We are here to learn and enjoy this life's journey!

Greetings!

I have been working as a professional psychic for the past two decades. I read all areas of your life, but my specialty is in the area of relationships, mainly romantic relationships.

Below, I have listed some tips you can use to attract YOUR perfect significant other. You deserve a happy, strong and healthy love life with YOUR perfect mate.

Love, Light and Warmth to you!
-Gabriel the Good News Messenger

Okay, so many of your friends already have a significant other in their lives. There is no reason for you to feel anxious because you are without a partner now, even if this "dry spell" has lasted too long. I am going to share some tips that will help you attract those that will have the attributes that you seek in a partner.

Make a list of the traits you seek in a mate. Include all the things YOU find important and the things that make you feel good. For example, are you happiest when you are dating someone who makes you laugh? Do you prefer someone who is deep? Would you like a partner that enjoys music or dance? List all the things that would make someone a perfect partner for YOU.

Make a list of all the wonderful things about you. Include every beautiful thing about yourself. I want you to add to this list every single day. If you see an area that you'd like to improve...then by all means, get to it! Maybe during this "dry spell" you indulged in some poor food choices. There is no reason to diet--just commit to healthier food choices and go for a short walk every day. I highly recommend volunteering to walk dogs at your local animal shelter. You will meet others, make friends with people and animals, tone your body and lift your spirits. Sure, exercise improves our physical appearance, but even more so from the inside out. We FEEL better for having moved our bodies...chemicals and hormones are released and make us feel happy and when we are happy, we glow! Helping others creates a special glow :D and attracts the type of partner we are seeking.

Don't feel anxious. Anxiety only comes across as desperation and that will only attract the type of partner you will not want to be in a relationship with. When we are "stuck" we tend to settle for only what is placed in front of us. Your perfect mate is out there, you just need to find each other. When the time is right, you will hook up. It's important to know that it's going to happen for you.

Put the same effort into finding a relationship that you would put into a major purchase. Too many of us put more effort into buying a car that we do finding a life partner. The funny thing is that the car will be traded in for a new one in some years--a life partner should be for...life! You would not go shopping for a beautiful car and then settle for a rambling-wreck, so why should you settle for a mate that is not perfect for YOU? Frequent places and events that draw the type of partner you are seeking--that's where you will find love.

The funny thing about love is that the more you share, the more is returned to you.
It's the one commodity we can never run out of!
-------------------------

Laugh Often, Laugh Freely and Laugh Loudly!

We are here to learn and enjoy this life's journey!

-

Gabriel's Veggie Shroom

Here's an inexpensive, easy to prepare, delicious dinner that is high in the B-vitamins. This meal will leave your body and spirit positively glowing!
Each serving costs LESS than $2.25 and contains only 244 calories.
Low cost - Low calories - High Energy!
Quick and Easy to prepare!

Ingredients for 1 Servings:

1 Portobello Mushroom
1 Small Sweet Potato
1/4-Cup Peas
1 Large, Ripe Tomato
1-Tablespoon Finely Chopped Scallions
1-Tablespoon Margarine

Using a microwave-safe dish, microwave the sweet potato on HIGH for about 5-minutes. Check to make sure it is very soft. When that is finished, carefully peel the skin off and place the meat of the potato in a bowl. Add the pat of butter to the potatoes and mash well. Stir in the peas.

Use a small cookie sheet or shallow pan to cook the mushroom. Place mushroom in the center of the pan and top with the mashed potato mixture and place in the oven for 20-minutes. While that is cooking, slice the tomato into wedges.

To serve, place the mushroom in the center of your dinner plate and arrange the tomato wedges around it. Sprinkle the entire dish with the finely chopped scallions.

Love, Light and Warmth to you!

Greetings!

I have been working as a professional psychic for the past two decades. I read all areas of your life, but my specialty is in the area of relationships, mainly romantic relationships.

Today's blog deals with the devastating effects of a broken heart.

YOU WILL SURVIVE--I AM HERE TO HELP YOU!

You deserve a strong and healthy love life with YOUR perfect mate.

Love, Light and Warmth to you!
-Gabriel the Good News Messenger

Breaking up, divorcing, separating (even through death), whatever you wish to call it, is one of the most devastating trials we all face in our lifetimes. Relationships end...even good ones. Whether your break-up was through relationship problems or through death (even illness or mental impairment) you can survive and heal your broken heart.

There are times when the memories flood your mind with such great intensity--some are good, others are not--but, both are painful. This is a temporary state. You will always feel, but when you are healed the episodes of deep despair are manageable. The pain you are experiencing now is the worst it will ever be--from here, you will feel better each day! Think of this as being at the bottom of a staircase--each day is a step UP, toward the sunshine.

YOU WILL SURVIVE--I AM HERE TO HELP YOU!

When sad (or happy) memories tug at your heart, allow yourself to feel. It's alright to cry. Crying relieves stress and helps us heal.

Do something new--learn how to paint, dance or sew. Your mind will be preoccupied with this new hobby--this will help speed up the healing process.

EAT HEALTHY!!! I know that reaching for the Oreo's or Ice Cream (or whatever you call comfort food) will make you feel better--but that is only while you are actively eating. When the package is empty, you will feel worse for having indulged in an activity that harms your psyche as well as your body. When the sugar-high wears off, you will experience a severe drop in your mood. If there is no possible way to avoid over-indulging, then stay away from foods like this. You are much too vulnerable at this time. I recommend seed-bearing fruits and veggies that are packed with B-Vitamins at this time. Eating comforts us...opt for TRUE "comfort foods" such as Watermelon, Avacado, Peas, Kiwi, Peaches, Tomatoes, Bananas, Cantaloupe, Squash, Corn, Asparagus, Beans, Kale, Broccoli, Green Peppers, Oranges, Berries, Cauliflower and Spinach. There are more, but this should get you started.

Try doing something for others and also do something for yourself.

