I just love Halloween! Out of all the holidays this one is especially meaningful to psychics because our connection to the “other” world is heightened. On Samhain, a veil is pierced that allows the spirits from the other side to whisper into our ears if you listen closely. Also, it is a time for spooks, ghouls, ghosts, goblins, and just good old fashioned “trick or treating”.

A Bit of History:

Although the tradition of guising and wearing seasonal costumes stretch back to the Middle Ages, the first appearance of “trick or treating” (warning of the homeowner/resident of a trick if a treat is not given) began in 1911 in Kingston, Ontario. Eventually the practice spread to other parts of Canada and ultimately made its first American appearance in Chicago in 1920. By the 1930’s, the practice of trick or treating became a widespread practice in the United States, and eventually permeated the media in 1939.

In the 21st century, Halloween and “Trick or Treating” remains popular, and each year more events occur to celebrate the magical Eve. Over the years, candy and other assorted edible goodies have been created specifically to cater to children who dress up in costumes and visit neighborhood doors to collect their loot. Inside bags across North America, assorted chocolates, lollypops, candy corn, and the occasional piece of fruit are enjoyed by many young and old. However, in certain cases “the trick” might be played on those individuals who are ‘souling’ (the medieval practice of the poor going door to door on Hallowmas receiving food in return for prayers for the dead) when they receive unusual treats.

The Fun Begins:

Ashton Kutcher (@aplusk) recently put a link up on his twitter page, which I found incredibly fun. The candy images that were used in a Houston blog were just freaky, creepy, and hysterically hilarious. I am reposting the images here with my “psychic” commentary.

Materials Needed: A bag of candy received on Halloween.
Instructions: Divide out all your candy and see what you have received. You might want to place them in separate categories so that you can make sure you do not miss any of the tricks from the spirits, which have special meanings.

Ask your bag of candy a question. Any question. Do you wish to know about your love life, career, or finances? Any questions that you would normally ask a psychic. Write your question down on a piece of paper.

No Noted Anomalies:

If you receive a bag of candy that has no anomalies, this means that the spirits are at peace with you. This year they plan to bless you with the abundance of certainty and prosperity. You will find your life to be very sweet and depending on the amount of candy in your bag – very rich! However, too much involvement in matters of the physical could lead to an upset stomach – especially if you over indulge in the chocolate tasting candies! On the divinatory level, receiving tons of chocolate means that lots of hot romantic activity will occur in your future, but if your bag is filled with more hard candy objects the next year will be focused on refining your personal matters such as business and career.

Spooky Nerds:

If you receive a box or boxes of Spooky Nerds in your bag, then the spirits have provided you with a special blessing this year. Spooky Nerds are a powerful love symbol. You may find an interesting individual – possibly with taped glasses and a pocket protector in your future. If this person enters your life, take a second notice! Let me give you the progression. Nerdy guy leads to high SAT scores. High SAT Scores leads to MIT. MIT leads to Computer Programming Job. Computer Programming Job leads to being the CEO of a High End Software business like Microsoft. Never judge anything by its outer shell, on the inside you might have just found your gold mine. On a divinatory level, receiving a box of Spooky Nerds means that love — although in an unusual package – may enter into your life. If you are currently in a relationship, the message from the spirits is to dress your boyfriend/husband up in more nerdy ways – it just might rub off!

Gummy Body Parts Candy:

If you receive a package of Gummy Body Parts in your bag, the spirits are giving you a direct warning. You should proceed with caution, as an unusual individual in your neighborhood is thinking about you. Depending on what body part you receive will reveal what he/she is thinking about. Although this may creep you out knowing that others are thinking about you, it might not be all that bad. It might be that he/she is admiring certain parts of your anatomy – brains, fingers, lips, limbs or teeth. On a divinatory level, Gummy Body Parts are a sign from the spirits for you to horde what you have. Keep everything close to you, because someone may be after it – especially if you receive the Hannibal Lector Gummy Body Parts edition! Now, how about some fava beans and a nice Chianti?

