This morning at 5:04 am a violent shaking of the earth and the deafening rattling and snapping of windows yanked me from the deepest sleep. For a few seconds Mother Earth released her awesome power as we humans were lying or standing still, praying for the safety of our loved ones and our homes. And yet, Mother Earth kept shaking. Even after the major shakes had finished, the aftershocks were still reverberating through our bodies. The shot of adrenaline that kicked in with the first quake made it impossible to return to the oblivion of sleep.
Mother Earth had rumbled. (This never happens on the East Coast!) She has reminded us about who is truly in charge. We humans spend so much time worrying about our long-term safety and security. We worry so much that many of us mainly live to avert the economic disasters that our mind conjures up when the stock market is down and our investments fall, when our retirement portfolio is tanking by an order of magnitude, when our company is cutting back, or when our property taxes suddenly shoot up. The litany goes on until we run out of imagination. And when we run out of imagination we return to our previous worries and rehearse them in detail yet again.
How we cope with these uncertainties depends on the individual: Some are frozen by fear. Some are so fearful that they actually wind up creating the very thing they fear. Others try to imagine every worst-case scenario and try their best to put a plan in place to cope: Potential water shortages? Let’s have extra barrels of water stored in the basement. Avian flu keeps you stuck in the house for three months? The smart will have a 6-month supply of food on hand to see them through the worst! How about a potential bomb falling while we are stuck in rush hour traffic? A packed suitcase in the trunk and a gas tank that’s topped up on a daily basis will help get at least 300 miles away from town!
And yet, when Mother Earth quakes in the dead of night we suddenly realize how inadequate all our well-made plans really are. We realize that we are just fragile beings. We realize that we are here but by the grace of a loving God and Mother Earth who gives us food and shelter.
Could it happen that a loving God could arrange for something that could strip us of all our security and belongings? You bet! But what does that mean? Does it mean that God is mean or cruel?
I think the answer is: Far from it! It just means that the Great Mystery gives us the opportunity to see things differently. Spirit gives us the opportunity to see past all our fears and illusions. God helps us realize that in spite of our ability to impact the planet we really are not as powerful as we think.
Instead of worrying and preparing for things that we really can’t prepare for, we are better off to place ourselves in God’s hands more fully. We are better off to open our minds and hearts and look at the spiritual teaching that is behind the experience of seeming loss: We are entirely in Spirit’s hands. Spirit will see us through whatever we need to be seen through whenever the time comes. Instead of worrying and being panic struck, rejoice in the awesome power of Mother Earth to right herself and to bring everything back into balance.
Bring her power into your own being. Resonate with each shockwave until you realize that you can apply that raw power to the areas of your life that wish to shake up. Do we wish to continue living in pursuit of our fears, trying to protect against that for which there is no protection? Or do we just throw all our worries to the wind and give us permission to live life more fully from our hearts and spirits?
For me this morning’s experience affirms what matters most to all human beings: Meaningful relationships with my children, family, friends, community and all of life. What matters is the time we spend together. The love we share, the wonderful heart-filled moments when we look at each other and we see the spark of God in the person we are speaking with. Those are the times that count. Those are the times when our heart is just wide open and we know that we are Sprit undergoing a temporary physical existence.
Instead of getting wrapped up in all the things of the physical realm and preparing for potential disasters over which we have no control, let us just be there for each other. Let us be friends to those who need a friend. Let us make time to interact with our children and for the things that matter to them. Let us be there for one another with our full attention. Let us give the only thing that we can call our own to give. Let us give of ourselves and of our time. Let us live out of the intensity of our spirit, and follow the call of our wild hearts. Let us live life for the experience of Being rather than for the accumulation of things that can be taken in a moment’s shake.
Message from my spirit guides:
"Please tell your clients that we guides will not necessarily show them the outcomes of situations. Instead we will show the process. We will show what is missing. We will show what your clients can do in a given situation. These actions will promote personal and spiritual growth. We are process-oriented, because life is just one long journey. Every day gives you the opportunity to grow. One tiny steps leads to the next step on the path. By only focusing on outcomes, people really miss the point of what the journey is all about. The journey is about becoming a better and deeper and more mature person. The journey is all about discovering your own inner light and letting it shine so that you can help others on their journey."
