need INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION NOT LAWSUITS!!!! We need minds working together for solutions for thre is NO RULE BOOK for "caping" a 30,000 well - especially as it lies 5,000 feet below water. This well will not be capped in June - nor august - nor Septemebr.
2 or 3 relief wells WILL NOT work - need 20-30 relief well. And don't even talk about "nuking" this well!
Lawsuits are devisive - we need to COME TOGETHER................ Please ask every reporter you know, ask every energy person you know...to ASK THESE QUESTIONS.....
If Obama can't take a lead to bring a COHESIVE effort together to help mitigate the loss here - than maybe we can as a grass roots effort. The GOM is literally going to die..... not to mention 100's of thousands of jobs and health risks. Just say - I've got this cooky friend and she's VERY upset - but she's smart so I've got to ask... Some people will pooh pooh this - don't let it deter you.
The pressure at the well head is not 100 psi, not 1000 psi, probably more like 70,000 psi.
We're not talking 10,000 barrrels a day we're talking more like2 million barrels per day.

All my clients always ask "but WHEN???" The answer is always - EVERYTHING IN ITS "SPIRITUAL" TIME. We humans so often just can not understand time for time in a physics sense does not exsist. So its EXTREMELY FOREIGH for humans to accept the concept of spiritual timing much less to understand it.
But spiritual time DOES exsist and all we need to trust and to know and accept is that everything happens when it is meant to - all is in devine order. This may sound so pat, so simply but the simple truth it is.
As an excerise; try going through the whole day today and say "I'm OK in this moment, I'm going to stay in this moment, I don't need to know WHEN for I KNOW it will happen when its best for me to happen." Try that each time you start to angst about "when" something will happen. Do that for today. Then tomorrow do the same.
Then try several days of each day saying to yourself, "It will happen when it is best for me to happen and I can trust that. And then see if you can do it for a whole week.... and just notice how your attitude changes for the better.
In this New Year of 2010 ~ expect the best and when things do not happen as you think they should ~ look for how that MIGHT BE BETTER than your plan! I'll be on-line most of today if you want to take a peek at what 2010 might have instore for you.
You can not fight every drop of rain. So stop trying. Let go, just stand in it and let it fall upon you. Let go of the years of pain. Let the drops fall and TRUST that perhaps it’s nurturing you and helping you to grow. Let the drops do their thing, succumb to the wet, find the peace in the rain.

I am sure folks received various beauty and bath items as Christmas presents...well if you received a nice Body Scrub let's put that gift to great use and CLEANSE YOUR CHAKRAS! In the shower or in the bath use a lightly exfoliating body scrub to cleanse your chakras.
Start with the Base Chakra and use some of your grainy exfoliating scrub and while making small COUNTER-CLOCKWISE motions encircle the Base Chakra ~ located at the tip of your tail bone. A light and gentle touch is all you need; you don't want to use hard pressure. As you encircle the area in a counter-clockwise motion verbally release all your fears, insecurities, and concerns. Then move up the Sacral Chakra ~ about an inch below your belly button ~ and in gentle counter-clockwise motion release and cleanse the charka of any quilt over your emotions and hyper-sensitivity. Moving to the Solar Plexus, the 3rd chakra ~ right at the base of your rib cage ~ and release all feelings of frustration and feeling out of control.
The 4th chakra is the Heart Chakra ~ gently rotate in a counter-clockwise direction right on your heart ~ and release all doubts and unwarranted suspicion of others. Moving to the 5th chakra ~ the Throat Chakra ~ release feelings of being misunderstood and all that keeps you from speaking and singing in joy. The 6th chakra is your Third Eye ~ remove all headaches and confusing thoughts. The Crown Chakra ~ on top of your head ~ is the last and as you rotating in a counter-clockwise motion release feeling of separateness and aloneness.
Now your Chakras have been cleansed and you might feel them vibrating and you might feel a bit vulnerable. So now we begin again at the Root Chakra to add some nutrients for your chakras.
Start again with the Root Chakra but this time, using your exfoliated body scrub, make small CLOCK-WISE circles and state that you are now adding FERLESSNESS. State that YOU ARE SECURE.
At the Sacral chakra state that you are opening yourself to your own CREATIVE EXPRESSION. State that YOU ARE ENTHUSIASTIC.
