Here we go again another retrograde full of funk, upheaval, and just all around "wrong,wrong,wrong". This is a time to think and contemplate before acting or reacting. This is a time of inner soul searching, where you have the chance to take what has happened or not happened and decide what it is YOU must do. We sometimes get stuck in a rut, or unhealthy situation that needs to be shaken up a bit so that we can see the needed changes to get out of what has been stagnat. Like all creatures we evolve, use this time to grow. and to take the steps you have always wanted to take, one at a time and you will most assuredly reach your goals. The key is to stay focused and steadfast while remaining objective, nothing is perfect; accept the flaws as a learning experience, hold your head high and remember YOU ARE WORTH IT....
Rituals are a way to embark on changes . I have taken part in elaborate, moderate and simple rituals. The key to success is your full attention and your full desire. No distractions, pure of thought and emotion on your intent
The New Moon is a potent magical time of beginnings, when you can recharge goals, or set new ones.
A Ritual brings about a "charging" of the intention with power. When we "dream of our future" we are really setting goals for what we would like to happen in our lives, yes some we over reach but, there are plenty that can and will be accomplished by setting them as your goal and bringing it fruition, by nurturing it into existence, remember to be flexible and to stay focused, since new doors may open that you didn't expect.
At the new Moon, goals and wishes take root, as you reach out for spiritual wisdom, draw on unseen allies and open the door to magical change. You might get what you ask for, or something even better that you can't imagine yet.
There is much preparation before the ritual, energy is spent during and focus needed afterwards; so when you have decided on your goal you are making a commitment to see it through.
Preparation: Plan your intent, set a goal. You can use a pre-written ritual or prepare your own.
Take a bath with sea salt and lavendar, and of course candles for natural light. This will allow you to relax, meditate and reflect upon the impending ritual. Time is up to you. At the end of your bath you should be clear and focused on your New Moon goal, now it is time to gather your supplies such as candles, herbs, stones etc. your list will vary depending on your intent
Clear a sacred space to perform your ritual/rite. This is sometimes referred to as an altar, you will place the objects or symbols along with candles to bring your goal to the universe. Be creative use your imagination, for example: to increase finances- use a green candle, money(such as coins), a green cloth, pen and paper and herbs such as; cinnamon, cloves, ginger, jasmine and marigold. You can write the amount you need
( not want-greed is never returned) think upon this number as you intone the words you have chosen, this is where your emotions come in, I sometimes intone the words and get so caught up I find myself becoming louder with each verse, this is totally up to you as I am sure it depends on your surroundings ;-)....burn the paper in the candle, place the ashes and coins in the green cloth with the herbs and tie it with a green string.
Now comes the big part, remaining connected to the energy you created during your ritual. Keep a symbol of your ritual such as the gris-gris bag stated above in a place where you will see it daily to keep you on target with your goal. Rest assured your intent will be carried out, if you have need of more information or are not comfortable performing your own ritual feel free to contact me. Bright Blessings and HAPPY 2012 to you all. I for one am happy to see the end of 2011, not all bad but, none the less a difficult year. If you were among those that found last year full of more trials and tribulations than many years combined you my friend are not alone. I am happy to say that as this New year of 2012 emerges it is time to stake a claim on your freedom, freedom of choice, freedom of worry~ well too much worry ;-). We are emotional creatures that tend to be ruled by emotion regardless of the situation. I for one am taking the preverbial bull by the horns and without making " resolutions" I am staking my claims on MY LIFE and I extend to you an invitation to join me in my quest for excellence this year.

