QUESTION: I am just curious to know..should we ignore the injustice done to us and focus on ascension? Where and how do we differentiate between our ego and doing the right thing?

ANSWER: First of all, you are not a victim....the first step of ascending into higher consciousness is recognizing that you are a Creator God/Goddess, and all things are drawn to you for a variety of reasons. Whatever is happening could be from past life karma, your thoughts and beliefs could be negative ~ and therefore could draw certain experiences to you OR you may have even drawn a particular experience to you to learn from so you could advance your soul. Perhaps one of your biggest lessons is learning to love and value yourself enough so you can stand in your own power ~ no longer allowing people to be injust to you.


This is the toughest part for people to understand and also to accept~ our ego's will get darn right upset about accepting this truth. The ego will not accept responsibility! It loves to blame and project all of it's negativity onto other people and say "THEY" are the ones who are injust. If we are "really" honest with ourselves, and self-introspective, we will discover the inner workings and lessons that continue to repeat themselves in our lives. It is "your" consciousness that creates "your" reality.....your consciousness is the totality of your being ~ conscious, unconscious, subconscious and superconscious.....they all work together to create your current life experience. So no, we can not ignore the injustices that have been done to us. In order to ascend in consciousness we must first accept responsibility for part of their creation ~ as BOTH people are choosing to learn lessons from these kind of negative interactions, and we also must learn how to transcend these negative behavioral patterns and thoughts that continue to draw negative experiences to us to learn from.

We do not have to grow and learn through negative experiences....we can learn through loving interactions but for the most part....not many of us have gotten to a place of pure positive creation just yet. Whenever you jump right into blame, judgment, criticism and an increase of negative mind chatter about a particular event.....recognize you have fallen out of alignment with your higher wisdom and have fallen into the traps of the ego. If you want to advance your soul and align yourself with truth.....catch yourself and say to the ego....I see you, and I command the God within me to come forward. Accept responsibility for this creation, and ask yourself questions....how do I feel, why have I drawn this lesson to me, what am I suppose to learn, where has the focus of my energy been lately ~ has it been positive. The ego projects everything outside of itself and focuses on the other person....what they should and should not do. The soul wants us to look within our very own being to see what needs to be addressed and healed within us. The inner path (soul) leads to salvation, the outer path of projection (ego) leads to more chaos, drama, pain and illusion.

BIG QUESTION ~ If you don't accept responsibility for your life.......then who is going to? We must learn to accept responsibility for everything that happens in our lives. If we are not happy with our current situations then it is only "the self" that can create the change. In order to change our future we will have to change our now ~ so if there are people, habits, thoughts, distorted beliefs, behavioral patterns, activities, jobs, living circumstances etc.....that we feel are injust, then we have the power and the responsibility to make changes for ourselves that will create the life we truly want to experience.

Venus in retrograde motion is supposed to mean that our love lives enter a fated period where we may relive past life experiences in order to sort out karmic issues. Old friends or lovers may reappear and there may be more difficulty in giving and receiving love and affection. As Venus also rules money, it’s traditionally thought that Venus retrograde is not an ideal time for investing or buying luxury items. To get a more accurate picture we must look in more detail to the aspects and fixed stars in relation to Venus, from when she enters the retrograde zone, to when she leaves. Venus retrograde is not as common as Mercury retrograde, and only last about six weeks every twenty months.

Venus Stationary Retrograde May 2012

Venus stations retrograde on 15 May 2012 at 23°59′ Gemini. Venus is conjunct the fixed star Alnilam, the star in the middle of Orion’s Belt. It will also leave the retrograde zone on this star. The theme of pain again comes up, as Venus with Alnilam gives “Trouble through love affairs, scandal, enemies among women“. But the Chiron theme means the outcome is healing. And we see this with the aspect in this chart, Venus trine Saturn. It’s not exciting or glamorous, but serious and sober. Saturn is our teacher, so we are learning about love and affection.

The trine to Saturn suggests progress in this next phase of the retrograde cycle, through to the direct station on June 27. More understanding, more commitment. Commitment to long term relationships seems very important here, that is the message from this aspect, and the fixed stars have been pointing to the pain resulting from infidelity. Saturn on the most fortunate of stars Spica, is “favorable for domestic matters“. The work on the pain and the hurt is not over, we can see this in the chart above with Mars opposite Chiron. Some difficult issues to deal with, confronting and involving some arguments or resentment. The path does lead to healing and transformation through open communication. This is shown by the grand trine with Mercury, Mars and Pluto

On May 27 Venus conjuncts Bellatrix for the second time, so we may revisit any of those painful issues again regarding affairs or love triangles from the past. It may also be that an old flame appears on the scene again. Venus conjunct Mercury on the 1st of June at 8 Gemini really puts the focus on communication in relationships. We will be able to fully express our affections with loving words. Interactions should be frank and open, and with a square from Mars approaching, there could be some heated moments.

