February 7th Full Moon in Leo...What to Expect!

Tomorrow brings a full moon in Leo. What can you expect?
Here is a quick peek at the energies of this lunar event.

Leo is the sign associated with the heart...with love and affection and generosity.
Let's not forget that Leo brings a bright, positive and sunny energy since the sign of
Leo is ruled by the Sun! There is often an element of drama and people born with Leo
Moons are excellent actors and actresses. This together with the Aquarius Sun will bring
a bit of drama in an offbeat way.

The moon is full on February 7th at 18 degrees31 minutes of Leo. Remember that a
full Moon is a time when the Sun and the Moon oppose each other. A full Moon brings
completion to the energy begun earlier at the time of the new Moon.

With the Moon full in Leo and the Sun opposing in Aquarius there is a a need to get
our hearts and our dreams in sync with ou thoughts especially with Mercury (the planet
that rules thought and communication) very close to the Sun. Uranus will be in aspect
to the Sun emphasizing the cosmic message of this full Moon: be open to new energies
and embrace change with warmth and good heartedness.

Saturn making a station (for astrology purposes stopping in space) at 29Libra31 just
before the Moon is full adds a more serious note to this lunation, making it important
to revisit lingering situations and end that which simply is not working.

But overall this is a happy if slightly crazy full Moon energy so
get out and about and enjoy!

Sexy, Scorpio Moon Valentine's Day 2012 Predictions!

Valentine’s Day has evolved into a rather stressful holiday………..men feel their hand is forced in the area of love, romance and shopping, women feel pressured to have a valentine and the unattached of both sexes feel left out and annoyed by the whole vibe. Not always a Hallmark card moment!

Let’s have some fun and take a look at the energy each sun sign will relate to on Valentine’s Day 2012. Without a personal birth chart based on the exact time and place of your individual birth these descriptions are for general use only ….just like the daily horoscopes you see in the news.

My descriptions do include a synthesis of each sun sign’s characteristics with the chart for this Valentine’s Day which is very specific to 2/14/2012 …. a chart that is unique and different than any other Valentine’s Day in history! So let’s get started:

Aries
Fiery Aries sun signs have opportunity for hot love and romance with the planet of love, Venus, visiting the sign of Aries this Valentine’s Day. With the crazy planet Uranus in Aries conjunct Venus in the eighth house of sex and depth there is potential for some spontaneous sexual connections, maybe even of the kinky variety, especially with the moon spending much of the day in sultry Scorpio. With Venus approaching a square to Pluto and the natural ruler of Aries (Mars) retrograde, the PASSION is there but the longevity is questionable. Enjoy!

Taurus
With Jupiter in the sign of Taurus, Taureans will have an upbeat and expansive attitude about Valentine’s Day this year. Opportunities abound! The house influence shows energies involving travel to connect with a romantic partner whether traveling spiritually or physically. The vibe of relating to another at a deep level is strong. With Mercury approaching Jupiter communication is assured. Sex on an astral level is more likely for Taureans especially as Jupiter crosses into the sexy eighth house later in the day. The key word for Taureans is TRANSFORMATION!

Gemini
With the sun in airy Aquarius positively aspecting Gemini, the Valentine’s Day energy for Geminis is focused on a special connection that has the potential to last. Hope, wishes and dreams are in focus now. Geminis are more than usually inspired and unusually ready to stay in one place and FOCUS on a significant other…… at least for the evening! Tensions may build by evenings end so be careful not to get into a debate as the Moon enters Sagittarius. Geminis without an established partner will find their fun out with friends and mixing and mingling this Valentine’s Day 2012…..and just may end the evening with a partner in the wings.

Cancer
The Moon, natural ruler of the sign Cancer, is in sexy, watery Scorpio for most of Valentine’s Day 2012. Emotions and deep sexual attraction make this a Valentine’s Day to remember. As the Moon moves into the fiery and fun-loving sign of Sagittarius later in the evening, the security loving Cancer may throw caution to the winds and dive into INTIMACY relating totally to a partner. This Valentine’s Day could also bring a love from the past into the picture to complicate the entire scenario.

Leo
Proud lions will attract attention with Venus and Uranus in Aries, adding more flames to the already hot fire this Valentine’s Day. Emotions and desires may move at cross purposes with the Moon in Scorpio and the Sun in Aquarius but the day could end with much less frustration……when the Moon move moves into lively and fun Sagittarius. Valentine’s Day may bring a SIZZLING reconnection with a old flame or an unexpected sexual connection with someone who was “just a friend”. Don’t try to control these experiences but rather go with the flow for best results.

Virgo
Pure and Earthy Virgos will find their visions of reality tested somewhat this Valentine’s Day with the ruler of Virgo, Mercury, in close contact with dreamy Neptune in the equally dreamy and at times overly giving sign of Pisces. Watch for a tendency to over think things. The Neptune energy coupled with the energy of Mars retrograde in the sign of Virgo will send normally grounded Virgos into a spacey place. Virgos will need to decide if a situation with a partner seems too good to be true. The good news is that the grounded planet Saturn is still serving to anchor Neptune and will help keep the situation in control. Virgos will find the touch of the DIVINE in their connections this Valentine’s Day!

