I have had many pepole, who have expressed their intrest in our culture. Many wanting to know a little about spiritual ceramony. So here is one of our most sacred of ceramonys. The Medicine wheel. In a Shamanic sense. It is a means to healing, knowledge, & power. It is a way of gaining access to the essence of exsistence. The Native know, there is a divine aspect to every living thing. First you will need to create a circle. This can be done in many way's. The best is if you use something from the earth, like rock's or a hoop made of a tree branch.Tell the stone or branch why you need them. Thank them for their sacrifice. You may even say thank you with a gift. Then place the circle on the ground and step in the middle. As your standing in the sacred center of the wheel. Rember the story of the great-granparents who made the sun and the earth. The beings who go on for all time.Unlike plants, animals or pepole. Who all live & die. visualize these two great beings & their sacred marriage in the center of all things, and know that this sacred marriage goes on for all time, renewing the world at each instant. Each compass direction is associated with a color. North color is white, its element is air & it's associated with human beings & thoughts. East color is yellow, its element is fire, & it's associated with plant pepole & spirt. South is red or green, it's element is earth & it's associated with animal pepole & actions. West color is black, it's element is water, & it's associated with stone pepole & feelings. Now you can use the wheel to reflect thing's about your life. Start in the south and move clockwise. this is were you find what your feeling's are. In the north find the facts. In the west find the solution. In the east take action. May the Great Spirit Bless you & may the Brightest star allway's light your path...............

~*~Pathway's to Peace~*~

The path to peace comes in many form's....Here are two ways ...... #1. White light meditation....This is just one of the many way's to enter the realm of peace. Black and white breathing is a beloved ancient practice. Breath at your normal pace and depth, In and out through your nose. Focus your attention on the place in your nose where you feel the cool air coming in and the warm air going out. After three breaths begin to imagine that all your stress and upsets gather in your chest as black smoke. On each exhalation, release the black smoke. As you inhale imagine beautiful, glowing white light entering the top of your head and flowing downward into your heart. No more stress or upsets only peace.....

THE FREEDOM OF ACCEPTANCE...

Most of us at one time or another. Have Felt that heavy over powering feeling of dread. The kind that just make us freeze. It can be about our significant other, our children, family members. Or it can be about money, not having enough for bill's, taxes, holiday's. It's called stress.... We are all very different pepole. So we feel stress in different way's. Some of us worry a lot. Other's get angry. The truth is... this is fear. We do not like to feel afraid. We are afraid that thing's are not turning out. The way we want them too. So we feel hurt or worse we hurt other's...All this does is make life very unpleasant. Physically, Mentally & Emotionally...Were does this stress come from ? Believe it or not it comes from our mind... day after day our mind pick's out thing's that should not be this way...Like we should'nt have this body ,this partner, this hair or these habit's. Or a million other thing's...Our mind just keep's saying over & over this is wrong...It's automatic and for the most part unconscious. we react stressfully not to what is happening, but to what our inner mind is whispering to us...This just mean's your human & full of judgements. You are not weak, a failure, a loser...It's just the reaction. That we have been influenced to feel as a society. In knowing this there is Power & Freedom... Because now we see... we have a choice to feel stressed or not...No matter what is happening around us. Or what is happening in the world. We can accept thing's as they are & rely on the universe to bring us peace... Acceptance is the first step to handeling...difficult situation's. It's about fully embracing life as it is...It means refusing to be consumed by what we want thing's to be...Instead activly engage in the reality that confront's us. By making every day the best it can possibly be...Seeing the glass half full... insted of half empty... Give the rest to the universe...