Zit Poppers:

Oh Zits! Remember them? They were those awkward red things on your face when you were a teenager, usually the result of eating too much candy or greasy foods. In other words, creations from God so that teenagers could not enjoy life! If you think about it, they are natures abstinence program for many, so we should not view them as all bad. Receiving a package of Zit Poppers in your Halloween bag though is a very good thing! It reflects that new things are on the horizon for you. This could be either in love, career, or money. Since zits are a reflection of an early stage of life development before a situation comes into full adult form, you should embrace your zit poppers candy and cherish and nurture it further. On a divinatory level, Zit Poppers reflects the birth of something new, something coming to fruition in your life, and even the possibility of pregnancy. However, if you are under the age of 21, that will not come for at least 6 to 7 years or the spirits will be quite angry! Never tick a spirit off, remember Whoopi Goldberg from Ghosts? They might come to your house and sing songs all night – annoying the heck out of you.

Box of Boogers:

I know this is completely revolting. If you get this candy immediately check under your tables, desks, and chairs – anywhere occupied by young kids – and see if any crusty objects exist. If you do find some objects then you are blessed for years to come. Boogers are great when you receive them. They represent changes and negative circumstances from your life fading. Although difficulties from the past may still be apparent if you receive this candy, the spirits will make sure that your problems fade and evaporate as long as you pick them one at a time. On the divinatory level, receiving a box of boogers means that your problems and situations are trapped in a box. If you take this box and immediately get rid of it, you will find your problems quickly evaporating from your life. However, if you choose to eat these boogers, then I can snot be responsible for any problems that may occur. You have been warned!

Scab A Roni:

For some reason, when I was analyzing this package, dreams and visions of San Francisco — Oh, wait – that’s Rice A Roni! On the candy label, I noticed that there were 16 scabs that were available. 16 in many cultures, numerologically, and even in the Tarot reflect the tearing down of existing structures and something new is replaced. This could be ideas, belief systems that you have held onto, and even circumstances in your life that come in the form of disruption, yet give way to something good or better. In the Tarot, this is the Tower Card, and if you notice on the packaging it looks like 3 towers of scabby candy. On a divinatory level, when you receive Scab A Roni this means that circumstances that you have held onto well past their sell by date, will come crumbling down. You might even pick them off yourself, by looking at the areas of your life that you need to change. Remember, scabs are made of coagulated blood which is our most powerful life force. Once your scabs are torn off, new opportunities will come about that are much more beneficial to you.

Conclusion:

These are just the known creepy candy that I could find! I am sure that there are some unknown and some yet created or discovered. One of the problems in writing a blog is being concise enough to be informative, yet not overwhelming the reader with information overload. This is daunting, when dealing with a complex subject like Mercury Retrograde (now known as Mercury Rx). Regardless, on September 7, 2009 astrology, websites across the internet will begin to echo the reminder that “the trickster planet” has gone retrograde. I’ve written volumes about the effects of Mercury Rx – what I intend to explore here is the natural process of reflection inherent in the configuration to provide deeper understanding of our natural rhythms of life.

What is Mercury? For those that do not have an astrological language, Mercury represents our understanding of life. He is the planet of education, communication, discussion, documents, papers, television, radio and the information you search for on the internet. In Greek Mythology, he is known as Hermes the swift footed communication God and the protector of commerce and industry. Unlike the other planets, Mercury is rather unique by appearing to move backwards 3-4X per year. The retrogradation process is notorious for causing problems with communication, technical problems, plan hassles, and it is not wise to begin anything new or make vast changes during this period.

