Helped Me Sell My House

Tradition has it that St. Joseph is the patron saint of real estate and single mothers. So there is a little meditation and promise to make when asking Joseph to help sell real estate. By taking a little statue or even a nicely framed picture and burying it under the for sale sign with the promise that when the house sells you will place the statue or framed picture in a place of honor in your new home.

St. Joseph is our friend on the other side of life. He is considered a saint because of his love for God and his love for Jesus. We speak to him just like we speak to any dear friend. His prayers for us are powerful because on the other side of life he is held in high esteem.

I placed my house on the market and within two short weeks it sold.. I made it plain to all that I worked with that St. Joseph was being asked to help with this sale.

This is the third time I have asked St Joseph to help sell a house in the last seven years. The first time in 2004 my house sold within 24 hours after it went into MLS. The second time took some time because it was in a seasonal market. In all three sales St. Joseph has been by side.

Living in the NOW

There is no stress when we live in the present time. Stress is in the past and in the future. In the now there is no stress. We can use our logical mind to guide us when we are in now.

So when we are back in time. we can feel the anger, depression, unfairness, and all the negatives we have experienced over time. We cannot change this. The past is old business. We must resolve the past over time with forgiveness and forgetting. As we work at this the past will lose the power to hurt us over and over again.

We cannot ,live in the future. As much as we like to dream of what may come, we cannot live there yet. We like having a glimpse of our path ahead but we cannot live that life today.

So back to the now.

As we find ourself leave the now and go back to the past or into the future there is a simple exercise than can hasten our thoughts to the now. Simply begin to look at your surrounding and say what you see. Say there is the wall, there is the ceiling, there is the chair, there is the tv, there is the window, there is the curtain, there is the rug, there is the door and etc. BINGO! You are back to the logical world where you belong. There is no stress here, there is a mind that can solve problems and move forward. Do this simple exercise as often as needed to keep you on track.

Remember there is no stress in the now. Stress is in the future and in the past. Options and moving forward are in the now.

THE MENTAL MALE

One of the main four personality types is the mental male. About eighty - five percent of men fall in this catergory. If you are an emotional female this is most likly the personality of your significant other. The reason being opposites attract.

The mental male is a logical thinker. He is mainly focused on money or business. This man is aggressive about his career. Work is fun and a challenge to him. He is the man that slayed the dragons in days gone by.

His second area of interest is his hobbies. In his non working hours he is into sports or what trips his imagination in a competitive way. He likes to compete.

His third area of interest is his family. He is generally responsible for his children. He likes to see his children become sucessful people. After all their sucess reflects on him.

The fourth area of focus is his love life. This fact is a concern for his significant other whose first focus is the her love life. The mental male enjoys his love life for pleasure and has no emotional attachment in the intimate behavior. This is another concern for his partner the emotional female who considers intimate behavior as love and most important in her life. This fact is what causes all the turmoil, divorces, disloyality and years of sadness. Most mental males are disloyal out of boredom but most are smart enough not to get caught.

So the answer to this continual problem might be ...to look at people like Jackie Kennedy, Hillary Clinton, Eleanor Roosevelt, Princess Diane as a guide to what the emotional female can do to weather the storms. Because the storms are very likely to occur.

Bottom line is the mental male thinks with very little emotion. He is logical. He is focused on getting what he wants. The lady he wants as a partner improves his self image. She may be beautiful , smart and educated, a good mother for his children or wealthy. The way to this man heart is through his hobbies as that is what he enjoys when not making money. Certainly not his money and certainly not his unemotional intimate life. Being an accepting friend is the best bet.

By the way, when a lady meets a mental male, he will appear as if he is very emotional. He will be loving, attentive, excited about his intimate life and adoring. Once he knows you have fallen in love and he is secure, then and only then, will he return to who he really is the mental man. It will be like night and day. So expect the big change for it will surely happen.

THE EMOTIONAL FEMALE

People have been divided into four types. The emotional female, the emotional male, the mental male and the mental female. We are going to begin this ciscussion with the first type.......the emotional female.

The emotional female, in general is a very loving person. She usually dresses well with frilly lacey colorful clothes. She most likely will have long or to the shoulder hair. She probably will like jewelry. She loves make up. Nice shoes could be a part of her wardrobe. Nails may be nicely done. She usually looks good and ready for the red carpet.

This gal loves the home. She loves children and small furry creatures. She is sweet.

She dreams of romance and a big wedding with all the trimmings.

Love is all important. There is very little thought of more logical situations...like career choices that pay well, paying the mortgage, building her own credit score and getting financial stability.

Love is number 1 with this girl and everything else will just fall in place.

For the most part love is 1, family is 2, hobbies are 3 and career is four.

But sure to happen, this lady will only be attracted to her opposite, a mental male. This is were the problem begins. The mental male is opposite of her in every way. I repeat in every way. Opposites attract. So for awhile everything seems perfect. The couple goes through the honeymoon period. This could last from weeks to years and then the boredom of the mental male sets in and the break up happens.

