Tonight I was listening to one of my favorite TV preachers give a sermon. Now mind you, I do not consider myself religious, only spiritual and embracing anything that moves me closer to peace and love. But I do partake of a few television figures who give inspiring messages, religious or not. And I heard this particular one utter something that really 'sparked' for me, you know when someone says something and it just jumps out at you? she said "we know in part, we prophecy in part". Of course she was quoting some biblical scripture, but suddenly i felt like a revolving question in my mind had been answered.
As a professional reader who puts a lot of study heart and soul into my work, I tend to take it seriously, perhaps a bit too intensely at times. Readings are supposed to be fun, insightful, and somewhat entertaining, and not an exact science of course, however i do believe in the gifts readers have to shine a light and prophecy and predict the future to a close degree of accuracy. So on the occasions that I miss a prediction, of course it bothers me. I wonder why I hit the mark lots of times but missed that particular time. Some of this analyzing may be positive, as we can always identify factors that allow us to do our best work and those factors which may throw us off kilter. However, I felt a clear message in that bit of scripture, 'we know in part'. I realized no matter how gifted, how centered and focused, and how 'on our game' we readers are, there are times when spirit itself interferes with our accuracy. Sometimes this is because the future prediction would simply not be in the best interest of others to know. However, overall spirit/God wants to remind us we are human, and we can't possibly know everything, nor are we meant to, both as readers and as receivers of readings. Some mystery is necessary. Does this mean it is wrong to want to know the future? of course not, I feel it's often beneficial, peace giving, even life saving at times, and a good reader is an invaluable source of information, insight, counsel, comfort and encouragement and I wouldn't give up my favorite reader for anything. But I as a reader and you as a beloved client must realize that we will never know all that we wish to know, it is part of the design of the universe. the scriptiures clearly exalt the gift of prophecy (a.k.a. predicting certain future events and facts), but even there it comes the warning that we will only know in part and prophecy in part. It is delicious when we are given a glimpse or a heads up of what's ahead, but let's revel in the mystery of what we don't know as well, and lets trust that our guides and angels are always at work, giving us the information we need through trusted readers and earthly vessels, and protecting us from what we're better off not knowing. I'm delighted when the emails and calls pour in about predictions that have come true and brought joy to my clients, and equally so when something I have been told (especially something good) comes to fruition. Even if some things happen differently than we see or hear, we can trust that we will always be given enough pieces of the puzzle ahead of time to continue to know, at least in part, where we're headed.

I have been pondering an idea here lately, about speaking affirmations,
and other spiritual "work" we do to create or manifest our desires.
What my guides have been showing me is, that these things we do, made
more popular by the film 'The Secret', in actuality are ways that we
receive or access what has already been GIVEN to us in the spiritual
realm. That's right, every single desire you have had, or could ever
have, is given to you the MOMENT you desire it or ask for it, granted
to you by a loving universe, and it is sitting in an "inheritance
account" in the ethers, waiting to be claimed by you on the earth, and
thus "manifested".
So we don't really 'create' anything
because the Creator has already done the hard part for us, we simply
say yes to receiving what we already
have. THIS is why
affirmations must be stated in the present tense, and this is also why
it's not a lie when you say "I have x amount of dollars now" even if
your pocket is currently empty.
I was shown tonight that
speaking positive affirmations is simply like punching in your PIN into
the ATM machine, the money is already in your account, the machine even
does the work of dispensing the money to you, within a few seconds or a
minute. The same process happens within the cosmo's, we realize we want
something and decide to do the spiritual treatments to receive it on
this earth, this is like deciding you want to withdraw fifty dollars
and driving up to the ATM machine to do it.
Next, we DO the
spiritual treatment work (such as speaking the affirmations,
visualizing, making a vision board, or whatever we know to do), this is
like punching in your PIN. Now the very next step is where we have the
hardest time, the waiting for the desire to be "dispensed" to us in its
earthly material form. This final part of the process is like waiting
for the ATM to dispense the money. We have no trouble with the ATM
machine's timing because we have more faith in IT than in the universe
usually, this is due to fear or a lack of experience.