Dear Friends,
I am a psychic spirit medium and I communicate with your Spirit Guides, Guardian Angels and loved ones in the Spirit World. For years I have given tarot readings on Keen as
Tarot Wise Woman. During that time I underwent extensive training to unfold my innate gifts as spirit medium. The Spirit Guide readings I am now offering are the result of my own spiritual growth as I seek to serve Spirit and humanity for the greatest good of all concerned. You will find that the new readings are even better than my old Tarot readings, because your guides work on the higher planes and have a much broader view!
(Sorry, I no longer give Tarot Readings.)What are Spirit Guides?Spirit guides are highly evolved and loving souls in the Spirit World who are committed to working with humanity. Every one of us has a number of Spirit Guides who work with us all the time. Some of your guides are lifetime guides. They have been with you from the very beginning of your life. They are intimately familiar with your life mission. They know what it is that you wanted to learn and accomplish in this lifetime and they make sure that you have every opportunity to accomplish your life purpose. Their wise and loving guidance is always available to you as they are ever so ready to support you through all your ups and downs.
How Can A Reading With Your Spirit Guides Help You?Your spirit guides collaborate with the Spirit guides of other people in your life.
Because they are so intimately familiar with the “big picture” a reading with them will give you much insight into all aspects of your life. They can give you much guidance for the path ahead. They can give you insights and a new perspective on any difficulties and challenges you may currently experience. They can tell you how you are progressing on your path. They can shed light on the dynamics of your interactions and relationships with others.
How Does A Reading With Your Spirit Guides Work? When you call me, I will need your first name and the city and state that you live in. This information serves as a focus point that helps me establish the connection with you.
I open our reading with a very brief prayer followed by a few moments of silence. Prayer is a short but integral part of the reading as it opens the doors to the spiritual realms and ensures that whatever information comes is from the highest source! Once the prayer ends your guides step in and the information comes in rapidly!
Please note that
I give exactly what I receive from your Spirit guides! I don't color it, I don't distort it, I don't sugarcoat what comes in. I just give what I receive. Also, be prepared for the fact that
you might hear from your loved ones in the Spirit World! They have been waiting patiently for an opportunity to speak with you! When they come in I will describe them to you as accurately as I see them and I will relay whatever messages they may have for you!
Suggestions For A Great Reading:
*
Before you call, spend a few minutes in quiet meditation and ask your Spirit Guides and loved ones to support you with their wisdom. Put yourself in a loving frame of mind where you truly desire their help and assistance.
* When you call,
please add sufficient funds to your account so that our reading won’t be interrupted every minute or two! Constant interruptions make it difficult for me to maintain the link to the guides and make it harder to get back into the flow once we are reconnected.
*
There is absolutely no way that I can give you a reading in 3 minutes! Please allow at least 10 minutes for your reading. You deserve a quality reading, not a rush job!
*Let me know if there is a specific area of your life that you want me to focus on first.
* If you have specific questions, please hold them until the guides invite your questions. Initially they will bring whatever information they feel is most pertinent at the time.
*
Take notes of the reading and allow for given time frames to pass before you judge the quality of the reading. Sometimes some of the information may seem off or far-fetched at the time of the reading, but will be spot on as the days, weeks or months unfold.

I would like to share with a you a Native American Prayer that has deeply touched my heart. It brings me comfort, clarity, peace, and upliftment regardless of circumstances. Read it out loud and slowly. It will touch you, too. Here it is:
Oh Great Spirit, whose voice I hear in the winds and whose breath gives life to all the world, hear me. I am small and weak. I need your strength and wisdom. Let me walk in the beauty of your sunset. Make my hands respectful of the things you have made and my ears sharp to hear your voice. Make me wise so I may understand the things you have taught my people. Let me learn the lessons you have hidden in every leaf and rock. I seek not to be greater than my brothers but to fight my greatest enemy - myself. Make me always ready to come to you with clean hands and straight eyes so when life fades, as the sun sets, may my spirit come to you without shame.
Here is a great article that provides insight into why our great new date might suddenly go AWOL:
By Amy Klein
Barry and
I went out on three dates. We had a really good time. Or at least, I
thought we did. After the third date, I never heard from him again.
That was four years ago, when
Sex and the City writer Greg Behrendt came out with the book,
He’s Just Not That Into You: The No-Excuses Guide to Understanding Guys. So even though I was pretty certain that Barry had been into me, I was forced to concede he wasn’t.
Fast forward to last week, when my friend Lexie tells me she’s
working with Barry. “He said he had a really great time with you, and
you had some really fun dates,” Lexie said. “But he met the woman he
married when he started dating you. As a matter of fact,
you were the last woman he ever dated.”