Libra
With Saturn in the sign of Libra at the critical degree of 29, Librans will encounter INTENSITY on Valentine’s Day 2012. The overall theme is one of revisiting love from the past, karmic love or a May/December romance. With heavy duty Saturn in trine with dreamy Neptune the opportunity to connect in a special way may come sailing in to the picture. Saturn in retrograde motion again emphasizes the theme of reliving the past with intensity. Sex, deep bonds, and karmic ties all can come alive with the Aquarius sun connecting in a strong way with Saturn and Neptune in Libra!

Scorpio
With the Moon in Scorpio for the majority of Valentine’s Day 2012, Scorpios will be electric and give off a vibe I can only describe with the term animal magnetism. With rulers Mars and Pluto in Earth signs there is a strong need to express intense feelings in a physical way bringing the desire to express via EXPLOSIVE energies…..and amazing sex! As the moon leaves Scorpio it approaches a trine aspect to Venus and Uranus at the end of the evening. The end to this Valentine’s Day could be an unforgettable one for Scorpio sun signs. Your feelings this Valentine’s Day are intense and perhaps even extreme. Be careful because during personal encounters you may meet your “darker” side or inner demons this Valentine’s Day with Pluto in your sign just past a square to Venus and with an approaching square from the electric planet Uranus. Your sun sign ruler Saturn is retrograde in Libra so expect feelings from past relationships to revisit your consciousness as well. Normally in control Capricorns may find passions and romance a bit out of control this Valentine’s Day. The emphasis is on the DISCOVERY of who you are through romantic encounters!

Aquarius
The Sun is always in the sign of Aquarius on Valentine’s Day but the aspects it makes reflect the energies Aquarians will be dealing with each year when Cupid fires his arrows. For much of the day the Moon in Scorpio will square the Sun in Aquarius bringing attraction and connection with a partner. However, the connection may make you aware of a conflict between what you want and what you need. This Valentine’s Day could bring some tensions or feelings of being unsupported by your special other. Pisces

Relationships On Trial! Saturn Begins Final Retrograde in Libra

We all swim in a pool of energy and are affected by these energies that literally surround us. Just as the cycles of the moon create tides by changing the energy surrounding planet Earth, ALL the planets in our solar system touch our personal energy in meaningful ways. I liken it to playing chess with God...a way of insuring that we are living our destiny! I recently sent you a heads up about Mars turning retrograde in Virgo. What's next now that Mars is retrograde? Saturn retrograde!

The Timing

It is important to note that retrogrades are NOT bad. They help us grow and allow change by creating a review option in our lives, giving us the chance to correct and revise a matter that needs to change. A spell check of sorts :)

Saturn turns retrograde on February 7, 2012 at 29Libra30 degrees. It stays retrograde until June 25, 2012 when it turns direct at 22Libra40 degrees. It moves out of its own shadow (the degree at which it turned retrograde) on October 2, 2012 as it moves forward into the sign of Scorpio leaving Libra (not to return to Libra for roughly 29 years).

What Does This Retrograde Mean?

To determine the overall effect of any retrograde we need to look at the quality of the planet itself and the nature of the zodiac sign it is transiting through. Saturn is the planet of limitation, restriction, responsibility and ultimately success through hard work and discipline. Libra represents how we cooperate with and relate to other people and situations in our lives.

Put these two energies together and we see that Saturn in Libra tests our ability to reach our goals in life through our connections with other people. Saturn in Libra also tells us it is time to get organized, set priorities and not waste time with people and situations that are not for our highest good.

The Critical Last Pass

Because this is the last retrograde period and it involves the ending degree of 29 ( a critical point) the energy for change is strong. Endings and new beginnings is the theme. Remember that Saturn will not be in Libra again for 29 years so it packs a punch!

Relationhips with family, lovers, co-workers and friends will all be put to the test. Self-discipline, honesty and a mature approach to personal relationships will work well during this final retrograde period. Saturn retrograde asks us to seriously reevaluate and reality test our long-term connections. In some cases we may be firming them up, fine-tuning and improving. In other instances, there may be separations or a total parting of the ways.

What to Expect

Saturn in Libra definitely brings flaws and problems into the bright light of day. This can be upsetting and traumatic but the process gives us the opportunity to see others for who they truly are and decide whether to work on building a better foundation or to let go. In the end Saturn paves the way for healthier, happier and more balanced relationships.

How this will affect you specifically depends upon where Saturn in Libra is placed in your birth chart. For example, if it is currently visiting your House of Marriage then your marriage or live in relationship will be tested. Astro's DOs and DONTs

A few of my helpful tips... the DOS and DONT'S about this energy:

1. Saturn retrograde in Libra may bring a past love back to life since Saturn rules time and is the planet of karma. This may be a past life love. Be prepared for that possibility.

2. Saturn may also bring up deep-seated issues in your relationship with your father. You may experience a sense of being carried back in time to revisit issues that were swept under the rug. This may happen even if your father has passed over. Again this can be very productive for you as you process feelings that were buried.

3. Saturn always rules business and it is best to not begin a totally new business venture during the retrograde. If you do it doesn't spell disaster but it often means that the startup will encounter difficulties and frustrations, taking longer to develop into a profitable business.

4. Be prepared to honestly face the cold, hard facts about significant relationships in your life especially those involving overlooked issues. Strong relationships will pass the test. Build a new foundation or let go based on the truths of your situation.

