Clearing the Air
This intention is done in situations where there may be misunderstandings or even when there has been a break up or parting of ways and you can’t contact the person to break the negative energy. With this intention you can work to change the energy between you without having to contact them.
Instructions: Find a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed. Think about the person you wish to send this energy to. Then say the intention aloud three times. If you wish to light a candle at the same time to increase the energy, use a pink votive.

Sometimes I find that life situations in the physical can hold great spiritual lessons for us. Right now I am stuck in my house due to a blizzard that has frozen most of the Midwest in place. I was supposed to be with my family tonight, but instead I am warm and cozy in my house. Yesterday I was pretty upset by this, but by today, I'm feeling much better and taking this as an opportunity to focus on my plans for my business in the upcoming year.
Often times in life we can feel stuck and frozen in place with no apparent reason for it to be happening. Like today is for me, these times are prime opportunities for us to make plans, tidy up the present, and prepare for the future. As annoying as they are, they are needed respites from the constant motion we often find ourselves in. Greet those times with a purpose and your "stuck" will look more like a holiday.

Recently I've been working on my remote viewing skills. I find this
comes in handy when trying to find missing objects for people and is
something I would like to get even better at. Remote viewing is
interesting in that I usually only get a small glimpse of the area the
object is in and the rest is foggy, similar to looking through a
telescope with frosted edges. I've asked my guides to help me with
this and it seems that this week was the week to use this skill in
force.
My guides have always had a funny sense of humor so when a friend
called me today with a question, I thought they were pulling a fast
one on me. She was headed over to her step-dad's house to go through
some things that belonged to her mom who passed about 4 years ago. She
wanted to know if there was anything her mom wanted her to have that
she hadn't thought of. Immediately I saw this little plastic hula
girl. You know the kind, they wiggle around like a little bobble head
doll, so tacky they are cute. I felt kind of stupid and at a loss for
words, figuring my Guides were playing a practical joke on me. After
all, I don't call them Larry, Moe, and Curly for nothing!
I hesitated for a moment, but knowing that my dear friend wouldn't
think I had lost my mind too far, I told her exactly what I saw. There
was a brief silence on the other end of the line and then I heard her
laugh. She explained that several years ago her mother bought two
little hula girl statues. One for herself and one for her daughter, my
friend. She hadn't seen her mother's in quite awhile and thought her
step-dad had possibly sold it. I could hear the smile in her voice as
she described the statue and how the girl would dance around in circles
when you turned the switch on. As a psychic medium, I have had the
honor of connecting with her mom in the past as well. My friend misses
her mom dearly and even if she doesn't find the Hula girl, at least by
listening to my guides I was able to bring her a little message of love
from her mom.
I shook my head on that one and told my friend that even I was
impressed with that. She agreed, but said she was even more impressed
by how I helped her earlier in the week when she couldn't find her
prescription refill she had just picked up a couple of days before. I
told her I saw it in a paper bag, but that it was also in plastic and
she accidentally threw it away. It didn't make sense to me that she
wouldn't have taken it out to the trash yet because she had mentioned
that she had trash day the day before. She explained that in their
town they have to put plastic bags in the recycling bin instead of the
regular trash. I could hear her rustling through plastic bags when
all of a sudden she let out a squeal that almost broke my ear drum.
She found the prescription! It was in the little paper bag from the
pharmacy, but INSIDE the plastic bag from the store where she had also
picked up other items. She hadn't thought to look there since she
knew the prescription was in a paper bag. I guess for her, a missing
prescription trumps a hula girl!
As I was reflecting on this I thought about how earlier this week I
helped a mom find her daughter's cell phone. I will admit that I was
a little off in all the details as I saw it at the bottom of a pink
backpack when it was actually a purple one, but both mom and daughter
were happy to recover it. It has been a good week in the lost and
found department!
On a side note however, that little girl really needs to clean that backpack out!
Working on Self is probably one of the most
important tasks we are asked to do in this life time. If
we are not aligned with and happy with Self, we find it
difficult to be happy with life in general.

A word about the "Dark Moon" : Many people refer to the
New Moon as the Dark Moon. There is evidence however that
points to the ancient belief that the Dark Moon is the time 3
days prior to the New Moon. This is a time when any
binding or banishing spells were done. It was also a time
where spells were done to bring about swift justice or a swift
closing of a matter. I personally believe that the time
prior to the New Moon is a powerful time and should be
considered apart from the New Moon.

When I was a very little girl my
Grandmother taught me the "Rule of Three" after she caught me
pointing at a car that drove by, saying it was funny looking.
She asked me to look at my hand as I pointed one finger away
from me and asked me what I noticed. "I see three fingers
pointing back at me" I replied. My Grandmother responded,
"Little one, you have now learned the rule of three. What
ever you put out, be it good or bad, will return to you three
fold. You would be wise to remember that in all your

I'm not really a patient person and I freely admit that patience is not one of the virtues
I possess. I've heard many people say that they want to learn to be
patient, but I have decided that I really don't want to learn that
lesson.
Why would you say that Kim? Well, its simple really.

LESSONS in it.
Ha! Well, I'm opting out of those and decided
that I would much prefer to not have to worry about it at all. Sure,
things won't happen right away for me, I realize this, but I think I
would rather just not KNOW that I'm waiting for something.

course, the Universe and my Guides have a totally different idea of how
things will play out and as usual, they will get their way. I don't say
this begrudgingly because I know that they know what is best for me.
Yes, its a sad fact of life. Everything I want isn't always good for
me. Go figure!
Blah: Well, I apologize for not having kept up with my Tarot lesson this last week. I ended up getting a NASTY sinus infection that really threw me for the count. Needless to say, I wasn't on line here much either. This weekend I am going to visit my sister to celebrate my daughter's 16th birthday and take in a Royals/Twins game. So, I may be on only for a bit, but will be back Sunday night.
Yippie: We found out yesterday that my oldest son has qualified to be considered for the National Merit Scholarship program. Now he just needs to take his SATs and then we won't hear until next school year where he places. Just being selected is a HUGE honor. He wants to go to MIT to major in aeronautical engineering.
