I was reminded last evening, after talking to a psychic I convinced to come on here, what I love to best in my calling. That is helping others get to where they are going. She's in her mind, just a psychic, but after last night I guarantee you she's now aware of and truly gets how to speak to spirit.
Sometimes I get agitated at psychics, because they think they do all they do because of their "gifts", when in fact, there are guides for every one of us that actually helps us do what we really do...not the false stuff where you are told what you want to hear, (anyone can do that) but the stuff that when you say it's going to happen it does, even though it doesn't seem to the person being read, that it fits.
Teaching people who their guides are and how to connect with them to connect for others, is something I AM SO IN LOVE WITH. I was blessed with this calling, and I don't ever take it for granted, but some might think so because I don't tell them what THEY WANT to hear. But that's the genius of it! If you want to hear what you want to hear, you go to your friends or soothe-Sayers, they can do that strickly with empathy all day long.
It was funny-just last night I asked my kid if he wanted to do a psychic fair with me this weekend, and he sat there, and you could see him getting nervous and anxious and he said no. I responded, "You're gonna do great!" "But I don't know what I'm doing!" he contested. "I know better. . ." I winked. "But when I did it that one day I was just guessing....those were all just good guesses mom!" he insisted. "I'll take a guesser like you who can get names, dates of births and the way people died, any day over a fake psychic hun," I said smiling. "But mom, I'm not ready!"
Do you see the lack of ego in all he said? That's the way I like em. (the ones I teach). They don't believe they are doing anything, they just think they are really good guessers. Once they realize why their guesses are so good they just get more confident and stronger. Don't confuse this with ego and self pride, as that has nothing to do with doing true readers.
I've been told a few times over the years, that I lack compassion at times. But here's the kicker--everyone that left me bad feedback at that specific time, has called me back and apologized because I was right, even though the message may have not been delivered in a way they could handle, but if you think about it, if you don't want to hear it, it doesn't matter how you deliver the message, you aren't going to like it anyway. So I just keep my emotions, (not to be confused with compassion) out of it.
So yes, I give answers, and I try to steer clear of empathy due to the fact that that's just reading your energy and what you want to hear(which isn't always right)...but it's not always wrong either, but if I agree then you've got some good things to look forward to. :)
I'll post an update about the psychic fair on Saturday. I'm taking all three of my children to do readings for others as they are all Mediums and they are darn good at what they do, but the only way to get past the initial fear is to jump yeah? So we're diving in.....pray we are drenched when we report in again on Sunday :)

Laughing is a beautiful thing. Some people think it's "demeaning" and some have even called it "deceitful" which to me is untrue. Laughter is a gift, and it does help you see the more positive side of things and it also makes it so you don't go down hill emotionally when you very easily could.
To have laughter is to be free. To laugh is to express gratitude and love. Laughter may show a different side of understanding but it it beats being negative if you ask me. So laugh it up ya'll have fun and enjoy and don't give into the depressing facts that can change in a moment. Have a happy day everyone.
I know not everyone has had the best month and that things have been really crazy and I'm hoping you take it seriously to tell this full moon thanks for everything, and goodbye to all that stuff too. Full moons are not for manifesting they are for letting go and giving thanks. New moon's however are for manifesting and I suggest you start working on that list now, because it just so happens that the new moon this month lands on the 22nd.....which is a master number. The day is going to be a 3 day so it's a time for communication :) . I'm very excited.
This full moon tonight just happens to land on a 7 day, which is very spiritual in nature and should be taken very seriously on all aspects. I wish the best for each and every one of you and hope and pray that you can change the energy (and go with the flow) once the change is in motion.

Turns out that's exactly that. Was just this morning my room mate and I were talking about a certain someone that he's not seen since childhood and while getting my car fixed later this afternoon the tire guy mentioned the same exact woman . . .which was his cousin.
Before I went to the tire store I happened to grab an undecided amount of money, and turned out that I had $1 left over after lunch, to pay for the tire repairs. A client came over for a 1 hour reading, and just happened to grab enough for 2 hours, and the reading went over to 2 hours. All these things happening for reason, both good and bad and look at us now, happily perched on the sofa wondering why everything happens. :)
It won't take long, if you are in spiritual mode, to understand that everything does happen for a reason, and it's not always something you can see in the moment. Sometimes you have to sit back and take it all in and look for the better part of why things come together the way they do. I am certainly one to be charged with saying "Why did this happen to me!" when in fact the reason will be made more than clear later. I'm sure you are just as guilty too. But sit back with me for a moment and realize that our lives are all intertwined and everything we do and say comes around in a way that is unexplainable to others. Like why I was recognized by my old landlord after more than 3 years of not living by her. Today has been an incredible day, even with all the bad events that took place. Can you say that? Try it, and see how good it feels to be alive. :)