Wow. I hadn’t read the Barry situation wrong—we
did
have a good time. It was just that he also happened to meet his wife,
then marry her and have a baby with her. I liked Barry—but not
that much. I’m glad I didn’t stand in the way of his meeting his one true love. The story with Barry got me to thinking about the times when a guy
doesn’t call, but it’s not because he’s “just not that into you.” There
are other reasons he hasn’t called besides the fact that it’s a
hurtful, personal rejection.
- He’s dating someone else. In this era of dating, most people
have more than one pot on the fire. It’s the “good ones” who realize
that if you’re going to date someone seriously, you have to focus on
just one person. So maybe he hasn’t called you back because after only
one date with you, and four with someone else, he’s going to give that
woman a try. That’s not a bad guy; it’s a smart one. If you’re meant to
be, he’ll be back.
- He’s indisposed. Sometimes when a guy doesn’t call, you hope
maybe he was abducted by aliens or imprisoned somewhere—any excuse
besides, “He just didn’t like you.” And sometimes there is. My friend
Beth recently got a note from a man went AWOL after a few dates. “Sorry
I’ve been out of touch, but I was laid up in the hospital with a back
injury,” he wrote. Beth says as long as he brings a doctor’s note on
her next date, it’s all good.
- He’s got other priorities. My pal Jackie dated a man four
years her junior and, after a few weeks of great chemistry but avoidant
behavior, he told her, “Look, I really, really like you, but your
career is on track, and mine’s not, and that’s my priority.” It wasn’t
just a line. Turned out no woman could take him away from his career
goals at that time in his life.
- He recently got out of a relationship. Some people believe
that the man of your dreams will recognize you no matter what his life
situation. But a guy who just endured a difficult divorce — or suffered
a recent breakup — may not be ready for a relationship. Even if he
thinks he is.
Alice dated Tom a year after he separated from his wife, but
during their seven months together, Tom’s divorce didn’t go through,
and even worse, he was always running to his ex when she called. He
wanted to be with Alice but was too distracted and confused to be
consistent with her. Sometimes a man isn’t ready for a relationship
yet, and in Alice’s case, she’d have been better off if he hadn’t kept calling.
- It’s logistically problematic. Lisa met a guy who was
moving. To Saudi Arabia. Despite the chemistry, he refused to get
involved. “He didn’t want a long-distance relationship,” she said.
There are some who believe that love conquers all, but others realize
the stars — geography, timing, age — must be aligned for a relationship
to work.
Ultimately, there are a dozen reasons a guy might not call after a
date, but it doesn’t mean the relationship is doomed, says Ian Kerner,
Ph.D., a Manhattan-based sex therapist and author of
Be Honest—You’re Not That Into Him, Either: Raise Your Standards and Reach for the Love You Deserve.
“In my experience, not every date results in a fantastic experience and
a follow-up call the next day. Even if things don’t play out in the
scenario that you believe should play out—that doesn’t mean there isn’t
potential for it to work out,” he said. “There are no universal rules.”
So next time you’re sitting by the phone, remember that there
are dozens of reasons why it’s your mom calling (again) and not last
night’s date. And those forces keeping him from calling may have
absolutely nothing to do with you. As Dr. Kerner says, if you’re in the
right relationship, you’ll know it—and it won’t be based on whether he
called the next day.

"Live tranquilly in God, in God's time. Every morning on waking and every night before you sleep, send out a thought to the Great Spirit, that is all. Just feel that God is in your heart and that you are the son-daughter of that living power; that whatever you need the Great Spirit knows it."
Try this for a while. You will be amazed by the changes you will experience in your life. Feel free to share your experiences with this in the comment section of this post. God bless you.
This morning I was guided to pull White Eagle's book On Living In
Harmony With The Spirit out one my bookshelves. When I opened the book,
my eyes landed on the following passage. Because it so spoke to me, I
thought I'd share it with you.
"The soul receives continual
opportunity to attain divine illumination. During its every
incarnation, lessons are presented - call them tests, if you like -
which are actually opportunities for progress and initiation. Test come
to you in almost every detail of life. By these you can gauge the
reaction of your emotions to human events, the reactions of your minds
to life in general, and the reaction of your hearts in the love you
feel towards other beings. Finally, through the tests you will
recognize how you are bringing the divine attributes right through your
physical nature, and your ability to direct and control your life by
calling upon the supreme love, power, wisdom and intelligence of the
Most High - your Creator.
