All seems to be swell in Keenland. The sun is peaking up over the mountain that I have a fabulous view of and it's surrounded by georgeous Ponderosa Pine trees. What a magnificient picture the Universe has painted for me to open my eyes to.

I am going to lower my rate on a permanent basis to 2.99. That's a savings of a whole dollar. Why? Because I can. My regular callers know that I'm quick and to the point, and I don't drag readings out. I also don't frost them. I've paid the price too often for telling it like it is, but I don't believe in streching out the fantasy. I look at my total points, and know that had I ASKED for the caller to remember to rate their call, they probably would have, and my total points would be higher. But, here's the deal: I don't ever ASK - I consider it a bonus when a caller takes the time to rate a call. Plus, I don't want to waste YOUR money asking you to rate ME.

Speaking of bonus, Keen added a new feature so that you are able to leave a bonus if you'd like. I activate this bonus when I lower my rate. It's entirely UP TO YOU as to whether or not you 1) rate your call or 2) leave a 'bonus'. Your choice.

I am available today for your calls. I usually am on until 8pm EST. If I am not available, please use the arrange-a-call and keen will call you when I sign on.

I hope you all have a wonderful Friday and are looking forward to a great weekend!

Sending you angels,
Jane

Here's my friend's new pot bellied pig, "Billy the Kid", cute Hunh?
(He kinda resembles my ex boyfriend - maybe it's just the smirk)

Angel of the morning....

I'll be running a 2.99 special today
(April 24)
Because I'm a Tuesday's Child,
it's my anniversary month,
and hey, why not?
Cheers!

Investing 101: Getting the most bang for your buck...

You take 50,000 to the bank. You then happily fork over your hard-earned cash and skip out the door...

You are full of anticipation and excited about this bank. They hold the promise of your future. You call your friends about the bank, and get upset with the ones that aren't as enthused about this as you are. You are convinced they are jealous because well, they don't have such a trusting and hopeful relationship with their banks.

A few months goes by. You've been very nice to the bank since you had your first contact, and initial deposit. Actually, you've gone out of your way to make sure that they see you in the bank, looking very pretty. They are polite to you when you're there, but aren't trying too hard to jump through hoops for you.

You've even called several times, but they haven't returned your calls...that's okay, they are busy. The ocassional times they've called you, you've jumped on the phone eager to talk to them, but the conversation concludes leaving you slightly confused and a little disappointed that they couldn't tell you more about what your money was doing.

*sigh*

Yet, you'll hang in there because you really, really LIKE this bank and you feel such a connection with the bank, and eventually you just KNOW that the bank will call you with fabulous news that your 50,000 dollars is finally hitting pay dirt!

Meanwhile, your friends are all very happy with the investments they've made and are off on a French Riveria cruise. You wanted to go, but couldn't. You're at home. Alone. Staring at the phone. Hoping that the bank will call you.

If your emotions were your money - would you tolerate 0% interest? NO and HELL NO. You'd take that 50 grand and sock it into the highest interest bearing account that is available, and do it so fast it would make your head spin. It would start earning money the MINUTE that you said a sexy little "HELLLLOOOOO Money Market Account..."

Respect yourself enough to be discriminate about WHO is entitled to YOUR emotional investments. If you aren't getting a return, LEAVE it. The market is full of competitors that can't wait to get their hands on your stash of cash.

************
Check my listing as I will be running specials
throughout April.

It's my 6th Year Anniversary
of providing advice on Keen.
(Actually, it's 6 years ago TODAY)

I am extremely grateful for the wonderful clients
and the friends I've made through this network!

Sending you angels for a joyful Thursday!
Jane

Surrender Dorothy!

Hey,Dorothy, at least you tried. When you try, there is no 'failure'.
When effort is put into something, this in itself is worthy of
congratulations! At least you saw that there was potential for a good
relationship, and tried to make it work....and trying is good.

Realizing that you're the only one putting the effort into making it
work is also good. This is the point where you say to yourself, "Self, let go of
this". And, in letting go, you surrender. Throw in the towel and call it a
day.

When a relationship
becomes too challenging for your own good, realize it. Why do you want the
drama? Why do you even entertain the notion that it can work if you're trying
to fix something that can't be fixed? Why do you put yourself in a position
that is the equivalent to Ali's punching bag? Would you take a 2x4 and continually bang your head with it? Of course not. So why are you putting in all your beautiful effort into someone that clearly does not deserve it?

Just as time marches
on, so should you. Stop trying to fight it. The accusations that serve as justification for his indiscretions are only going to persist. The way he makes you go "hunh?" isn't going to go away, either. Stop the insanity.

It's
called "Surrender, Dorothy". Take your little red shoes and *click, click* go
home.

Yes, it requires courage to walk away from something that you (think is) love. But, when
you're trying to love someone that doesn't know the first thing about receiving love, it's
a rather silly exercise in futility, don't you agree?

Maybe the Wizard can find you someone with compassion AND a brain next time!

******

SPECIAL NOTICE

It's my Anniversary Month on Keen! 6 Years! So, it is true that on the night of February 11, 2007, at approximately 8:00pm (Eastern Time) you WERE in the dining room with the Maid, and it looks like the candlestick was used somehow....See? I have the proof right here! Do you admit it or are you going to deny it????"

"I don't remember" (Selective Memory Syndrome. Often found in males/females that carry guilt).

Yes! I knew I was right! (Insert puffy chest and ego inflation). Otherwise you would remember it as clearly as I do.

But, Please - the Maid meant nothing! Please believe me - it's YOU I love! How oh How can I make you see that without you, I may as well not even HAVE a dining room because YOU are the one that provides the banquet of life that I feast on! Please, let me make it up to you... Please? Please?

I don't know. I'll have to think about it. I need a vacation.

If you take a vacation, I may not be here when you get back! (Spoken from fear of abandonment, mingled with guilt about the Maid).

Then, perhaps I am not truly the "banquet of life you feast on".....? Otherwise, you will think about how deeply you've hurt me and find an appropriate way to apologize... that is, if I am REALLY the one you want... (Spoken with fear of not being accepted, but the true nonacceptance comes from inside).

And, in reality, all she wants is a sincere apology for the pain that was inflicted on her at the time of the indiscretion. Isn't this all we ever ask for: Sincerity, Honesty, and if need be, OWNING the act that hurt someone else.

********
Since TODAY is officially "Tax Day"
and many of you missed my "Tax Day Reduction" Special on April 15
I am going to hold it again today
from
4pm - 7pm Eastern Time
at the discounted rate of $2.99.
Sending you angels,
Jane
