Quote for the day!
"Every art and every inquiry, and similarly every action and choice, is thought to aim at some good; and for this reason the good has rightly been declared to be that at which all things aim."
--Aristotle

This I believe is about intent. What is yours? Do you think about it? When we get caught up in the "why's" of our relationships, or our lack of one we are usually thinking about what it is WE want. Of course that is human nature. We all have heard the two words, unconditional love. We want it, but do we with our INTENT give it to others? Aristotle taught us a lot about the virtues. Yet, do we really practice those in our own lives? To truly manifest happiness i.e., healthy relationships, we really must attempt to focus on our intent. To stay in a relationship that consistently causes you to focus on what you are not getting, seems to me to be a waste of time and intent. Today, meditate on your true intent, does it match up with your actions?

Quote for the day!
LOVE THIS ONE!!

"You begin life with a bag Full of luck AND an Empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck. GOOD MORNING!!!"

Speaks for itself, wouldn't ya say?
Happy week to you all, may it be filled with much abundance and positive energy.

Quote for the day!
There are times to cultivate and create, when you nurture your world and give birth to new ideas and ventures. There are times of flourishing and abundance, when life feels in full bloom, energized and expanding. And there are times of fruition, when things come to an end. They have reached their climax and must be harvested before they begin to fade. And finally of course, there are times that are cold, and cutting and empty, times when the spring of new beginnings seems like a distant dream. Those rhythms in life are natural events. They weave into one another as day follows night, bringing, not messages of hope and fear, but messages of how things are.

 Chogyam Trungpa

Acceptance births abundance. When we relive the past over and over again, we cloud ourselves with a cloak of negativity. When we learn to shed that cloak, we open up ourselves to our truth. To do this, we must surrender the old, and allow the new to flourish. Easy to say, hard to do. Yet, to embrace what your life path has been endowed to you, you must surrender at times. It is your time to embrace new endeavors, new ideas and a genuine sustenance that feeds your soul.

Quote for the day!

"To let go and set ones self adrift in the flow of another is no easy task. After riding the rapids of inconsistency and chaos, trust once easily given is a commodity that must be earned." --Anonymous

Well, there is a profound thought for the day! In other words, do not give it away for free. Many relationships are started with us going willy nilly, hey I believe you, everything you say, etc....
Energy exchanged comes from a system of trust, it has to be established. You know that in order to be a friend, you must first learn about each other. We do it with our friends yet when we meet that prospective partner, we somehow give them too many exceptions. I wish for any new or current relationships to be built on a solid basis of truth. First, you must ask yourself what your TRUTH is, then form your boundaries, and stick by them! Then, and only then can you accept the truth of another. Your instinctual self is what you must listen to. When it comes to you as well as the "other"!

Quote for the day!

"It's surprising how many persons go through life without ever recognizing that their feelings toward other people are largely determined by their feelings toward themselves, and if you're not comfortable within yourself, you can't be comfortable with others."

Sidney J. Harris

As an Advisor, there have been many times that my clients are so fixated on the "other" that they neglect the most key element in their existence. Themselves. We all have given all of our energy in trying to serve another at times. Love relationships that fail, or are faltering usually reach their demise by the lack of energy we give ourselves. Exerting all of that amazing power to push another into being what we think they should be, we neglect ourselves. Sure, this is hard to hear, more to the point, harder to put into action. Yet, it is the most simplistic gifts we can give ourselves. Look in the mirror. Who do you see? Who do you really see? Start there, the amazing creature staring back at you. Then take your spiritual tools and apply them to you. It does start with love of self. It always will, it is inherent in you. You just may of forgotten, let yourself off the hook. Energy is a powerful force, why would you be less deserving then the "other"?

Quote for the day!
"Water is fluid, soft, and yielding. But water will wear away rock, which is rigid and cannot yield. As a rule, whatever is fluid, soft, and yielding will overcome whatever is rigid and hard. This is another paradox: what is soft is strong."
-- Lao Tzu.

When was the last time you really focused on the elements? Earth, air, water, fire? We all have connections to these amazing tools, tools for us to renew our spirits, to rejuvenate our bodies. As you spend precious time contemplating the "other" how about spending a little time accessing your element? Use it to guide you, refresh you, lead you......

There is power to be found in these elements, a force to tap into. My wish for you today is to tap into yours.

I have been away for awhile, and am so happy to be back on Keen. For those of you who know me, call and let us catch up. For those of you who do not. I welcome you with an open spirit. My Guides are here for you. I an an Intuit/Empath, although I do believe that may be an oxymoron to a certain degree. I work with energy, yours, and those around you. Hope you have a blessed week.

Quote for the day!
"I decided that it was not wisdom that enabled [poets] to write their poetry, but a kind of instinct or inspiration, such as you find in seers and prophets who deliver all their sublime messages without knowing in the least what they mean."
-----Socrates
If you never have spent any time with Socrates, I suggest dusting off an old book at the library. This is one of his best quotes (in my humble opinion) about what we all possess. Instinctual abilities. Some of us ignore our innate ability, some learn to master it, and others may mock it. I prefer to continually try to surpass my own rambling, and attempt to discern my "instinctual" self. This is the part of all of us that can provide great knowledge if we would only take the time to listen. Yes, it is that inner voice, the slightest of whisper that warns us away from danger, or invites us to proceed ahead cautiously when entering into a new relationship. The old adage, "practice makes perfect" rings very true when it comes to honing this incredible gift we have been given. Do not get impatient if it takes much mediation, study and patience. When you learn that the value of your own instinctual self can lead you on  a remarkable journey, you find what Socrates mentioned above. The messages you receive may not make sense at first, and that is o.k. It is in the timing and the amount of value and risk you apply in your own life that will enable you to slowly trust the most inherent part of your psyche, your marvelous instinctual abilities.
Happy 4th of July to those of you who celebrate this most independent of holidays. To those who do not, enjoy your weekend with independence and inspiration.
I am most happy to be back on Keen, and so look forward to hearing from you. Let us work together to hone your special gifts.