I want to start off by saying thank you to my friends and clients who believe in me and have faith in me as I do you. I have been bringing answers and messages for many, many years and I always try to give the most accurate readings with in-depth answers no matter what, I strive to be very detailed and ensure you have what you need. I am also a workaholic and am available for you when you need me because YOU MATTER TO ME. But, so does my family and I will not waiver nor will I allow the"bad mood" of an individual to make me feel less than who and what I am. On June 17th my fiance was in a very bad accident that totaled his F150. (See my last blog)It takes one hell of an impact to destroy a ford truck, now with that said he thought he was ok, we did go to the ER that night and had the tests done to make sure and they did find swelling at the base of his brain specifically the medulla oblongata due to the head rest of his seat jamming into it and shoving his head into the roof of his truck because the impact of the vehicle at 40 miles an hour slamming into his truck which was at a complete stop caused the driver seat to break and up he went. It took a few days for us to notice he was slurring when he spoke and having difficulty forming sentences and could not remember certain things or words. Due to the injury he sustained and the swelling he has had some difficulty with normal everyday activites such as talking, driving, working etc. I have been less than available to take care of him and do what needed to be done. I do apologize for not being readily available as I normally am. I am not ignoring you in any way at all, I have not been able to get to my computer to inform you of this as I have had my mind elsewhere. He is better and is now driving and slowly getting back to normal and I am now able to settle my thoughts and be here for you. This blog is in response to a client who took my absence personally and sent me an e-mail that I read this morning that has me in shock. I still feel the sting of her words and comments regarding me as a person and a psychic. They were harsh and cruel. I am human, I am not perfect and I do not judge~that is left to higher beings. I hope that we can all remember that life is prescious and it can sometimes be short. I for one know that when it is my time to leave this world and travel to the next I will go peacefully knowing that I followed my path with a few deviations, and a few regrets but, knowing I lived my life to the fullest and never let my loved ones down and hoping I don't let you~my friends down either.~*Love & Blessings Brenda
Dreams can pack a punch, and mine well let's just say have never faltered. I have always had "precognition" in my dreams however, I have had difficuly with the "when" part. Generally speaking in the past a dream vision would take a few days to a few months to manifest. Many, many years ago I was shown the passing of my Aunt, so I promptly phoned my mother who had been refusing to fly up to that point saying she had time as her reasoning. I spoke to her and insisted she go NOW... She did and my Aunt passed a few days after my mother returned. So you see there has been somewhat of a "notice" if you will. On Thursday night of last week I dreamed my fiance and I were standing in our driveway on a beautiful sunny day, the sky was blue with fluffy white clouds. Birds were singing and the squirels were chasing eachother~ we were sad, a feeling of grief washed over me as I put my arm around him and gave him a kiss on his cheek saying " are you going to be ok without your red truck" ??? How are you going to make it without her? " Now, as I am saying this we are watching his truck being taken away out of the driveway and down the street......... He puts his head down shaking it saying " I don't know" as we turn to walk into the house ~ THIS truck~ to him has sentimental value that is beyond monetary measure...The dread washed over me... I was so sad for him.....~ I woke up, he had already left for work so I jumped in the shower, dressed and went downstairs to get my morning cup of caffeine. The phone rang, it was him and he tells me " I need you, my truck has been totaled..... I'm ok, not hurt more than a head injuy a concussion but, my tuck is done. I was speachless for a moment and shaken..... Thinking ~ I thought I had time, time to warn him??? What was different, why was there NO TIME..... Well, as I pondered that question I was given only 1 answer. NOT EVERYTHING that is meant to be is meant to be be known. Somethings MUST happen as they are part of the plan and if known well we may stop something that is the catalyst for other events. Sometimes I feel so very small in this vast universe of energy, angels and other worldly happenings. I appreciate my gifts and I am always learning and growing. So, pay attention to those dreams and remember knowledge is good but, sometimes to much can hinder you. ~* Love & Blessings Brenda
I live with an ex-Marine, my soon to be step-father is a veteran as is his brother. I must say that this weekend is a small token of the appreciation for what was endred by our service men and women. It is hard for me to imagine "Lou" dangling from a helicopter while gun fire is being exchanged all around him holding on for his life as the gaping wound in his head oozes masses amounts of blood......and today the steel plate he jokes about. The reality of the ordeals that happened such as that are more common that we can imagine.. This weekend I want to THANK ALL WHO HAVE SERVED AND ARE SERVING