On June 5 we do get Venus square Mars, feelings should be intense, with a mixture of love and hate, sexual passion and desire. There may be some conflict, but Venus on the fixed star Rigel is more supportive of love rather than hate, Venus on this star gives a “good and influential marriage especially if female“.

June 6 is a very special day with Sun conjunct Venus. Not just any old conjunction, this one is a rare transit of Venus, where Venus is seen as a black dot passing in front of the Sun. This is the last transit of Venus for over 100 years, Venus is retrograde, it comes just after the June 4 lunar eclipse, and is mentioned in the Cherokee Rattlesnake Prophecy. Sun conjunct Venus is the personification of love and beauty, love is definitely in the air today, more than at any other time. Meeting friends, spending time with lovers, and chatting up potential lovers are all favored.

Venus is conjunct Aldebaran for the second time on June 16, “favorable for marriage“. Venus is slowing right down now, about to station direct, sextile Uranus. So Venus sextile Uranus is within one degree orb from June 18 to July 8. This is very fortunate and suggests major breakthroughs in those relationship issues which have been causing problems. It also means that finding a new lover is more likely, and that they will be stimulating, exotic or unusual, or that the relationships will be unusual in some way or really fun but not so enduring, more of a fling. RELEASE THE PAST

Eckhart Tolle believes we create and maintain problems because they give us a sense of identity. Perhaps this explains why we often hold onto our pain far beyond its ability to serve us. We replay past mistakes over and over again in our head, allowing feelings of shame and regret to shape our actions in the present. We cling to frustration and worry about the future, as if the act of fixation somehow gives us power. We hold stress in our minds and bodies, potentially creating serious health issues, and accept that state of tension as the norm. Though it may sound simple, Ajahn Chah’s advice speaks volumes: “If you let go a little, you will have a little peace. If you let go a lot, you will have a lot of peace.”

We've all had a broken heart. It is hard to imagine the pain will ever end or that there is anything worse that can happen to us. Whether it is the death of a loved one, a lost replationship, or a bad experience, there are many things we can do to help our healing process.

A Broken Heart's Origins and Pain

The addictionBlog describes where a broken heart comes from and what it can do to your life:

Heart wounds create the rubble in our lives and we must discover and remove them. By not resolving heart wounds, we cripple ourselves, quite often, to the point of ruining relationships in the past, present and future. We continue down a journey of relationship failure and misery, broken heartedness and strife. We tend to avoid people and strike back at the same time. We end up compromising ourselves and others all because of unresolved wounds. The sad part is that most of us have no clue as to why we react the way we do. Heart wounds come from both childhood memories and from painful experiences in adult life, such as:

• Abusive parents or siblings

• Bully at school

• Close friends making fun at your expense

• Finding out you were an unwanted child

• Friend deceiving you

• Loss of a job

• Loss of spouse due to divorce

• Rejection

• Spouse having an affair

And that pain isn't all just in your head. A study shows that a broken heart really does cause physical pain:

Anyone who has ever suffered from a broken heart, understands the pain that comes along with this, but now scientists have the evidence that suggests this pain is as real as feeling pain from and injury.

Rejection is painful and the new study gives a new meaning to the idea that “social rejection hurts,” said psychologist Ethan Kross, who is lead author of this new study. The findings of this study has been reported in Tuesday’s edition of Proceedings of the National Academy of Science.

A broken heart hurts and little quips and sayings through the centuries have equated a broken heart with physical pain. Stabbed in the heart, pain in my heart, ripped my heart out, and the list goes on of these sayings that try and describe that pain. Now scientists understand that our brain’s reaction to the pain of a broken heart is very similar to the brain’s reaction to a physical injury.

Kross reports that there are similarities in the brain between feeling the pain of rejection and feeling the pain of spilling a hot cup of coffee on yourself. The region of the brain that becomes active when rejected is a region of the brain that scientist originally thought was dedicated to physical pain.

Some Suggestions For The Healing Process

How do you heal a broken heart? First, you must want to heal it. That is the trap so many of us fall into. The pain is so intense we don't think we have a choice. Once we realize we have a choice and choose to move through it, there are many things we can do to help our healing process.