The Greek Hermes was a two-fold deity as astrological Mercury rules the two signs of Gemini and Virgo. On one hand, Hermes (Mercury) is the messenger of the God’s and the God of crossroads (periods in our life, where we do not know what decisions to make?) and mental connections. He appears in our lives when we suddenly understand something with new clarity and new comprehension. However, Hermes was one of the few deities (along with Hecate and Persephone) that were allowed to traverse the boundaries between the upper world (consciousness) and the underworld (unconsciousness). In his underworld guise, he serves two primary functions. He ushers the souls of the dead down to their final resting place, and in a few instances used necromancy to bring the souls of the dead back to the land of the living. His role of the psycho-pomp, I believe gives us the deepest understanding of Mercury Rx.

In astrology, we can take Mercury’s passage through the zodiac as a cyclical period. Every so often, Mercury turns around and moves the other direction creating a more introverted tone to the mainly extroverted planet. Since I believe astrology is instructional, Mercury sends us a message that we need to turn “inward” and review the past period of direct motion. (To an extent, I believe all the planets when they go retrograde urge us to reflect on certain areas of our lives colored by the sign the planet goes retrograde in) Mercury’s last direct motion was from May 30, 2009 – September 5, 2009.

Activity 1: Get out a piece of paper. Write down the events and circumstances that you have found meaningful or distressful from May 30, 2009 – September 5, 2009. Explore as many areas as you can. Take a look at the significant areas of your life – financial, professional, and relationships, and write down how you feel about these particular areas. What did you experience? Once you are done writing, fold up the paper and continue reading.

Another tool we can use to amplify Mercury Rx is through the tarot Major Arcana card of Judgement. One of the best decks that I have seen that conveys the deepest layers of the Judgement card is the Mythic Tarot. The card makes use of Hermes role as the psycho-pomp, at what appears to be the entrance to the underworld (unconscious). Beneath him are the sarcophagi with three mummified figures reaching up towards Hermes. Many astrologers consider Mercury Rx to be a time where unresolved issues from the past come back to be resolved. Likewise, I believe the Judgement card represents rewards for past efforts, and a deep understanding that we ourselves “create” our own future through the actions and decisions that we make in life. In many ways, we truly ‘reap what we sew’.

Taking ownership of our current circumstances is a powerful healing mechanism. It allows us to take control of our lives, and provides us with the opportunity to make better choices and decisions that create our future. Mercury Rx can provide us a cyclical period to examine our past actions, behaviors, upsets and joys and understand the deeper side of our personality. We may find parts of ourselves that may need improvement, parts we need to work on, and parts we really like. We can use this time to make great inner change! Looking at the Judgment card once again, we can visualize the mummified rags on the corpses as symbols for the parts of our lives we would like to change. Underneath those rags of the past, might be the butterflies for our future tomorrow.

Activity 2:

Take a look at the figure of the Judgement card for a few moments. Now close your eyes. Imagine yourself in the room with Hermes. Talk to him and ask him for assistance in helping you understand the aspects of your life that you would like to change. Take note of any feelings or messages that you may have received.

Activity 3:

Take out your piece of paper in Activity 1. Re-read it and make note of how you feel about the past few months. What do you believe you need to change? Print up the black and white version of the Judgement card. Now, get out a pack of crayons or colored pencils and color in the figure of the Judgment card. Use any colors that you wish to reflect your current situation, and the events of the past few months. Use the three figures in the sarcophagi to reflect areas of your life that you have new insight about, or wish to change. Take a look at the figure you have created. Close your eyes. Imagine yourself in the room with Hermes. Talk to him and ask him for assistance in helping you make the changes that you need to make in your life. Ask Hermes to provide you with the information necessary or tools he can provide you with to assist you in your tasks. Take note of any feelings or messages that you may have received.

 

The moon this week begins in the sign of Pisces, where we will notice a bit of confusion, possibly low energy, and the need to relax and enjoy.  As the last sign of the zodiac, Pisces involves winding things down – and our focus moves to our place within the larger scheme of things.  The rest of the week; however, should prove to be more energetic, and more self focused as the Moon moves into the personal signs of Aries and Taurus.  Since, astrology is an instructive language now is the time for you to focus on you, and what you want and need out of your life.

