No matter who we are, a mother of five, a movie Star, a diabetic or someone with an upside down work schedule-we all arrive at our new relationships carrying the barnacles of circumstances which at times make us difficult to love. step children, ailing parents,broken cars,wacky sisters we all have conditions that make it loving us a hardship for the person who choosen to love us. The sad truth is that most of us have too many obligations and too little time. We dont mean to drive our spouses crazy by not answering the phone, haveing late night meetings, by having 10 outfits thrown on the floor cause we havent had time to pick them up.,or by having a toothache for 6 days running~but we do In these and a host of other ways we ununintentionally abuse one another. We all require too much time from one another,in a sense we are asking our partner to do the impossible all the time. Love makes our partners willing to put up with all this real life nonsense all the time. But the truth is we need to be mindful of, grateful for and apologetic about the hardships our circumstances cause .Its easy to react from guilt or denfensiveness by thinking or saying putting up with my dying father cant be all that bad, She shouldnt complain about money spent for me going back to school, or improvements to this home. But we usually do need to own up to all these things. Be willing to acknowlede that lifestyle and undertakeings have a profound effect on our relationships. Remembering how we strech one another, and saying the appropiate please bear with me, Thank you for putting up with my hectic schedule, or simply I am sorry. will create in the midst of these taxing situations, moments in which we can appreciate the inordinate generousity and forebareance of one another.Rather than irrantants that become diviasive and destructive our hardships become occasions for deeping the intimacy. Acknowledgeing what we inflict and require make it possible for our mates to endure the unendurable and forges a new connection of love between us.

bird watching, deer watching and the price of Happiness

Many of you have known me for years but what you probley dont know about me is I am the daughter of a Wilderness Guide, departed from this earth His name was Tex Stout. My maternal side is a long line of bird watchers. I am the product of these two. Now most of you think of bird watcher get images of Khaki pants and old ladies with a little notepads and some binoculars.Okay so I own the binoculars, but no khakis can be found in my closet, My grandmother Ruby loved Cardinals. Before she died she told all of us to watch for her she would come back as a cardinal so every time we saw one We would know its her. Since she has been gone I cant tell you how many times I have said Oh look ~ its grandma !! How many christmases my presents have included a do dad of a cardinal. I love how my mother and three sisters have kept her memory alive in this simple little nuance. But I never was more pleased when I came to Wisconsin and went to the wildlife refudge for a chick a dee program. I listened to the sounds they make and learned what they each meant. Making the pinecones covered in peanut butter and rich oiled sunflower seeds to hang in the trees during the rough cold winters here, for these little furry creatures that can live in a little hole with just a simple oiled seed as there nurishment. seen to them a banquet fit for a king. So I didnt even know we had birds around in the harsh winter until I hung these treats, Now the morning air is filled with their happy cries as they find the seeds.It never fails to make me smile or fill my heart with joy that I am helping these creatures make it to spring. Well last night I slipped out the door to gaze at the quarter moon and to my suprise there were 4 Huge deers ,Magestic and proud stirring around not 15 feet from the back door.I am quiet by nature when I walk and they didnt bolt they just kept tramping around looking for food I suppose to munch in the melted place in the snow in our woods, So today I will go buy a salt block. So my night time can be filled with smiles to match my daytime chick a dee smiles. I guess what this article is leading up to is simple, the Price of happiness is not in fame and fortune, A big house and a fancy car IT IS About smiles and small wonders of our world. Now after 12 years on Keen and the hundreds okay MAYBE thousands of letters I recieve thanking me, I guess I have become immune. to praise since ego interfers with spirit messages. But the letter of hapiness from animals comes directley to the heart and fills me with so much Joy that my eyes fill with tears to be allowed to help the helpless with such acts as buying a little peanut butter or salt. So I encourage each of you to find your niche in this big Old world of ours and celebrate your part in it. I love all my clients dont get me wrong, and I love helping but to help others One has to stay uplifted and charged and this is one of my secrets passions toward the wee chicka dee s and a big heart toward those gentle doe eyed Bambis. I have to say one of the cheap easy ways to attract men is to refine the body.Smooth glowing skin, fresh hair, medium size and enough props(clothes undergarmets and makeup, perfume) Men are very visual creatures and a pose can go where a million long drawn out conversations can't.