Unlike most of the other nonfoolish holidays, the history of April Fool's Day, sometimes called All Fool's Day, is not totally clear. It is not like Halloween, where despite an interesting history, most people just put on Halloween costumes, get candy, and leave it at that. There really wasn't a "first April Fool's Day" that can be pinpointed on the calendar. Some believe it sort of evolved simultaneously in several cultures at the same time, from celebrations involving the first day of spring.
The closest point in time that can be identified as the beginning of this tradition was in 1582, in France. Prior to that year, the new year was celebrated for eight days, beginning on March 25. The celebration culminated on April 1. With the reform of the calendar under Charles IX, the Gregorian Calendar was introduced, and New Year's Day was moved to January 1.
However, communications being what they were in the days when news traveled by foot, many people did not receive the news for several years. Others, the more obstinate crowd, refused to accept the new calendar and continued to celebrate the new year on April 1. These backward folk were labeled as "fools" by the general populace. They were subject to some ridicule, and were often sent on "fools errands" or were made the butt of other practical jokes.
This harassment evolved, over time, into a tradition of prank-playing on the first day of April. The tradition eventually spread to England and Scotland in the eighteenth century. It was later introduced to the American colonies of both the English and French. April Fool's Day thus developed into an international fun fest, so to speak, with different nationalities specializing in their own brand of humor at the expense of their friends and families.

Retrograde is feeling a lot like this to many of us right now. It seems as though the largest fears of our lives are surfacing right in front of our very eyes and ears. What do we do now ????? We stand up, recover " From our big black eye" and "Light up the world like the fourth of July"......
Do not let "reto" knock you off your feet. Progress will continue, hold on to the truth. Do not let go of your goals, dreams, or happiness. Yesterday is gone and now you are in control, this is a time for slowing down, thinking, preparing and manifesting the future. Use this time to reflect on the past, to BURY THE PAST- To let go of what must be let go of. To forge ahead with a clean slate, clear your conscience. Do not let fear run your life. Be free, let go of negative emotions. Fear of things of the past resurfacing only stagnates and poisons the future. Deal with life as it happens, this will prevent it "from catching up wih you"
You are in control. REMEMBER: During this time do not react but reflect. Be strong in your convictions and desires. Above all else keep a clear head and remain calm

I have been thinking very hard on the economy, gifts, ethics and obligations as I am sure many of you have. I have come to a few conclusions, now please note that this is my opinion only and we all do what we feel based on what we believe. So I must say that this post is not directed at any one nor is it meant to cause issue. I do however welcome your feedback and thoughts.
I am a psychic witch - not by choice but by "gift". The use of my gifts have grown and have become a source of income for me. Now many have said that it is not right to charge for readings or rituals that it should be done because that is why the gift had been bestowed. Hmmm, good thought but to that I ask these questions?
Are Musicians gifted? Do they get paid?
Are Athletes gifted? Do they get paid?
Are Doctors gifted? Do they get paid? etc,etc.
If I could give my gift freely I most certainly would, as I am sure many if not all of you would. However that is not possible, that is not how this world is set up. I do try to give free minutes answer e-mail questions etc and or a candle rite, spell etc on the behalf of those who request it as much as possible without charge. So I ask that you do not "JUDGE" those who use their gifts as a means of income.

Hmmmm. Before we finish this sentence, we should take the time to reflect on what got us to this point and if it is really worth the time and energy to drag yourself down to a level that is not suited to you, and how long it will take you to pull yourself back up to where you can hold your head high. So, your best bet is don't go there !!!!
I do not believe in getting even, I do however believe strongly in Justice. When you find yourself ready to utter the words above pause and think. It is never a good idea to react in such an emotional state, as in most it causes brain malfunction and in some cases memory loss.
Inevitably when you do you will regret your actions and more than likely not like the reactions you get from others. So please take that moment and pause, then get to the truth the best way you can and then when you are armed with knowledge feel free to react.

