I was standing at the front of the room right after one of our concerts, being asked some questions. The subject of highest vibrations came up, and I had asked Andrew to give me some insight. I mentioned that laughter is the highest vibration, only to be correct by one of the people in front of me. He said, "Love is the highest vibration." It was then that Andrew decided to help me, and he said, "No, Laughter is the highest vibration, Love is a state of being."

I went on to explain that love is the place and laughter is one of the vehicles that will get you there. He went on to tell me that there are several vibrations on the planet that lead you to particular states. Some good, some not so good.

Here we will deal with two states; Love and Fear. Whatever you are vibrating at will lead you to one of these two states. The vibration that you are is determined by you and can be changed by you at any given time. Change your vibration to change your destination. The best way to change your vibration is to look at the decisions that brought you to your current place. Make sure you move through your life making a really big deal of your successes and accomplishments. Let these be your savings account. When things aren't going so good for you, draw on these savings. Think about them for a moment , and think how wonderful you felt at that time. This will shift your energy enough to allow you to be in a moment of happiness.

"We are born knowing these things, then it is taught out of us as we get older. I know that now. As I help others on the Bridge of Transition, I am aware of their process, and I help them when they listen.

My only advice is to NEVER allow others to pull you away from who you are. Not everybody has to travel the Bridge of Transition. Some people do cross enlightened. Babies are born enlightened and will never see the Bridge. Babies that cross are re-born right into the arms of their Angels.

Young people have less of a journey than older people. This is why it is important to get the information that you need BEFORE you cross. I would advise anyone to do what you can to not spend as much time on the Bridge as I did. That is what I teach now to those that hear me on the Earth plane.

"At the beginning, of the Light didn't appear to get any closer, but stayed like a constant vigil on my progress. As I walked I had nothing to look at so thoughts about my life came into my mind. The first thing I thought was that where I was, was nothing like what I had been taught. All those times I was warned to be good or I would go to hell, all came together in my mind.

This wasn't heaven or hell, but I knew that if I stayed positive, the journey seems more bearable. I started thinking for some odd reason about church, my family, and things I believed or was forced to believe. I began realizing that a lot of what happened to me was a lack of education; not really my fault. Then, for the same old reason, I started thinking of all the ties I allowed myself to be compromised by others. I started to cry.

As I cried, I found myself realizing that these people in my life had exactly the same education as me. They did to me what they knew to do, mostly based on what was done to them. As these names from my life came up, I was able to understand them and forgive them.

Through my tears I realized the places in my life where I was not fair to myself. I realized that by doing that I was never fair to others. I had a misguided view of myself in my life. But I felt strongly ok with that now. This "now" that was happening around me as I walk across the Bridge.

As I looked up, I saw the Light, brighter and closer than before! As I continued to review my life, my choices, and my relationships, these strange feelings of utter joy kept coming and coming! I could feel happiness and peace, a peace like I have never known before. As I let people go in forgiveness that I had blamed, the peace came faster and faster!

The darkness that was surrounding me was transforming into a beautiful Light on either side. I started seeing images of those that I knew that went on before me. My Mom, My Dad, and my 2 brothers. I could feel them again, and I saw them smiling. I heard many beautiful voices in my head saying 'Welcome Home!'

All of a sudden I could see the other side of the Bridge. Standing with arms wide open was the most beautiful Angel. His face was void of wrinkles and his wings covered the whole sky! I was excited, happy, and no longer scared. He drew me to him, and I felt warm, happy and at home.

I was taken from this place into a beautiful crystal room. I was then approached by 2 more beautiful Angels who bathed and dressed me. I have always loved crystals but never really understood what to do with them.

This was the first time in my life that I ever felt totally loved. These beings didn't want anything from me, and seemed to shine brighter, the happier I became. This was wonderful!

I was then lead from this place into another place that looked like the home I grew up in. I was remembering the happy times. I wasn't sure at the time if my thoughts created this place or whether the place made me have the thoughts. I am a lot more aware now though.