At the Solar Plexus state that you are opening up to OWNING your PERSOANL POWER. State that YOU ARE CONFIDENT.

These are such emotional days. All I can say is to try and keep calm and grounded and just look to get by this day don't look beyond this day, just focus on today. Do this each and everyday for awhile. Before you now it these times will have passed and you'll have a great sense of where you need to go and how.
Forgiveness can sometimes be a hard thing to do but try, forgive yourself. Try to look back 8 years ago and then again 18 years ago and remember your life and what was going on for you. There are seeds from those times which have brought you to where you are today.
See if you've not been critical of yourself for decisions made or for things done/ or not done. Forgive yourself and know its all part of life. We must forgive ourselves in order to heal what ails us. We must forgive ourselves for to do anything but would be a huge waste.
And then embrace yourself and open yourself to the beauty that lies within.
While we often forget this, lose sight of it, or have never even thought in these terms, none-the-less: Life is truly a gorgeous celebratory event that we are co-creating. Life is one huge beautiful endeavor that we are in the very midst of creating.
Don't lose sight of the goals and dreams you’re harboring inside of you. Focus on that which you want to give “birth” to and let your mind see the harvest. In time these current days of uncertainty will be a distant memory.
On July 31st I posted a simple meditation technique that can offer quick and powerful results during times of great stress. You can do it anywhere; on the subway, at your desk, while on a hectic city street – that is if you can pull over the side so no one bumps into you as you close your eyes for a moment. ;o) I reprint the meditation below for those who missed it the first time around…. Remember there is another eclipse coming on the full moon.
Anyway, low and behold it came in handy for yours truly the night after the eclipse. The eclipse was such a powerful one and it threw a friend of mine completely off balance. Being empathic and very connected to this person I absorbed all the energy like a sponge and it woke me up at 2am. I felt stressed and anxious and had no thoughts what’s so ever to explain the visceral reaction I was having.
I could have created much stress for myself if I believed it was "my stuff". My powerful mind could have search for a reason to validate the experience and I suppose conjure up all sorts of things to worry about and rob me of my much needed sleep.
But instead I decided to just get balanced first and then look at things and try to figure it out. So as I lay in bed I did this simply meditation. It only took a few minutes for me to feel an inner calm. When I was able to calm myself I realized my friend was in angst and I was able to then send them some loving and supportive energy, roll over, and go back to sleep.
When I did I had a wonderful dreaming showing me the GOOD that was actually going to come out of this person's current situation: even though he was not wanting to be where he was, doing what he was doing, I could see not only the success he was going to have on this particular project but I saw the connections he was making were going to come back and bear a great deal of fruit in the future both financially and personally.
It is wonderful what we can discover if we will ourselves to dig deep and reach high.
MEDITATION: Let your focus run down the roots deep into the earth increasing your awareness that your soul runs deep and that you are very connected to the earth and her plan. See how you are supported by all the earth that surrounds your roots. You are nourished by all the food found in the soil and that the cool dark earth feels ever so comforting to you.
The focus your attention to your braches and your leaves as they extend and reach upward toward the clouds soaking up as much light and inspiration as you need in this moment. Imagine yourself as the mighty tree that you are, perhaps a 200 year old oak.
Do this for a few minutes. You will you feel grounded and expanded at the same time. You are now perfectly ready and able to deal with the issue(s) that you need to address today. KNOW that you WILL address these issues with deep confidence and a deep sense of knowing who you are and where you are going.
Dream Power ~ Remember we become what we dream so dream well.

I'm going to write about the above today but 1st let me briefly talk about chaos as in Chaos Theory. The belief behind this is not that everything is random and chaotic and our rational minds try desperately to look for reasons and order. It is that all IS IN PERFECT ORDER but the fears inside of us only focus on a minute in time, a point in time, and the fears create stress to varying degrees that EVERYTHING must then be random and chaotic almost an unspoken quest to validate our fears. It is almost as if the dark side, the fears, is actually fighting a war with our spirit to win control as the fears are desperate to remain alive and the only why to stay alive is by killing off ones connection to source.
How about starting today we each make a pack not to build our perspectives up in order to validate fears (be this a conscious OR subconscious dynamic). How about we all make a pack to ONLY REINFORCE THE POSITIVES in our outlook? Sound good? That takes self-confidence, will power, and self-control. But where can we get that deep seated self-confidence we need to accomplish this goal? May I suggest it all lies within your grasp? May I suggest it resides in the core of your being? May I suggest it IS THE CORE OF YOUR BEING?
