Laura works as a psychic and a medium.
Her clients find her honest, caring, accurate, 'down homey' and, she takes every question and request that is asked of her very seriously.

Laura and I chatted about her history as a psychic medium and what to expect when you call for a reading. I know that you'll find Laura very open and honest.
Are you the only one in your family that's psychic?
No. My great grandmother and daughter are both psychic. My great grandmother kept her abilities to herself, but she did do private readings. People would come to her and ask about people that were in the war. (WWII). My daughter is proving to be especially gifted as a medium.
How old were you when you first realized you had these “gifts”?
I had psychic experiences when I was younger. For example, sometimes I would meet someone and I would just know things about them. And, I would know things that were going to happen in the future and these things did come to pass. But, I really realized what this was all about was when I was 26 years old.
Do you consider them a blessing or a curse?
I do consider them to be a gift. They allow me to give people insight into their life issues. And reunite them with their past loved ones.
What happened when you were 26 that made you realize that you were a psychic medium?
I was pregnant, with my daughter (who is also psychic) and I drove by an accident and I saw the victim lying on the pavement. Unbeknown to me it was my father that was killed. Several hours later I began to receive messages from my father. I was actually seeing him psychically. That was very scary to me.
This began my study of what I was experiencing and truly opened the portal to the other side.
You are both a psychic and a medium. Do you prefer working as one as opposed to the other?
I do like the mediumship because I personally know how important it is to connect with a love one who has crossed. But, that does not mean that I do not enjoy giving psychic readings. They are both really important to people.
As a medium do you actually see “dead people” or do they communicate telepathically?
I have experienced both. It really does depend on the individual connection. I have found that hearing the departed has been more validating to the clients. It means more to a client to receive messages then to just describe a loved one physically.
When someone calls you for a reading what can they expect? How should they prepare?
Psychic reading: Expect to receive messages that will guide you on your life path as well as assist you with your life lessons. You'll receive what you're meant to receive at the time. It's always best to come with a list of questions you'd like answers to, but I start each reading with what I am receiving.
Medium: I ask clients to have a pen and paper so that they can write down the messages from the reading in case there is something they cannot validate at the time. A medimship reading includes messages from past loved ones, and often times things that will happen in the future.
Let's be brutally honest Laura. We've both gotten questions from clients that are basically impossible to answer. But, they're so basic to human nature we can't help but ask! e.g., “Is s/he thinking about me right now?” “Is he going to call me this weekend?” What is the best way to handle these questions?
People need to know up front that we as psychics are not allowed to know everything because we are all here to learn. Questions such as these seem to be less important to the spirit world since they don't pertain to your life path. I receive insights for clients that they are meant to know at the time.
When someone calls for a mediumship reading and they really wants to talk to 'Aunt Rose' and 'Aunt Rose' is just not coming through why is that happening?
There are several reasons for this: 1) You are meant to hear from someone else that has crossed and has a connection to you. 2) Sometimes you receive a message from the spirit world that is meant to be given to someone that you know. 3) Your loved one may have karmic issues that they need to workout before they can come through for you. 4) Perhaps they just need to adjust to the otherside.
You have some exciting news! Tell us about your new radio show.
I am currently working on a radio show with my daughter. The focus is to discuss a wide range of spiritual topics. We hope to showcase a different topic each week. And of course we will also be doing live readings. The show is planned to premier this spring. Check my website for more details starting next year.