Now the emotional female is devastated. She bonded so well to her partner...just like super glue. Unfortunately, the partner does not bond because of love. Recovery from this could take some time and great losses in her life could occur.

So how does the sweet personality avoid this mishap in her life. It is easy ....never never never fall in love before the ring is on the finger, the roof is put over the head, the food is on the table, and the money is committed to the relatioship ...her money and his money combined for a life style. For marriage is a business. It is done in the court house with legal contracts that are difficult at times to break.

So in the dark wee hours of nightfall, when you hear the words, I LOVE YOU, just say and what will you do about it and when.

Hopefully, you can gain insight into the ups and downs of finding a mate. Hopefully you can prvent the devastation that can occur from a broken heart. Go slow in giving your heart away and have an assurance that love will be respected, appreciated and so well received.

The Karmic Wheel

The Karmic Wheel

Sometimes we find ourselves caught on the Karmic Wheel of repeating ourselves over and over. Going round and around expericing the same thing over and over. Round and around we go. The same event over and over with no change. Maybe the names change. Maybe the place changes. But alas the result is the same. We end up back where we started. Doomed to repeat the cycle again and again. Our world grows smaller and smaller. The spiral goes down and down.

Perhaps a broken relationship created this spiral. Perhaps a loss of a job put us on this merry go round of despair. Any unresolved situation could place us on the Karmic Wheel. There we hang. We are stuck. Sometimes we cannot even recognize the situation. We may kick and scream. We may cry to the Heavens but we still make that same cycle digging the rut deeper and deeper.

Now to get off the wheel takes effort and learning. We must learn the lesson. What did we miss. What did we not learn in the broken relationship. What did we miss in the loss of a job. How could we have prevented what came to be an unhappy event in our lives. What step did we miss. We are sure to hang on that wheel of repetition until we find that missing link. That link that sets us free. We must learn the lesson.

Change change becomes the name of the game. Change the style of clothes we wear. Move the furniture in our home all around. Drive a different route to shopping or work. Eat different food. Get a new hair style. Walk backward, sideways, hop, skip and even jump. You might even change your name. It is all about change.

When you find yourself thinking in a box with only one way out, you will know you are on that Karmic Wheel. Life is a straight line moving forward. Life is not a circle. So when something ends, like it or not, move on to the new. Life is full of new beginnings, new chapters and new journeys. Always keep the suitcase packed for you never know when that new day will come.

INNER PEACE

INNER PEACE

I heard a lecture by a very succesful physicist and stockbroker. He spoke about inner peace and how it helped make his big dollars. Most of us are very troubled at this time with our finances. Maybe we are concerned with keeping what we have. Maybe we just need a job. Maybe we need to save a house.

He feels that inner peace is the answer to THE SECRET. Knowing what we want and focusing on that dream is certainly important in the journey to our dream. But it can be reached by inner peace. He believes that we must come to terms with any anger, chaos, dishonesty, hate and etc. The negativity must be elimanated as much as possible.

Of course this is a major task. It must be worked at with pure determination.

So with our significant other we must come to peace. We must live comfortably with this person. There must be acceptance of the other one. We accept not change.

Our work becomes place to achieve inner peace. We do the job and go home. That is why we are there. So give an honest days work for the pay. We do not waste time. We do not gossip. We do not complain. We do not take from the hand that feeds us. We perform and go home. If we cannot do this it is hurting you and the company. Therefore, how could you have inner peace. So do what you love, really really love. Inner peace will follow.

The other day I was having my hair done. The girl who did my hair was the first to arrive every day, made the coffee, brought in treats and sometimes lunch and even deorations for the shop. You could tell she truly loved her job. Could not wait to get there and bring on the new day. My hair sure looked good when I left there. Of course it would with that kind of energy.

So the point is, bring inner peace into your life. Be thankful for what you have. Ask a Higher Power to help you with the jouney to inner peace. Sure we have a very troubled world. So it is the best time ever to begin that road to inner peace.

Who knows maybe that dream will just jump in the boat with you. At any rate, it will be obvious when you have mastered inner peace.

Put the Number 8 In Your Wallet

While listening to "Coast to Coast," I heard George mention that if you are going to Vegas be sure to put an "8" in your wallet. Now that caught my attention. I study gambling and love the casino.

I know money vibrates to a number "8." So it makes sense to do this if you want the win.

So, on Halloween I went to the new casino grand opening with the "8" in my wallet.. It was so packed.....Could hardly move.

I tried three machines...no luck.

Then I found a machine about enchanting islands. Played for about an hour up and down. Then I hit about six hundred. I had the "8" in my wallet. I went home.

I think putting the number "8" in a safe place like pasted to the top of my mailbox out of sight, like pasted to my doors out of sight and as a part of my passwords or email names would be a good start in attracting abundance.

PUTTING OUT A FLEECE

In the book of JUDGES man spoke to GOD saying:
"Look, I will place a wool fleece on the threshing floor. If there is dew only on the fleece and all the ground is dry, then I will know that you will save Israel by my hand, as you said."