Excersize for just 20-minutes per day. Have you ever considered going to your local animal shelter and asking if you may walk a dog or two? The dogs really appreciate it and you will be getting excersize while helping a poor homeless animal. You will make friends--both the animal kind and of course with other volunteers and workers. This is perhaps the BEST tip for recovering from a broken heart.

A heart filled with love heals--a heart filled with bitterness dies.

The most wonderful thing about love is that the more you share, the more it is returned to you. It's the one commodity we can never run out of!

Laugh Often, Laugh Freely and Laugh Loudly!

We are here to learn and enjoy this life's journey!

Gabriel's Happy-Heart Salad

Here's an inexpensive, easy to prepare, delicious, mood-lifting salad
Each serving costs LESS than $1.30 and contains only 234 calories.
Low cost - Low calories
Quick and Easy to prepare!

Young King Arthur was ambushed and imprisoned by the monarch of a neighboring kingdom. The monarch could have killed him, but was moved by Arthur's youthful happiness. So he offered him freedom, as long as he could answer a very difficult question. Arthur would have a year to figure out the answer; if, after a year, he still had no answer, he would be killed.

The question was: What do women really want?

Such a question would perplex even the most knowledgeable man, and, to young Arthur, it seemed an impossible query. Well, since it was better than death, he accepted the monarch's proposition to have an answer by year's end. He returned to his kingdom and began to poll everybody: the princess, the prostitutes, the priests, the wise men, and the court jester. In all, he spoke with everyone but no one could give him a satisfactory answer.

What most people did tell him was to consult the old witch, as only she would know the answer. The price would be high, since the witch was famous throughout the kingdom for the exorbitant prices she charged. The last day of the year arrived and Arthur had no alternative but to talk to the witch. She agreed to answer his question, but he'd have to accept her price first: the old witch wanted to marry Sir Lancelot, the most noble of the Knights of the Round Table and Arthur's closest friend!

Young Arthur was horrified: she was hunchbacked and awfully hideous, had only one tooth, smelled like sewage water, often made obscene noises... He had never run across such a repugnant creature. He refused to force his friend to marry her and have to endure such a burden. Sir Lancelot, upon learning of the proposal, spoke with Arthur. He told him that nothing was too big of a sacrifice compared to Arthur's life and the preservation of the Round Table. Hence, their wedding was proclaimed, and the witch answered Arthur's question:

What a woman really wants is to be able to be in charge of her own life.

Everyone instantly knew that the witch had uttered a great truth and that Arthur's life would be spared. And so it went. The neighboring monarch spared Arthur's life and granted him total freedom.

What a wedding Lancelot and the witch had! Arthur was torn between relief and anguish. Lancelot was proper as always, gentle and courteous. The old witch put her worst manners on display. She ate with her hands, belched and farted, and made everyone uncomfortable.

The wedding night approached: Lancelot, steeling himself for a horrific night, entered the bedroom. What a sight awaited! The most beautiful woman he'd ever seen lay before him! Lancelot was astounded and asked what had happened. The beauty replied that since he had been so kind to her (when she'd been a witch), half the time she would be her horrible, deformed self, and the other half, she would be her beautiful maiden self. Which would he want her to be during the day and which during the night?

What a cruel question! Lancelot began to think of his predicament: During the day a beautiful woman to show off to his friend, but at night, in the privacy of his home, an old spooky witch? Or would he prefer having by day a hideous witch, but by night a beautiful woman to enjoy many intimate moments?

What would you do?

What Lancelot chose follows below, but don't read until you've made your own choice.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Noble Lancelot replied that he would let her choose for herself! Upon hearing this, the lady announced that she would be beautiful all the time, because he had respected her and had let her be in charge of her own life.

We are here to learn and enjoy this life's journey!

Greetings!

I have been working as a professional psychic for the past two decades. I read all areas of your life, but my specialty is in the area of relationships, mainly romantic relationships.

Today I am blogging about boundaries--how to set them and enforce them. You deserve a strong and healthy love life with YOUR perfect mate.

Love, Light and Warmth to you!
-Gabriel the Good News Messenger

A boundary is not an agreement. Only YOU have to agree to your boundaries. Your boundary is your line in the sand. It's a situation that you must remedy if that line is crossed. When someone oversteps that line, it's best to handle that matter ASAP, while remembering that remaining calm is much more effective than behaving irrationally.

A boundary is something that must never be crossed. Hopefully it is possible to resolve the situation to YOUR satisfaction, but you would need to take the necessary steps so that you are never subjected to that situation again. Boundaries usually are set to avoid abusive situations (cheating, stealing, threatening, etc).

Examples of Boundaries:

No sexual relations outside this relationship (cheating).

No abuse in any form (yelling, hitting, belittling, stealing, etc.).

YOU are the one who decides what your line in the sand is, this is never a mutual agreement. If others are not honest and respectable, they cannot make a decision in your best interests. It's never wise to allow yourself to be persuaded or manipulated to stay in a relationship that hurts you.

Take back your personal power by getting clear about your line in the sand (boundaries), and the consequences of violating them. Those who draw their own line in the sand are not hurt as badly as those who do not draw boundaries.
The most wonderful thing about love is that the more you share, the more is returned to you. It's the one commodity we can never run out of!

Laugh Often, Laugh Freely and Laugh Loudly!

We are here to learn and enjoy this life's journey!

Gabriel's Power Push-Ups

Here's an inexpensive, easy to prepare, delicious, mood-lifting snack.
Each serving costs LESS than $0.45 and contains only 132 calories.
Low cost - Low calories
Quick and Easy to prepare!

Ingredients for 6 Servings:

We are here to learn and enjoy this life's journey!

Greetings!

In today's blog I will be sharing with you a common practice among Emergency Service Workers. Please take this to heart and pass it on. The information is valuable. ICE will speak for you when you are unable to.

I have been working as a professional psychic for the past two decades. I read all areas of your life, but my specialty is in the area of relationships, mainly romantic relationships.