"Your life is charged with
opportunities to grow in wisdom, love and divine power. Beloved, put
your hand into the hand of God... and He-She will lead you step by step.
Make the effort to walk God's way and you will pass your tests and
initiations (expansions of consciousness) until you become as one of
the twenty four elders around the throne. Once you know humility you
will strip yourself of your crown light - which means that you will
know that you are as nothing, for you move and have all your being in
God. In God's life alone you can live and know supreme happiness beyond
all earthly understanding.
"This is the answer to the many who
are so deeply troubled by life's contradictions. They ask, 'Why? Why?
Why? What have I done, that this trouble should come to me?' All we can
reply is that you have either refrained from or needlessly neglected
some opportunity to serve or to express kindness to your earthly
companions. This is why the suffering came. You will go on to ask, '
What is the good of it all?’ perhaps protesting that because you cannot
remember what happened so long ago, the suffering fails in its object.
To which we answer that if your physical brain cannot remember, your
deeper consciousness knows well that it has earned the experience.
"Be
thankful, therefore, and accept all your opportunities disguised as
so-called karma. Suppose a person goes through a particularly dark
patch of trouble or sickness, or suffers a great loss, undergoes some
kind of limitation or hardship, or meets misunderstanding or injustice.
All these experiences, when seen in their right perspective - with
understanding that they are lessons through which your master is trying
to make you see and understand life more perfectly - all these will be
recognized as tests. Furthermore, you will always find, however
trifling a test may seem, that when it is passed, there has come a
change. "I shall never be the same again', you say. That is true, never
the same, but always better, let us hope; for in minor way an expansion
of consciousness or understanding of human nature and human experience
has been the result.
Every time I have a major epiphany that gives me insight into how I
block myself, Spirit gives me a test to see how well I have really
integrated the lesson. Yesterday Spirit was testing to see to what extend I
have gasped the impact of constant worry that I explored in yesterday's blog post. Because I am self-employed,
there is no one who gives me a guaranteed monthly paycheck. I do well
with giving readings, but when the economy takes a significant turn for
the worse, my income tends to go down. Last month business was not as
good as usual. The first week of April was back to normal, but yesterday morning my
telephone was silent. By 1:00 pm my income for the day had been zero. I suddenly knew
that this was a test to see if I was going to restart the negative cycle
of worrying.
Instead of going back to my old ways, I have
decided how much money I want to deposit in my bank account at the end
of the month. This is substantially higher than what I've earned
previously, but not outrageous. I see no reason why I should not be
able to earn this amount of income. I absolutely trust that Spirit is
going to come through for me with this. I figured that if I don't make progress in
this direction today, then the money would come on another day. Spirit is infinite and unlimited, so I'm just going to leave the
details up to Spirit.
I began to imagine a cornucopia
of abundance awaiting me at the end of the month. Every now and then
when I realized that the telephone wasn't ringing, I just held the image
of the cornucopia of financial abundance in my mind. So I relaxed and worked instead on a talk I'll have to give next month. At about 2:00 pm, I suddenly felt this rush of love from my Spirit guides. Two minutes later my phone began to ring. I gave reading after reading and before I knew it, I had all the income that I needed for the day! I had passed the test.
This reading was done as an exercise but it had an extremely powerful message. When I shared the reading with others over the weekend, they all could relate to it as well. I thought I'd post it here, because it may help others, too!
Paul lead our monthly tarot group meeting today with a powerful
exercise: He had filled about 30 plastic Easter eggs with one question
each and had randomly assigned six Tarot cards to it. To be completely
unbiased, he had given each card a number from 1 to 78. We then had to
find the corresponding cards in our Tarot deck and perform a reading on
the question.
The question inside my egg read: "What will bring
me more enjoyment?" The following Thoth cards came up as answer: Major
Arcana II and VIII reversed, X upright, 8 of Cups "Indolence", 5 of
Pentacles "Worry", 7 of Pentacles "Failure."
Uh-oh, I thought,
such gloomy cards! Based on my card for today, 7 of Cups "Debauch" I
decided that I should not be self-indulgent and draw another question,
an option Paul had offered. Then I remembered that on my way to the
meeting I had asked Spirit to bring me a message I really need to hear.