The event of the week occurs on Monday as Jupiter the great benefic goes retrograde in the sign of Aquarius at 3:51 AM.  Jupiter will remain retrograde until October 12^th.  Frequent readers of this blog will remember that retrograde planets tend to work in an “inner” way.  Since Jupiter is the planet of philosophy, higher understanding, luck, gambling, and expansion, when it goes retrograde so does its energy.   Often times, this retrograde will create self doubt about our lives and our futures.   We can use this time beneficially to explore new meanings for ourselves, and to figure out what really has meaning for us.  Many times this can happen by events occurring in our lives, which get us to explore deeper meanings in our lives.  In many ways, we are not being honest with where we are at the moment, and Jupiter being retrograde will force us to see areas where we may have blinded ourselves to reality. 

Turn your eyes towards Wednesday as all the major planetary aspects occur on this day.  The Sun in Gemini will trine Jupiter, Neptune, and Chiron in Aquarius which allows us to open up to our social groups and society in a manner that makes us feel more comfortable with ourselves.  We may find ourselves more “alive” and shining brightly in social groups and situations, so schedule in some time with friends or your support groups, because you can find the day rather rewarding.  

Also, the Sun on Wednesday will square Uranus.  This aspect is tricky and tends to bring forth surprises especially on a global level.  Circumstances and situations can change on a dime, and often when we are not looking.   This aspect is similar to the “Tower” card in the Tarot, as it forces us to change our beliefs about things we believed to be real or true.   Since this is a waxing square, past family problems which have slowly been building can erupt during this time.  However, what remain are new ideas that are more innovative and defined.

This week we have the Full Moon on Sunday, which is pretty interesting because it is in the foreign affairs oriented sign of Sagittarius.  This could make the news of next week interesting to say the least.  Keep your eyes on foreign situations, especially forth coming information about that Air France Plane that disappeared last week.    In addition, we could have some further details emerge about the state of the economy (since Saturn is involved), which occurred during the months of April and May released.   Remember, Saturn did turn direct in the middle of May, so we should not see the results of things starting to improve until the summer months.  However, Saturn being direct will bring forth improvement economically on both the national and personal levels. 

Sagittarian Full Moons are usually rather energetic and present you with a time to expand your horizons.   As we move into the preview before summer, we can begin to be exciting by all things “summery”.   The rest of the week the moon will move through the transpersonal signs, which directs our focus to the bigger picture, what is out there in the world, and not what is mine or ours.  This is a great time for you to do charity work, give to others, and broaden your awareness of the world and those who are in it. 

On Monday, there is a beautiful aspect between Venus and Pluto, I call this the “sexual attractor” aspect, and you may find yourself more amorous than you normally are.   Venus and Pluto always bring forth mysterious fascinations and we can find ourselves intensely and in some cases compulsively attracted to people are around us.  This is a very deeply emotional and powerful aspect, and it reflects a time where we should consider our own personal power in relationships and use this time to make changes and choices in the future.

Our big weather maker this week, will come with an eerie dejavu feeling about it.  Mercury, which is now direct and moving forward, will aspect the planets it aspected two weeks ago.  So, Uranus, Neptune, Chiron, and Jupiter will all be aspected within the period of 24 hours.  There is a very dismayed feeling about this aspect.  I have noticed, when working with consultations charts, that when this aspect is heavily accentuated that the person in question feels very dark about life.  There is almost an inability to see the forest between the trees or the light at the end of the tunnel.  We feel dismayed when we are in a situation where life is not working out well for us.  However, we can use this period to ask ourselves some very serious questions including what aspects of our lives are not working out well for us, so that we can begin the process and explore (ruled by Mercury) these areas of our lives.  I truly feel that by asking ourselves these simple questions that they create the beginning process of deeper understanding and healing of the situations around us. 