Love, Light and Warmth to you!
-Gabriel the Good News Messenger

I received an email from a relative working in a local hospital this morning. She told me of a standard procedure that paramedics follow at the scene of an accident when they see that you have a cell phone.

ICE = "In Case of Emergency"

We all carry our mobile phones with names & numbers stored in its memory but nobody, other than ourselves, knows which of these numbers belong to our closest family or friends.

If we were to be involved in an accident or were taken ill, the people attending us would have our mobile phone but wouldn't know who to call. Yes, there are hundreds of numbers stored but which one is the contact person in case of an emergency? Hence this "ICE" (In Case of Emergency) Campaign.

The concept of "ICE" is catching on quickly. It is a method of contact during emergency situations. As cell (mobile) phones are carried by the majority of the population, all you need to do is store the number of a contact person or persons who should be contacted during emergency under the name ICE (In Case Of Emergency).

The idea was thought up by a paramedic who found that when he went to the scene of an accident, there were always mobile phones with patients, but they didn't know which number to call. He therefore thought that it would be a good idea if there was a nationally recognized name for this purpose.

In an emergency situation, Emergency Service personnel and hospital Staff would be able to quickly contact the right person by simply dialing the number you have stored as ICE.

For more than one contact name simply enter ICE1, ICE2 and ICE3 etc. This is a great idea that will make a difference!

Let's spread the concept of ICE by storing an ICE number in our Mobile phones today!

Please tell everyone you know about this. It really could save your life, or put a loved one's mind at rest.

ICE will speak for you when you can not.

The most wonderful thing about love is that the more you share, the more it is returned to you. It's the one commodity we can never run out of!

Laugh Often, Laugh Freely and Laugh Loudly!

We are here to learn and enjoy this life's journey!

16-Oz. Frozen Strawberries
12-Oz. Container of a DEFROSTED Non-Dairy Whipped Topping
Cold Water

Empty the Whipped Topping into a large mixing bowl. In a food processor or blender, puree the strawberries in batches, adding a small amount of water as needed. As you finish each batch, transfer it to the mixing bowl. When all the strawberries are pureed and poured into the bowl, stir well. You can serve immediately or freeze in paper cups or transfer back into the Whipped Topping container to freeze and serve. It's delicious either way!

Love, Light and Warmth to you!

We are here to learn and enjoy this life's journey!

Greetings!

Today's blog deals with ridding your spirit of past hurts.

YOU WILL SURVIVE--I AM HERE TO HELP YOU!

I have been working as a professional psychic for the past two decades. I read all areas of your life, but my specialty is in the area of relationships, mainly romantic relationships.

You deserve a strong and healthy love life with YOUR perfect mate.

Love, Light and Warmth to you!
-Gabriel the Good News Messenger

Forget history and you are bound to repeat it, but hold on too tight and for too long and you WILL repeat it.

Today we will talk about past hurts and how they can bind us and keep us from progressing to the JOY we deserve.

While it's wise to learn from past mistakes and hurts we must never obsess over them because it creates a negative, emotional bondage. We relive the trauma and it is like carrying a very heavy weight on our hearts. This is unhealthy and dangerous.

When we are constantly looking backwards, we have trouble moving forward. Our hearts follow where our thoughts go. It's time to embrace the light and exit the darkness.

Ask yourself the following questions:

Are you constantly thinking about a long past, broken relationship?

Does rejection cloud your thoughts?

Are you replaying a past argument in your mind?

Has someone treated you unfairly and you can't get it out of your mind?

What are you holding on to?

If you are holding on to these awful memories and thoughts, you are maintaining a negative soul tie. When you give something energy, it manifests itself. You are keeping it alive! If you allow it to play over and over, like a broken record in your mind you are wasting precious time. The effects are great as thoughts have power.

This same principle is true when we lose someone (pets included) and we refuse to move past the grief. We should be thankful for having known them and willing to celebrate their lives. Sometimes the grieving doesn't get better. We are then unable to move on, and the souls we mourn do not wish to leave us in our hour of pain...so they are also unable to move on.

Negative or Positive, energy is energy and will boomerang. What you send out, comes back to you. Whatever has caused you pain in this life, however terrible it was, joy still awaits you! You must choose to accept it.

The average lifespan for a human is about 2,460,000,000-seconds long. How many more are you willing to waste on negativity? Energy is energy and you must choose the positive to receive the positive, which is joy.

So you say, 'Gabriel, how do I get rid of these past hurts?'

Look at the past with LOVE and create spiritual balance. Love heals, erases and cleanses. Pray or meditate. Actively FORGIVE.

Create physical balance. Eat well, move your body every day and actively participate in life.

Remember: many of those who hurt you may have had a false impression of you, and maybe you were guilty of the same. (This may have led to the conflict.) Often, when we think the worst of someone, it's because we want to. When we're angry, it is often rooted in pride. Sometimes, it's the defensive part of us. Pride declares the truth as an insult.

If you can feel the positive energy of love flowing, peace will follow and so will JOY!

I AM HERE TO HELP YOU!

A heart filled with love heals--a heart filled with bitterness dies.

The most wonderful thing about love is that the more you share, the more it is returned to you. It's the one commodity we can never run out of!

Laugh Often, Laugh Freely and Laugh Loudly!

She is only 43 but is an overweight smoker with a sedentary lifestyle. She and her husband have the sweetest, kindest hearts. They are the ones to always lend a hand to whomever (animals included) needs help. Their home is where everyone gathers all summer long for get-togethers consisting of high-fat BBQs and sugar-laden cocktails and desserts. Emotionally their hearts are in great condition. They are happy and still very much in love with each other and will be celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary soon.

The "new" neighbors who are in their mid 30s purchased the house behind me about nine or ten months ago. They posted a "For Sale" sign in front of their home last month. They only engage in small talk with the other neighbors because they pretty much wanted keep to themselves. I was told I was the only friend they had in our small neighborhood. We became friendly because they are both runners (I like to run). These two are in excellent physical shape, however I have NEVER seen them run together. Honestly, I have rarely seen them together at all in the time they've lived here. I knew there were tensions between them, but because neither opened up about it until last month, I didn't want to bring up the subject and make them uncomfortable. Their house was on the market because it was "a house" and "not a home". They were getting a divorce. Physically, their hearts are in great condition. They work out, eat right and look fabulous.

