So playing violent videogames is a sin? Well, I visualized what it might look like with God playing and saying, "Whoa... I totally nailed that guy!"
Okay... didn't like that myself. But then I thought... okay, everyone else is allowed to play videogames but it wouldn't be appropriate for God to play. Bummer, God. You can't play. :: smile ::
j/k (Just kidding.)
Can't stop thinking that the "rabbit's foot" wasn't very lucky for the rabbit.
What's this with news journalists saying that the shooter was "reportedly Black?"
Now when I see a celebrity or spokesperson who seems like they could "pass" (for White), I have been saying, "She's allegedly Black."
"Dear Marcee! having fun on the sailboat. Javier (her imaginary friend) said to tell you howdy! because of BP we haven't needed moisturizer for months."
"Javier has changed his name to 'Slick' and he's no longer afraid of immigration or the governor of AZ. he says it's because they can catch him, but he's so oily they can't hold him."
I'm finding way too much humor by looking at the online posts about the video games that I'm playing. But of course, you have to play the video game to "get" the humor.
The good way to show you like someone... flatulence.
Some have said that it's our thinking/planning ability -- which helps us to rise above basic instinctive behavior -- which makes us different than the animals.
I say, it's also because we "laugh."
Angels are never mentioned as "laughing."
God is never referenced as "laughing."
Thought question: What I think of as my cat laughing, is that really laughing?
Thought question: Jesus wept, but did he ever laugh?
Say it loud, "I laugh and I'm proud!"
So, I study the Bible regularly, and I'm currently about to study the topic AUTHORITY; as in, God's authority.
Just the title reminds me:
When I first joined my religious group, after about an hour of celebrating, I was told, "The (elders) will be meeting with you tomorrow."
"What!" I exclaimed, "I've only been a member for an hour. What could I possibly have done wrong!"
"No," they explained, "The (elders) just want to welcome you and give you a new-member gift."
