Nevertheless the reading proceeded surprisingly well and the tension began to subside. I felt the energy relax enough to catch a quick glimpse of what he was protecting. I told him I could see he felt an intense need to protect his core values and one of the ways he expressed that need was how he wore his hair.
His excited all approving yes came so fast I was swept away by his happiness and suddenly heard myself say.. "You've worn your hair short..."
Instantly he shouted back.. "No.. I wear my hair long!"
And hung up.
Admittedly, it was an exuberant moment that felled the locks and there's nothing like tripping over long hair and falling short with a reading. Even so.. it is confirmation that we are all human.

Have you had a prophetic dream or vision? My feeling is many of you reading this have seen the future. If you think you haven't.. well, chances are you have, but you didn't make note of it.
Premonitions can be as simple as knowing who is calling when the phone rings or that hunch to turn right instead of left and end up bumping into an old friend you had been thinking about. They happen to most of us frequently. So much so we pass them off as 'just a coincidence' and all is quickly forgotten. But more complex predictions can be quite a different matter.
Prophetic messages can be so deeply disturbing they are not easily shared and keeping it to yourself is a heavy burden to hold alone. Messages that are meant to be made public may take courage to share. Knowledge of a serious nature deserves some very serious consideration since the only way to authenticate the event is for the event to take place. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this prediction did not materialize. Does that make it an impossible dream? Or was the Universe just checking to see if the climate was good for exposure. Timing Is Everything.
None of my visions have given a specific date, but they've clearly shown the Time Period.. be it in the Present, Future or Past. It doesn't take a history buff to figure out you're in Ancient Egypt.

Early one morning I was sound asleep and deep in the midst of a dream when suddenly I woke up.. eyes wide open in disbelief. The scene was so vivid it felt like I could reach out and touch it. But it made absolutely no sense seeing a bright yellow school bus filled with soldiers drive by my home.
Why would soldiers be in a school bus? The question kept tumbling around in my thoughts as I went about the morning routine. It was early May and warm weather still a month away I put on a jacket to go outside and feed the dogs. I was living in the ruggedly steep foothills of the Sangre de Cristo mountains in northern New Mexico where my home overlooked the small village of Arroyo Hondo deep in the valley below.

It was a beautiful day. The deep blue sky framed the snow covered peaks draped with forest green. The air was crisp. I took a deep breath of pure enchantment.. then walked up the long steep driveway to feed Red Dawg, the main sentry. He kept watch on the gate that gave access to the two lane highway, adjacent to my home, that led to the valley below. The road snaked up the 500 foot climb from the valley then leveled out a bit by my gate giving drivers a chance to down shift before a long steep incline to the top of the ridge.
I walked back towards the house to feed my other dog Napoleon. Both were highway castaways that had found a home with me. Once they were taken care of I went inside for a cup of hot coffee and stoke the woodstove. Winter hangs on in the high country.
The morning stretched and yawned it's way through the day until noon. I'd been curled up with a good book long enough and needed some fresh air. I slipped my jacket on and went outside. Right away the smell of smoke caught my attention. I scanned the horizon and spotted a thin black trail slowly spiraling upward. It appeared to be near the village of San Cristobal and was probably someone burning trash. I finished my walk and went back to the house to read some more.
I was completely absorbed in the book.. oblivious to the world at large when the sound of a distant siren brought me back to reality. I went to the south facing windows and coming down the highway on the other side of the valley was a red fire truck. Instantly I thought about the thin trail of smoke and headed towards the door.
That thin trail of smoke was now billowing black angry clouds and I could hear the siren clearly as the fire truck lumbered up the road. I watched as the driver shifted gears to make the steep grade ahead and heard another siren coming down the other side of the valley. I went back inside and turned on the radio to listen to our local station. The news was sketchy.. a fire had started in the village of San Cristobal.
The once lazy Sunday vanished and was instead filled with anxious fear and the piercing chill of numerous sirens. The south wind had picked up considerably and drove the fire north towards the town of Questa. Numb with fear for those in it's path I sat by the dining room window watching the fire trucks drive by when out of the blue my dream came into view.