Back to Chaos Theory; as a pre-med student who was also a natural born artist I was forever drawn to life under the microscope, to the forms I saw, to the patterns I noticed, being aware that the lens had to be properly focused to see the exactness of the structures under my gaze. It didn't take long to realize of paramount importance it is to have the lens properly focused for when so focused the randomness suddenly became patterned. This is the essence of Chaos Theory. If you look at minute life forms such as crystals, such as fractals, under a powerful electronic microscope you will notice that once in focus a random chaotic edge of the life form becomes a beautiful and intricate and yet perfectly ordered and pattern design. If you take one segment of the view and zoom into the segment it looks random again until you increase the magnification of the lens. Once zooming in with a more advance lens of higher magnifying properties you will suddenly find that once more the random edges of the fractal, when viewed with the proper focus, is actually an edge of beautiful and intricate pattern all in perfect order. Keep zooming into larger and larger magnifications and this discovery repeats itself over and over.
My point is that everything feels chaotic and random and thus very scary ONLY BECAUSE IN OUR FEAR, IN OUR LACK OF SPIRITUAL CONSCIOUSNEES, we forget to properly adjust our lenses and we lose sight of the big picture or our lens is out of focus so we don't properly view the big picture.
The significance of this little observation is monumental in ramifications. It is huge. May I suggest we ALL know perfectly well what our life's path looks like much less know its personal significance for us? May I suggest we need not consciously know what our “souls’ purpose” is in order to live it out? May I suggest we all ought to live our life with a bit more peace of mind and emotional security?
Have you ever known, ever seen how beautiful and attractive self-confidence was. A person can have so looks or manner of dress but when they walk into a room with that glow of self-confidence in their own spirit and they look so beautiful that they are "god like". Well, to a great degree they are. The "god force" lies within each of us and the more a person taps into their knowingness, the god in them, their spirit, the more comfortable they are with themselves and with their relationship to this planet and the purpose for being here. They don't have to be conscious of the life's purpose as much as they may be simply conscious of their purpose in the moment with a strong sense that they are indeed "going somewhere" and they HAVE a purpose. These are people who have a deep passion for their "work" and for their love ones and for animals and typically have the funniest child-LIKE humor. They certainly are NOT childish for they have a purpose and when there is a purpose this is no need, no time for childish behavior or dramas. These people are very attractive for they are self-confident. They are self-confident for they are open and connected to their WHOLE self; they are connected to the internal light of their being. It is this light that shines bright, which projects outwardly, that fills a room with awe. It is this light and this peaceful continence that draws you in.
Now you might ask; "how do I get some of that good stuff for myself?" May I suggest you don't have to work at it? May I suggest that the only "work" you need to do is to stop trying so hard?
I'm now going to bring up some food for thought that some folks might choke on for it might seem like I am slaughtering a sacred cow. But I'm not really, just using a different microscope to look at the situation. First and foremost my I state loud and clear that I believe in Free Will and the importance that each individual believe & know they are the master of their fate; that all decisions made are of great importance and ought to be made with great care. So too it must be recognized and acknowledged at that decisions not made are in fact a decision made, you simply choose not to own our choice.
I believe in free will in the moment that as humans we NEED to make choices and we have free will to do so. HOWEVER, I believe there is a bigger overriding picture involved here. I believe that as a spirit-being before incarnating into a particular life time we map out and devise our life's plan and we devise this plan in concert with other souls who will play a part in our human drama. As such I believe that we actually live out our life in perfect accordance with how we originally deemed it to be. I am not talking “fate” for that would imply things are out of our hands. No, our life’s experiences are determined by us and we WILLED it before incarnating; deterministic chaos. In each and every moment that we make a choice while living and breathe in the flesh we are exercising our free will and at the very same time we are making choices that are in accordance with our own personally crafted life plan. Going back to the subject of looking at crystals under an electronic microscope; things may look quite random but when we have the proper lens to view our life with, when we can bring things into a spiritual focus I believe that we are acting and choosing and living in divine accordance with our soul’s request.