5. Honor commitments and obligations made to others to the best of your ability. Your intent matters during this retrograde. For example, if you promised your spouse you would support him/her more by handling additional family and household duties "do it!" Saturn brings rewards when we are responsible.

6. Take the time to listen to your significant others...and I mean listen not hear. Effective communication can work wonders during this type of retrograde and avoid more difficult situations.

7. Face your fears about the people and relationships in your life. For example, if you have had a feeling your girlfriend is cheating on you....don't ignore the issue. Face it now to avoid a more difficult fallout later.

8. Embrace this time as a chance to clean house and give your relationships and way of working with others a tune-up. Your life will be better because of the changes you make at this time!

Retrograde Mars Coming! What You Need to Know

Here are some great things to know with the planet Mars heading toward retrograde motion this month. Mars is retrograde every second year. Over a one hundred year interval, Mars is retrograde about ten percent of the time. Mars turns retrograde on Jan 24, 2012 at 23Virg05. Mars turns direct on 14 Apr 2012 at 03Virg40. It passes out of its own shadow...the degree at which it turned retrograde... on June 19, 2012. Until June 19th we will feel the effect of the retrograde period.

During this time all activities related to the planet Mars will not go as expected. For the most part Mars rules physical energy, drive, the body, metal and machines.....bringing fuel and fire to the life and its functions. This Mars (remember the planet is named for the God of War) retrograde occurs in the sign of Virgo. Virgo relates to healing, wholeness, the physical body and the need to bring what is imperfect to a state of perfection. Watch for issues relating to health and the details of how you live your life....from substance abuse to obsessive compulsive lifestyles. Mars will bring the areas that need work squarely and at times aggressively to your attention. Look to the house in your birth chart to determine where this need for healing and perfection and new habits will be especially felt !!

A few words of advice for handling this Mars retrograde cycle:

1. If encouraging a friend to delay an activity because of a Retrograde Mars (good advice), he/she will become uncharacteristically impatient. Expect people to be fustrated, aggressive and angry with tempers short and arguments plentiful. When Mars is out of sync tempers flare and frustrations build because energy is not moving in the right direction. Change does not happen has desired when Mars is moving happily forward.

2. When Mars is retrograde don't start a conflict for you will surely lose the fight. Mars retrograde always favors the person who was attacked. If you begin a lawsuit when Mars is retrograde you will lose the case.

Lets look at history a bit. President McKinley was inaugurated when Mars was retrograde and was assassinated. President John Kennedy was sworn into office when Mars was retrograde and he was also murdered in office. Leadership and aggression are both ruled by the planet Mars.

3. Surgery and cutting is a strongly ruled Mars activity. All non-emergency surgery should be postponed until Mars is out of its shadow.

4. A warning I picked up from astrologer Arlene Kramer....one that is not always heeded because it sounds crazy. Do not have sexual intercourse with a person for the very first time if transiting Mars is retrograde. If you do then before long the two partners will both turn on each other. It is difficult to wait because physical passion may run strong but because there are people who have not waited for a direct Mars, Arlene has written of this unhappy result often.

5. NEVER buy a car when Mars is retrograde. Mars rules metal and motion and automobiles and accidents. Cars bought while Mars is retrograde tend to be accident-prone or are lemons or both!

Caylee and Casey in Synastry....How Did Their Souls Touch?

A very helpful tool in astrology is the use of a synastry analysis.....by superimposing one person's birthchart wheel with another person's chart wheel (synastry) one can see areas that naturally blend and personal energies that create friction between two souls. Often there is a strong indication of karma. It is a way of seeing how two souls touch and exactly what energies they produce when in touch one with the other. Meaningful lifetimes between two souls always showin powerful synastry connections between personal planets like the Moon, Mars, Sun and Venus and the heavyweight outer planets especially the biggest heavyweights, Saturn and Pluto. I studied the charts of Casey and Caylee Anthony in synastry and was amazed at the connections between the two.

On the positive side, Caylee shows great love for Casey and vice versa with her Sun in trine (a positive aspect) to Casey's Venus. Caylee's Sun trines Casey's Saturn which shows that this connection offers a karmic gift to Casey from Caylee. Caylee's Mars trines Casey's Neptune which again shows a connection of body and spirit and speaks of a karmic gift fom Caylee.

There is less positive energy Casey to Caylee. In fact quite the reverse. Again we see Mars and Pluto as theme energies with Casey's Pluto opposite Caylee's Mars. This is a potentially violent aspect and one which played out in the transits at the time when Caylee was murdered. As a reinforcement of the negative angry energy, Casey 's Pluto sits right on Caylee's Mars. Again we see issues of control and anger that can result in a violent confrontation when energized by transiting aspects.

Adding to the dangers of this combination we find that Caylee's Saturn is square Casey's Pluto. This too is a very hostile and dangerous aspect. It was the aspect active in space when the Haitian earthquake struck killing hundreds of thousands of people. It was the active aspect in mundane (worldly) astrology when the terrorist attack of 9/11 took place. It is a lethal combination between two people. In a marriage we can say that it will ultimately lead to ..at best... divorce. In the case of this parent/child combination it clearly ended in a very diastrous finale.

When I look at the north node placements between these charts I can get a sense of why these two souls connected or kissed in this way. Casey's north node and Caylee's north node are both in the aggressive sign of Aries. Both fall within the ninth house of the other. The ninth house placment indicated that this lifetime had much to do with the balancing of spiritual karma and energies relating to the development of the soul. It would appear that Caylee came into this life to release her soul from a karma of abuse in all likelihood related to her mother Casey.

