Taurus
April 21 – May 21
A comfortable existence with all the necessary treats and trimmings is what being a Taurus is all about. Your best earning opportunities will come in the two weeks following June 3. Be aware, though, that any jobs you accept during this period will involve lots of extra work and responsibility. On the plus side, this will be both creative and energising. As far as earning money is concerned, your best opportunities fall in the two weeks following July 3. If you get a job, though, it may not have a lot of benefits. Jun 22 - July 23
You shop for quality and value – and expect things to last. You won’t have to raid the sofa cushions in search of cash this year. On the contrary, money will come from a variety of sources. Your first windfall may arrive in the days following February 7, when a solar eclipse brings you money from an inheritance, grant, or scholarship. Feb 20 - March 20
Pisceans tend to be either very good with money or very bad. Finding a new job is favoured in the two weeks following April 6. Be prepared, though, for this position to eat into your leisure time and bring added responsibilities and duties in its wake. Getting into an office romance could compromise your job so you’d be wise to resist temptation and concentrate on your work. Why Some Spells Work & Some Do Not

At first I thought to give you a blueprint on how to get your spells to work, but we all know that spiritualism, energy and with all aspects of magick you cannot possibly give a handover that will work for everyone! You don’t have to believe in Magick but many for centuries have and Hollywood certainly does! If you’re reading this article you obviously believe to some degree that magick does work so by no means do not read any further if you are looking on being convinced. I’ve met people from all over and many ask why didn’t their spell work, how much longer will it take or ask even the biggest question DOES MAGICK WORK?! From the surface I will tell you that if your magick did not work, it may have not been done properly, and magick takes as long as it has to lastly magick definitely works!

If your general practitioner when affiliating yourself with ANY magick make sure of the following:

Proper Timing
Proper timing the magick correspondences is key. This may start of with the correct day, month, and time that the spell should start and in some cases should end. The Moon phase is one of the keys to potency not to mention the success in Spell casting. Farmers and botanist have been using these timing to a huge degree for centuries.

The most popular correspondence many practitioners use is by using the 4 phases of the Moon. There are four phases of the Moon... New Moon, Waxing Moon, Full Moon and the Waning Moon. Each of these phases has a 7 day period for doing your Magical workings. The other popular timing is that of astrological positions of the planets to days of the week. For instance you wouldn’t want to cast a spell during a Mercury Retrograde for a grand announcement because during this time communication is very mis- communicated to during this time.

Ill Prepared
Just imagine having guest over at your new home for dinner and not only did you not think about having beverages, or you didn’t bother to stock the bathroom with the necessities. Need I say more? You may possibly need herbs, colored candles, and in using sympathetic magick more and likely an object that represents your spell objective such as a rose, a piece of clothing, lock of hair etc, oils and of course the proper spell. The herbs, colored candles and oils are specific ones that are associated with that type of spell. In other words they have a vibration that is related to the what you are trying to accomplish. For instance if you are doing a love spell you would not want to use green candles... you would want to use red candles and if you were doing a money spell you would not want to use red candles... you would use green. The Right Practitioner
Remember, not all practitioners are gifted equal. Just as you must shop around for a medical physician you should do the same for your magick practitioner until YOU feel comfortable. If you are trying to do a love spell, you must have the emotion of love for that person to project out into the universe in order for it to manifest. In other words you cannot be angry or depressed when doing the love spell. The same goes for Black Magic Hexes and so forth... you must be worked up into rage or a very hate filled mood to project hate at the Victim. You cannot expect a Hex to work on someone if you are in a elated state when performing the spell. Your mind must be in sync with the type of Spell you are doing. Plus you must believe in your work and not have doubts. How can you expect a spell to work if you don't believe in them (the practitioner) but you want to try them just to see if they do work. In many cases to hire a practitioner to do this work for you will cost you more than you’d pay to do it for your self as the spell is not for them put for you and the desire is then thus transferred. Last but not least and I must say out loud: Just because your practitioner or you start to study or have had some interest in paganism, vodou, kabalah etc. does NOT make you or the other person a guru at spell casting!!!! Again, it only comes with practice and dedication!