Finally, Mercury will move out of earth Taurus and into the airy and mercurial sign of Gemini, which Mercury is the ruler.   Mercury will remain in Gemini until July 3^rd.  Mercury briefly entered this sign early this spring, when it dipped into Gemini before it turned retrograde at 1 degree and change.  Now that Mercury is fully in the sign, we will notice ourselves intensely curious about everything – and probably everybody.  This placement is very social as the only way to ascertain facts and opinions is through interaction with others.   Mercury rules talking and it expresses itself best through the sign of Gemini.  You will notice your mind being just a little bit sharper and your ability to form facts and make fast conclusions at an all time high.   This is a great placement for learning new things, taking new classes, or debating your opinions with others, as Mercury understands life in the sign of Gemini by learning a little bit about everything.

Cosmic Weather Forecast for the week ending June 6, 2009

So, I am sure that many of you are leaping over for joy today as Mercury retrograde came to an end during the evening hours last night.  Not so fast, Mercury still has to travel to 2 Gemini before we get out of its shadow period, and on its way it will re-aspect the triple conjunction of Jupiter, Chiron, and Neptune bringing forth the height of the retrograde period, which occurred last week.  During the shadow period, we should stay concentrated on cleaning up any of the debris that might be in our way as a result of the last 3 weeks.   Mercury will move out of shadow on June 14.

As far as your week is concerned, the Moon will be in the social signs this week reflecting more of an urge for us to go out and make contacts with other people whether that is socially or romantically.   This is a great week for romantic improvement as Venus will sextile Jupiter, Chiron, and Neptune providing us with opportunities to expand our social circle and have a little bit of fun.  Combined with the Mars trine to Pluto, we could use much to our advantage this week and have the drive and determination to accomplish much.

Both Venus and Mars move into the earth sign of Taurus this week.   If you have a predominance of earth in your chart, that would be Taurus, Virgo, or Capricorn, this could create an easy harmonious period for you through the month of June.  Circumstances that upset you or were obstacles in May can turn around in a rather pleasing way for you.   Since, Venus and Mars are going to conjunct in June; you could find your love life heating up over the summer.

On Friday, Sun will square Saturn, which could be a bit of a drag as we head into the weekend, especially on the business level.  Saturn tends to restrict and put obstacles in the path of the Sun, which can be frustrating to say the least.  However, Saturn also gives us the ability to get things done and get it done right.

The Moon will be in Sagittarius next weekend, so get out there and have a bit of fun.  

The Moon continues to move through Pisces until 5:43 PM EDT, where it will go void of course.  Avoid making any plans, signing documents, are starting something new until the Moon moves into Aries in the early evening hours.  Overall it appears that Tuesday will be a rather conflict free day, as the Moon’s final aspects will be a sextile to Mercury Rx and the Sun.  Sextiles provide us with opportunities to increase communication with those around us and encourage interaction with our social circles.  Spend the afternoon reconnecting to your personal support group, and take advantage of the moment.

During the evening hours the Moon will move out of emotional Pisces and into fiery and competitive Aries.   Aries is the beginning of the zodiacal signs, and with all beginnings the Aries moon offers us a surge of energy that is often impulsive, direct, and cares little about others that may be around us.  Through the evening hours go after exactly what you want, but try to be considerate of the needs and feelings of others.  In addition, avoid situations and circumstances that could provoke your fighting spirit.

Whenever the Moon travels through the transpersonal signs there is an intense need for us to surround ourselves with people that we connect with on a larger level, yet often this makes us more vulnerable to the actions and motivations of others.  Since the Moon continues its trek through collective Pisces, we need to establish firm boundaries with others.  During this lunar transit, there is often a blurring between where one person begins and the other person ends.  However, this transit is highly empathic to the needs of others, compassionate, and highly intuitive.