These two couples may appear to be polar opposites and have nothing in common...and yet, they do!

THEY ALL HAD BROKEN HEARTS

I knew that God had placed me right in the middle of these two families for a reason. I prayed for them and asked Him for guidance so that all four of their beautiful hearts could be healed.

Last weekend, I invited both couples to my home for a Tropical Dinner Party. My "date" was another neighbor who was recently widowed (and just turned 81 last January--she's been nothing short of a wonderful Grandmother to me. I am grateful that God has placed her in my path.). I purchased a few items (like leis and tropical looking flowers, etc) from the dollar store. My theme was Paradise (which was God's gift to us all that night).

We all had a lot of fun that night and enjoyed some great (healthy) food. My emotionally healthy neighbors and my physically healthy neighbors became fast friends. My "date" was a wonderful conversationalist and I'm sure our laughter was heard all the way into the next county. Something magical happened for all six of us that night. The sparkle in my date's eyes returned for the first time since she lost her husband. If that had been the only gift, I still would have been ecstatic...but more gifts were to be showered upon us.

Last Tuesday, my 43-year old neighbor told me that she quit smoking because it's "unhealthy". (I have been telling her that for years and am quite relieved that she's made that choice.) I saw her husband yesterday and he told me that she has been smoke-free since she decided to quit and they both have made a few dietary changes so they may have a long and healthy life together, and that's not all!!!

Every night this past week I've seen both couples walking together, each holding their lover's hand. All four of them smiling brightly...and yet, I was to receive another gift.

This morning, I was in my garden and witnessed something beautiful. My physically-fit neighbors kissed each other. He noticed me looking and said hello. I didn't see the "For Sale" sign up anymore, so I asked if he had a buyer. He informed me that they decided to stay in their home, together! I couldn't speak. My heart had swelled so much that if I dared utter just one word, I knew my eyes would leak. So I just gave him a wave and walked back to my home, excited for having seen the love on their shining faces.

Somehow, maybe through some Heavenly magic, my neighbors helped heal each other's hearts. I am awed by the power we have to heal each other--how just one moment in one life can affect so many other lives. Truly, God is amazing!

Relationship Reading

plus FREE Question.

Explore your relationship by exploring the needs and views of both parties.
Think of your relationship with a specific person and click

maintains heartbeat and is important in many metabolic reactions. It
balances fluid inside and outside the cells to maintain normal cell
function. Potassium blunts the rise of blood pressure in response to
excess dietary sodium. A high potassium diet might help prevent bone
loss and kidney stones.

*Potassium requirements

There
is no RDA for potassium. An adequate daily amount of potassium for
adults is 4,700 mg/ day. The average American eats too little
potassium: Males take in 2,900 to 3,200 mg/day and females get 2,100 to
2,300 mg/day

*What happens when Potassium intake is too high?

There
is no Tolerable Upper Intake Level (UL) for potassium intake because
adverse effects from excess potassium have not been found in healthy
adults. Potassium chloride supplements should not be used except on a
physician’s advice.

*What happens when Potassium intake is too low?

A
chronically low potassium intake can lead to high blood pressure,
increased risk of kidney stones, and a possible increase in bone loss.
Diuretics (water pills) can cause potassium loss, necessitating an
increase in dietary potassium.

*Which foods are high in Potassium?

Potassium
is found in a wide variety of fresh foods. The highest sources are
apricots, figs, prunes, bananas, oranges and orange juice, cantaloupe
and honeydew, baked potatoes, sweet potatoes, tomato products, dried
beans and soybeans, low-fat yogurt, skim milk, and beef, chicken, and
fish.

*(source: caloriecount.about.com)

Can a lack of potassium kill you? YES

How, you wonder?

Potassium
and magnesium are crucial for cellular conductivity. Become deficient
in potassium and most likely your magnesium is off too. Doctors still
can't quite grasp the connection between the two minerals but one
without the other leads to cellular death. The cells cannot properly
function and start losing their cohesiveness. Before your body let's
cell death occur it will pillage stores for the missing elements. Have
you noticed your muscles getting weaker? That's your body cannibalizing
itself and the cells losing their ability to transfer oxygen in and out
of themselves.

Your heart is a muscle, the lack of key elements in your
blood inhibits normal function. If your heart is becoming stiff and is
unable to pump blood the way it should you can die from congestive
heart failure or cariogenic shock.
❤This information should not be considered complete, nor should it be relied on in diagnosing or treating a medical condition. It is best to seek advice and attention from your physician or qualified healthcare professional.❤

♡♥♡

The most wonderful thing about love is that the more you share, the more it is returned
to you. It's the one commodity we can never run out of!

Ingredients for 4 Servings:

1 (13.5 oz) can light coconut milk

     2 big ripe bananas

     1 tsp sea salt

     1/4 tsp cinnamon

     pinch of ginger powder

4 tsp (or 4 packets) of Splenda

1). Shake the can of coconut milk well and pour the entire contents into a small sauce pan. Add the salt, Splenda, cinnamon & ginger.

2). Slowly heat (on med-high) stirring occasionally.

3). Mash up the bananas.

4). Bring the mixture to a boil, add the bananas. Turn the heat
down and simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally so it doesn't
stick to the bottom and sides of the pan.

5) When it thickens and becomes the consistency of pudding, take it off the heat and pour it into dessert bowls. Serve warm or cold.

The smell of this cooking delights all my senses. The scent will make you feel like you are on a tropical island paradise. It's relaxing and romantic. Play a little music in the background (I do), then dance and sing as you prepare this delicious pudding (I do that too...lol). Having fun is excellent for the emotional heart and this potassium-rich pudding is very heart-healthy.

Greetings!