I watched as everyone I had ever loved or had loved me came into the room. They were happy and we shared stories and hugs. It was wonderful. It was a beautiful reunion, and I realized the whole journey on the bridge. It's lessons and it's reason became very clear to me now. If we knew this information before we crossed, the journey would be so much easier!"

The first part of the channel Martin did from Andrew and the other Soul who made their transition.

ANDREW: When you reach this stage in your journey it will be time to cross. This is a most wonderful part of your life journey on Earth. It is called crossing because you must cross from one side to the other. You travel from where you are to where we are.

The Bridge is the best way to give you a physical idea of the way this process occurs. At the moment of your passing from your world, you will be at the end of a beautiful bridge. You must cross the bridge to come home.

How you perceive the bridge and the process itself, will determine the type of journey you will have. It is not the journey or the destination that is important; it is what the journey makes of you. This is the Golden Opportunity to learn and reflect on your past experience on Earth.

I want to relay a story as it was told to me by one such traveler. My journey was different so I have no personal knowing of the crossing of the Bridge at this time. The Soul that described it to me believed that they lived a good life, but they did cross burdened with many religious conditioning. In their words:

"I was a very religious person in that I went to church every Sunday, and volunteered there. I believed in hell and I believed in the devil. I believed I had to spend my life in service and giving so as to receive everything when I died.

I was very scared about death, wondering if I was good enough. When I finally passed, I passed scared. These feelings seemed to manifest what I was afraid of. I remember thinking that I was right all along. I wasn't good enough and I was going to be punished for that.

I saw a faint light way in the distance, but had no idea what it's intentions were. I saw ahead of me a bridge. I tried a few times to cross over this bridge, but I was scared. I was in a dilemma. What ever the light was, I knew I didn't deserve to be with it-good or bad. I was stuck. If it was a good light, I didn't deserve it because I wasn't good enough. If it was a bad light, I didn't deserve that either. I was really stuck. Here I was at the beginning of the end of a bridge and I couldn't move!

I have always prayed on Earth, but I never really heard anything. I guess I never listened. I didn't know how. Can I be penalized for that? So I prayed again, but with resolve to listen. The voice I heard was sweet, and it urged me to go to the Light. With much sadness for I really wanted to go back and fix what I did wrong, I started onto the Bridge.

This was an incredible journey for me. It was as if the journey purified me. As I stepped onto the bridge, I could see a blackness. The Light was so very far ahead. On either side of the Bridge, I could hear voices, muffled voices, and I could see shapes of people and things. This added to my fear at the beginning, but as I traveled I learned more about the process."

This has to be one of my favorite tools.  I have been a certified hypnotherapist and Past Life Regressionist now for 5 years.  I have hosted group regressions and one on one regression with great results.

 The theory is that we can bring patterns into our current lifetime from a past life or past lives.  Some of these patterns are good while some of them can be detrimental and destructive in our current life.

 The wonderful thing about PLR is that it gives you information that you’ve been looking for.  As I have learned, the information that you receive is 70% of the healing.  PLR can help you tremendously to see the patterns in your life.  See the list below to see the potential things that PLR can help you with:

 How powerful you were in a past life – it helps you reconnect with that.

I give a lot of credit for relaxation and meditating to breathing.  I have used a breathing exercise to get into all of my meditations.  I have shown people how breathing can make it easier.  If there is any trick to meditating well, it has to do with breathing well.

 When you meditate, having a focus will help your mind rid itself of any chatter and distracting information.  There are many ways to get into a good meditation, but I have found that this method is one that everyone can do.  The breathing exercise alone will help will help you to relax since we do not breathe properly as a rule.  Follow the breathing exercise below even without the meditation and you will se what I am talking about.

