Taurus
April 21 – May 21
A comfortable existence with all the necessary treats and trimmings is what being a Taurus is all about. Your best earning opportunities will come in the two weeks following June 3. Be aware, though, that any jobs you accept during this period will involve lots of extra work and responsibility. On the plus side, this will be both creative and energising. Nearly seven months later, on November 27, you could get a handsome and unexpected windfall. An inheritance, insurance payment, tax refund, or alimony payment could be awarded to you, but you may have to put up a fight to get what is yours. The threat of negative publicity can help you get funds that are rightfully yours.

Gemini
May 22- Jun 21
You have the ability to earn large sums – but also to spend them. Money could come pouring in this year and the best part is you won’t have to work for it! If you’re in a relationship, your partner could make a mint and share it with you. If you are single, you could win the lottery, receive an inheritance, get a divorce settlement, win a scholarship, or net a government grant. Resist the temptation to spend all of these funds, as this year may prove to be the exception to the rule. By putting a good portion of this money into savings, you could retire early or live off the interest of some wise investments. As far as earning money is concerned, your best opportunities fall in the two weeks following July 3. If you get a job, though, it may not have a lot of benefits. Therefore, it’s wise to open negotiations for a higher salary.

Cancer
Jun 22 - July 23
You shop for quality and value – and expect things to last. You won’t have to raid the sofa cushions in search of cash this year. On the contrary, money will come from a variety of sources. Your first windfall may arrive in the days following February 7, when a solar eclipse brings you money from an inheritance, grant, or scholarship. If you’re in a committed partnership, your lover could make a mint and share their goodies with you. This chunk of change may be so significant that you’ll be able to quit a job that you hate; giving your notice around February 21 seems likely. Your best time to get a lucrative job is near August 1, when another solar eclipse shines in your second house of earned income. Not only will this assignment be profitable, but it will also help you use your creative and intellectual skills. (July 24 – Aug 23)
Leos are naturally extravagant. You love to spend money on the people and things you enjoy. The need to be resourceful with money will be a continuing theme this year. Your job may not pay as much money as you deserve, or it may be difficult to find work in your desired field. It could be necessary to take a position that pays less than the one you previously held. Alternately, you might have to do a job that is beneath your educational level. This might be a good time to work on a freelance basis, as you’ll have no trouble finding pleasant short term assignments. You could also decide to supplement your salary with odd jobs. Working at nights and weekends may not be a thrilling prospect, but it will put extra money in your pocket. This will be a comforting thought when a steady source of income comes to a close near February 21, when a lunar eclipse clears out an old, outmoded job for a bigger and better opportunity.

Aug 24 – Sep 23
You are prepared to work hard for your money. And you devote far too much time worrying about the money you have – as well as the money you don’t have. Libra is the sign of balance and that applies as much to money as to anything else. Your finances continue to be erratic and turbulent, thanks to an uneven and unpredictable job market. Keep in mind that your best chances for receiving unearned income (tax refunds, alimony cheques, insurance payments, inheritances, dividends, and prize money) will be in the two weeks following May 5. An unexpectedly lucrative earning opportunity could be found on or around October 28, when a relative tips you off to a fantastic job opening.

Scorpio
Oct 24 - Nov 22
Money is power. And having power is what being a Scorpio is all about. Nov 23 – Dec 21
Your optimistic nature leads you to believe that there is always a stash of cash around the next corner – and, remarkably, there often is. This year abounds with moneymaking offers; your challenge will be to pick the most rewarding ones. Opportunities related to law, publishing, education, medicine, and psychology are all favoured. Ultimately, you’ll be able to turn a profit wherever you go. An impressive leadership position may be handed to you in the wake of a scandal around February 21. Telling off your boss could result in your taking their job. Alternatively, you may decide to go into business for yourself. Writing a book, teaching a class, or guiding others on a personal learning curve could make you a respected authority in your field.

Capricorn
Dec 22 – Jan 20
Money to you means a secure and comfortable lifestyle. Moneymaking opportunities will arrive suddenly and disappear again just as quickly. Be prepared to move like lightning near February 7, when a solar eclipse helps you find a job related to broadcasting, electronics or research. Work that involves film, health care, or shipping is also favoured. A windfall in the form of an inheritance, insurance payment, alimony cheque or prize winning could arrive in the two weeks following August 1. Be prepared for a source of earned income to dry up after the lunar eclipse on August 16.