What does that mean? Well for starters how about it means we REALLY ought to stop doubting ourselves, we out to live and breathe each moment in divine self-confidence. We ought to be one of those serene folks who walk through life in the peace of self-confidence knowing owning their own internal personal power. And why don’t we? Perhaps a subject matter for another posting but the short of it we choose to be unconscious (to varying degrees) so to have the experience necessary for our soul’s journey. Some lifetimes we may choose to remain aware right from the start, sometimes to have various epiphanies along the way, and sometimes to live detached from our soul’s truth throughout the journey…. It is always as we deem it to be.
Let me turn once more to Chaos Theory to explain briefly and unscientifically in order to lend some credentials to my musings. Within mathmatics (as well as biology and meteriology, etc) CT describes the behavior of certain dynamic systems (systems that evolve with time) as being highly connected to the “initial event” that triggered the start of the system. As a result the chaotic system appears to be random as it evolves over time. HOWEVER in truth these systems are deterministic, meaning that their future dynamic was actually fully defined by its initial condition, i.e., there were no random elements involved whatsoever! This is what is referred to as Chaos, or demterminaitic choas. This is looking backwards from the end point to the beginning. Many folks in the esoteric realms will tell you that spirit world is like the inverted tree…it is all the mirror opposite of the earth plane. So in my way of explaining our life’s plan I am suggesting it is forward evaluative, I am looking from the initiate of creation to say all flows in a determinate pattern but as we are the co-creator of this path its determiniation is designed by us.
A favorite little story, I decided I needed to know more about Quantum Physics and Chaos Theory for myself and embarked upon teaching myself these areas of interest back in 1994. During that summer I went off to alaska to do a vision quest. The one “urban” object I bought with me was a classic text on chaos theory. While in alaska I found myself talking to and eventually sharing a log cabin with a lovely couple from Holland. The husband saw my book and asked me of my interest. As it turned out he was a microbiologist and an EXPERT IN THE FIELD OF CHAOS THEORY. Well I put the book down and began to live my leanring. Can’t think of a more perfect example to share as to how life works its magic; I put it out there that I needed some learning and the universe presented me with the perfect teacher. And might I add the universe was pretty cool as to the classroom it devised for us; picture this, alaska in august, land of the midnight sun, northern lights glowing, salmon swim upsteam in a brook loaded with deposited red caviar while brown bears sat in the shallow stream lazily knocking off dying prey.
While on this trip, I was sitting on a rock one morning at the water’s edge of a deep fiord. I could sense a whale was out there some where. I sat in meditative poise and asked her; “please oh please may I witness your grandure”. And in the very next moment a big old whale surfaced and flew herself spiraling in the air in front of me. Now to me THAT was heavan on earth, heavan is earth. Does that have anything to do with Chaos Theory? I don’t think so but it was a nice memory. Perhaps what it does have to do with is self-confidence…. I had the self-confidence to attempt communication with a whale knowing I could do so. And what a prize I received for the self-confidence I owned that morning.
If you knew that all your “mistakes” were reflections of doing exactly what you were suppose to do at any one particular moment in your life in order to create the master piece that will be your life… would you feel more confident? Would you let go of the self-critical inner voice and find a bit more inner peace that you’ve allowed yourself? I was once very busy being very critical over a small area of a painting I was creating, an hour or two spent completely focused on”fixing” this one little corner and I just couldn’t get right. I threw down my brush in frustration , turned my back, and walked away from the canvas. As I was about 6 feet away I turned back to gaze upon the canvas and my face broke out in a huge smile…. It was beautiful and it was finished. It’s all about using the proper magnification and adjusting the lens into focus…. All is in perfect and beautiful order.
This is in part a post I left yesterday but I left out too much of what I meant to write about so I have begun fresh today....
J. M. W. Turner is one of my favorite artists, perhaps THE favorite. Currently there is a retrospective of his works at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City; the first of its kind ever to be staged in the United States. Turner is one of the first abstract painters we have. The New York Times wrote an extensive review of the exhibition but once again, as is often the case; the review missed the whole point of Turner’s work.
Turner lived from 1775 to 1851. The last time Pluto, the planet, hit rock bottom in Capricorn was 1762. This is significant to our times as Pluto has once again hit rock bottom in Capricorn, a harbinger to significant change that will move us forward in a highly enlighten manner. Remember that the American Revolution began in 1776 & The Industrial Revolution began around this time too, many monarchies fell. These are perfect examples of the type of evolutionary change that can occur. I’m not an astrologer and will not attempt to be. What is significant here is the time frame that Turner worked in as it is also significant for us today.
