Greetings I have been away of late as I am taking time out to socialize FruFru at the dog park. We have been having a blast. She is no longer afraid of the other dogs and is taking to the park like a duck tp water.
FruFru and I want to remind people that buying a dog from a pet shop or from certain breeders on the internet perpetuates the cruel practice of the factory farming of dogs. To our mind it is never ok. Missouri holds the record for the state with the most puppy mills. Many of these mills are owned and run by Amish farmers as a way of making money. The ads often say the puppies are raised by loving children and bring to mind quaint farms and loving care. The truth of the matter is the dogs are raised in cages and the females are bred long before their second birthday and they are bred on every heat cycle. They , the breeding dogs and the puppies are sold and traded in auctions. When the females can no longer breed they are frequently sold for research or killed. In the best of the factory farms the dogs including the puppies have very little human contact and they are often fearful and anxious around people. The USDA sadly liscences the larger mills just like they liscence chicken farms. Don't feed this industry. If you decide to bring a puppy into your family make sure you adopt from a reputable breeder, rescue, humane society or other decent place. Together we can stop the misery.
FruFru and I feel like Keen is an Interesting place but lately we have been thinking about warmer climes and tropical destinations where we could give readings while we both relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of a psychic cruise ship. I would love to hear from anyone who has been on a psychic cruise. Are dogs ever welcome aboard? We are interested in hearing about metaphysical charter cruises from both vacation passengers and psychics. We both love to travel and I love the concept of giving readings on a ship in the middle of the ocean. I haven't adjusted yet to the change of seasons and keep getting nostalgic for the long sunny days of summer. A psychic cruise just feels like the perfect solution. So if you know anything about psychic cruises we would love to hear from you. Another thing that sounds like a fun way to travel is at psychic fairs that move accross the country. I have given tarot readings at fairs in my area but not these travelling ones. Not sure where these itchy feet are coming from but I just want to keep moving, discover hidden, out of the way places with my buddy FruFru. Sophia Conscioussness is celebrating the return of the mother and feminine aspects of concsousness after a 4000 year period of darkness perpetuated by patriarchy and the masculinization of the Godhead (so say the the folowers of Sophia). Sophia is an ancient Goddess who is said by some to be the original black Madonna. As the power and control era of war is subsiding,the Gnostic Goddess of wisdom is waiting in the wings to accompany humankind into a new era of wholeness and Universal Love. I spoke to a woman who went to Egypt and spoke to the ancient Goddess, she said that instead of being sweet and gentle that Sophia was cranky because she wants humankind to stop living in brutality and enter a new era filled with hope, Love and serenity. This woman that spoke to the Goddess in Egypt was 75 years old and her take on things was that anybody living for 4000 years and examining the way that humans have caused such great suffering , has a right to be cranky. Interestingly this woman believes that Christ did not die when he was hung on the cross but rather suffered a near death experience. Is Sophia the more human aspects of Gaia, our great Mother Earth?
FruFru tells me you don't need to be clairvoyant to know that he's married when:
He is never, ever free on the weekend.
Instead of taking you out somewhere nice he insists on taking you to a hole in the wall place, in the middle of nowhere because it is the only place around where you can get real, Bulgarian cuisene that you can eat in the dark.
He says the thing he appreciates most about you is how you are such a free spirit (and a good sport).
He tells you that he can't take you to meet any of his family because they are all deceased.
You notice that he has three cell phones.
His name on that dating site is different than the one on his drivers Liscence.
He refuses to take you to his place cause he says he has the housemate from hell.
He tells you if he were the marrying type he would marry you.
He makes good money but he's broke all the time (children are expensive).
He tells you he cannot stand the smell of perfume and he is allergic to scents but he is wearing cologne.
He doesn't kiss you if your wearing lipstick.
FruFru and I worry about the pet food quality. She eats a lot of chicken and rice but I have not completly eliminated kibble from her diet. And we both think i should. She doesn't trust what goes into pet food. For example some so called natural and organic dog food claims to have no preservatives and antibiotics in it but if it has meat meal or poultry protein and other things made out of dead animals from the rendering plants it is packed full of preservatives (and antibiotics) before it ever ends up at the pet food factory. Thats a loop hole that needs closing. Then of course stuff like poultry meal is not just chicken meet its the feet and the beeks and stuff like that. And sadly dog food imported from China has proved to be down right deadly. The reason that the preservatives are a big deal is because they wreak havoc on the kidneys of cats and dogs thus diminishing their quality of life while shortening the lifespan.