Aquarius
Jan 21-Feb 19
To you, money is a commodity to be spent, used and enjoyed. Earned income continues to be erratic and rather unpredictable this year, but you’ve become used to this state of affairs. Your best time for finding a job will be in the two weeks following March 7. Opportunities related to the film, food and drink, or healthcare industries are especially favoured. An inheritance, tax refund, or alimony payment could become available soon after August 30, but there seems to be heavy responsibilities and lots of strings attached to this little windfall. You may have to set it aside for bills, house payments, or a child’s education.

Pisces
Feb 20 - March 20
Pisceans tend to be either very good with money or very bad. Finding a new job is favoured in the two weeks following April 6. Be prepared, though, for this position to eat into your leisure time and bring added responsibilities and duties in its wake. Getting into an office romance could compromise your job so you’d be wise to resist temptation and concentrate on your work. An inheritance, alimony payment, insurance refund, or legal settlement could be awarded in the weeks following September 29, but you may have to divide these winnings among several other people.

Proper Timing
Proper timing the magick correspondences is key. This may start of with the correct day, month, and time that the spell should start and in some cases should end. The Moon phase is one of the keys to potency not to mention the success in Spell casting. Farmers and botanist have been using these timing to a huge degree for centuries.

The most popular correspondence many practitioners use is by using the 4 phases of the Moon. There are four phases of the Moon... New Moon, Waxing Moon, Full Moon and the Waning Moon. Each of these phases has a 7 day period for doing your Magical workings. The other popular timing is that of astrological positions of the planets to days of the week. For instance you wouldn’t want to cast a spell during a Mercury Retrograde for a grand announcement because during this time communication is very mis- communicated to during this time.

Ill Prepared
Just imagine having guest over at your new home for dinner and not only did you not think about having beverages, or you didn’t bother to stock the bathroom with the necessities. Need I say more? You may possibly need herbs, colored candles, and in using sympathetic magick more and likely an object that represents your spell objective such as a rose, a piece of clothing, lock of hair etc, oils and of course the proper spell. The herbs, colored candles and oils are specific ones that are associated with that type of spell. In other words they have a vibration that is related to the what you are trying to accomplish. For instance if you are doing a love spell you would not want to use green candles... you would want to use red candles and if you were doing a money spell you would not want to use red candles... you would use green. The Right Practitioner
Remember, not all practitioners are gifted equal. Just as you must shop around for a medical physician you should do the same for your magick practitioner until YOU feel comfortable. If you are trying to do a love spell, you must have the emotion of love for that person to project out into the universe in order for it to manifest. In other words you cannot be angry or depressed when doing the love spell. The same goes for Black Magic Hexes and so forth... you must be worked up into rage or a very hate filled mood to project hate at the Victim. You cannot expect a Hex to work on someone if you are in a elated state when performing the spell. Your mind must be in sync with the type of Spell you are doing. Plus you must believe in your work and not have doubts. How can you expect a spell to work if you don't believe in them (the practitioner) but you want to try them just to see if they do work. In many cases to hire a practitioner to do this work for you will cost you more than you’d pay to do it for your self as the spell is not for them put for you and the desire is then thus transferred. Last but not least and I must say out loud: Just because your practitioner or you start to study or have had some interest in paganism, vodou, kabalah etc. does NOT make you or the other person a guru at spell casting!!!! Again, it only comes with practice and dedication!

Consider the equation of Will Fate & Destiny’s Timing
This is one of the most trickiest of them all! Your “WILL” plays a huge part in any given spell and so does the “WILL” of others so do consider this notion. Now is it your Fate and Destiny to attain what you want? Well…let’s just say that all that WILL Be WILL Be. This is just too deep of a topic to go into one Newsletter but any wise practitioner knows how to deal with this would be dragon! Finally, how long does or should a spell take to work? Just know that the Universes and or spirits time does not adhere to our universal clock work here down on this planet earth. If done properly in time (undefined) your desire will manifest as the energy you have put out to do so…

The experience of the Practitioner
Remember that practicing magick is a building process. You won’t gain instant wizardry by going to the nearest bookstore or via the internet etc and casting a few spells from the book. Dabbling only begets you dabbled results. So start of with simple spells if you’re new to the practice. If you go to a practitioner make sure you interview them, and by all means don’t be afraid to ask for references. If you do decide to use a practitioner make sure your relationship is an open and honest one. One of my biggest peeves is a client that isn’t open about his or her case and denies the obvious.

The Energy of the Practitioner
If you want results, potency and success ENERGY is a is KEY! From protecting yourself during a ritual to casting a lustful love spell to boiling all the energy needed into Hex spell – without the energy there is no result – or at least the results you anticipate. Before you do any spell put every non magickal energy you know to get things in order to help as magick is not a band aid or blaster to put onto a problem!