 Remember that to breathe you need to inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth.  When you inhale, visualize or sense that you are breathing in clear clean energy and as you breathe out count slowly to four.  Visualize this energy going down throughout your whole body like a wave of energy.  Hold the breath for a count of four and as you breathe out visualize or know that the toxins or negative energy is now leaving your body as you do this.  Feel the wave of energy coming back up your body now filling you up with this new clean energy.  At the end of the exercise make yourself smile.

 Repeat this exercise three times and note how you feel.  I have found that just the breathing exercise alone is enough to bring me to a calm, centered self.  Sometimes I increase the count to eight and work my way down again.

 Breathing is so important that I have listed a few good references just for breathing at the back of the book.  Breath is life and life needs breath.  Practice breathing often and deep.  When stressed or agitated breathing becomes shallow and fast.  Always remember to take a few moments to do the exercise and you will notice the change.

It has always been a passion of mine to teach people how to get the most out of their lives, and the key to getting what you want is to get the needy energy out of the way. So I wrote this little information article on meditating. This is what helped me to get centered and really focus in on what I wanted.

From beginner to advanced, everybody gets a lot from the exercises.  As my dear friend Steven Farmer says, “Just show up!”  Really in whatever venture you undertake, just showing up is three quarters of the battle.  However, there are certain things you have to do to make your meditation flow and I call this ‘conditioning.’

Go into your meditation with a goal or a purpose in mind.  This will give your subconscious the reason to do any type of meditating.  When people say, “I can’t meditate because I fall asleep.”  I cringe first of all at the use of the word ‘can’t’, then I ask them why they are meditating or what was the specific problem they were trying to solve.  The usual response is “I don’t know,” or they are meditating to relax.  Sleep usually follows relaxation.   Sometimes sleeping is what the body is looking for and you need to respect and honor your body at all times.  I find that with a purpose you will generally stay awake.  Know also even if you do fall asleep you have received the beneficial suggestions and healing anyway from you meditation.  Your mind may not be able to recall it, but your subconscious will know.

 2. Absolutely know going into any meditation that you can and will be able to do it.  Know that it is easy.  Know that you don’t have to be a visual person to get the most from your meditations.  (See the chapter on different person types in meditation.)  Close your eyes and affirm the following before any meditation:

”I am able to meditate very easily” (Repeat this three times.)

“I am getting better at meditating every day” (Repeat this three times.)

“I allow myself to be a clear and open channel to my higher self” (Repeat this three times.)

“I allow myself to receive healing and knowledge from my higher self” (Repeat this three times.)  You can use all or just one of these affirmations if you feel blocked to meditating just before you meditate.

 3. Do not compare yourself with how other people meditate or how you have meditated in the past.  Be a clean slate.  You are a unique individual and approach life in different ways.  In my classes, no two people get the same things from their meditations.  It is a beautiful thing when you connect with spirit.  Each experience is personal and very healing.

 4. Do not wonder how you feel or how you should feel.  Most of the time you will be aware of what you are doing and where you are.  Forget what you have already learned if you are having difficultly meditating right now.  Start over with a new and fresh approach.  Most people are aware of their surroundings while they meditate.  Sometimes you will go into trance and a lot of beneficial healing occurs here.  Do not be afraid of doing this.  This too gets easier with practice.

 5. Do not be afraid of going into a trance.  This is normal when you get real good at the meditating process.  If you are listening to a tape or CD, such as the ones that I recommend with this book, there are a lot of suggestions for ‘deep relaxation’, follow them in.  Always know that you are in control and you can come out of it at any time you want to.  Now, if you were having a wonderful experience, why would you want to come out of it?

 6. Keeping a journal by your side is great, so that you can jot down any ideas or messages that you receive.  This can help you make sense of what you are doing or what happened later.

 7. Do not try to analyze any thoughts or feelings as they are coming to you.  There will be plenty of time for that later.  Just know that you are enjoying your meditation and allow yourself to experience the beneficial suggestions that come from your meditation.