This mother and child were not born to a peaceful relationship given the very strong negative indicators betwen their energies. Sometimes the greatest gift is the gift of the soul's current life to another......Casey allowed Caylee to release her karma and as a result of this life lesson Casey will also grow as a soul through the trials and tribulations and difficulties that will haunt her because of the murder of her child Caylee.

This was a match made in heaven to be sure and one that has many elements of fatedness. Unfortunately the story is not one of patience and unconditional love, rather aggressively acting out of primal energies that ultimately destroyed a life. The interesting thing about karma is that one needs to look deeper to see who is the real victim and how the hand of karma or destiny is working. Is this karma received or karma balanced? In this case I would say undoubtedly karma balanced.

Synastry works so well when analyzing the energy dynamics between peoiple in a love relationship. I will shift my focus to this and soulmate energies and take a closer look at how two souls can kiss and connect in soulmate love. Those loves that feel like love at first sight. Do they exist and how do psychics and astrolgers identify the real deal...the soulmate forever love? Stay tuned!

Caylee Anthony......Born to this Fate?

The first thing one notices about Caylee Anthony's chart is the fact that she came into this life with a heavy Saturn energy. With Saturn in the twelfth house we see that she entered this lifetime with some heavy karma. Adding to this difficulty is the fact that the Sun and Mercury are in the twelfth house with Saturn making a stressful aspect (square) to Mars. The twelfth house is the house of karma and that which is hidden from view.

Mars square Saturn is often seen in charts of abusers or abuse victims. Tense energy between these two planets brings problems with authority and control. In little Caylee's case, this aspect attracted a difficult life situation that she was powerless to change. The Sun and Mercury in the twelfth house are problematic as well since they are weak in the twelfth and aspected by Saturn, another draining energy. With the square to Mars the overall picture is one of a soul who has come into this incarnation to absolve the soul of past life misdeeds having to do with the use and abuse of power.

It is clear when looking at the softer aspects in this natal chart such as the trines to her twelfth house planets from the Moon and Jupiter that little Caylee was loved and protected when not being subjected to the aggressive energies of Mars square Saturn and Mars square Mercury. This is a chart with much contradiction. Her Leo ascendant speaks of a need to be seen and heard and is at war with her hidden Sun energies.

I look to the highest planet in the chart to get a sense of the key energies operating for Caylee in this lifetime. The highest planet in Caylee's chart is Mars. It sits in the ninth house of spiritual lessons so again this chart sends the message that Caylee's soul came into this life situation to release itself fom the karma of misuse of aggression toward others in a past life. The north node is in the ninth house as well as well showing a strong fatedness to this particular energy and to this lifetime. It means that this life lesson is critical to the soul's growth. Mars energy played a big role in her path and ultimate lesson in this life.

The Stars Don't Lie: Casey Anthony at the Time of Caylee's Death

Part Two: Casey Anthony's Transits and Caylee's Death

One of the techniques I use in interpreting actions and energies involved in a person's motives as well as the nature of the event itself is to compare secondary progressed planets to the natal or birth planets. Secondary progressions are one tool astrologers use to see how an individual soul is changing with time and what challenges time brings to the soul.

Contact from progressed planets to natal planets creates a surge of energy...at times a person undergoes significant changes in attitude and the inner self is exposed....changes assimilated by the soul from birth to that date are reflected by the secondary progressions and contact with birth planets is telling.

At the time of Caylee's death Casey's progressed Mars had moved into Capricorn in the 5th house and is making a conjunction to Casey's natal Neptune. Without the use of hindsight, this aspect points to illusion, deceitful activity, substance abuse. The progressed Mars brings great energy and combined with the Neptune energy can cause a person to act harshly, irrationally or impulsively and then seek to avoid responsibility. Progressed Mars is also within orb of an opposition to Casey's natal moon, an aspect showing a tendency to argument or emotional discontent.

Even more compelling is the fact that transit Pluto was in Casey's natal fifth house at the time of Caylee's death. The fifth house rules romance, creativity and the child. Transit Pluto was just 4 degrees away from Casey's natal mars and retrograding, making it an approaching not separating aspect.

Pluto's power was heading for Casey's Mars. Mars to Pluto can be dangerous. The fact that Pluto is the transiting planet makes the aspect especially noteworthy. It takes Pluto 248 years to transit through a person's chart. Clearly, Pluto will not touch that spot of Casey Anthony's chart again in this lifetime and it... more than any aspect.... represents the type of aggression and anger (Mars) that can lead to destruction and death (Pluto).

Transit Mars was in Casey's first house adding extra energy to her already fiery Leo ascendant. Her ability to attract attention was high as shown by the transit Sun and Venus in her house of friends. However, at the same time transit Saturn in Virgo in her first house was bringing a heavy feeling of duty and responsibilty at odds with transit Mars. Transit Uranus, the freedom seeking planet, was in Casey's eighth house at the same degree as her natal Mercury and in exact square to her natal Uranus in the fifth. This is indicative of sudden and unpredictable energies at work.