Trying to make an emotional bond in relationships is like trying to make a sandcastle in the ocean. It doesn't work. Even sand castles that are built on the shore eventually get torn down by the tide. You can't build an emotional bond, it's created naturally. Like a connection~ it just happens, and you can't just have a deep connection with anyone. On the other hand you can 'connect' with anyone on some level, but this is not the same as a connection.
When you have the ability to connect with people and you are empathic you also have the ability to feel deeply for the other person. This does not necessarily mean there is a "connection" because it's only one person feeling the other. That's what healers do everyday. A connection is something that occurs without trying, without looking deeply and without hoping the other person likes you. When a true connection is made, all of the above happens naturally and it flows with the universal laws. Things will go right in your life, things will line up and all signs will point to happiness.
Don't deny these natural connections when they happen. They are for reason, even if it isn't meant to be. In all situations there is something to be given and to be learned. Be thankful for the experience and don't ever 'try' to make it more than it is in that moment. When you do, then you are not letting the natural flow of things happen.
I read somewhere that mysticism is the becoming of faith to oneness
and I cannot express how true that it! When I came into my ‘oneness’ I
was 30. Always content in knowing there existed a purpose for my life I
waited for my light bulb to go off. The age of 30 was super significant
in that I told friends when I was just an elementary student that one
day when I turned 30 that I would know everything I needed to know so
that I would not die old with wrinkles.
Oneness is something hard to explain to people that have not reached
this point in their lives, but I will give it my best shot. The
transition to oneness is not simple by any means. When people ask about
deceased loved ones it makes more sense to them about the transition.
When people die they immediately see everything they had done in their
lives, be it bad or good. It is a surreal experience in which if you
survive it you gain knowledge beyond your years and clarity on all
things is just a part of everyday life. It is when your spirit and
physical body collide in a way that makes you whole.
The process indeed is very humbling. It is tough to see everything
that you had done wrong to others, but even through all the bad it is
super humbling when you see all that you had done right. I think the
process is the way it is so that you do not become egotistical in the
process of the transition. Ego cannot exist with those that become
eerily responsible for all they do.
Some people refer to soul mates or life partners as their ‘twin
flame’ and this is not the case. Imagine a little ember just sitting at
the bottom of your solar plexus waiting for fuel to start the fire. The
fire in this case represents the spiritual side of yourself. Once lit,
you become one with the spirit inside you. When your physical body
begins to work in harmony with your spirit, this is called the ‘twin
flame’.
I will share stories later of what occurred during the process of
this great transition, but for now I leave you with good tidings, and
hopes that you and your spirit collide in a most harmonious way.
It's strange, the way we mourn. At the onset of death everything is difficult, even breathing sometimes. When they say time heals all things it's true. Our memories that we make while we are alive is what makes our presence after we die. Our spirit as we all know is very telling. This morning I got a visit from my two fathers and my brother. I knew it was coming . . .not due to some anniversary or anything, but because I got an email yesterday from my brother that passed in 2008. The visit was awesome and as usual it was their spirit energy that made them truly recognizable. It took me what seemed forever to get passed the pain of my brother passing, but in retrospect a year and a half isn't too bad, even for a medium. They congratulated me on publshing my new book " The Squirrel & the Pine Tree" , which was started prior to my brothers passing. They told me to continue with college and not expect the great grades that I am used to, but not give up because no one is perfect. They gave me some great ideas for new books as well as few jokes to make me smile. The visit was perfect! I wish great visits like this for all of you, as it is healing and can be most encouraging in rough times. Mourning as I said is strange, you can do it in a positive manner or a negative one, it's up to you - but remember all those you mourn for are watching over you constantly and wish you strength and happiness in all you do.
It's that time of year again, when people seem to gather together to "give thanks". Personally, I believe we should give thanks every day. This post is to remind everyone that while I may not say it often enough, I am thankful for meeting every one of you. I am thankful for the trust and confidence you give to me each and every time you call or write. Beyond that I am thankful for people with beliefs that reach into a spiritual realm that I am all too familiar with.
Without you, I would not see much of reason for being me, and whether you believe it or not, you make my life worthwhile. So thanks for all you do, all you are and your existence, because it gives mine relevance.