In order to not bias the reading, I decided to just pretend that I am
reading for someone else. That worked beautifully. Here is what I wrote:
"Honey,
you have a problem letting go and letting Spirit in to help you with
your life. You are not listening to your spirit guides because you are
too worried about your money, your business, and what not. You are
especially worried about a situation that has failed and that is
already over and done with. For some reason you are just not letting it
go. You continue to beat yourself up for your part in it and judge
yourself very harshly. You may even think that you are a terrible
person and that you don't deserve God's love. You must forgive yourself
for whatever it was that went wrong.
Because of your obsession
with the past and your constant worries about the future, you are not
firing on all cylinders. This makes it hard to get your creative juices
to flow. What's worse is that your preoccupation with past failures is
not only getting in your way to be open to Spirit, but you are actually
in process of recreating the same situation for yourself in the future!
You have got to stop being so hard on yourself and you absolutely have
got to stop worrying! You will enjoy greater abundance on all levels
once you stop tying God's hands with worries about past and future
failures.
"Look at the Wheel of Fortune. It recommends that you
loosen up and look at the bright side of things. Everything comes in
cycles. You have just finished a very negative cycle. Rest assured that
you are finished with the bad times. Now you'll have at least ten good
years ahead of you. So, let in the light!
"You are ready to
embark on a wonderful new journey. Your new journey will be spiritually
significant and will open up and expand your spiritual gifts. But first
you must forgive yourself and developed a more balanced attitude. Don't
judge yourself. Don't judge others either. All of us are here to make
mistakes. That's how we learn. It's important that you give everyone a
very large canvas to paint on in whatever style feels right to them.
Take a risk and shoot for the stars. You will be amazed by the wonders
that await you. And you are going to have so much fun with it! Good
luck, dear.
It wasn't until after I had completed the reading
and we had shared the results with each other that I remembered that
the message is for none other than myself!
Kindness is the cherry on top of the icing: The first four principles
show us how we can get out of our own way and make life better for
ourselves. The fifth Reiki principle reminds us that we don't live in
isolation. We are part of a world community. It challenges us to reach
beyond ourselves. Principle 5 compels us be of service to others, so
that others, too, can advance on their life path.
Remember, all
of us are interconnected: A kindness done to one person has a ripple
effect, extending far beyond that one person. Through the practice of
kindness we make the world a better place for all of us. We reap the
benefit of knowing that our lives are important and that we make
positive contribution to mankind. Kindness, then, lies at the root of
self-realization and personal fulfillment.
This concludes my discussion of the Reiki Principles.
The first time this principle was mentioned in my Reiki I training, I
had visions of Japanese men with stomach ulcers, chained to their desks
for 18 hour long work days. After all, I grew up with a mother who
thought that work that is done joyfully is the equivalent of laziness.
I quickly realized that Reiki principle 4 has nothing to do with
promoting drudgery.
This principle encourages us to put our
heart into whatever it is that we are doing and to apply ourselves to
the best of our abilities. If we always give our best, we'll never have
to suffer from remorse or regret. That principle alone will keep many
of us out of the therapist's office! Also, working hard and doing our
best wholeheartedly usually results in success. Success makes us feel
good about our selves and our lives.
Whether or not we work hard
at something is a type of 'gold standard' to help us evaluate whether
we are on the right track: If we aren't putting our heart and effort
into our endeavors, perhaps there is something wrong with them? Is our
work perhaps not aligned with our values or goals or with who we really
are?
Researchers at Gothenburg University in Sweden have found
that the people who are happiest are the ones who are engaged in work
that uses their strengths and who are working towards a goal. They
found that winning the lottery gives a temporary high, but that lasting
satisfaction comes from working hard at something that is personally
meaningful.
I view gratitude as the antidote to anger and worry. When we count our
blessings, we realize how much we have to be grateful for. It shifts
our focus from what we lack to what we have. Gratitude for our
blessings, no matter how small, is a positive affirmation of abundance!
Gratitude
opens the heart chakra. It reconnects us to our joy and to our love of
life. It Gratitude restores our serenity, helps us be patient, and
enables us to release negativity. Fill your heart with gratitude, and
you will open the door to improved relationships with your loved ones,
emotional well-being and abundance in all areas of your lives.
If
you are currently in a rough patch in your life, you might want to keep
a Gratitude Journal. Every day, take a few minutes to write down the
things that you are thankful for. As you record each item, take moment
to actually feel the gratitude in your heart. You will find that soon,
your entire being becomes suffused with love and joy. Suddenly you'll
become aware of blessings that you had overlooked and you'll feel even
richer.