It is clear that tensions were building in Casey's life and the Mars to Pluto and Pluto to Mars energies brought it to a deadly ending...pointing to murder not accidental death. Mars and Pluto in combination are involved in many a murder....eihther the perpetrator and/or the victim may have this aspect natally, by transit or progression. This aspect does not of course always manifest in murder or death but many murders or deaths involve this aspect.

It is always easier to look at transits and progressions in astrology after an event and make it fit the crime so to speak but in this case had I seen a pattern with Mars, Pluto, the Moon, and Neptune before June 16, 2008 I would have been concerned for Casey and the types of people and potential actions she might choose or be connected with. I will leave conclusions as to guilt, innocence and what really happened up to you but Caylee's voice will be strong as we look at her chart.

Four Part Series... The Casey and Caylee Anthony Story

Fascinated by people and human nature as it relates to life events and the stars, I took a look at Casey Anthony' s astrological chart as well as her daughter Caylee's. As a psychic and an astrologer I sense energies when I look at a person's natal chart, just as one would when meeting or speaking with the individual personally. Taking a look at both charts tells a lot about the energies involved in this situation and to some extent why it played out as it did. Today in Part One of this Series, I will discuss Casey's natal chart. Tomorrow in Part Two of this Series, I will look at the transiting energies that led to the shocking verdict. In Part Three I will do the same with Caylee's chart. In Part Four I will discuss the two charts in synastry (how they interact), looking at karma and fatedness and the connection between mother and child.

Part I : Casey's Natal Imprint

Casey has a Pisces sun with her ascendant in Leo. Clearly here we have energies at war. Pisces can be rather egoless and Leo demanding of attention. The energy that hit me full force as I saw Casey's chart is her anger, an unpredictable and explosive temper (Mars square Uranus and the Sun) further intensified by the mean streak shown by Mercury (ruling the mind and communication). Mercury is conjunct (in the same place) the sun and also squared by Mars and Uranus. One of the more famous astrologers, Cyril Fagan, categorized Mercury square Mars as the worst personal aspect in astrology.

Adding to the challenge these planets present, Neptune (the planet we look to in matters of dishonesty, ability to create illusion and ultimately spirituality in its highest form) is also square to Casey's sun (within seven degrees).

We now see the anger and potential for lies but in what area of life? Casey's sun is in her 8th house as is her Mercury. The 8th house rules sex, death, the occult, and money from other people and sources. Where the sun lies in a chart tells us where the vital life force rests and gives us a sense of how the soul defines its acitivity in this life. Mars, Uranus and Neptune the troublesome planets that challenge her sense of who she is and how she communicates lie in the 5th house.

The 5th house rules romance, children, creativity, and fun/recreation as well as speculation. Her fifth house Mars and Uranus seek freedom. This need for freedom is intensified by thae fact that both planets are in the freedom seeking sign of Sagittarius. As mentioned, Neptune (ruler of her Pisces sun) sits in the 5th house but it is in the sign of Capricorn (rules the 12th or last house, death, and Earthly structure). When we look at the key challenges in Casey's chart we see the 8th house of sex/death in direct and violent confrontation with planets in her 5th house of the child and recreation. The ruler of her sun (Neptune) is in her 5th house so we have another 5th to 8th house connection.

These are the critical energies which exploded and resulted in Casey's recent behaviors. Stealing, lying, promiscuity, unpredictable and violent temper with verbal outbursts are all potentially evident in these natal aspects.

It is interesting to note that she has Jupiter trine Pluto natally which is sometimes called the millionaire or Howard Hughes aspect and is a clear indication that Casey will experience power and gain as a result of this entire set of events. However Jupiter from the 7th house of relationships also squares Saturn indicating problems in self-awareness. There is a tendency to put herself down when comparing her capabilities to the skills of other people. The bottom line with this aspect is a tendency to avoid your responsibilities to herself and to those persons who depended on her.

A few other interesting points of note:

--Casey's chart does not show strong signs of abuse as does Caylee's (will show in this full report). Tense aspects between Mars and Saturn are strong indicators of abuse ...even Venus or the Moon to Saturn but these are not shown. Casey does have a retrograde Saturn and that can point to abuse but in this case I see it more as issue of power and control. Those with this energy tend to strongly declare personal boundaries in order to work out conflicts with authority on a karmic scale. She may have felt as though fate conspired against her and developed a persecution complex. The lesson of retrograde Saturn is one of patience and steady application of hard work as you overcome the impatient urge to cut corners. With retrograde Saturn in the 4th house of home in good aspect to Venus I do not believe she was abused but rather indulged and allowed to run the home leading to disastrous results for the famiiy.

--The moon in Cancer shows that she was born with the ability to be a very caring and nurturing parent as seen in many videos with her and Caylee. The condition of the moon opposite Neptune does show a tendency to be deceived by others and easily hurt....or to treat others exactly that way.....usually both.

--The Sabian symbol (symbols related to each degree of the zodiac in all signs) for her Saturn (Sag 10 deg), the planet of karma, is:
A THEATRICAL REPRESENATION OF A GOLDEN HAIRED GODDESS OF OPPORTUNITY representing the process of our society allowing individuals to spend their energies in the pursuit of greed and ambition through forms of what society calls "progress". Interesting indeed.

Timing in a Reading ... How Important is it to You?

Today I want to chat about time as it relates to psychic prediction because it has long been a pet peeve of mine. Those of us who are psychic by profession and/or call psychics have all come across the well known and well paid reader who prefaces all readings with " I don't do timing". How does this make you feel?? You tell me.....maybe it doesn't matter.