Psych Centeral has some recommendations including this critical one:

1. Go through it, not around it.

I realize the most difficult task for a person with a broken heart is to stand still and feel the crack. But that is exactly what she must do. Because no shortcut is without its share of obstructions. Here’s a simple fact: You have to grieve in order to move on. During the 18 months of my severe depression, my therapist repeated almost every visit: “Go through it. Not around it.” Because if I went around some of the issues that were tearing me apart inside, then I would bump into them somewhere down the line, just like being caught in the center of a traffic circle. By going through the intense pain, I eventually surfaced as a stronger person ready to tackle problems head on. Soon the pain lost its stronghold over me.

Soulcode describes the coping strategies many of us employ for the pain:

When it seems we have lost the attention of the person we love, we are often tempted to do just about anything to assuage the relentless pain. Some turn to use or abuse substances. Others will find another type of distraction or way to numb themselves such as endless television watching, over eating and over sleeping.

And of course, there is the age old band-aid, taking up with another lover. For me, this calls to mind the anthem of abandoned lovers “Love the One You’re With” by Stephen Stills.

While many of these aforementioned coping strategies may be tempting, many of us who have weathered a storm or two will attest that there is no real way around the pain. For healing's deepest resolution, we must go through the pain.

We must allow ourselves to feel the loss.

Susan Piver recommends the Buddhist practice of Loving Kindness:

When your heart is broken or you’re otherwise dealing with strong painful emotions, the idea of feeling genuine loving kindness for anyone can seem far-fetched, much less yourself or the one who broke your heart. Loving kindness is soft and gentle, but your heart feels cold and numb or enflamed with rage—not loving at all. You may feel so unlovable and needy and freaked out that if you could shut your heart down and turn off emotion altogether, it would be a blessing. Love is the enemy. Love stinks.

So if I tell you that you still possess the most profound, elegant, indestructible well of love imaginable, you might not believe me. If I tell you that the solution for your heartache is not to seal up your heart, but to open it further, that might sound dangerous. And if I further told you that your capacity for love has never been greater and the cure for your broken heart is to offer that love to your ex, you would definitely tell me I’m crazy.

It’s possible. But hear me out. I want to offer you the practice of loving kindness as the healing balm you need. You could try it yourself and see.

Laugh every day. Think of the humorous times and cherish them. Create a life filled with laughter and joy, you deserve it.

Enjoy yourself. If the break-up of a relationship caused your heart to be broken, it’s time for you to get to know someone great! Really, is there anyone cooler than you? Maybe you've forgotten how great you are, this is what you should spend time thinking about.

Surround yourself with love. Nothing heals a broken heart faster than pure love. If your family and friends aren't being supportive--make new friends. You need to feel the "love" right now.

Work-Out. You aren't working out to build muscle necessarily, or to impress anyone. This is all about you. A good workout builds mental and physical strength; it also serves as a great distraction. If you already have a workout regimen--keep it up.

The StoneMuse has an exercise you do with some Rose Quartz during a full moon:

Get a piece of Rose Quartz and on the New Moon take your stone and hold it to your heart. "This is best to do when your laying down and you can get relaxed and focused." I want you to visualize the person that broke your heart and focus on sending the energy of the rose quartz around yourself and going into your body. Say out load " I can forgive _______ "his or her name" and myself for all the hurt and pain that was caused. This pain I release and no longer allow it into myself and around my space." You have to say this with a strong intention or it will not be helpful. Visualize the rose quartz colored light around you when ever a thought of that person comes into your mind. Hold the stone until the full moon and and sleep with it by your bed. At the full moon bath the stone and If you feel that you still are in pain you can continue the proses for as long as needed.

Divine Parent, I am trying to examine the areas of my life that are not successful. Everywhere I turn, I feel blocked. God, I am trying to have faith, but I feel that my means and my resources are at the bare minimum, and I cannot seem to get out of this struggle, nor do I have the strength to remove or move around my obstacles.

Divine parent, if I am not prosperous because of my own doing, please let my guardian angel help me see and take the right course of action. Good spirtis, please help me get disciplined in the necessary areas of my life so that I can build the foundation needed to bring me prosperity on all levels. I know that I am fully responsible for my actions, and I know that I need determination and faith to resolve my issues, but I am asking that you guide and help me keep my mind focused on completing my goals.

Superior angels, if there is anything(spirit or otherwise) or anyone blocking my prosperity, then I ask that you show me so that I can properly fix the situation.