Turner painted storms. He was obsessed with storms. Some of his greatest works are of storms occurring in the Italian landscape. A historian will tell you that Turner’s canvases are not so much make belief fantasy storms but that he actually witnessed storms that occur in a 200 year cycle; a 200 year weather cycle!! Turner’s canvases captured these incredible cloud formations that were quite violent. And the significance here is that they were not made up, they were not fantasy landscapes but were accurate renderings of nature in a 200 year cycle.
Seeing the exhibit, twice now, I was drawn back into the canvases that I first gazed upon while studying at The Royal College of Art in London in the late 80’s. Recently I went on vacation to my family’s lake house. One day while home all by myself I saw a storm approaching from the opposite side of the lake. Because of the marks on the water I could tell it was raining over there while calm on my side but as the wind began to pick up I watch the storm glide across the lake as it moved toward me. It eventually arrived with pursing deluge. Warm and dry I securely enjoyed the rain from the vantage point of my porch.
The storm provoked memories of a different kind of storm. It was the summer of 2000. In June I dream a horrible dream of a storm dream that would take out almost every telecom company there was. At the time I was on Wall Street and noted for my expertise in the area. This was professionally disturbing but personally as well for I long believed the new fiber-optic companies were laying significant physical ground work that would support the manifestation of many things the spiritual community was hoping to achieve.
In the dream I saw all the companies as various types of boats on an inlet all trying as fast as they could to move toward a tiny inlet that would get them out to the ocean. But as I oversaw this event I could see that too many of them were going to reach the inlet at the same time and that they all couldn’t fit. Boats were crashing into other boats and sinking and even the great big boats with steal hulls were suffering damage. I woke up quiet disturbed by the carnage and perhaps even more so for there was nothing I could do to stop it.
A week or two later I was at the lake house and went to the drive-in movies to see nothing other that George Clooney in “The Perfect Storm.” I knew nothing of the story line; I went simply to share an outing with my beloved family. The film stirred me on at a very deep level. I could not shake off that dream and the message from spirit that perhaps the storm was in fact coming. I even wrote a short story that was focused upon my best friend and how he’d get caught up in the storm but how he’d survive and how life altering and life affirming the experiences for him would become.
Well talk about the Perfect Great Storm that has occurred since 2000! It was relentless both on a macro level and for me personally. I didn’t realized how I myself would come to find myself right at the epicenter of the storm and how I would come to lose my job, my career, my investments, my savings, my home, many a good friend, as well as the potential lose of my best friend. 911 only dealt the death blow the chain of these events.
Then a few weeks ago I saw the Turner paintings and was drawn hypnotically into my favorite; Light and Color the Morning after the Deluge. And realizations have been hitting me ever since.
So many undercurrents recently that no wonder it’s emotional. For me and for many of us the Great Storms are over. We are so much of a better place today than we were 10 years ago, even 5 years ago. I know for many it might not “feel” this way but it is. And please - - to those so inclined do NOT send me an avalanche of angry hostile posts “politically motivated” telling me otherwise. I will censor them for they will be reflections of people’s fears as to the changes coming and I will NOT feed fear on my blog…sorry folks but that is the advantage of authorship! ;o)
The Perfect Great Storm IS over. I believe it takes hard work to stop and go "oh yea" for we've been in such a cycle for so long that it would be easy to assume the storm patterns are "normal" and will continue even though they won't. We WERE/ARE in the midst of a cycle a 200 year old cycle. But I believe we have passed the turning point of things crashing and being destroyed and we have arrived at The Morning After. It is now time to reconnect with like-minded souls, time to rebuild and build anew. I did not loose my most precious flowers in my storm and neither will anyone else. The relationships I held most tightly on to, the relationships that were the dearest to me are still here and are actually stronger and deeper and more intimate. All that was superfluous has been swept away.
After two weeks of peaceful and reflective leisure I can say we are over the hurdle, the great devastating storms are over; not for everyone as many are just beginning the process. But my feeling is that for readers, lightworkers, and visionaries who will help to lead the masses forward, our storms are over.