Sometimes we are very troubled by a decision or a choice that must be made. We search for the answer but it does not come. It seems the door to HEAVEN is closed to us. So we can turn to the BIBLE for wisdom.

We can put out a fleece. (A fleece in the Bible was a piece of lambs wool.) So we can say to the UNIVERSE, if I am to take this trip. buy this house, get a new car or whatever you are questioning, you can put out the fleece. To do this you simply say I will get a red rose, I will see a pink elephant or I will find a long feather by my front door if I am to have this object.

So then you go about your business. If in a few days this object appears as a sign from the UNIVERSE you will know what to do. Of course, if the sign does not appear then it is a "no."

So the next time you wrestle with a choice give this a try.

To begin we need to learn to meditate. Right now you are in the "beta" world where the mind vibrates at 14 cycles or more.. When you meditate you are slowing your mind down to 7 cycles, which is "alpha "

To do this you find a comfortable spot that is quiet and warm. You sit upright and focus at a spot where the ceiling and the wall seem to meet. You defocus your eyes. You slowly begin to count backwards from 100 . You tell yourself "it is a wonderful healthy feelng to relax." You tell yourself "to go deeper." Stay awake. As you progress it your ability to meditate and arrive at "alpha." you will be at the level of the mind that communicates with others at a distance, where the body heals itself and where you can program your mind for your goals.

Do you feel you cannot move forward, maybe you cannot even move backwards, or you cannot turn to the left and you cannot even turn to the right. Then you have entered the zone called POLORIZED. A not at all fun place to be. You are in a stagnant position.

It may seem that as you try to move toward positive changes you are overwhelmed by the negative problems and find yourself giving up to the negative forces. A single Mom often finds this situation to be in her life. As she tries to be competitive in the market place she is taken down by the demands of parenting. She must provide costly childcare, meet the schedules of her children, be forever vigilant, and transport her charges here and there. While the single person can easily meet the demands of a career because it is them and the job. Sometimes age, physical disabilities, education, the economy etc. bring us to the standstill.

It may seem that when we give into the negative, really positive solutions seems to appear. Again we start that trip toward the sunshine and the good. However. once again we collapse into the pain of the giant problems of the darkness.

So what is the answer to this never ending struggle.

We rise above it and this is how. We begin to do the things we thought we could never do. If we need a job, we increase the number of interviews we do in a week or the number of resume we mail. If we cannot find a life partner we increase our social skills. We learn to dance, to bowl and to play cards etc. We do makeovers, lose weight, we tone, we get the best hair cut, we do to modeling school and we look for self improvement classes etc. If we need more money we get training in a skill that pays, we learn to invest, we look for home based business for extra work, we prospect for side jobs, we interview people who are making money for new ideas.

When we have exhausted all the ways to do the things that we thought were too difficult, we simply return to the spot where we cannot move and turn to the first opportunity that presents itself and it will work for you as easy as pie. The reason it will work is because you have reprogrammed your mind and you have new channels to use. You can do it because you have a new mind to use.

Being polarized is of course a dreadful place to be. It is about failure, despair and self rejection. So remember to rise above the situation by doing things you thought you could never do even if you do these hard to do things poorly. The effort and the new thinking is the thing that will propel you forward.

Understand it is a journey, a path or a plan that is the beginning of happiness.
The plan must be achievable. You and you alone must have the skill, the ability or the know how to get there.
The plan must be worthwhile. The goal you have in mind must be something the Universe approves.
What you want must be believable. You and you alone must believe you can have the thing you want. It is realistic to you.

Example

Learning to be a partner in a mutually desired relationship.
Learning skills that bring you money, a well paid career.
Being attractive.
Learning social skills such as golf, dancing or cards etc.
Learning good conversational skills so you can interact with people on all levels.
Learning how to take care of finances such as taxes and investment stratgies.
Planning a course of action to find a life partner.
Being totally self sufficient.
Learning that happiness is an inside job and no one can do it for us.

THROUGH THE AGES WISE PEOPLE HAVE FOUND HAPPINESS IS REACHING A GOAL THAT PERTAINS TO US AND WE REACH IT ALONE.

It always protects,

Always trusts,

Perhaps if we practice love for short periods of time...............we will all get to where we are wanting to be. PEACE IN ALL THINGS

To have a list of "shoulds"

To assume a situation not allowing the negotiation

To think sex is Love and requires a lifetime of commitment

To not understand for the most part, this level is getting more and more temporary

To not value each moment with a person you love for it is precious and may not be long term

To not underdstand that a marriage contract filed in a court is about the business of a relationship

To not understand other women will be a challenge to a relationship therefore, we need to take preventive measures

To expect our loving to come back in a particular way

Not allowing or undertanding that intellectual men express love by protecting and providing

To not understand everything can be changed in any direction at any moment in time therefore practice always the attitude of gratitude