September marks a month of humanitarian efforts and unselfish giving. 9 is the number of this energy and it revolves not around self reflections but more about an outward perspective of where those who fill your life space are coming from. Have you walked in their shoes? Could you walk in their shoes? Those highly gifted with empathy could tend to give too much of themselves and those who are not aware of this could take another road altogether.
As a child, I could remember my father constantly telling me to sit up straight with my shoulders back. As sure as I'm writing this I am positive that some of you are thinking this is all about posture, but it truly is not. My father told us to do this because we were highly empathic. You can usually spot an empathic person because the position they sit usually makes their shoulders and chest resemble a bowl or cup of sorts, blocking everything to the sides while focused on that which is in front of them. Constantly being in an empathic state, people tend to lose sight of themselves and what they are about and what their mission is. So after realizing this mission, 'Sit up straight with your shoulders back'. Doing this simple thing literally pulls you back to life and makes you part of your environment where your effectiveness will be much more profound.
It is always good to keep some kind of record of your happenings this month, just because it may be weeks or months later before you see the impact your giving made on other people's lives.

Of course by this I mean exciting the intent to live without boundaries, love without fear, engage in the brilliance of everyday wonders and be entertained by the bounty of miracles that make up our ever changing lives. Yes~you've heard it all I am sure, 'live for today for tomorrow may never come' or 'say what you mean while you have the chance to say it' and it all makes perfect sense, especially now.
I would have to compare exciting the senses to realizing a great idea and sticking with it until you have brought it full circle. Many of us have brilliant ideas yet we let so many of them pass us by and later, when we think everything is perfect and comfy then we can start working on what struck our fancy oh so long ago, but then it's too late. In a post the other day I spoke about being all you are to everyone while in their presence because if you are not, you may be missing the opportunity of a lifetime. Maybe this opportunity is not yours to have, but if it triggers another to take a path they once feared, then you have all the same become part of that opportunistic moment.
August is about opportunities and abundance, and it is a very 'what goes around comes around' type of month, so if you feel like you are repeating anything, take a moment to see if it is something you were hoping to change in the last scenario, and then make that change necessary to reap the benefits of prosperity and peace. As complicated as life may seem, there exists that simple side, where if you take a moment to examine where you are in life right at this moment, you will find it is exactly where you needed to be. Being imperfectly perfect we all may judge what we do or have done as mistakes, but by all means if we can see them as the yellow brick road to reach the goals we set when we made our debut appearance, we might find that it was all very much worth it in the end.
Enjoy this month of self examination and all the rewards that are abound for your personal role in the past months or change what needs to be changes so you may be the one reaping the benefits for engaging in life beyond the norm!

Friday the 23rd 6 friends and I, (5 of which were newbies to ghost hunts) set out to see if we could come home with any evidence of a haunting or spiritual activity on a property in Northern Utah. We got so many orbs and different feelings throughout the night that it was clearly apparent that there were spirits present. The height of the evening had to be when I ran to the stairwell and quickly threw my camera over the railing and got a shot off. I brought it back over to find that an usual shadow in it. I asked a few people what they thought it was and we returned to the staircase to try and make it so the shadow could be recreated, but low and behold, no matter where we put our body parts no shadow would cast.
When I got home and started to analyze the pictures I noticed there was more to the picture with the shadow than we all could see with the options still showing on the camera. A foot and a half from my leg, what looked like a spirit knife (that's what I call it when they are the color of casper the friendly ghost lol) was sticking out from the railing. No one had a knife on them and no one was even near me when I took the photo, so to say the least it was awesome stuff to add to my many albums of paranormal photo's and evp's. Speaking of which, I should probably get to those now ! :)