Have you ever felt like no matter what you do you hit a brick wall???? Well my friends this is the kind of week I am having !!!! But, as I always say "You have to grab the bull by the horns step in a few smelly piles of shi* and get through it" . As most of you know I am from Maryland and I am trying to get an office space outside of my home to allow myself to be more available to you and others since finding a quiet space for me in a house full of 8 is not working so well lately.
As I sit at my desk that faces our backyard and the sun begins to rise and shine through the double glass doors I start my morning meditation. Yet just before I get to settle, it seems that inevitably someone munchkin sized has a question, problem or just wants to chat. Then there is my loving mother who for her own reasons feels the need to call me and say " what are doing" to which I know the next words out of her mouth will be " Do you fee like running to the store to pick up...... for me"? Or the phone rings and my fiance will say " hey, I need you to call so n so or run out to the shed and get me .... tool????? Good Goddess !!!! Then of course I ask the question to which I already know the answer " why can't you do it" and the answer always makes me chuckle---- " I am at work - your home" !!!! Gotta love it ;-)
Now, don't get me wrong I love them all dearly and with all of my heart and having them close to me is priceless but, it is time to move into my own space. I take this as my sign to grow and to move my business into that store that I have always envisioned. A store that will serve as a place of comfort to all who enter. A place where I can offer all of my services to anyone and everyone without interruption. I am an eclectic white light witch. I make soaps, oils, gris-gris bags, charging items an bags, amulets, enchanted trinket boxes, chocolate covered strawberries, breads, cakes, gourmet apples and even charge personal items for those who request it of me. I will continue to be here on KEEN and I look forward to continuing to serve you all, and maybe see you in my shop " The MystiKal Realm"

It is true to say that our beliefs are what shape and mold us, as well as what causes action or even no action. We are surrounded by beliefs, not only ours but the beliefs of others as well from co-workers, bosses, friends, family etc. Which may come in the form of "opinion" but none the less it comes from what is known to that person.
Each day we are faced with how to act and react based on that belief system, and we can limit ourselves by the negative beliefs we can imagine such as
* I suck at relationships
* I can't do anything right
* He/She will never call
* I'm trapped
* I will never be truly happy
* They are happy, why can't I have a life like.......
* I will screw it up
* I can't do that, I will fail
These limiting beliefs begin to manifest as early as childhood but, become stronger as we get older and evolve as we evolve through life. We may change some of them or adapt them to certain people, places and situations where they become fine tuned.
We are in charge of this system, we can change it through experience, with thought. Nothing is lost or forgotten. However,to stop limiting ourselves we must begin to look at how we use our belief sytem and how it has affected the outcome of any and all situations--Was it a good or bad outcome???? To change an outcome you must go back to the beginning, go back to where it started and write down what occured as well as your beliefs and preconceptions about yourself that caused you to act or not to act. Close in on those negative assumptions and turn them into positive affirmations. Each day write down what it is you wish to accomplish, make it reasonable such as something as simple as getting up 15 minutes early to enjoy that cup of coffee before rushing out the door-- DO IT !!!!! Start off easy and small but be consistent.
With your will, desire and intent you can define your own parameters, your new parameters. You are in charge of you and what you allow. If you believe you can -- you will.

We all have our moments when we hear, see or read something that prompts the response of "What The Hell". I myself had this very response yesterday and am still wondering what in the heavens would prompt a restaurant chain to put an ad on a billboard that reads: `We're like a cult with better Kool-Aid` & " To Die For " over a frozen drink.
Have we as a society truly become so desensitized to our nations tragedy's that someone thought that this was a good idea to promote there establishment????? Really? The tragedy of Jonestown will never be forgotten and today I turn on the television to see a documentary on the Investigation Discovery channel regarding this very subject outlining the details of what took place as I watched, I cried, then I lit a candle and said blessings for those whom suffered.
The news is full of horrific scenes of murder, rape, child abuse etc. Where do we go from here, what is it that we can do to bring forth compassion, love and just plain human kindness?
I do not blame television, videos, music, etc. for the actions of misguided individuals. We as individuals are responsible for our actions whether they are good or bad we alone made the decision, we alone must face the reality of it.
My heart and prayers are with each and every one of you- I wish you Love, Happiness,Success and Health for you and yours
