Break ups, Spiritual style...

It has been some time since my last blog posting. I wanted to take a few moments to refect on one of the most dreaded things in life to have to go through. A BREAK UP. We have all been there and if you havent yet, you are in for an emotional roller coaster. Those of us that have gone through this process see the relivance to my last sentence.

I have recently relearned several very important lesson in life. Never put you happiness on the line when it comes to love, happiness comes from self! If you are seeing someone and it causes you to put your goals on hold, or off sets your spiritual path you may need to rethink or restructure the relationship. Even though at the end of the relationship "its a break up" we need to remember to treat others the way you want to be treated. If its over it is over no reason to behave without dignity.

It takes two people working 100% for a relationship to work. Both people have to want it to work for it to work. Open communication, respect, trust, compassion, and understnading are some of the things that a relationship needs to have to live. Without these things in a relationship is like a plant without water. It will soon wilt and die.

Finally after the break up be prepared to be changed. Hopefully you are not someone that had put your goals, ideas, and spirituality on hold because of love. When the relationship is over and the break up is done you will be left with what you came into it with. You will be starting where you left off with no growth. If you hold onto your values, goals, beliefs, throughout you will continue with your life path. I feel it does make it easier to pick up where you left off after the other persons path goes in a different direction if you REMEMBERED what is important and not let love blind.

I hope this blog opens your eyes if you are someone that forgot who you are. Love is GREAT don't get me wrong, but it is blinding too. Stay true to yourself. You are you before the relationship, and will be YOU after it is over.

They love me...they love me not.....

    Well its Friday! This morning I wanted to write about the ups and downs of an unconventional relationship. You know the one I'm talking about. Either you can't see them, or they can't see you for one reason or another. Maybe you have someone, maybe they do. Its hard to be confident in this relationship. You don't get to just pick up the phone when you want to and call them. Sometimes it seems like an eternity of time passes before you get to talk to them.

    I know that its hard to practice patience when you are sitting on pins and needles just waiting to hear their voice. It sure is easy to pick up the phone and call your favorite psychic, I know! Oh, and are they being truthful? Could they call more? Why do they act so rushed when we do get to talk, when we do get to see each other? Am I being selfish wanting more of their time? Just wanting more! Its very frustrating isn't it?
    I try to work with my clents in this situation on being patient as well as using the time apart constructively. Its important to see how the laws of the universe work. When someone is in a relationship like mentioned above its hard to get them to see that they can manifest a good and healthy relationship. It will just take some time and patience.   It is true that free will plays a role in this as well.

    Its funny how many people said "wow" when the movie or book The Secret came out. It talked about alot of the same priciples that those of us who are metaphysical have been teaching for years. This is not new information by any means. Bringing things you want and deserve into reality is possible. Sometimes it takes making changes in your life. Going to a different store to shop, instead of the one you usually go to. Taking a different path to work. Talking to people you never met. Going out on a limb, taking risks!

    I hope this information helps. We have all been there or are there now. It does not hurt to try out new things, if it works. Doing things to bring their energy closer. Finishing projects. Doing things to stay busy, not thinking of them 24/7. I hope you had a great week and hope your weekend is great. Getting what you want in life is worth the wait. There is nothing better than living happy, you deserve it!

The paranormal is normal to me...

I have been psychic my whole life. Growing up with a mom that was very sensitive, it was easy or me to see that this "gift" kinda ran in the family. I started ghost hunting almost 10 years ago. I stared out by going online and checking for local ghosthunting groups. I found a couple small groups not far from my house and decided to give them a call. I spoke with the person on the other end of the phone for quite awhile. They were as interested in me being psychic as I was with their ghosthunting. So we decided to get together and go to several local haunted sites.

    Its funny how skeptical someone can be that can talk to the dead. I mean I use my gift daily. I have customers that cry when I connect with them, but ghosthunting....
I finally met up with a group of investigators. We went to a local cemetary. We used mini cassette recorders to see if we could capture disembodied voices of the dead. We also used infrared camcorders to see if we could capture any video of anomalies. We were walking around investigating for several hours when we decided to go to one of the members house to review what if anything we caught.

    We did capture several voices on our equipment that were not ours. One voice was saying my name. I thought it was great because it was a females voice and all the investigators that night were male! Yes I was hooked and have been invetigating since. Now with having well over 200 investigations under my belt I can no longer be the skeptic I once was.

    I was asked 2 years ago to be on The National Geographic channel for a show about ghosts. I also now cohost an internet radio show about psychic topics as well as the paranormal. I have met some very interesting people and have made some great friends for life.

    I hope you enjoyed my first blog. I will be returning to Keen full time but will continue investigating the paranormal.