Because with
the ATM machine scenario, after we punch in our PIN, we wait
trustingly, patiently, confidently, and expectantly, and we don't press
CANCEL on the ATM machine, right? However, in life, after doing our
spiritual treatment work, many of us have waited IMpatiently,
UNtrustingly, full of doubt and fear, not sure if it will come, or if
it will come on time, some of us even press the CANCEL by uttering
negative words or visualizing negative scenarios that oppose what we
wanted!!! Of course this is all part of the faith building process, and
with experience, we develop more trust and positive expectation.
The thing to realize is, each
desire that we seek to manifest has a different timing, a perfect divine timing, the
perfect season or moment for it to appear in our lives. The universe
WANTS it to come as fast as would be good, and it knows things we
don't, so here is where our full trust is necessary if we want to wait
peacefully without losing hope. Sometimes we cause delays by our
negative actions or thoughts but my guide told me of a simple way to safeguard against this happening:
Here
is where the help of the Angelic realm comes in handy. Did you know you
can actually assign an Angel (or more than one even) to each desire
you'd like to manifest, then after doing your spiritual treatment work,
ask the Angel to help you to NOT negate the process with impatience,
lack of trust, or negative words or images. You can also ask the Angel
to protect the manifestation from any negative words you say or
negative actions or distrust should you slip, and still "dispense" your
desired manifestation in its perfect divine timing ANYWAY. Angels are
powerful and love us so much they can and will do this for us!
I
know for me, being told that my affirmations or visualizations were
like punching in my ATM machine PIN to receive what was already mine in
spirit helped me relax and not feel the burden of "I have to MAKE it
happen " or the waiting frustration when I did spiritual treatments to manifest my desires.
Finally, one question that I've heard is, if we want to receive or manifest a desire, do we HAVE to do this inner work? My answer is not always, because every desire is granted in spirit the moment you want it, many times it shows up on the earth plane anyway, especially given the fact that the universe WANTS to help us receive it. However, doing this work, in a fun way that doesn't feel like a chore, will help us feel more confident about receiving and help us endure the waiting period. But it also helps us to feel we are partnering with spirit in manifesting our desires, in other words, it helps us feel in control of our destiny rather than passively sitting around wondering if what we want will ever come. Also, doing this work ensures that we don't HOLD BACK our manifestation with our negativity.
So, now armed
with this knowledge, we have no excuse not to receive the manifestation
of our desires in their perfect time, because how easy is it to say
some affirmations and assign some angels to our desires? As easy as
punching in your PIN of course :)

This is going to be brief in simple. I know from things like the secret we hear that money is unlimited. Most of us have a hard time wrapping our brain around that one, because it would seem that surely the supply ends at some dollar amount, especially if it's backed by natural resources such as gold. So how can that really be? The more analytical types have a harder time with really BELIEVING that money is unlimited, thus they shut down their receiving.
But here is a couple things I have learned that convinced my analytical mind:
1. As Randolph Price (a.k.a. famous abundance author) says, Money stands for "My Own Natural Energy Yield". So money is just a physical reflection of our source energy, the energy of abundance within us. And since that energy is unlimited, how much money we can attract is also unlimited, determined by how much we can believe and thus receive!
2. Another thing that really helped cement this idea for me was, I once heard Sanaya Roman say that money is really a circulation we get into. So there is no limit to how much money we can receive and give inside of a circle. In fact, the more we give the more we receive and the more we receive the more we tend to give. We're just channels that money flows through, and there's no limit to how much can go through us.
So remember, your soul has unlimited abundance for you, as your birthright and inheritance, but you must CLAIM it, in your thoughts, beliefs, and when you own this truth, you will open your receiving channel so it can flow to you and through you. THINK BIG, THINK UNLIMITED, ASK, and enjoy the RECEIVING.

