What is a Reading? A Snapshot In Time

Yes. Reading spiritual books does help. However, it is a process. I have callers asking for books to read because they want to start make changes. They want to know that they too can make a difference in their own lives. By all means, they can and that is why I often tell people to try and do work at home, if possible. In order for the books to help, its important that you remember their function. Picking a book, detailed in meditations is helpful, if you are willing to meditate. However, if you aren't that is fine. There are books that teach lessons and don't emphasize meditations. Of course, I believe in the power of meditation. However, everyone has different methods. Books are interesting aids because as you progress, re-reading a book can give you a different outlook than the initial one you had when first reading the book. I often go back into my library for just that purpose. It is a great way for me to check in with myself.

Just remember that every day is a lesson. Sometimes the lesson is a nice one like realizing that one has overcome a challenge. Maybe you learned to mind your financial budget. However, sometimes the lesson is that there is still some tweaking to be done. Geez that "Long Lost Love" that doesn't really ever surface for long. If you keep having the same challenge the lesson within the challenge must be mastered. Mastering a lesson doesn't have to be overwhelming. The steps in working through a lesson are: 1) Identify the problem. 2) Is this the first time experiencing it? 3) If not, how did you work through the challenge? -Did you run, confront, semi overcome? 4) Create an action plan. 5) Measure it's effectiveness. If you are having trouble doing such a reading may be helpful.

Life is like that. It gives us "reflections" daily. Try to remember that this weekend. I personally can say that I have to remind myself of this. However, with practice it comes easier. Just wanted to remind everyone that true love is a partnership. If you get stuck in what seems a neverending chase...try to parallel it to the job market.

So many of us need work..yet we all have parameters to be met. We want to be paid a certain pay rate, receive it consistently, have some time off (and know the work is there when we return) and know that our loyalty will be met with loyalty. Ok. I know some jobs don't work quite like that. Yet, that is the ideal.

Honestly a good reader is priceless. A good reader is able to accurately assess situations and provide you with options. Being able to have someone give an unbiased reading on situation can be the difference between pipe dreams and dream manifestation.