Mercury continues its retrograde motion through the sign of Taurus and will conjoin with the Sun.   There is a great need for exchanges, talking, and analyzing, but with Mercury being retrograde we need to be careful of our “investment” with the information being given.  This is amplified by the combination not being known for its “incredible” listening skills.   Take all information receive today with a grain of salt, and keep your eyes pinned on the end of June, where information received during this conjunct may either change, or be influenced by new information received.

This weekend will prove to be filled with much energy and loads of excitement as the Moon travels through Social Aquarius and indulgent Pisces.   Circumstances may not be as they seem with the Sun squaring (obstacles) Jupiter, Chiron, and Neptune and sextiling (opportunities) Uranus.  I refer to this combination as the “Las Vegas” aspect because there is a tendency to override boundaries to experience the feelings of risk, exhilaration, and momentary rewards.  However, after the dust has settled and the last glass of Champaign has been consumed, we are left with feelings of insecurity, confusion and self doubt.   Use this weekend to have fun, but keep in mind the laws of the “physical world,” and its boundaries, regulations, and laws upon us.   There is nothing wrong with kissing lady luck, but falling in love with her could prove to be deadly.

On a lighter note, Saturn which has been retrograde since December 30^th will turn direct on Saturday evening.  Many of the heated issues regarding the economy escalated during this retrograde cycle amplified by its continued on again off again opposition to Uranus.   This planetary combination is known for upsetting ideologies which are no longer beneficial.  However, Saturn turning direct may prove to provide a bit of relief financially and allow new doors to open.   Regardless, the summer months prove to be a beneficial period and breath of relief against the backdrop of the first half of the year.

After a week of intensive and volatile energies the new week begins with the Moon moving into sensitive and gentile ‘Pisces’.   Emotions and receptivity to others will be heightened today, but the lunar aspects are positive creating an atmosphere of ease and a deeper understanding of the needs of others.

We can utilize the energies by being creative, understanding, and possibly refocus ourselves towards our inner path and spiritual journey.  In addition, this is a good day to be in the company of others enjoying our connection to those around us.  Since there are no planetary aspects today, we should find things calm, peaceful, and relaxing.

Should we batten down the hatches and ride out the storm, or is the prospect of hiding under our beds the best course of action?   As I have reported elsewhere, one of the most dynamic and energetic aspects of the year occurs today.   The difficulty with Mars conjoined with Uranus is its impulsivity, reactive nature, and disregard for the thoughts, feelings, or the effects it has on others.  The aspect is akin to pouring gasoline on a forest fire, and unfortunately the aspect tends to create separations, break ups, heightened anxieties, and all out explosions.

I have received calls and emails questioning whether or not there is anything positive I could report about this aspect.  Unfortunately, the answer is no!  However, the aspect tends to erupt out of the areas of our lives where we may be experiencing frustration and stagnancy.   We may find those areas of life triggered today by Mars/Uranus, which ultimately opens the door for new opportunities, expanded insight, and heightened inspiration towards a better future.

The Adventures of Sagittarius continue as the Moon continues her third day in the sign.   Although most of us will be feeling carefree and joyous, our friends that are in relationships may begin to feel the pinch with the Moon closing in on its final aspect to retrograde Venus.  Sagittarius would prefer not to deal with such words as structure, commitment, and responsibility.  After all, its ruler Jupiter or Zeus in mythology was never known to keep his zipper up, therefore the insecure square between Moon and Venus propel people quickly to the real world as relationship tensions begin to rise.

The only planetary aspect (not including lunar aspects) of the day is the minor semisextile between the Sun and Uranus.  Minor issues surrounding finances could arise today as circumstances percolate to the surface.  In addition, your vision to create something new or give birth to a new idea or revelation could be equally rewarding.  With all Uranian aspects expect the unexpected is the order of the day.