So I've just had a birthday. I felt myself backing away from this one, it's starting to get up there. Of course who doesn't want to maintain youthfulness and remain healthy and strong etc., but we are so inundated with negative paradigms around the topic of aging. Even the word 'aging' makes me cringe a bit, I mean what are we, cheese? So I am laying in bed, waiting for sleep, and as it often does, unresolved little snags from the day or week creep into my thoughts, looking for some answer. And then it hit me, age, what age? Do I really know my real age? I suppose it depends on your beliefs, but if you believe as I do in the soul and past lives and eternal being, how many of us could ever say how old we really are? And then my eureka came, hey I am not thirty something, my lifetime is! This precious, unrepeatable lifetime (as each one is) has entered a new year. Suddenly I found myself relaxing and welcoming this new year that my lifetime has entered, embracing it with wonder for what it may hold, what lessons what pleasures what gifts what joys...and there's no fear now. Because I now see what was always true, on the one hand, we're all so old we can't possibly know exactly how old, a thousand, ten thousand? Only God knows how long ago in linear measurable time our spirit was first conceived by His love. And Einstein said time is an illusion, a tool of the earth plane, so perhaps there really is no time, which would mean we are "age less" anyhow. Then I think about how I know seventy year olds who live the life of forty year olds, and I once saw a man of one hundred and three tumbling around a field on TV, so youthful and full of life, isn't even this age and time all relative? Ah, if there's one good thing about insomnia, is it can give you fodder or insight for blogging ;) Hopefully I can get some shut eye now! See you in dreamland in a few!

As a psychic I get the "soulmate" question quite frequently. Most people think of their soulmate as that idealized one true love who fits them perfectly, their happily ever after. Do I think this is fairytale hogwash? Actually no, I do believe in this idea to a certain degree. However, I have come to know that kind of "key in lock fit" (or our "other half") by the label of
twin flame. Now I know lots of readers stay away from that phrase. I can understand why: after having studied everything I could find on soulmates and twin flames, I too found myself utterly confused. All the books and all the guru's on the subject said conflicting things, what to do? Well fortunately, through some personal experiences as well as channeling my own guide, I have come to a clearer understanding of these two concepts. The books out there usually have a piece of the truth, but one should always stack things up against direct experience as well I believe.
You may have heard some people say that soulmates can be of all different stripes, appearing in your life as lovers, family, friends, and even pets! I however categorize non romantic connections as soul connections but I do not call them soulmates, as the second half of the word - "mate" - implies a romantic or lover type of relationship. In my book, a soulmate is one of your few closest souls (I believe we have a handful of those), who to some capacity at least, manifests your "twin flame". What is a twin flame? Your twin flame is the other half of your own spirit or being who was created with you and then split from you eons ago, only God knows when and where. Yes, your very own other half, your perfect fit (how glorious that the fairytale exists!). This twin flame is therefore your mirror image energetically, and so it is a passionate and romantic experience when you connect. In addition, you both would feel a comfortable feeling that you are finally "coming home".
On the earth plane, one of several people ("soulmates") can manifest your twin flame (who is pure spirit). So, each soulmate could potentially become a twin flame to you. The reason we think "the one", is because we dream of a soulmate who can fully manifest our
one and only twin flame. Most often, whoever you meet reflects your own growth and lessons in some way. So, if you want more of your twin flame to manifest (either through a currently present soulmate, or a future soulmate) all you have to do is work on YOURSELF. That's right, the more you evolve, the easier it is to attract a soulmate with whom you can share pure love. And then, that love would birth the twin flame's energy through your partner and in your relationship.
What I am able to tell a client, is whether the current partner is a
soulmate, and how probable it is that this will become a "twin flame"
relationship, and whether any other (better fit) soulmates are on the
horizon.
From my own experience, I can tell you that I have had soulmates who manifested the twin flame for moments at a time, and it is an experience of absolute rapture, an emotional heaven!
So its well worth the self work, the waiting, the groans and moans we
go through on our way to this wonderful union that awaits us all at
some point in the future.
One final detail, since your twin flame is pure spirit, and thus a genderless being, it can manifest through conventional (read "straight") and non conventional (i.e. gay) relationships. So no matter what your preference, you can still experience a soulmate twin flame relationship (I hear some sighs of relief :)

I often get asked the question, can psychics read for themselves accurately? of course I can only speak for myself as a psychic, but my personal experience has been, sometimes.