I read recently that President Bush is working with both McCain and Obama RIGHT NOW to be able to turn the defense issues over to them so that there will be a smoother transition of administrations. This is INCREDIBLE foresight and please note that it is also the opposite of the Clinton White House that went so far as to trash and destroy computers at the White House destroying important data and files in the process. Add this on top of Gore’s inability to concede the election resulting in a delay of 6 months before Bush’s administration was securely in place. January to June… Al-Qaeda certainly did not train pilots and dream up the 911 events between July 2001 and September 11th! [[ Please note; I am making observations – NOT political commentary. ]]
Then I read that article talking about how the pit here in NYC is STILL a pit! World Trade Center 7 was rebuilt nearly 3 years ago – it was a private endeavor but rebuilt. The reconstruction project of the World Trade Center’s central towers is governmentally controlled. There are 18 governmental organizations involved in the reconstruction of the world Trade Center towers. Good god, no wonder they have not been built yet and all this money has been wasted! The pit it still there as evidence that the government has ALREADY collapsed. The WSJ op/ed I read was more an obituary than a prophetic musing! I used to live and work at/near Ground Zero.... it's not a good thing that it's still a pit. The only thought I wish to seed is that perhaps what is now built will be built upon a far greater foundation than otherwise would have been the case.
MUCH CHANGE IS coming! But before you allow yourself to get sucked into the downward spiral of negative group hysterical that “the end is near” – stop yourself. The “end” has already occurred. Much of the old structures that needed to be removed have been.
Look at your own life and find peace knowing how much work you’ve already down to release the old that no longer works for you. Be kind and patient with yourselves over the parts that you still hold on to and ask yourself for permission to let go of all that needs to be released.
I may have "lost ever thing" in my storm but I actually found ALL. I found how strong I was, I found peace of mind, I found that I could stand and fight the Goliaths of my life, I found patience and I found a deep appreciation and love for myself.
In determining the first man to be the patriarch of the Jewish people, god put Abraham through 10 incredible "tests". God didn't put him through these tests for god to see if Abraham was worthy enough. God knows all; god put Abraham through these tests for ABRAHAM to know, to learn that he was strong enough, deserving enough to become the first patriarch of the Jewish people.
So if you've been through many tests, if tests are now coming up for you; breathe deep and know you'll score high, you will not "fail". You may discover that your definitions of success and failure change radically. But for sure you will discover you deserve much and you are strong.
See yourselves as special beings whose time has arrived to make a huge difference in this world by joining the ranks of souls that will work over the next several decades to bring about the wonderful and enlightened change that will transform our experience into one of Heaven on Earth; Heaven IS Earth. So; the “END” is near… the end of the Perfect Storm. Rejoice and begin to focus on all that you would like to construct and bring into our world.

J. M. W. Turner is one of my favorite artists, perhaps THE favorite. Currently there is a retrospective of his works at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City; the first of its kind ever to be staged in the United States. Turner is one of the first abstract painters we have. The New York Times wrote an extensive review of the exhibition but once again, as is often the case; the review missed the whole point of Turner’s work.
Turner lived from 1775 to 1851. The last time Pluto, the planet, hit rock bottom in Capricorn was 1762. This is significant to our times as Pluto has once again hit rock bottom in Capricorn, a harbinger to significant change that will move us forward in a highly enlighten manner. Remember that the American Revolution began in 1776 & The Industrial Revolution are perfect examples of the type of evolutionary change that can occur. I’m not an astrologer and will not attempt to be. What is significant here is the time frame that Turner worked in as it is also significant for us today.
Turner painted storms. He was obsessed with storms. Some of his greatest works are of storms occurring in the Italian landscape. A historian will tell you that Turner’s canvases are not so much make belief fantasy storms but that he actually witnessed storms that occur in a 200 year cycle; a 200 year weather cycle!! Turner’s canvases captured these incredible cloud formations that were quite violent. And the significance here is that they were not made up, they were not fantasy landscapes but were accurate renderings of nature in a 200 year cycle.
Seeing the exhibit, twice now, I was drawn back into the canvases that I first gazed upon while studying at The Royal College of Art in London in the late 80’s. Recently I went on vacation to my family’s lake house. One day while home all by myself I saw a storm approaching from the opposite side of the lake. Because of the marks on the water I could tell it was raining over there while calm on my side but as the wind began to pick up I watch the storm glide across the lake as it moved toward me. It eventually arrived with pursing deluge. Warm and dry I securely enjoyed the rain from the vantage point of my porch.