Prepare yourself for a week of nonstop action, as the energy begins with a bang, and does not slow down until the weekend.  The Moon begins in energetic, enthusiastic, and adventurous Sagittarius.   We may find ourselves focused on expanding our awareness, and looking for new opportunities.  Try to keep away from doing anything restrictive or routine, so that you can keep your frustrations down to a minimum.

All the fun and energy of the day will draw to an end, as the Moon will square Saturn around 9:04 pm.   This combination can make us feel quite restrictive and unable to express our feelings.   This aspect can make us feel quite anxious, overwhelmed, and annoyed.   We may want to spend the evening hours alone, enjoying simplicity, and taking care of ourselves.   Most often, despite our urge towards excitement and adventure, the slow and steady road is often the easiest to travel.

Cerebral Mercury moves out of quick spirited and temperamental Aries and into stable and structured Taurus.  This will shock the fire signs, who have experienced a few weeks of quickened intuition, insight, and a steady diet of creative inspiration, and it will soothe the earth signs that will begin to feel like they are living on more solid ground.   Mercury in Taurus is concerned with understanding life through a process of forming facts from firm conclusions based on experience rather than intuition and feelings.  Mercury gives us the message that we need to turn more towards the rational and proceed in a more conservative, cautious, and constructive manner.   In addition, Taurus rules money and our finances.  We can take advantage of this energy by creating a budget and by cutting out wasteful spending.    

As Mercury changes signs, the Moon moves into its full phase.  The full Moon is a continuation of the New Moon process that began in late March.  The Sun and Venus both being in Aries, has made life concerns to be about “ourselves” with very little focus on others.  This Moon phase brings to the surface the issues surrounding our relationships in a deeper capacity, as a result of understanding ourselves.   As a result, those that are around us will have more of an understanding of who we are and what motivates us.  Take time out today to be more compassionate, understanding, and empathic to those we love that are in need.  We can build a bridge between ourselves and others, which will give hope and inspiration to the isolated, wounded, and challenged.

Wednesday, we move out of the realm of order, service, and discipline into the realm of relationships and partnerships.  The Moon moves out of Virgo and into Libra at 11:22pm EDT on Tuesday, and spends the entire day in Libra as we prepare for the Full Moon on Thursday.   The Moon in Libra expresses feelings in a refined civilized manner, and avoids conflicts at all costs.  While the Moon moves through the sign of the scales we will notice the need to bring harmony into our personal lives, and experience life in an ethical and fair manner.

Despite the Moon being placed in such a gentile sign, she opposes Venus and squares Pluto early in the transit.   Difficult aspects to both Venus and Pluto may bring up feelings of insecurity, confusion, and intensity into our relationships with others throughout the day.   The dual planetary combination (Venus/Pluto) can bring forth obsessions (Pluto) and addictions (especially to food) as a form of escaping the emotional turbulence of the aspects.  Today, we should utilize the most positive dimension of Pluto, and attempt to understand ourselves and our emotions on a more profound and deeper level.  This will allow us to experience our own feelings, and help reclaim our own power.

 

Tuesday morning we wake up to a lovely aspect of cerebral Mercury sextiling creative and imaginative Neptune. This aspect grants us the gift of sensitivity to others, artistic expression, and a sharpened intuition. Listening to our “gut” is imperative, as the aspect requires us to move away from apparent facts and reasoned logic to give space to spirit and intuitive hunches. This is a great day to explore our inner world through meditation, relaxation, and service to the larger picture rather than the apparent world around us. Enjoy the morning hours, as the Moon will go void of course in the early afternoon hours on the East Coast, and late morning hours on the West. Try to avoid making major decisions or choices during the void period, as they tend to unravel and become undone. The Moon’s last aspect is an opposition to disruptive Uranus, which will make us feel a little restless, insecure, impulsive and irritated through the remainder of the day. Moreover, the Moon in hard aspect to Uranus can provoke difficulties in both friendships and relationship matters. The Moon will move out of Virgo and into relationship oriented Libra during the very late evening hours.