I have been working as a professional psychic for the past two decades. I read all areas of your life, but my specialty is in the area of relationships, mainly romantic relationships.

Today's article discusses Honesty and hard work. The recipe I've included is made with only Honest Foods. These are fruits and vegetables grown the old-fashioned way with the richest soil. Much blood, sweat and love goes into gardening this way. To me, it's a truly spiritual hobby. :D

You deserve a happy, strong and healthy love life with YOUR perfect mate.

Love, Light and Warmth to you!
-Gabriel the Good News Messenger

How important is it that your Doctor tell you the truth about your health?
I'm sure that sometimes he/she has to deliver information that you'd rather not hear, but it is his/her JOB to tell you the absolute truth as he/she knows it. If he's/she's only going to tell you everything is fine when it is not, why see him/her in the first place?

How important is it that your Lawyer tell you the truth about any legal documents you are about to sign (or whatever)? Is he/she doing a good job for you if he/she doesn't look over the fine print and at least make you aware of the potential risks involved?

Would you pay a Cleaning Person to tell you that your house is already clean and not expect him/her to do the job you are paying him/her to do?

My point is that I am being paid to SERVE YOU. Spirit not only encourages, but demands that I do so in the most accurate and truthful way--I must tell you what I see. That is my job...but more so, that is my gift.

We are all connected. When we harm (or lie to) another, we ultimately harm ourselves and our spirits. You are paying me to tell you the truth and I believe in an honest day's work.

The funny thing about love is that the more you share, the more is returned to you.
It's the one commodity we can never run out of!
-------------------------

Laugh Often, Laugh Freely and Laugh Loudly!

We are here to learn and enjoy this life's journey!

Preheat the oven to 375 F.

Slice squash in half lengthwise and scoop out seeds. Brush the 1-Tablespoon of oil over the inner surface of each side of the squash. Place it face down on a baking pan. Allow it to bake for about 1/2 hour. It is done when tender.

While the squash is cooking, blanch the broccoli by bringing a pan of water to boiling and adding broccoli and then straining out the water and rinsing the broccoli in cold water. Set this aside. Make sure the scallions and tomatoes are finely chopped.

When the squash is nice and tender, scoop out the insides gently and place the spaghetti-like strands into a large serving bowl. Add the broccoli, tomatoes, scallions and olive oil and toss gently. YUMMY!

Love, Light and Warmth to you!

We are here to learn and enjoy this life's journey!

Greetings!

Today's
blog was inspired by my friend, Cheryl. It talks about a few ways we can easily save money, time and improve our outlook on the future.

It's time to UNPLUG from unnecessary drains on our resources!

I
have been working as a professional psychic for the past two decades. I
read all areas of your life, but my specialty is in the area of
relationships, mainly romantic relationships.

You
deserve a strong and healthy love life with YOUR perfect
mate.

Love, Light and Warmth to you!
-Gabriel the Good News Messenger

Time to UNPLUG
(from the negative)

As Spring dawns and the Easter holiday approaches, we may worry about our lack of resources--time, money, energy, patience, etc. This should be a time of RENEWAL, accepting ourselves, sharing love and enjoying every precious moment we have with our family and friends. Holidays are a time to give appreciation for all the wonderful blessings bestowed upon us.

Squeeze an extra hour out of each day!

Like most of us, you are probably stressed with an over-extended schedule. There's work, family and the million other things we take care of every single day. The holidays seem to add more stress and work, but it need not be that way. If possible, unplug your phone for an hour and use that time to do something just for YOU.

The easiest way to squeeze an extra hour out of each day:

UNPLUG the television.

Pump up your Energy!

If you are feeling chronically worn-out, you need to see your Doctor. If you're just tired, try increasing your intake of the B vitamins. B vitamins also help lift your spirits. Also, talk to your Doctor about which multi-vitamin is best for you. Want to increase endorphins and energy? Take a brisk 10-minute walk.

The easiest way to get quick energy:

UNPLUG from high-fat, sugar-laden snacks.

Foods high in B vitamins.

Whole Brown Rice

Oatmeal

Soybeans

Cheese

Milk

Green Vegetables

Fish

Chicken

Whole Grains

Organ Meats

Eggs

Nuts

Broccoli

Spinach

Give to YOURSELF!

One of the more common complaints I hear about is the stress of family gatherings around holidays. Take the time to complete the following exercise and start enjoying every beautiful soul in your life.

Gather Your Supplies: You will need a small box, wrapping paper, little pieces of paper and something to write with.

Express Yourself: Write out a way to address each thing that bothers you about a particular situation, expressing only one problem per sheet of paper. For example, if your Aunt Hagatha harps on your weight or eating habits, etc. you could write "Aunt Hagatha is really telling me that she is lonely and afraid. I will only give her my warmest smile and my tenderest words." Place these papers in the small box.

Give Yourself a Gift: Gift wrap the box, and place it under your tree (or wherever you normally place gifts to others).

Do Not Open Until Christmas: Open this box on YOUR gift-giving holiday and go through the papers. While reading what you wrote, notice the ways you have been blessed in each situation. This is the ultimate gift you can give anyone--and you gave it to yourself!

The easiest and BEST gift you can give yourself:

UNPLUG from negativity and COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS!

Save Your Pennies and the Dollars Will Add Up!

This one is easist of all! Appliances connected to the outlet continue to suck electricity, even when they are turned off. Go through your home and look for items that are draining your future savings by using unnecessary energy...and UNPLUG them! Computers, toasters, hair-dryers, coffee-makers, washer and dryer, etc. When you are not using these items, there is no reason to have them plugged in. Turn off the lights when you leave a room. Make note of your last 3 electric bills and you will SEE the savings. Transfer the money saved into an account.

The easiest, most painless way to find extra money:

UNPLUG appliances that are not in use!

I AM HERE TO HELP YOU!

A heart filled with love heals--a heart filled with bitterness dies.

The most wonderful thing about love is that the more you share, the more it is returned
to you.
It's the one commodity we can never run out of!