Your Knowledge and Belief
You must believe in your magical workings not to mention understand what the hell you’re saying. Don’t give an oath or pray to a god, goddess or spirit that you aren’t even familiar with not to mention are unable to pronounce their name! You must have faith, be patient and you must believe but above all it’s more than helpful to know something about the origin or why the spell should work for you. So many of you want to try some spells first to see if they work and then you'll decide to believe. That's not the way to do it! If you do not believe in the Occult and Magick... then I suggest you stay away from it as Magick is a way of life.

The proper Spell...
Let's face it... you must have a good spell as much as you should have the proper prescription for your ailment! Some of the spells out there are pure crap and some are really good. Some spells may work better for you than others, so experiment and keep a journal of your workings so that you will know which ones work best for you and which ones don't. Also just because a spell doesn't work for you doesn't mean that it is no good... you may have not been the right state of mind or maybe you didn't have the proper materials. All the above things on this page come into play. So like I said... keep a journal and find the Spells that work for you!

Dedication
Some spells require several days and for you to be very loyal to the timing of when you re-enforce them daily else the spell is incomplete and will not work. This means from the start of preparation to even AFTER the spell has been cast. Many first time casters forget the oaths they’ve taken or the seriousness behind the words mentioned within their rituals during their spell casting. Dabbling will only get you in trouble not to mention unsatisfactory results.

One spell at a time
Sorry, mixing spells is not prohibited. Mixing materials from other spells used and finished is not going to work here as the energy from those items such as your candles and materials relating directly to the spell done last has that energy specifically as hopefully you had raised. I know you want Fame, Fortune, Beauty, love, Luck and what ever else you can get but everything takes time and energy.

TAURUS
April 20 - May 20

Taurus knows how to appreciate the finer things in life. They enjoy classic home and garden decorations. They don't mind the old standby - money. It really does talk to them. Other ideas: perfumes, aromatherapy, scarves, jewelry. They get good energy from things made of copper or anything sensual. Emerald green is a great color for them.Comfort features largely in the Taurus home and any gift that allows them to wallow in luxury will go over well.

Taurus rules the throat and vocal cords so music will always make a popular gift. A hamper full of tempting and delicious delicacies will also win you their approval. For women necklaces would be suitable. For either sex gifts that allow them to express their own creative natures would be appreciated.

GEMINI
May 21 - June 20

Gemini rules the mind and these people are usually driven to investigate and discover everything they come across. You could almost argue that there needs to be two of them to cover all the ground they do.Ruled by Mercury, they'd like anything silver or yellow. A Gemini might prefer a bicycle; no, make that made for two with his/hers cell phones!! CANCER
June 21 - July 22

Ruled by the Moon, Cancerians are very attached to their family and their homes. Cancer knits sweaters and makes fudge for the neighborhood. With your Cancer, it's time to go ahead and hand down the family silver or give them family photos for their desks in antique silver frames. They appreciate a romantic evening at home with a home-cooked dinner, candlelight and a fine wine. Pearls, silver, perhaps new cookware, or a scrapbook with memories of the two of you. Rest assured that your sentimental Cancer will appreciate the heirlooms and pass along the stories that go with them. They tend to be very close to their mothers or estranged from them. There tends to be no real middle ground with them in this area.

Virgos are the most picky however practical sign of the zodiac and are likely to appreciate gifts that they can use and that help to keep their life in order. Your picky Virgo is the organizer of the zodiac. How about color-coded coat hangers for the perfectly organized closet? No? CAPRICORN
December 22 - January 20

Capricorn has an appreciation for history and tradition. Plant a big hardwood tree for your Capricorn. Then put a solid gold knocker on their door engraved with their name, and title, as well. Their colors are navy, brown and black. Important stones for them are onyx, lapis and diamonds. Get your favorite Cappy an old fashioned pocket watch. Give them autobiographies of powerful people and mountain -climbing paraphernalia.They like things to be done in the correct manner. They are consistent and conscientious workers.

AQUARIUS
January 21 - February 19

Aquarians are known for being "out there".The Aquarian on your gift list will be easy. Just be sure it is the latest gadget, gizmo or electrical fad. PISCES
February 20 - March 20

The dreamy types and anything romantic or sentimental will appeal to them immensely. Send a contribution to the "save the baby seals fund" in their name. Well, what about a UFO vacation trip? Pisces will enjoy an aquarium (something similar to the one in Chattanooga should do), a stained glass window, a lily pond or a psychic reading. Their colors are purple, amethyst, and blue-green.

Photographic equipment and frames would make good gifts for the Pisces. Luxury bath oils and scents will appeal to the women as will perfume. Water accessories for surfing, diving or swimming should be well received. Pisces often have some musical talent as well so music and or musical equipment are likely to be a good choice.