Consider the equation of Will Fate & Destiny’s Timing
This is one of the most trickiest of them all! Your “WILL” plays a huge part in any given spell and so does the “WILL” of others so do consider this notion. Now is it your Fate and Destiny to attain what you want? Well…let’s just say that all that WILL Be WILL Be. This is just too deep of a topic to go into one Newsletter but any wise practitioner knows how to deal with this would be dragon! Finally, how long does or should a spell take to work? Just know that the Universes and or spirits time does not adhere to our universal clock work here down on this planet earth. If done properly in time (undefined) your desire will manifest as the energy you have put out to do so…

The experience of the Practitioner
Remember that practicing magick is a building process. You won’t gain instant wizardry by going to the nearest bookstore or via the internet etc and casting a few spells from the book. Dabbling only begets you dabbled results. So start of with simple spells if you’re new to the practice. If you go to a practitioner make sure you interview them, and by all means don’t be afraid to ask for references. If you do decide to use a practitioner make sure your relationship is an open and honest one. One of my biggest peeves is a client that isn’t open about his or her case and denies the obvious.

The Energy of the Practitioner
If you want results, potency and success ENERGY is a is KEY! From protecting yourself during a ritual to casting a lustful love spell to boiling all the energy needed into Hex spell – without the energy there is no result – or at least the results you anticipate. Before you do any spell put every non magickal energy you know to get things in order to help as magick is not a band aid or blaster to put onto a problem!

Your Knowledge and Belief
You must believe in your magical workings not to mention understand what the hell you’re saying. Don’t give an oath or pray to a god, goddess or spirit that you aren’t even familiar with not to mention are unable to pronounce their name! You must have faith, be patient and you must believe but above all it’s more than helpful to know something about the origin or why the spell should work for you. So many of you want to try some spells first to see if they work and then you'll decide to believe. That's not the way to do it! If you do not believe in the Occult and Magick... then I suggest you stay away from it as Magick is a way of life.

The proper Spell...
Let's face it... you must have a good spell as much as you should have the proper prescription for your ailment! Some of the spells out there are pure crap and some are really good. Some spells may work better for you than others, so experiment and keep a journal of your workings so that you will know which ones work best for you and which ones don't. Also just because a spell doesn't work for you doesn't mean that it is no good... you may have not been the right state of mind or maybe you didn't have the proper materials. All the above things on this page come into play. So like I said... keep a journal and find the Spells that work for you!

Dedication
Some spells require several days and for you to be very loyal to the timing of when you re-enforce them daily else the spell is incomplete and will not work. This means from the start of preparation to even AFTER the spell has been cast. Many first time casters forget the oaths they’ve taken or the seriousness behind the words mentioned within their rituals during their spell casting. Dabbling will only get you in trouble not to mention unsatisfactory results.

One spell at a time
Sorry, mixing spells is not prohibited. Mixing materials from other spells used and finished is not going to work here as the energy from those items such as your candles and materials relating directly to the spell done last has that energy specifically as hopefully you had raised. I know you want Fame, Fortune, Beauty, love, Luck and what ever else you can get but everything takes time and energy.

7 Helpful notes on Love Spells

Love spells can be an effective tool for enriching your love life. But be sure to remember the adage, "Be careful what you ask for, because you just might get it." Think carefully of the type of love spell you want to cast, the possible results and what you hope to receive from the spell. You will find that love spells, as with any magick, can help turn your desires and wishes into realities in your life.

Know the intended
One rule of thumb is that if you are in need of a spell on a particular person or your relationship it is BEST that you are currently in a relationship with the person intented. I once had a young man name several women he wanted a love spell done on within 30 days and he knew none of them! You may however, have an attraction spell done on your behalf - just make sure it's specific!

Stay away from manipulation
Is Casting a Spell an Attempt to Manipulate Others? Love spells, as well as other love spells, work with the positive energy that is in all things and all people. That means the practice of spell casting respects the free will of the people towards which the spells are directed.