Don't be surprised if you reach the point where you find
yourself grateful for your difficulties! Gratitude helps us see beyond
the silver lining. It helps us realize the goodness in all things, in
all situations. Gratitude gives us the courage to move forward
fearlessly and restores our trust in a benevolent universe.
Worry is like a prison. It keeps you caught up inside your problems and
makes it nearly impossible to find a solution. Worry is often the cause
of insomnia, depression, illnesses of the digestive system, and certain
skin conditions. Worry blocks out the light of Spirit and makes us feel
lonely, isolated, and impoverished. Worrying reduces the quality of our
lives.
If you let go of worry, the universal energy can flow
into your life and help you find creative solution to your troubles. Of
course, this is easier said than done. As Reiki master, I automatically
send Reiki to whatever it is that troubles me. I trust that Reiki, in
conjunction with Infinite Spirit, will transform the situation. I have learned that whenever I release my worries to Reiki and Spirit, a creative solution presents itself or circumstances shift in a way that put the worry permanently to rest.
When you find yourself worrying, you
might want to imagine putting a colorful, gas-filled balloon around
your concern and gently release them to Spirit, to the universe, or to
the angels. See how light these worry-filled balloons become as
they take off in their journey to Spirit. If you get worried again,
just remember that God, the universe or the angels are already taking
care of the situation.
Give yourself a day's break:
Just for today, do not worry.
The five Reiki principles provide the foundation for physical, mental
and emotional well-being. Because the principles are so simple, they
are open and accessible to anyone who wishes to practice them. You do
not need to be attuned to Reiki energy by a Reiki Master to practice
the principles and reap their benefits.
Just for today
Do not anger
Do not worry
Be grateful
Work hard
Be kind.
Just
for today, do not anger: Anger stems from the inability to control a
situation. Tempers often flare when our perceived needs conflict with
the needs of another. Uncontrolled outbursts of anger isolate us from
others and can ruin our relationships with the people we love. Anger is
the root of many adverse health conditions, including eczema, high
blood pressure, strokes and heart attacks. When we get angry, the
body's fight-or-flight mechanism becomes activated, and releases the
stress hormones adrenaline and cortisol. Repressed anger often leads to
anxiety and depression and can lead to substance abuse. If you can let
go of anger just for today, you will be able to release anger every
day. You will become a happier, healthier person. Letting go of anger
is a key factor in the healing of many illnesses. That's why Dr. Mikao
Usui, the founder of the Usui Reiki Ryoho natural healing tradition,
named "Do not anger" as the first Reiki principle.
On a recent evening, my boyfriend and I took a walk in the large urban forest that runs through our city. About
20 minutes before sunset, a very large owl swooped by very close to us.
He landed on the top branch of a dead tree. The owl sat there
motionlessly, except for quick swivels of his head. Based on his size
and markings, I was later able to identify him as either a Barred Owl
or as the Great Horned Owl. Due to the light and the height of the
tree, a closer identification was not possible.
I hadn't seen
owls since that night in the summer of 2001 when we were driving back
from Senegal, to Boke, Guinea. The unexpected sight of the owl was
breathtaking and mystical. I couldn't help thinking that its sudden
appearance was no accident. In ancient mythology, birds were often
associated with deities. Ancient people thought that birds represent
the thoughts of the gods and serve as messengers of the deities.
Because
owls possess keen eyesight and hearing, they are reminders to pay
special attention to information that comes through the clairvoyant and
clairaudient channels. The fact that we saw the owl right before sunset
is also significant. The sunset time of the day is a symbolic gateway
into the unconscious as well as into the world of Spirit. Because my boyfriend
and I are both developing mediums, I view the owl as affirmation of our
spiritual paths. Owls are active at night, and the night represents the
darkness within. Perhaps it is time to engage in working with our
shadows. Owls have very keen instincts. They help us navigate the inner
darkness by trusting our instincts. It is time for silence, solitude,
and vigilance. From the darkness spring new opportunities.
In the
Animal-Wise Tarot, Ted Andrews
associates the owl with the Hermit. That is a good choice, since owls
are considered to be wise. The Hermit is solitary, so the owl indicates
that it's important to spend more time alone in quiet reflection. The
Hermit lights to path for others: As psychic and tarot reader I
certainly help to shed light on the situations my clients are facing.
Perhaps that is the reason why from the time I was very young, owls
have always been my favorite birds. Perhaps owl energy has been guiding
me along my path all along.