Well, they are here and next Friday another is on it's way. If you've been thinking about selling old belongings or giving to the needy or just clearing a closet for the affect it has on the mind and clearing the energy, then I would say go for it! Jupiter retrograde is all about clearing unnecessary things/people/thoughts and paying attention and making room for future progress.
Reminder: we still have till December 5th until Uranus goes Direct, November 7th until Neptune goes Direct and September 14th when Pluto goes Direct. I am purposely not making mention of the Mercury going retrograde during all this because we already have plenty to deal with now :)

The past week has been to say the least, very interesting. The feeling that many are here was confirmed yesterday after a spirit went sneaking out of my room and down the stairs. Luckily I have two brilliantly gifted children as well and we located the child spirit. With EMF detector in hand we began to explore the downstairs. I was in the hall with chills from head to toe while my child was walking fast to his room. Suddenly I hear the "MOM!" and I go running when I see him holding the EMF detector in his shaky hand. "It turned off all by itself. I got a spike of 10.0 and then it just turned off," he explained.
We exited his room and while examining the detector he said.."There it goes..." as he ran down the hall and back up the stairs.
At times when this happens it does mean that they are waiting around for their loved ones to call in so they can get a message across, but this little child I believe likes it here and is now being very mischievous. So into the salt baths the family went. The salt tends to draw out the spirits and any bad energy and down the drain it goes. So far so good.
Today, we enter the 7 month. Spiritual number no less and so the month will revolve around this as well. I've got the spirits, now onto delivering messages.
If you happen to find that activity is high in your home, don't worry too much, but do be sure to 'check the energy'. Some come with worried energy, others will be peaceful and happy and still others will be rambunctious and start messing with electronics, draining batteries and such. If you happen to feel the latter, be sure to take your salt bath and remain in control.

Well first of all if you are feeling a major funky shift, it's cause it's here. For the past two days I've been telling my kids I'm feeling/sensing/hearing/seeing way more than usual--to the point where I might need an oak tree in my living room so I can hug it over and over again, and tonight I sit down and check out the retrograde calendar!!
First off, let's just get the June (06) month out of the way. The six represents family, relationships, nurturing and stability, so if you find yourself hoping for that stable relationship that you've always wished for, well you just might get it. The 'but' here comes in with the two retrogrades we are facing. First we have Pluto, which we've kind of grown used to since it went retrograde April 6. This is all about finding (one way or another) the things that hold you back and tossing them aside to make room for the fulfillment you've been wishing for since forever! Most of us have given into it, but to make it more exciting, we now have Neptune in retrograde.
Yup Yup.....this is serious business. Neptune will heighten your awareness and make you more highly attuned than you already are, whether you want it or not!!! So beware. Most people that have been running from this side of themselves will be running for the addiction of choice in order to quiet it all out or numb themselves from the ever intrusive minds in the world we live in. AVOID THESE THINGS please!! You can get through this.
If ever there was a time to get a journal to free your mind with letters to the ex's or dirty no good words to the bosses.....this would be it!! Do not try to just 'handle it' as our perceptions are changing everyday and you might end up in a quarrel you could very well avoid. So--back to the family nurturing you are used to during this lovely month of 6....well this is not your average June and this is not your average year. If you can't communicate with words because it seems you are foaming out the mouth with things to say, then just write it and send or give it to the person. Sometimes we can convey our feelings and perspectives better this way, and this will halt many a relationship from failing.

Yes, May is a 5 month and that said, you should be prepared for anything and everything. If an unsettled feeling starts to take hold, just know that it's just the energy of 5. People need to be doing something, even if it's walking in circles trying to figure out what to do, and others have a habit of overdoing it and find themselves in a handful of eventful adventures they would not normally partake in, but this is the 5 energy. Fun, Adventure, Unsettledness and a restless urge to complete the impossible.
As for the Retrogrades--well that's where some obsticals may see their way into the mix, making the possible impossible and roadblocks where normally none exist. Thank goodness this doesn't last for long- okay I lied. Mercury retrograde is almost over (May 11) but Pluto retrograde is a good 6 months and began April 6. If you have anything lurking in the closet of your subconscience you can expect it to come out and say hello with a bang--so habits that usually numb the senses will no longer work.
So for the most part, expect change, inward and outward and do not foresake the future for the past--keep focused on forward movement and remember to laugh is to live, but to stew in anger is to halt forward movement. Take care!