Laugh Often, Laugh Freely and Laugh Loudly!

We are here to learn and enjoy this life's journey!

Gabriel's Cranberry Relish

Love is patient, love is kind. -Gabriel the Good News Messenger

Good manners is the ability to put up graciously with bad manners.

I used Paul's quote (at the top of this page) because I find great truth in it. He teaches us what real love is. Today's article deals with the fact that love is not rude and that good manners will go a long way in improving our relationships. This is a major step towards bonding with those we love.

Sometimes we are more polite with strangers that we are with those we love. We are more patient and respectful with those we do not even know. Let's try to bring that into our existing relationships also. When we treat everyone in our path with love and respect the rewards we reap are infinite.

One of the tests of good manners is to be able to put up graciously with bad manners. Rudeness is not caring about the feelings of others. Good manners can be made up of small sacrifices. It’s the ability to make your point without making an enemy. We reap what we've sown.

Here's a challenge for you:
Don't allow the moods or reactions from others to set the tone of your attitude.
Try this for one day and I hope you choose to do it again the next day (and so on). With every single person God puts in your path, be polite and gracious. When they are rude to you, be kind to them. Love them unconditionally.

The Challenge: Be HAPPY to see or hear from each person today (no
matter who they are). When they are expressing dissatisfaction or
rudeness, be kind in both words and actions. In your thoughts, ask
that this person be blessed and picture a warm, white light enveloping
them and healing their hurts. This has a profound effect on all of
humanity. We really are all connected. Love is energy and we should
allow it to flow freely between us. Love your neighbor--especially if they are nasty.

This is not allowing others to harm you. This is sending love and
warmth to someone who is obviously not receiving it, or at the very least not
feeling it.
The most wonderful thing about love is that the more you share, the more it is returned
to you. It's the one commodity we can never run out of!

Laugh Often, Laugh Freely and Laugh Loudly!

We are here to learn and enjoy this life's journey!

Gabriel's Love-Apple Pie

Here's an inexpensive, easy to prepare, delicious, warm and loving pie.
This recipe makes 2 pies--one for you and one to share.
Each serving costs LESS than $1.00 and contains a whopping 613 calories.
Low cost - High Indulgence, but WORTH every delicious bite.

Ingredients for 2 Pies (8 servings per pie):

Gather these ingredients:
4-Cups Flour (plus extra for rolling out dough)
3-1/3-Cups plus 2-Tablespoons White Sugar
4-Cups Brown Sugar
1/4-Tablespoon Salt
1-Teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
1-Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon (plus a couple of sprinkles for the tops)
1-2 Drops Red Food Coloring
2-1/2-Sticks COLD Butter (or 20-Tablespoons or 1-1/4-Cups)
5-Tablespoons of COLD Vegetable Shortening
8-Tablespoons Iced Water
16-Apples (I use whatever is on hand and mix varieties)
(2) 9" Pie Pans
(2) Large Mixing Bowls
Pastry Cutter or Large Fork
Heart-shaped Cookie Cutter
Rolling Pin and a Large Surface
Plastic Wrap
Aluminum Foil

First, let's prepare the pie crusts:

2-1/2 Cups Flour
2-Tablespoons Sugar
2-Dashes of Salt
1/2-Cup COLD Butter, broken into small pieces
5-Tablespoons COLD Vegetable Shortening
8-Tablespoons Iced Water

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar and salt together. Add the chilled butter shortening pieces and cut in using a pastry cutter or large fork until you have a pebbly appearance. Add the ice water and mix until it forms a dough. You may add a bit more water, if necessary. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface, knead it together, then divide in half. Flatten each half into a disk, wrap in saran wrap and chill for at least half an hour. While you are waiting for it to cool, begin working on your filling.

3-1/3-Cup Sugar
1/2-Cup Flour
1-Teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
1-Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
2-Small Pinches of Salt
16-Apples (Use Different Varieties of Apples if you wish)
4-Tablespoons Margarine

Wash the large mixing bowl you used to make the crusts. Peel, core and slice all the apples doing your best to keep all the slices uniform (for a better texture). Place the sugar, flour, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt in the large mixing bowl and combine. Now add your sliced apples and toss to coat with the dry mixture. Cover and place in the refrigerator and work on the crumb topping.

4-Cups Light Brown Sugar
1-Stick COLD Butter, cut into pieces
1-Cup Flour

In another large mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar and flour. Add the chilled butter shortening pieces and cut in
using a pastry cutter or large fork until you have a pebbly appearance. Cover and set aside in the refrigerator. Pull out one of the pie crust balls you have chilled and let's make the pies!

Roll out one of the disks on a lightly floured surface until you have a circle that's about 12 inches in diameter. Place it in the center of one of the pie plates leaving a 2" overhang of the edges. Trim any extra dough from the edges with a sharp knife. Knead that dough-scrap into a ball and rewrap it in the plastic wrap and return it to the refrigerator. Roll up the edges of the over-hanging crust and flute the edges with your fingers or press a fork around the pie edge to make a pretty crust. Dot the interior of the pie with your fork--this will help your crust keep it's shape while baking. Put this pie crust in the refrigerator while you roll out the other one. When you have finished that one, place in the refrigerator and take out those dough-scraps.

Open the plastic wrap and place both dough-scraps together. Add 1-2 drops of red food coloring and use the plastic wrap to blend until the color is uniform (and pleasing to you). Next, roll out this dough and use your heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut-out 2 hearts. Set aside.

Heat oven to 425ºF. Place in front of you the 2-pie pans with the crusts, the large bowl of apples and the bowl of crumb topping. Divide the apple filling between the 2 pies. Top each pie with 1/2 of the crumb topping and sprinkle a dash of cinnamon over each pie. Place a heart in the center of each pie.

(TIP #1: I line the oven rack with foil to catch any overspill. Tip #2: I cover the edges of my pie crust with a strip of foil to prevent over-browning. If you do this, remove the strip of foil about 30-35 minutes into baking.)