Really! I know many psychics say "never", but in my experience (some of which I will share below), there have been instances where I have been surprised at my accuracy for myself, and other times where I have felt stupified by my lack of ability to see the truth clearly in my own life.
In my case, I do intuitive tarot, which is reading tarot cards in a way that combines my psychic emapthic and intuitive skills also. I have gotten many messages for myself that later proved accurate with this method. I have also been able to judge people's character accurately simply by sensing their energy and vibration (thus avoiding many a negative potential acquaintance).
However, the downfall has been in my own love relationships. Perhaps its such an emotionally charged area of life, that even a psychic can't see through the fog of personal emotions. For example, a recent ex reeled me into a horrible trap by telling such whopper lies right from the start that I was having a relationship with the lies rather than the person behind them. Of course, in hindsight, I did sense certain things here and there, but perhaps we all ignore the red flags when things are still new. So eventually it became apparent that this loony toon was a pathological liar and I ran so fast I must have left skid marks. But it's hard to live with such folly when you're a psychic, I've kicked myself many a time for not having picked up on it in the very beginning.
So I say, yes I believe if a psychic can stay detached enough and really wants to receive true guidance, they can read or "channel" for themselves.

I don't know about you, but I am always looking for quick, practical ways to find peace, spiritually center myself, or to remind myself of my relationship with that Source energy (also known as "higher power", God, etc.)
Especially in times of personal challenge or trial, or collective situations such as the current economy, it's important to frequently touch base with our source point of power, in order to fill ourselves up with its comfort, guidance, peace, and reassurance that we are watched over and cared for.
Here's a great little resource I wanted to share. The following once sentence "prayers", have been adapted from 'A Course in Miracles'. Those who are familiar with A Course in Miracles may notice that the word "You" (with a capital Y) has replaced the word "God" in some of these. This was done in order to increase that sense of intimacy, and because some people prefer not to use the "G" word. So, I encourage everyone to pick one or two of these that resonate with you and repeat it in your mind through out the day, on a day when you may need that extra comfort or reassurance from your Higher Power/Source Energy.
You are not fear, but Love.
You, being Love, are also happiness.
Your will for me is perfect happiness.
You are with me, I live and move in You.
You are the strength in which I trust.
I rest in You.
Your peace is with me, I am safe.

It's been a while since I've written a blog, but I felt compelled to write on this topic as so many people are wondering what will happen to them in these times financially. I hear so much of a sense of powerlessness and fear in people's voices when they contact me about this topic. And I wanted to share what my guides and angels have been telling me through the years about creating a personal economy of abundance and prosperity no matter what the larger economic picture looks like.
Firstly, it must be said that, the one core common factor of all the religions and spiritual and philisophical and self help paths is, the idea that we must believe in something beyond what we see with our physical eyes. It's the core principle of metaphysics, that we see what we BELIEVE, not the other way around. Einstein proved this phenomenon in a sense with his famous formula E = MC2, which says that Energy = Matter. So our personal energy, our thoughts feelings perceptions and energetic vibration literally create all the matter in our individual lives. This is good news, it means if we can think it we can create it!!
Another thing that is important to understand is, we do not have to be at the mercy of what others believe. We can create our lives according to our personal beliefs. We believe this when it comes to certain things, but for some reason it seems the majority of us have not extended this to our finances and money.
The fact is, we are spiritual beings having a human experience. As that spiritual being, your legacy and heritage is one of UNLIMITED prosperity and abundance. You don't so much have to "create" prosperity, as simply learn to bring into the physical world what you ALREADY have in the spiritual realm of your existence. It's similar to having a bank account full of money, but if you don't withdraw what you have say using an atm machine, you wont benefit from the wealth you already own.
So now, we get to the "how". How do withdraw this spiritual inheritance and bring it into our earthly reality?