No siren.. just a bright yellow school bus filled with 'Hot Shots' or wildland firefighters specially trained for rugged terrain, who look very much like soldiers with all their gear on. I watched it labor up the highway aware of the danger and risk these brave Souls faced.
The fire raged for five days, fought by a total of 600+ firefighters, displaced 2000 people from their homes, burned 8,000 acres of the Carson Forest and 27 homes with no fatalities.
"When one of your dreams come true, you begin to look at the others more carefully." Anon.
Clearly this dream underscores the importance of being Aware in the Moment. But from a larger view it shows how the logical Mind relies on Beliefs and denies Heart centered Intuition. When we place our Trust in a belief that fails for lack of Integrity we begin to doubt ourself and fear follows. Unless we choose another way.
Intuition is the Light way in all the doom and gloom. It is our link to the Source of Creation that speaks to us as our Knowing within our Hearts. I am here to help you find your Light way in the dark of doubt and fear.

Magic happens when we write our Visions and Dreams. It gives substance to the memory by creating a framework of words that encourages the reluctant details to come forth simply by the Law of Attraction. Writing clears the Mind of what would otherwise continue to spin in your thoughts.. leaving space for a new perspective.
Sleeping memories release information only when it is appropriate and in perfect harmony with our own unique Path of Purpose. The details are not necessarily sequential.. making it a puzzle.
Every detail is a piece of the puzzle and every piece is important to see the whole picture so add 'Knew' details to what you have written as soon as possible. The Mind will play tricks with the most innocent details and they can be critical in making a connection.
Putting this into relative context with my Near Death Experience in 1959 what happened to me was considered an accident and I was very lucky. Life returned to normal and all was soon forgotten. The term Near Death Experience was unheard of back then and didn't come to my attention until the early 70's when the Metaphysical and Spiritual focus gained momentum and gave everyone a chance to explore a more expansive perspective. Nevertheless, my gifts played Hide 'n Seek for years teasing me with just enough to keep me engaged in the game. Then nine years after the N.D.E. my sleepy Intuition woke up with a splash.
My husband and I and our two young children were spending the weekend with college friends and their little ones who lived on the coast. We had lived in the lower desert of California long enough to set our sights on moving. We spent the day getting familiar with the area then headed back to their place to feed the kids and get ready for a rare fun night out.
It wasn't an easy schedule juggling four children under four years plus four adults in a two bedroom one bath apartment. There was dinner to prepare, baths to be had, and a terrific football game on TV. Our husbands would be glued to the tube so we decided I would take a bath first and she would make dinner for the kids.
The roar of the rushing bath water nearly drowned out the roar of the game as the bathroom transformed into a misty spa. I turned off the water and heard the announcer say.. "We'll be right back after this message." The guys voices trailed off into the kitchen as they rehashed the last play.
I, on the other hand, had drifted into 'Never Never Land' feeling the soothing warm water dissolve the tension away as I slipped into another space. I could see my best friend walking out her back door carrying a laundry basket. As she walked towards the clothesline the sidewalk suddenly began moving violently up and down tossing the old red bricks left and right. She fell down to her knees keeping her balance as best she could while the swaying clothesline gently came to a stop.. as did the Vision.
Mesmerized I finished bathing and began drying and dressing all the while watching an instant replay of the vision. I slipped back into reality hearing the roar of the game once more with shouts from the guys sitting on the sideline sofa.
Timing was not in my favor.. but the Vision persisted and insisted on being told when out of the blue red flags hit the ground and silence ensued. All three relaxed a bit as they waited for the details of the officials call and gave me an opening to say.. "I just saw the most incredible thing happen while taking a bath."
They looked at me dumbfoundly that clearly said WHAT without saying a word. I began telling the details watching their unchanged expression only deepen with disbelief and a touch of curiosity. The officials voice snapped them back to the game as I stood there feeling like I'd been hung out to dry.
It was a critical call that had all three of them on the edge of their seats with elbows on their knees.. lips mouthing please when the game was silenced and a bright red Emergency Broadcast flashed on the screen as a drone like voice said.. "This is an emergency broadcast. An earthquake has just occured in the lower desert."
Instantly all three heads turned and looked at me with eyes the size of silver dollars. The game resumed and their attention consumed, but nary a word was spoken. It was like it never happened.. but it did.
The reassurance it gave me renewed the bond of Trust with my Self and my Higher Self, the source of Intuitive Knowing. It sharpened my Senses and increased my awareness and was an invaluable asset balancing the roles of wife, mother, community volunteer and going to college at night. My plate was full with no space left for metaphysical pursuits.. but they followed me anyway.

Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes the reason is obvious sometimes not. Either way it may take years before reaching a full understanding of why something happens.
One of the best ways to gain insight is to keep a Vision and Dream journal. The sooner the details are recorded the better. Don't try to make sense of it.. just write what you remember as it happened and ignore the logical mind that argues with the illogical. And if it's years after the fact record it anyway.. just as you remember.
Magic happens when we write our Visions and Dreams. You see the subtle nuances of clues stay out of sight until we write the Letters that Spell the words that give them new Life. The earliest language began with signs, symbols and sounds and our primal sense still responds to them.
Traveling back in Time to 1959 I was just 15 when I had my first Near Death Experience. By all appearances the handfull of friends that saw the accident thought I was dead.. but then I'm getting ahead of the story.
There was a nip in the night air signaling an early Fall as we made our way to 'Jakes' house. Her parents wouldn't be home until later giving us a perfect place to 'hang out' in the front yard just in case an upper classman would drive by since we were all sophomores without wheels. A single lonely street light gave an eery glow to an otherwise dark neighborhood, but it didn't dampen our Spirits.
We heard the car long before seeing Dottie's Nash Rambler pull up and park and finally silence the broken muffler. We clustered near the rear of the car. Seizing opportunity I decided to sit up on the trunk. OMG.. did we feel big just being close to a real set of wheels.. all the while imagining our own. All at once our voices raised in animated excitement punctuated with huge rounds of laughter as we dreamed our car visions outloud.
No one noticed Dottie getting into her car until she started the engine. Our voices fell silent and then raised to a higher decible that became a shouting match as Dottie gunned the engine just before putting it into gear. She took off with a roar drowning out all sound save the muffler. I kept thinking she's just teasing, but she couldn't hear our frantic screams to stop or see everyone running behind us doing their best to catch up.
The dim street light got lost in the dark as I watched my friends disappear with it. I remember looking up at the still green leaves on the canopy of trees as a cold gust of wind set them in motion. I could clearly hear the crisp sound of the leaves chattering and then complete silence. The street had morphed into a taunting black river daring me to jump in and join it. I looked at my left hand and saw my fingers splayed wide.. my nails desparately trying to grip cold hard metal. They were beginning to slip.
At that very moment.. I heard a strong gentle Voice say.. "Let Go" and I did.. instantly.
The next thing I remember is my girlfriend 'Jake' bending over me.. her face red and contorted with panic as she started screaming my nickname.. "Tricka.. Tricka.. are you dead.. Tricka."
It was so funny. I started laughing and yelling at her. "No.. Jake! I'm not dead."
Suddenly I realized she couldn't hear me and instantly I went Out of Body and watched from overhead. There I was laying on the street knocked out cold and presumed dead.
I could see a car a block away driving towards my friends waving to stop. The driver was a high school senior football player. He got out and picked me up and carried my body to Jake's house. He laid me down on the living room floor as Jake screeched.. "Don't get blood on my mom's carpet she'll kill me." and raced to the kitchen. I watched her pull open a cupboard drawer and grab some tea towels then walk back to the living room and put them under my head. She went over to the old black rotary wall phone and called my Mother.
At that point I don't recall anything until I see my Mom standing at the front door ringing the door bell. She was wearing a brown woolen skirt and a matching brown blouse. What happened after that is another mystery. I have no memory of going to the hospital or seeing a doctor or having 13 stitches in the back of my head. But in the middle of the night I woke up and opened my eyes to blinding White Light and heard what sounded like an elderly man groaning and moaning in a room down the hallway and I thought.. "I must have died."
I don't remember anything after that.. not leaving the hospital or going home or talking to anyone about the accident.. with the exception of one comment. I have no idea who said it or when, but apparently I hit the road flat on my back and bounced three Times.
I made a full recovery health wise and returned to leading a normal Life. My intuitive gifts did not leave me.. they simply subdued their Presence until a need called them into action. But then nine years after the fall I had a Vision in a most unusual place and forty years passed before realizing it initiated a full Awakening of my Intuitive Gifts.
This was not my first paranormal experience.. my childhood was filled with voices and visions. I was blessed with a Loving and Heart Centered family that nurtured and encouraged my gifts. All of these things kept my Knowing fully intact alive and well. I have always felt my Life Purpose flows in harmony with a stream of Souls whose Soul Purpose is to assist others as the world struggles with our Transition to Higher Consciousness.