The total baking time is about 45-minutes.

Laugh Often, Laugh Freely and Laugh Loudly!

We are here to learn and enjoy this life's journey!

Breaking
up, divorcing, separating (even through death), whatever you wish to
call it, is one of the most devastating trials we all face in our
lifetimes. Relationships end...even good ones. Whether your break-up
was through relationship problems or through death (even illness or
mental impairment) you can survive and heal your broken heart.

There
are times when the memories flood your mind with such great
intensity--some are good, others are not--but, both are painful. This
is a temporary state. You will always feel, but when you are healed
the episodes of deep despair are manageable. The pain you are
experiencing now is the worst it will ever be--from here, you will feel
better each day! Think of this as being at the bottom of a
staircase--each day is a step UP, toward the sunshine.

YOU WILL SURVIVE--I AM HERE TO HELP YOU!

When
sad (or happy) memories tug at your heart, allow yourself to feel.
It's alright to cry. Crying relieves stress and helps us heal.

Do
something new--learn how to paint, dance or sew. Your mind will be
preoccupied with this new hobby--this will help speed up the healing
process.

EAT HEALTHY!!! I know that reaching for the Oreo's or
Ice Cream (or whatever you call comfort food) will make you feel
better--but that is only while you are actively eating. When
the package is empty, you will feel worse for having indulged in an
activity that harms your psyche as well as your body. When the
sugar-high wears off, you will experience a severe drop in your mood.
If there is no possible way to avoid over-indulging, then stay away
from foods like this. You are much too vulnerable at this time. I
recommend seed-bearing fruits and veggies that are packed with
B-Vitamins at this time. Eating comforts us...opt for TRUE "comfort
foods" such as Watermelon, Avacado, Peas, Kiwi, Peaches, Tomatoes,
Bananas, Cantaloupe, Squash, Corn, Asparagus, Beans, Kale, Broccoli,
Green Peppers, Oranges, Berries, Cauliflower and Spinach. There are
more, but this should get you started.

Try doing something for others and also do something for yourself.

Excersize
for just 20-minutes per day. Have you ever considered going to your
local animal shelter and asking if you may walk a dog or two? The dogs
really appreciate it and you will be getting excersize while helping a
poor homeless animal. You will make friends--both the animal kind and
of course with other volunteers and workers. This is perhaps the BEST
tip for recovering from a broken heart.

Gabriel's Happy-Heart Salad

Here's an inexpensive, easy to prepare, delicious, mood-lifting salad
Each serving costs LESS than $1.30 and contains only 234 calories.
Low cost - Low calories
Quick and Easy to prepare!

1-Cup Cantaloupe, Cubed
1-Kiwi, Sliced
1-Large, (very red) Strawberry
1/4-Cup Vanilla Yogurt

Place the banana, cantaloupe and the kiwi in a bowl. Top with a dollop

B-vitamins and great for lifting your mood (among many other health
benefits).

When you feel it, say it. The words, I love you stimulate a part of the brain that involves feeling and emotions. It doesn't matter if you are the one saying it or the one listening.

Become Empathic. To become more empathic, you must care deeply about the feelings of others. You can develop your natural empathic ability. Empaths are highly compassionate and very much in tune with the feelings and needs of another living being.

Love unconditionally.
Enjoying chocolate is a great way to start loving yourself!
Here's a delicious drink to kick-start the love chemicals.
Each serving costs LESS than $0.70 and contains 450 calories.
This recipe is made for sharing!
Invite a special someone to enjoy this drink with you!
WARNING: Contains Alcoholic Beverages.

INGREDIENTS (for 4 servings):

12 shelled Filbert nuts (hazelnuts)
1/4 cup milk chocolate chips
7 oz. Vodka
1 oz. Frangelico
12 ice cubes

DIRECTIONS:

With a Nut Chopper:
Place 8 Filberts (hazelnuts) into the container and chop.
Set aside.

Without a Nut Chopper:
Place 8 shelled Filberts (hazelnuts) into one of the Ziploc bags.
Do not zip the bag shut.
Place bag of nuts on a hard surface.
Use rolling pin to crush the nuts into smaller chunks.
Zip the bag closed and set aside.

Place Martini glasses upright with at least a 6" space between them.

Place chocolate chips in the other Ziploc bag.
Do not zip bag shut.
Place bag in a microwave-safe container.
Microwave at MEDIUM (50 percent power) for 1 minute.
Check after the first minute. You need to heat the chocolate until the chocolate turns shiny.
DO NOT OVER-HEAT as chocolate may become grainy.

Once the chocolate chips are shiny, remove the container from the microwave.
Using your scissors, cut a small corner off of the chocolate ziploc bag.

Hold the chocolate bag over the first Martini glass.
Lightly squeeze chocolate bag over rim of glass allowing the melted
chocolate to drip down the outside of glass. (If some drips inside,
it's okay.)
Continue until all 4 glasses have been decorated with the chocolate.

Take a small handful of the crushed Filberts (hazelnuts) and press the
nuts into the chocolate that is on the outside of the Martini glass.
Do all 4 glasses.
Refrigerate glasses until you are ready to serve the drinks.

Add the remaining chocolate to the bag of nuts.
Squeeze bag, making sure to mix well.

Lay the swizzle sticks (or coffee stirrers) on the wax paper.
Cut a corner off of the bag.
Place a line on one of the swizzle sticks and push one of the whole Filberts (hazelnuts) into the chocolate.
Continue until all 4 swizzle sticks are done.

Now cover each nut (that has been attached to the swizzle stick) with more chocolate.

Refrigerate until ready to serve.

When you are ready to serve, place ice in the shaker.
Pour in the vodka and the Frangelico.
Lightly shake the mixture and pour an equal amount into each glass.
Garnish with your deliciously decorated swizzle sticks.
Enjoy!

There's nothing like enjoying chocolate with the one you love. It's sensual, velvety richness is a delicious aphrodisiac. A study by Harvard Graduate students revealed that chocoholics live longer than those who do not indulge...so enjoy! Please remember to post YOUR DEFINITION OF LOVE in the comment box below...I'd love to read it.