I ask you because you choose readers and ask for predictions....how much value to you is a psychic prediction that excludes the element of time? I would love to know your feelings on this topic.

I offer you the example of a soulmate relationship that so typically has a lengthy lifespan and many periods of change and growth as a part of its framework. I have had clients who are in the seventh year of a soulmate relationship who seven years ago were told by a reader that this relationship would reconnect. But.....because of an inability or unwillingness to commit to timing, left my client hanging. And hoping. And hanging. And calling back again and again. And hoping....until she found a reader who gave her a time frame to work with.

Some readers do not want to delve into timing because it is not for the tame or uninitiated readers. It also requires the ability to read energy fields and feel energy shifts so certain types of readers may not have this attunement. Because of the very nature of time, predictions with timing are inherently risky and increase the chance of inaccuracy.

I have spent years refining my abilities in this area and have learned to navigate through my own life situations relying on my sense of time....and this has enabled me to fine tune my radio antenna so to speak. Not writing this to promote my readings but really for the purpose of asking you....How useful is a prediction without timing and how important is timing to you in a reading?

How Will Saturday's Supermoon Affect Your Life?

When is a Moon a Supermoon?
According to astronomers, on March 19, 2011, the moon will be at its closest point to our planet Earth than it has been for the past 19 years. It will be just 356,577 kilometres (km) away, referred to as in perigree. On average, the moon is about 378,195 km away. At its furthest it is nearly 400,000 km away. During a lunar perigee and full moon, however, the lunar surface can appear up to 14 per cent bigger and 30 per cent brighter than any other full moon. This combination of the moon in perigree and the full moon is what astronomers label a "supermoon".

Previous Supermoons took place in 1955, 1974, 1992 and 2005 - all years that had extreme events.
The internet is buzzing with comments that the Supermoon has a hand in the Japanese earthquake and other physical disasters and while it certainly played into the massive energy event, I favor the fact that the planet Uranus at the time of the quake was at a critical degree (29 degrees) about to leave the sign of Pisces (water) and in bad aspect to the upcoming Supermoon.

The aspects in space make this particular Supermoon especially troublesome.
This Super Moon happens the day before the Spring Equinox as the Sun crosses into the sign of Aries on March 20th. Uranus just entered ARIES and will oppose the moon on the 21st as it enters Libra. This is occurring at a degree in astrology which is known as the Aries Point, a point of great energy release. Such a combination of energies, events, and planets can create unexpected changes.

How will the Supermoon affect you? As Above So Below
The key to the individual impact of any full moon lies in the aspects it makes to other celestial bodies in space as well as how your personal birth planets connect with or touch the energy from above. Remember "As Above So Below". At full moon the sun opposes the moon. On Saturday March 19th the full Moon is just shy of 29 degrees of Virgo and the Sun will oppose it in Pisces. As mentioned, 29 degrees is a stressful (critical) degree. It brings climax, endings and the resulting changes as does a full moon. Because crazy Uranus just left the 29th degree of Pisces (opposing the full moon), the moon is in perigree and the aspects are difficult, this supermoon brings instability over and above the norm.

The full moon is exact at my home at the beach in North Carolina at 1:30 pm on Saturday, March 19th. In general expect this full moon to impact us in a general way in areas of home and security, material and emotional. Not a good time to start a new business or purchase a new home!!

The full moon in Virgo is a fussy moon.
Stress levels will run high and arguments can appear suddenly and inexplicably. The moon rules emotions and in Virgo there is a tendency to stuff feelings and overthink so we may react in ways that are not in keeping with our usual patterns....too logical. Virgo energy demands perfection in a feeling situation....the Pisces sun demands that deep feelings be considered....hence the conflict. Tension is the result. So be aware of this general tendency and make a real effort to go with the flow this weekend. Remember with the moon next aspecting Uranus on the 21st, follow these tips for the week following the full moon or until you feel the energy change.

My tips for the weekend:

----Travel with care and consideration. Accidents may be an issue.

----Watch the tendency for you or others to be a bit unfeeling or overly demanding

----Check your reactions to people and events before you express...making sure that your feelings and thoughts are in sync.Strive for a place of balance.

-----Don't overeact .... Don't react at all until you breathe deeply and do some reality checks. STAY CALM!

-----Focus on the fact that all endings bring new beginnings so opportunity may strike without warning and be ready!

With the moon making its next aspect to Uranus be ready to rock and roll with unexpected events and changes....from the trifling to the more life upsetting variety. Of course, this depends largely on how your personal planets are affected by this Supermoon.

What Does the Law of Attraction REALLY Mean ?

The Secret is not the Law of Attraction
As a healer, psychic and astrologer I have been upset by the versions of the Law of Attraction that have popped into the mainstream ever since Oprah brought "The Secret" to the masses. Now far too many people believe the law of attraction is a force they can use to make all their dreams come true...a veritable Disneyland for those who get it right. Those of us who dont get "it" get stuck in the world of our own making. To this I say..."Ridiculous". Time to stop worrying about how much your thoughts are creating your reality. Relax and take a look at the FACTS about the Law of Attraction, its origin and meaning, and how awareness of the concept can contribute to a more meaningful life.