Some very powerful techniques that I have used, seen others use with success, and studied are:
- speaking and writing positive affirmations
-putting our desires into writing
- creative visualization (daydreaming about what we want as if we already have it NOW)
- making vision boards
-prayer (or asking/requesting from the universe for everything you wish for and want, if the idea of prayer sounds too religious for you)
-meditation (I recommend the meditations found at orindaben.com, they have some for money, success, and everything you could need or want to create in your life including health, loving relationships, attracting your soulmate, creative writing, losing weight, and more! They are affordable and they work real well for many people I've talked to.)
I suggest picking one or two of these "manifestation" techniques and working with them, be sure to make it fun and playful and not like a "chore". And once you got those down, add another technique. This is a different type of work, an inner work but believe me it can have powerful effects in the external world!! Many of the wealthiest and most powerful people in history have used these techniques to some degree in order to get as far as they did!
The final thing I have to say is, give it some time. How much time? Until you see the physical manifestation of course! No one can say how long the seeds of your particular desires will take to grow and bear fruit in your life. You must give it as long as it takes, some things may take a few weeks or even days, other things could take a year or more. You must experiment and stay flexible and trust the timing of things. Having said that though, I honestly think you will start seeing results so quick if you do this type of work daily (or almost daily), that you will feel motivated to try it on more and more desires in your life, and won't even notice the time it takes because you'll be too busy enjoying the process and anticipating the positive results!

On my first day of feeling somewhat well again after a flu ordeal, I felt this feeling of gratitude well up inside of me suddenly, for simple things like being able to breathe freely out of my nose, my headache having cleared up, having the energy to walk around, and enough wellness to enjoy life again. And it reminded me of the power of gratitude. In the past, I had felt resistance to the whole "list what you're grateful for" types of ideas, because I felt like the gurus of gratitude were either nagging at me to force myself to feel grateful, or else almost like guilting me into feeling gratitude with a tone of "you better be grateful...".
But my own "aha" revelation with gratitude has come through my personal experience with it. And what I've come to realize is that gratitude is most powerful when it is a natural feeling rising out of our heart without it being forced. Secondly, it's power lies in the fact that when we feel grateful, it's because we've been able to really experience and observe the goodness of life. In doing so we are affirming all that is so good in life that it inspires our hearts to feel grateful. Of course whenever we are emotionally in touch with the goodness of life, we tune into it and by the law of attraction we attract more of that goodness to us and into our lives. Hence the age old adage that is everywhere from the bible to modern new age books about the power of feeling gratitude and giving thanks.
So what I remind myself now is, to pay attention to the times when gratitude rises out of my heart, and once the feeling is there, take full advantage of it by letting it flow about as many things as I can think of, i.e. once I felt gratitude for my regained sense of wellness, I made it a point to notice other things I felt similarly grateful for, such as the beautiful bay window in the living room and the very tall and beautiful green leaved tree that is planted just outside of it, for the cozy apartment I live in, for living in a safe place, for living in a free country etc. etc. I try to make a game of it, to see how long I can "stretch" the feeling, and how many things I can apply it to. Lets put it this way, it's like when you have a scrumptious piece of cake in front of you, and you really try to stretch it out by taking slow smaller bites and savoring each one. I thought I'd share this take on feeling gratitude, in case it'd resonate with anybody, since this approach made it easier for me to finally embrace the gratitude thing, without feeling forced or "guilted" into it :)

If you had been taught about a God who is not completely loving, or that God would EVER want you to suffer in any way, any kind of fearful God, here are some positive affirmations that can help you feel and see God in a new light, as a loving Being who is always with you, and wants to fulfill your heart's desires. Even if you don't really know what God is, that is okay. Doing these can eventually give you a sense of God for yourself, and God will reveal to you a personal experience of Him/HerSelf that works best for you. I recommend saying these aloud to yourself once a day, and notice the added peace and joy that comes into your life.
God is Love.
God is my creator, and loves me more than I have ever experienced Love.
God is only and all good-ness.
God has good plans for me and desires all good for me.
God's Will for me is all loving and all good.
God's desires for me exceed my best imaginings and hopes and dreams!