Love, Light and Warmth to you!

Step 1: Prepare Mashed Potatoes

a). Fill a medium sized pan with water and heat on the stove.

b). Wash, peel, wash (again), and cut 3 potatoes. Place in boiling water.

c). While potatoes are cooking, prepare your work area and gather the rest of your supplies.

d). When the potatoes are cooked (soft), drain into a strainer to remove the water and transfer them back to the pan. Add 1/4-cup milk and a dash of salt, then mash. Cover pan and place in refrigerator (or transfer to a bowl and cover).

Step 2: Heat oven to 325ºF

Step 3: Prepare Bread Dough

a). Pour 1/2-cup of water into the glass measuring cup (or other microwave safe container) and heat on HIGH for 20-seconds.

b). Pour the water into a warm, LARGE mixing bowl--glass or metal is best. (To warm a cold mixing bowl, place under hot tap water for just a moment.)

c). Add 3-teaspoons of yeast to the bowl and stir until dissolved. While you allow it to stand for a couple of minutes, heat another 1/2-cup of water in the microwave for 20-seconds on HIGH. Then add 1-teaspoon of sugar and a healthy pinch of salt to the yeast and stir.

d). Place the 1/2-cup of warmed water next to the mixing bowl. Add 4-cups of flour and 4-tablespoons of oil (extra virgin olive oil is best) to this mixture. Using your hands, work all the ingredients together, adding small amounts of water at a time if necessary. (Here's a beauty tip that also makes this job easier--rub a few drops of the oil on your hands. The dough won't stick to you and your hands will be nice and soft later!)

e). Cover the bread mixture with the sheet of waxed paper and the cheesecloth (or towel).

Step 4: Prepare the Dessert
(Purchased Brownie mix is inexpensive and easy to prepare.)

a). In the second mixing bowl, combine the brownie mix, 1/4 cup of water, 2/3-cup of vegetable oil and 2-eggs.

b). Grease or spray bottom of a 8"x8" baking pan and spread brownie mix in it. Place in the preheated oven for 50-55 minutes.

Step 5: Work the Bread Dough

a). Place a few tablespoons of flour in a bowl beside your cutting board (or the work surface you are using). Dust the work surface with flour and place the ball of dough in the center of this work area.

b). Knead the dough, occasionally dusting with small amounts of flour until it is a firm, well-blended ball of dough. (You should now be able to work the dough without it sticking to your hands.)

c). Cover the dough with the waxed paper and the towel. Wash and dry the bowl you used to make the dough and then add a few drops of the oil to the bowl (Olive oil is best). Rub the oil on the sides of the bowl. Place the dough ball in the bowl and roll it around the bowl so that all sides have been coated with the oil. Cover the bowl with the waxed paper and the towel. Place in a warm place so that it may rise.

Step 6: Make the Meatloaf

a). First clean up the items you used to make the other items. Then chop the scallions until you have about 1-1/2 cups of them. Place the chopped scallions in a bowl.

b). Use the cleaned mixing bowl that you used to make the brownies. Add the 1-1/2-lbs of hamburger (use the leanest hamburger possible), 1-tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, a pinch of salt, the 28-oz can of crushed tomatoes (with liquid), a nice handful of chopped scallions, and 1/2-cup of rolled oats (oatmeal, not instant). Combine and place in a loaf pan. Cover with foil and refrigerate.

c). When the brownies are done, turn the oven up to 350ºF and then go to the next step.

Step 7: Cook the Meatloaf

a). When the brownies have finished baking, place the pan in an area to cool. Turn the oven to 350ºF.

b). Remove the meatloaf pan and the mashed potatoes from the refrigerator.

c). Add 2-tablespoons of margarine to the potatoes and mix well. Top the meatloaf with the potatoes and place on the foil-lined baking sheet (to prevent messy spill-overs).

d). The meatloaf needs to bake for a minimum of 75-minutes. Then you should check the meatloaf to make sure the center is the proper temperature of 160ºF.

Step 8: Make the Dinner Rolls

a). Position the 2 muffin pans next to your work surface. Remove the waxed paper and towel from the bread dough bowl and rub a few drops of the oil on your hands.

b). Pulling up a small amount of dough, roll it into a 1-inch (or so) ball. Place 4 balls in each of the muffin cups. (You do not need to use the cupcake papers with this bread.) When finished, cover each pan with a sheet of waxed paper and top with a towel.

c). Allow the rolls to rise while the meatloaf is baking.

Step 9: Vegetables

a). While waiting for the meatloaf to finish baking, clean the pan you used to boil the potatoes and fill 2/3 of the way with fresh water.

b). Wash and clean the 4-cups of broccoli and the 4-cups of carrots.

c). Add the broccoli and the carrots to the pan of water and place on stove, but do not turn on the heat yet.

d). Cut the brownies into 2" x 2" squares.

Step 10: Meatloaf

a). Once the meatloaf has been cooking for 70-minutes, heat the pan of vegetables to boiling.

b). While you are waiting for the vegetables to cook, check the center of the meatloaf with your meat thermometer. When it reads 160ºF the meatloaf is done. Remove it from the oven and place the rolls into the oven (first remove the towels and waxed paper).

c). When the vegetables first begin to boil, use a slotted spoon to remove them and put them in a serving bowl. Do not turn the heat off the boiling water yet. Add the 5-bullion cubes to this water and when they have dissolved, turn the heat off.

d). Pour the bullion soup into bowls and top each bowl with a small amount of the remaining chopped scallions. Remove the dinner rolls from the oven and serve with the soup.

Step 11: Bon Appetit

This dinner is not only tasty, nutritious and filling--it warms your body. The aroma it creates in your kitchen makes you FEEL warm as well. The heat from all that cooking was free...you had to eat anyway!

Love, Light and Warmth to you!
-Gabriel the Good News Messenger

Full List of Ingredients:
