This is one of my favorite prayers.
The Irish singer Sinead O'Connor sings a beautiful version of this prayer.
Listening to this song and reciting this prayer can really bring peace in hard times.
The Prayer of Saint Francis:
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love.
Where there is injury, pardon.
Where there is doubt, faith.
Where there is despair, hope.
Where there is darkness, light.
Where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive.
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.
Amen.

Love Pomanders date back to the 15th century. They were originally made by women wishing to attract their true love. They also make great air fresheners!
They are so easy to make!
You will need:
An orange
a toothpick
whole cloves
cinnamon
a long pink or red ribbon
To make the pomander, poke whole cloves into the orange.
You can cover the orange or place them in a pattern, like hearts or stripes.
Using a toothpick to pre-poke holes can make it a little easier to get the cloves into the orange.
When you are happy with the amount of cloves in the orange, fill a bowl with cinnamon.
Roll the orange in cinnamon until it is completely covered.
Tie the ribbon around the orange and hang it in the back of your closet.
You will need to tighten the ribbon every day as the orange dries.
Pomanders also make a great decoration if you arrange several of them in a decorative bowl.
They are also a fun project to make with kids.
Love and Blessings,
Teri

Is your love giving you heartache and causing you grief? Do you need a good love in your life?
You can make a very simple and inexpensive magic charm to insure and attract kindness and love into your life.
It also works to stop others from being cruel or rude to you.
My daughter tried this bit of magic on her friends when she was just 8 years old. It worked like a charm!
There are two simple things you will need. A small mirror and a marker.
You can improvise on the mirror if you don't want to be to obvious.
A shiny silver reflective necklace or any reflective surface will work.
I like to use the tiny round mirrors that you can buy at craft stores.
The first step is to draw a heart at the top of the mirror.
You can make this as simple or as complex as you would like.
It can look like a plain heart or a fancy piece of art. It's your choice.
The second step is to draw a teardrop under the heart. Now draw a line through the teardrop.
You can draw the line at any angle. This attracts love and stops the tears!
The third and final step is to wear this mirror or show it to your intended subject. They must look directly at it.
The charm usually works instantly if it's going to work. If they don't start treating you better right away,
they may be a lost cause and you should consider phasing them out of your life.
Do you want to attract love and kindness from everyone?
Try drawing the images on a shiny charm or jewelry and wear it often.
These also make great gifts!
Love and Blessings,
Teri
"If you cannot be a poet, be the
poem." David Carradine
"There is, within each of us, a heart
that is much larger than ordinary human affairs would normally
reveal, a heart that can embrace the world because it overflows with
love. This heart has not been touched by the pains and disturbances
of childhood, nor the traumas or losses that may have come about
since then. This heart does not need to be fed by public approval or
by the temporary currents of popularity or fame. It does not need
these things, because the source of its love does not come from
outside but from inside. Without contact with that source, one can go
through life feeling that one can only handle a limited number of
relationships and that even within these relationships everything can
be very complicated. With contact, everything becomes simple. There
is only love, and it is the reason that we are alive."

Sacred Heart-Opening Practice, by Julie Redstone, from the new issue
of Pear Magazine Online
How do we find our true self? How do we find peace and happiness? It's easy to get caught up in the
hustle and bustle of each day.
Our lives may become chaotic and
distractions keep us from finding peace. Often holding us back and keeping our mind in a
state of fear. The universe is made of energy and fear energy can block positive
experiences and abundance.
We all experience bad things in our
lives. The trick is to learn from them and
then move past it quickly. The fastest way to get back on track to a good life
and happiness is to get in touch with our center or our core being.
We are made of
energy and our core being is pure love energy. To get in touch with our core, meditate without distractions and feel the light
from within. When you get in touch with universal love from within, radiate it and project it outward and
life will start to improve.
I know these are tough times that we
are living in now, spiritually and economically. Feeling the warmth and love from our
core being can serve as a cushion to make us feel
better even in times of crisis. It can also pave the way for a brighter future. The future path
we take is always ultimately our choice. Pain and suffering, or peace and love.
Many Blessings!

Are you burnt out on affirmations? Do you wonder why they just don't seem to work?
Sometimes we can make a change, but things seem to drift back to the way
they were before.
To make real changes with affirmations we have to go to a deeper level.
The best way to do affirmations is in Alpha or Delta state where the changes
will really take place.
How can you do this? Just relax!
The first step is to write down your affirmations so you don't forget them in a
relaxed state.
The next step is to sit or lie down in a comfortable position.
Relax all of your muscles or meditate until you reach a state where you feel
you are about to fall asleep. Don't sleep!
I like to count backward from 25 to 1 with my eyes closed.
Now say or read your affirmations at least five times.
It also helps to cut out pictures of the things you want from magazines and place them
where you'll see them often.
Good Luck!
Love and Blessings,
Teri
I love this ancient advice. It's still relevant today:
"Live in rooms full of light. Avoid heavy food. Be moderate in the drinking of wine. Take massage, baths, exercise, and gymnastics. Fight insomnia with gentle rocking or the sound of running water. Change surroundings and take long journeys. Strictly avoid frightening ideas. Indulge in cheerful conversation and amusements. Listen to music." - A. Cornelius Celsus
I'm often asked if it's really possible to do a psychic reading on a pet. Animals are very easy for me to read. They have a strong connection to their owners. They are trusting and don't have psychic blocks up. They want to be understood and have little to hide from their human families.
I love peeking into the thoughts and feelings of pets. Most of the time they are doing well and are feeling very happy. Sometimes there was a serious issue or concern that was bothering the pet. I love it when I can solve a pet issue and return him/her back to a happy state of mind.
Pet readings are very common. Ask your psychic and they will tell you of they feel comfortable reading your for pet. Never feel hesitant to ask about your special loved one!

Is your new love a dud or a keeper?
So it's your first date and you wonder
if this person is a dud or a keeper.
How can you know before you invest a
lot of time and energy?
You can avoid wasting your time and
energy by looking for these tell-tale signs of an abuser or someone who will be a
difficult mate.
The following early warning signs are clues to watch
for:
1) Chivalry may be a wonderful trait,
but over controlling is not.
Do they make plans
without asking you what you want to do?
Do they order your food for
you without asking what you want to eat?
Worse yet, do they ask you
what you want to do, then do something completely different than your suggestions?
2) Are they rude to waiters,
valets, cashiers or strangers?
If they are you can be sure
that they will be rude to you in the future.
3) Are they mean or impatient with
children or animals?
Cruelty to animals is a classic sign of an abuser.
4) Do they start using the words 'us'
or 'we' refering to plans for the future when you first meet them?
This is a tactic of many con-men. It's meant to make you feel like a
part of a group to cause you to trust them, before you know them
very well.
5) Do they seem to blame everyone
else for problems? Do they complain or talk bad about their ex
often?
6)Do they fail to take responsibility
for their mistakes?
7) Do they show signs of jealousy from the
very beginning?
8) Is it 'love at first sight' or do they
call you 'the love of their life' right from the start?
Watch out if they seem to be moving to
fast.
9) Do they idolize you and put you on a
pedestal? Do they expect things of you that are beyond your
capabilities?
10) Do they belittle you or others, even in
jest? Do they make you feel bad about who you are, or suggest ways
that you can improve?
These are only a few warning signs of a
potential abusive relationship. If they show more than one of these
signs save yourself some heartache and decline future dates.
Good luck and Much Love,
Teri
Fear less, hope more; Eat less, chew more; Whine less, breathe more; Talk less, say more; Love more, and all good things will be yours. –Swedish Proverb
I think this is a great proverb. These are difficult times that we are living in and many people feel very stressed out. Stress can takes it's toll on the human body. It's during the most difficult times that we need to remember to take a minute to relax. As impossible as that may seem.
There are so many ways to relax during the day. We can take a bubble bath, watch a movie, make a cool fruit smoothie, listen to our favorite music or read a good book.
Another great way to reduce stress is to keep a smooth stone in your pocket or nearby. When you feel stress place the stone in your hand and rub it with your thumb. My mother used to call smooth stones 'worry stones.'
I hope in your busy day you can take a minute and remember to be kind to yourself!

What's going on? Why does he/she
seldom say I love you?
I highly recommend reading the book, "The 5 Love Languages" by Dr. Gary Chapman.
In Dr. Gary Chapman's 30 years as a marriage counselor
he noticed that there are 5 distinct languages of love. He also noticed that
most people are attracted to someone who speaks a different language of
love.
What does this mean? It might be
important for you to hear the words, “I love you” to feel loved. You may be with a
significant other who doesn't think saying the words are as important as spending
quality time together.
According to the book, the five
languages of love are:
Words of affirmation
Quality time
Receiving gifts
Acts of service
Physical touch
Reading this book could be like a light
bulb lighting up over your head. You may think you are in a loveless
relationship but what if you are wrong? Perhaps the love was there all along,
speaking a different language.

Teri
The moon will be full on this Sunday the 4th of October. The next full moon is the 2nd of November. Here is a tried and true way to bring money and prosperity to you:
Leave your empty purse or wallet open in the moonlight overnight, on the night of the full moon. That's it, it's that simple.
The energy of the full moon will fill your purse with money. You only need to leave one wallet or purse out. Make sure that it is completely empty. You can use it as you normally would the next day.
Try it and see if it works for you!

Everyone yearns to have a better life. More love and money may be on your mind. Better health and a job you enjoy may
be things you want. While we know we want the best in life people seldom
stop to think about how their life is really doing. They may be swayed by emotion. Some
days thinking their life is terrible and other days feeling very blessed.
To truly change your life you have to
be objective and take inventory. It's helpful to identify the things
that are going right and the things that you would like to change. Knowing what those
things are is empowering. How can we take inventory? One tried
and true method is to list the pro's and con's. On a piece of paper write these four
main areas of your life: love, money, health and family. Give yourself some room between
categories. You may even want to use a separate page for each category. Now write one or
two sub-categories for each main area.
For example:
Love - relationships, children,
friends.
Next comes the fun part. For each
category make a pro's list and a con's list. Think of everything in your life that
you are happy about and write it in the pro's list. When you're done with the pro's list,
think of everything in your life that you would like to change or eliminate altogether and
place it in the con's list.
This may take a little time but if you
are honest with yourself you will clearly see the things that need to change in your life. Once
you see the need for change, take it one day at a time. Make small daily goals that can get you
to where you want to be. Before you know it you will be living a life that makes you happy.
Remember, we can only change ourselves. All of your effort for change should be directed toward
yourself and not focused on changing someone else. Also, be kind to
yourself. Baby steps are the way to lasting change and happiness.
Many Blessings,

The first celebration of women's day
was on February 28 1909. It was originally a political holiday to
recognize the many achievements of women throughout history. While
it started as a day to celebrate the working woman it was soon
recognized that all women are working women and greatly contribute to
society.
Womens day is a good excuse to make
this a special day for all of the women in your life. Tell them how much you appreciate them
and do something to make their day special.
If you are a woman, celebrate by doing
something to pamper yourself.
A bubble bath, a walk in the park,
aromatherapy or your favorite music or movie are a few ideas.
Spread the word and let everyone know
that it's International Women's Day!
Love and Blessings,
Teri