The storm provoked memories of a different kind of storm. It was the summer of 2000. In June I dream a horrible dream of a storm dream that would take out almost every telecom company there was. At the time I was on Wall Street and noted for my expertise in the area. This was professionally disturbing but personally as well for I long believed the new fiber-optic companies were laying significant physical ground work that would support the manifestation of many things the spiritual community was hoping to achieve.
In the dream I saw all the companies as various types of boats on an inlet all trying as fast as they could to move toward a tiny inlet that would get them out to the ocean. But as I oversaw this event I could see that too many of them were going to reach the inlet at the same time and that they all couldn’t fit. Boats were crashing into other boats and sinking and even the great big boats with steal hulls were suffering damage. I woke up quiet disturbed by the carnage and perhaps even more so for there was nothing I could do to stop it.
A week or two later I was at the lake house and went to the drive-in movies to see nothing other that George Clooney in “The Perfect Storm.” I knew nothing of the story line; I went simply to share an outing with my beloved family. The film stirred me on at a very deep level. I could not shake off that dream and the message from spirit that perhaps the storm was in fact coming. I even wrote a short story that was focused upon my best friend and how he’d get caught up in the storm but how he’d survive and how life altering and life affirming the experiences for him would become.
I didn’t realized how I myself would come to find myself right at the epicenter of the storm and how I would come to lose my job, my career, my investments, my savings, my home, many a good friend, as well as the potential lose of my best friend. 911 only dealt the death blow the chain of these events.
Then a few weeks ago I saw the Turner paintings and was drawn hypnotically into my favorite; Light and Color the Morning after the Deluge. And realizations have been hitting me ever since.
So much undercurrents recently that no wonder it’s emotional. For me and for many of us the Great Storms are over. We are so much of a better place today than we were 10 years ago, even 5 years ago. I know to many it might not “feel” this way but it is. And please - - to those so inclined do NOT send me a avalanche of angry hostile posts “politically motivated” telling me otherwise. I will censor them for they will be reflections of people’s fears as to the changes coming and I will NOT feed fear on my blog…sorry folks but that is the advantage of authorship! ;o)

We are stepping onto the edge of a precipice leading to a world of wonderful and dynamic changes. Much of the old has fallen away and folks are just catching up with this, realizing it themselves and what the ramifications of said change are and some are about to begin the process. For me, this last MAJOR clearing in my life began around June 2000.
When I was 10 years old I met a boy 6 years my senior. He was my brother's best friend and when he walked in my living room for the first time I was on the floor wrestling with my other brother but boy did I stop. I looked and up and thought the sun had walked into my home. I whispered to my brother that I was going to marry that boy.
I grew up and this boy was always near by. We almost "began" the summer I was 18 but I wanted to go away to college first. So I put it off. Then we made arrangements to get together over Thanksgiving vacation my sophomore year. He died in a freak accident in October, about a week after the last time I spoke to him. I never kissed him. I never told him how much I cared, how much I loved him, how his sweet countenance meant the world to me. I thought I had my whole life to tell him. I was 19 1/2 when he passed.
His passing taught me a great lesson; tell those in our life just how much they mean to us. Tell them you love them with abandon. Tell you you’re thankful for their friendship, for their patience, for the little errands they may run for you...for always having a cup of coffee ready on your worst morning. And speak up for truth along the way, don't be quiet or "polite".
This year has been hectic, these past 18 months have been hectic, these past 8 years have been trying; the ups the downs, the stress, the delays the uncertainties, the senseless waste, the departures, the loss, the destructive and senseless vengances of so called “good doers.” But all along the way there was someone there who made the world of a difference for me, each and every day.
So as the deluge recedes (has it? will it ever?), as we are just about at the birth of the light and beauty of the Morning After the Deluge.... may I say to each and everyone who is in my life, and who might possibly stop and read my first blog (blush).... I THANK YOU! I truly do! Let us turn around and pass this one along.....
P.S. When I was finally able to let go of that boy and mourn my loss – 20 years after his death – the greatest love of my entire existence walked into my life 6 months later. Funny how it always seems to work that way. So be patient with ourselves but do let us each release what is meant to pass. Beauty lies ahead.