About the Law
In c. 391 BC, Plato built on Empedocles’ conception of philia (attractive force) and neikos (repulsive force) by postulating the first law of affinity that “likes tend toward likes” (likes attract), e.g. earth to earth or water to water, etc. In 1250, Albertus Magnus applied the conception of ‘affinity’ to chemical systems and postulated four laws of affinity.In 1687, Isaac Newton proposed that chemical affinities were due to certain forces that would likely follow similar laws analogous to the three laws of planetary motion. Most consider Isaac Newton to be the one who stimulated the discovery of the "laws of attraction".

Before this, however, the ancient Greeks knew from magnetic interactions that "opposites attract" and "likes repel". This factor is modelled essentially via Coulomb's law. Hmmmm likes repel? Magnetically.... Hmmmm....how does this work with thought patterns ? The point is that the Law of Attraction is just one scientific law governing the behavior of matter and "Like attracts like" is just a small component of the total scientific picture. What about the equally accepted statement that "opposites attract"? How does that fit into the secret and thought and reality?

New Age Theory and Human Laws of Attraction
In the mid 20th century, social scientists began to apply Plato's first law of affinity, i.e. "likes attract", to relationship life noting that, for example, people tend to marry based on such factors as age, religion, socioeconomic status, and education. In the 1950s, in opposition to this view, sociologist Robert F. Winch proposed the "opposites attract" theory, arguing that people are attracted to those whose needs conversely match his or her own. Now where does that leave those of us who are using the law of attraction in terms of thoughts and life? Will the energy of the opposite be attracted or the energy of likeness?

The Law of Attraction is now a metaphysical New Thought belief/version (not a law as they proclaim it) of the scientific law "like attracts like,” that positive and negative thinking bring about positive and negative physical results, respectively. According to the Law of Attraction, in New Age texts, the phrase "I need more money" allows the subject to continue to "need more money". If the subject wants to alter this he or she should focus their thoughts on the desire (having more money) rather than the problem (needing more money). This can take the form of phrases such as "I will make more money" or "I will find a job that pays very well". Hmmmmmm...Sounds a bit like the Wizard of Oz and by clicking my ruby slippers together and repeating "I want to go home" I can be with Auntie Em.

Enter Buddha
"We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts we make the world." - Buddha, in the Dhammapada

What Buddha is saying here is that we need to free ourselves from the limiting prison of the mind and of thoughts and instead relate to the energy of the soul. Buddha is suggesting that through the mind we create our own suffering because we are not following the urges of the soul. Although there are differnt nuances in Law of Attraction teachings, for the most part the new age message is 'change your thoughts and you can change your life.' But that is not what Buddha suggests. Buddha is saying that one should stop identifying with thought energy entirely because it misleads, pulls you from your soul desire and ultimately causes all human suffering.

Buddha, Jesus and each great spiritual teacher demands one to be free of Earthly desires and needs and wants and to instead focus on soul feelings and purpose. By telling individuals that thoughts create reality new age teachers are misguiding people, stressing their lives by putting pressure on controlling thoughts...rather than teaching how to be free of the enemy of thoughts. Examples about creating wealth are just what the metaphysical doctor should not order. It is the path of the seeker to seek the true self, the soul desire, and to simplify life. Instead "the secret "new agers place focus on creating happiness through embracing positive thinking and rejecting negative thinking. Egad!

Free Yourself from Thinking and Find Your True Power
To paraphrase a great soul who has walked this Earth, Parmahansa Yogananda, the ever new joy of God inherent in the soul is indestructible. So also, its expression in the mind can never be destroyed if one knows how to hold on to it. The true secret is to operate from your soul, where God resides, and to bring that energy to your day and to all you encounter in your walk in this life. Do not focus on material or external desires and needs buit rather the joy of knowing that you are living a life to serve others. Your happiness should never be subject to any outside influence.or a creation of the mind. Whatever your environment is, don't allow your inner peace to be touched by it. Rejoice in it :) Therein lies the real secret!

What Does January Have in Store for You?

Hello Saturn!
The planert of restriction and responsibility, Saturn, (think of its rings and frigid climate) rules the sign of Capricorn. Saturn is currently moving through the zodiac sign of Liibra. The sun is square to Saturn as I write this post, setting a tone for the month. It is one of inner change, serious focus, a demand for responsible behavior in relationships as well as finance and also speaks of a time to save and conserve.

To get the best of this month's energy, work hard with focus, tie up lose ends, address situations and relationships you have been avoiding. Be it relationship issues, taxes, worlk issues, finance, bills to pay, look toward Saturn to bring a serious tone. Remember too that Venus rules the sign Saturn is in (Libra) so responsible behavior is a key in matters of both love and money.

With Pluto also in the sign of responsible Capricorn expect more power thrown into this area of life focus. Mercury, Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune are now in forward motion (from retrograde status) making this a month in which we feel energies moving again. January is a time for setting plans in motion in a responsible and considered way.

What About Love?
Traditionally the moon rules our emotions and Venus our love nature. The sun is the man and the moon the woman symbolically...just as Venus is feminine and Mars is masculine. A look to these planets shows us that while the moon started the year in the heavy sign of Capricorn (not a happy place for the nurturing moon), it has moved into the sign of Aquarius bringing an energy that seeks greater freedom, identification with people in our lives on a group level. Venus just left intense Scorpio and is in fiery Sagittarius. This combination of the Moon and Venus energy argues for love that is far reaching, spiritual, seeks freedom and not confinement but is at odds with Capricorn energy which seeks security and stability.

