Resistance and the Art of Allowance
Have you ever resisted something and the more you resist it the more you
end up attracting it back into your life. The energy in this situation
is pulling towards you and you are pulling away from it. But think
about this for a moment. When we resist something then it naturally
gravitates towards us. When we allow things to flow then it just merges
with us. What does this mean? Simply put when we act as if something
does not bother us then we are actually in the process of shifting our
energies. It is in the act itself that creates this change. We are
taking a step towards change. We are doing something to move away from
whatever it is we are resisting and the thing that we resist no
longer feels the resistance and seeks another opportunity for
resistance.
This thing is called energy and it is all around us. What we are
actually doing is managing our energy and the energy around us by
changing how we act in the physical world by the decision to do
something different. By doing this, we free ourselves
from the bondage of this energy of resistance and make room for a
natural flow to occur. Think about
this for a moment. Perhaps we have been trying to make a change in our
life for some time. If the change is a habit or situation that is no
longer serving us then we charge ahead without resistance and we begin
to employ a new habit called "the art of allowance". We let this
thing go by allowing whatever it is to exist without acting on its
presence. We simply watch it and do nothing. We allow without acting
and we observe without wanting.
We have made a new choice and the new choice launches us into a new
energy pattern. That which we used to resist becomes that which we
attract and we employ the strategy of allowance in our life. We merge
into a new beginning filled with the ability to
let go and let God.. When we live our life in Gods hands then
resistance
becomes a thing of the past We are free to attract new energies. When
we are free to attract new energies in our life then we are flowing
along with the universal energy of life--we are actually acting like the
divine children God had intended. We are flowing instead of knowing.
We are loving those around us by our ability to live and let live. We
are allowing thoughts to flow through us instead of molding them into
resistance. We are becoming spiritual beings in a physical body instead
of physical beings in a mental state of consciousness. We are learning
to become one with our maker and making peace with ourselves. We are
no longer resisting change and we are merging with spirit. We are in a
constant state of allowance.

To be flexible is to be in total acceptance of what is rather than a resistance to what is not. You must be in the present moment to be in this frame of mind and confirm this energy pattern in your etheric and auric fields. This does not mean you have to be passive and tolerant to things you do or do not like, nor be a victim but it requires you to accept Gods will when you know he is working in your life because you are living in his light and accepting his laws. Being flexible requires being aware of all of the good and bad and not just merging with the flow it means to merge with the lessons that are in front of you and embrace them. Being able to see a lesson and the spiritual meaning behind the lesson is also the mark of the spiritual warrior. This may sound idealistic but remember great pain and injustice exist in this world. When something painful happens it is important to not resist the experience or be in denial and face living in fear; like the tree with the branches that break in the wind. Rather accept the situation fully, while remaining grounded with the bigger picture in life and remembering that God never gives us more than we can handle.

When we align our lives our habits of exercise, diet, work and sexuality with spiritual laws, challenges are still there yet we approach them without struggle and we seem to be in the flow. The law of harvest teaches us that seeds only reproduce their own kind; that what we sow , we reap; and that a seed dies when it stops growing. Any process of growth follows the way of the seed: in order to grow, the seed needs good soil; it takes time to grow into maturity; and it bears fruit of the same kind and quality itself. When we gather the harvest, we need to save at least ten percent for the next planting. We have to end one cycle to begin another; all seeds grow and change, and eventually die, to be plowed under for a fresh planing.
The laws of harvest relate to more than farming; they illuminate our our lives and the laws that govern us. As with seeds and cycles, so with human beings and all the beings of creation. All spiritual laws reveal themselves as needed and not necessarily in words, but rather through our deepest feelings, through the intuitive wisdom of our heart.