God is my protector, my provider, my healer, my comforter, my helper, my guide, my companion, my forever friend, and my Greatest Angel.
God is with me, in me, around me, and beside me.
God created me, and He knows me and understands me better than anybody!
God cares about me. God loves me. I can trust Him. (or Her if it works better for you)
God is my home and my sanctuary. I rest in Him.
(please note, I have used the word He or His to refer to God merely out of convenience, as I believe God is an all encompassing energy that is both He and She and beyond.)
Did you know that lots of times God is actually speaking to you through your desires? It took me a long time to realize that maybe just maybe, God wants me to have my heart's desires. Religious and cultural upbringing often make us believe in a God who wants to deny us, or at the least wants us to have what we need to scrape by but certainly not what we want and desire! This was the case with me. Recently I have been doing a lot of work with the art of allowing. And one revelation I received was this: I felt Spirit was showing me that often, when we have a desire, it's really not "oh God please can I have this?", it's more like God is saying, um, hello dear, knock knock, I have this wonderful thing that I want to give you, will you say yes and allow it into your life? our response to desire should be a big YES! yes, I desire this, thank you God for wanting to give me this wonderful thing that makes me feel so good, now please work through me and beyond me to arrange all the situations and circumstances so that I can have this. We trust God to bring our desires to fruition, by His/Her almighty power working through us and beyond us in circumstances and other people.
Why else do you think your desires FEEL GOOD? God is a loving God, God is an energy of pure joy and rapture, and His Desires for us reflect His very Being. I encourage you to begin seeing God (whatever name you know Him or Her by) in this light, and allow all the marvelous desires that He's placed in your heart to come to fruition by saying YES to them, and knowing that from that moment on, you've planted a seed that is sure to grow and bring harvest, by His power!
Note: A common question I get is, what if my desire is to be with a specific person? I always say, then the same rule applies, only we are dealing with two people's will. If the two people are in agreement, that is, they share the same desire to be together and they are in harmony on that desire, then God can work His miracles to bring and keep them together through any obstacles. I recommend joint prayer or meditation in these types of situations. On the other hand, if it's one sided, sometimes the desire is simply God saying, I have something like this in store for you down the line. I'm preparing you for somebody who will make you feel this way. This is a glimpse, a vision, of what I have for you. But either way. I always say, honor your every desire, because I sincerely believe, desire is the way our loving Source/Creator speaks to us of the wonderful things He has in store for us, if only we would open and allow them in!
As you may know by now, how good your intuitive/psychic reader can read for you is partly up to you. The majority of the people who do this have some level of a gift. As you can see by looking at most of the listings here on keen, most of the readers have gotten a good amount of "five stars" from callers. So, what I want to share with you is how to make sure that you open the way for our gift to work on your behalf.
I am sure I am not the only one who has been "tested" by a caller. What happens in these situations is a caller calls and asks a question they either already know the answer to, or have no intention of wanting to know because the question is about a made up scenario. This type of behavior often "clogs" our psychic channel instead of opening it wide for you. Why? because the energy of doubt and fear is constricting and affects the psychic's sensitive intuition from working at its best. If you want to know if we're capable of "getting it wrong", of course we are. That's like saying, if you're a pro tennis player, you should hit every ball and score every time! Now we realize that's absurd to expect even of a pro tennis player. But people often expect this kind of "perfect" track record from a psychic!
What I suggest is, first of all, pick your reader wisely. Browse the listings, listen to your intuition, see who "feels" good for you, etc. Then, once you have picked a psychic to call, take a moment to affirm to them telepathically, something like "I know that you have some kind of gift, and I now encourage and affirm that when you read for me, your gifts open up to their best capacity and work well on my behalf. I affirm that Spirit speaks through you to answer my questions and help me."
This creates a much more positive space and opens the potentials in your psychic reader to serve you best. The law of attraction also works in your favor then, to hook you up with the right psychic for you in that moment, and to draw out of them the best possible reading for you. Expect good and you are much more likely to receive it, from life, and even from your psychic reading!