January is the month to meet new people and connect with spiritual energies....in a way that is not impulsive but restrained and responsible. Help others in a measured way....sponsor a needy child for example. It is a time to prepare and be the turtle not the hare :) The challenge is to balance air and fire without losing touch with the Earth. Remember fire needs air to survive.... air does not , it simply "is". So use air energy to step back and look at your life and address issues.

Mars Makes it Happen
Fiery Mars is in responsible earthy Capricorn. Mars brings energy to all it touches. It is masculine and sexual. It is anger and revenge. What does fire do to the Earth? Yes, it scorches Earth. Mars in Capricorn is supporting the Saturn theme...and the need to be secure and safe. This is at odds with the moon and venus. Balance the energy. Love and romance needs to be tempered with a more mature nature and one seen realistically in the light of day.

Mars moves into Sagittarius later this month bringing an even greater desire to get out and experience new connections and freeing us from the heavier energy of Capricorn. YAY!

Closing Act
January will close with Saturn turning retrograde, a significant energy shift. On January 26, 2011 Saturn turns retrograde in the sign of Libra. This means Saturn is moving us toward change by taking us backwards to fix and address a situation we did not deal with completely or maturely since Saturn turned direct last May. This offers us a great opportunity to get our ducks in a row before Saturn turns direct on June 13, 2011 still in the sign of Libra. Saturn is happy in Libra so take advantage of this replay from Saturn :)

2011 WILL BE MAGICAL...OMG is That a Shark ?

As an energy reader, medium and clairvoyant astrologer I felt the vibrations of 2010 as quite heavy and coarse.....especially with Pluto in the sign of Capricorn squaring Saturn just after it left a heavy transit in the sign of Virgo. UGH!. The energy wreaked havoc on peoples' health (note the news) and around the Earth bringing earthquakes at a global level and violent energy expression in the realm of personal lives. WELCOME 2011 !

Miracles and Magic
I know 2011 will be a year of surprising good things and restore my belief in miracles and magic :) I was given personal validation when early on Friday, New Years Eve I felt the urge to go for a walk on the beach. Mind you I have not had the urge to hit the beach since October but I honored it anyway. .... asked my daughter if she wanted to go shell hunting but she said a friend was dropping by..... so I didnt venture out. Then she and her friend received an invite to his grandparents' home in Kure Beach.

I dropped Nick and Maddie at the house and headed for my personal beach spot, Fort Fisher State Park. It was later in the afternoon. The weather was unusually cold for Kure Beach, NC in December. The sea breezes were chilling and the sand beneath my feet was too cold to walk on without shoes. Armed with just my cell phone and car keys I walked toward the surf.

Holographic Beauty
I was immediately struck by the color palette of the winter seas. In striking contrast to the bright blue water and bright white sand in summer, the winter ocean on this day was silvery blue and shimmered with a crystalline light. It was low tide and calm with the sand a pale grey and the sunset sky reflecting as a cool, pale pink light on the water. The effect was holographic. The atmospheric energy I felt was cool and calm and ethereal. It was quiet with just a lone sea gull or two to be heard above the quiet surf and one flock of pelicans to enjoy the view from the air....(probably heading to a New Years party in Florida :)

Sharks ...on New Years Eve?
As I stood close to the surf a dark image flickered at the edge of my visual field and I turned only to see several dark fins slicing through the cold silver lake in front of me. Attuned to sharks because of the incidents we had in the summertime, I instinctively took a step back and then realized...They were dolphins. I stood as close to the sea as I dared and was treated to the most magical scene.

Stretching from the breakers on my left far down the beach to my right were pods of dolphins. There must have been three dozen or more and as I watched in amazement, they played with one another swimming in circles, leapt from the water together, smiling, jumping and playing as though they hadn't a care in the world. The combination of the winter colors, cold air, silence and leaping dolphins in such numbers was sooooooooo magical. These beautiful creatures radiate such pure joy and love and a complete connection to primal life force energy. They rejuvenated my soul. I was moved by their presence and this reminder of the true beauty of God's creatures (and the need to always carry by camera :)

Feeling the Energy of Pure Joy
Only a handful of people were on the beach and every single human there from toddler to senior was smiling and intently watching these amazing animals. Each soul was touched and entranced by the dolphins and their dance on this cold stark New Years Eve day, feeling blessed and touched by God. They clearly touched the heart of each person there. I have lived in this area for over a decade and have never seen so many dolphins and in the winter and on New Years ....all I can say is: " WOW! 2011 WILL BE A MAGICAL YEAR!! " Not just for those of us who saw this special dance but for us all.

Find Your Animal Totem
I urge each of you to be aware of how nature and its great power is ever present in your environment. Pay close attention to personal connections and visits with members of the animal kingdom. Native American Shamans believe the Great Spirit of God frequently uses animal spirits to send powerful messages to individuals. These are messages which should not be ignored but NEED TO BE NOTICED. When you become sensitive to the energies around you you will find that the same types of animal appear to you at significant times in your life.........That is how to discover your very own totem animal. Each of us has several so open your eyes and ears to ther smallest of signs and you will find your totem animal and much more in 2011......a magical year for us all!