Love spells can be just as effective when cast correctly and in the right spirit. A responsible spell caster will use spells that are worded to not be manipulative or violate free will.

Enhancement is Key
A reunited lovers’ spell can be worded to enhance, and bring to the surface feelings that already exist for you until your lover thinks of you so much they can’t wait to have you back. In this way the spell is not creating new feelings, nor is it making your lover bind to you outside of his or her free will. Don't forget that enhancement should not stop at the ritual altar...work on your relationship as well!

Free Will is Law
This is not only respectful of the free will of your lover, but it is also a fullfilment of your deepest desire. You want your lover to desire you from his or her own free will, not because they have been manipulated to do so, or because they have been put in a kind of trance over which will have no control over and mostly likely will always have to be re enhanced.

Know when to have your spell cast
An experienced spell caster is the best person to cast a love spell for you. The most important of these is the wording of the spell itself, but the date and time of the spell casting is also important. Experience has taught me that casting on the best date in the lunar month yields far greater results than if cast immediately regardless of the lunar cycle. However, you'll also find in other traditions time ie. hour of the day etc may be more important etc. If you do decide to go to a spell caster, tell them the truth about your situation to "one" get faster results and "two" not to cause damage with your advisors relationship and you not to mention potentially more problems in the love relationship that you've gone to them for.

DYI
Consider taking care of the carnal things in life at hand on "this" realm as spiritual energy is best done when you are well focused because it should be a last resort of course. On the other hand, if you prefer to cast the spell yourself, that is possible too. But obviously if you are inexperienced you will need some guidance. You’ve been there before:

You buy that crystal for it’s magical properties but then you decide that one is never enough to do the job so you buy that special amulet, however soon you find out that perhaps it’s a different shape that’d make the difference in attaining the result you want – before you know it, you’ve a collection of assorted “what not’s” to start your own ebay online store if so chose to sell them at one point.

The same goes for all those do-it-your-self spell kits, candles, and my favourite, those annual astrology compatibility books that you’ve kept for years…”why?” They say if you don’t use it, you’ll loose it” Well, because it’s not a human ability to go back into time, lose the outdated books that reference yesteryear not to mention the spiritual and new age items you purchased that you have no intention of using again or have ever used in some cases.

The tools you use for spiritual enhancement and magick is like the ingredients of medicine. Some medicines loose their effectiveness, some should only be used for a designated timeframe, and some medicines need to be reinforced sometimes to be stronger but for crying out loud they should be used else thrown away. After all the tools that you purchase unless displayed as ornaments are to be used less that contain no power at all.

It’s not hard to keep up with your tools, and know what to do with them…but very some very simple guidelines below to assist with the clutter on your altar:

1. Your tools should be charged properly with the correct corresponding activating spell, incantation etc. Don’t just purchase that “Money Tree” amulet and that that you’ll be able afford to go to P Diddy’s party’s on a regular basis.

2. If your amulet has served it’s purpose and has proven to work for you keep it and disregard all the other crap that you have that’s not working… the amulet, charm etc. that you use will continue to be charged with working for only you.

3. Be mindful that those tools you purchased in that New Age store or online can carry negative energy, so make sure you are aware of what you have hanging around your home and you in fact are acting spiritually counterproductive to what it is that you want.

4. A note on love:……it’s going to take some work…a little more than a Rose Quartz!

5. Books: Do your homework and look on the internet first – it’s free! Don’t get stuck purchasing something that just going to collect dust. The best books on spiritualism, the occult and new age are timeless compact with priceless information not found on the internet!

6. Study the significance behind what you want to purchase. Many spells, incantations, and amulets have words, and symbols that you don’t know what they hell they say. Make sure you lean the meaning and feel the meaning less it’ just becomes a novelty.

7. Lastly, however foremost, change your mindset and focus on the energy and power you have over purchase anything as your inner power IS stronger than any item you can buy.

You don’t have to through everything away that you have as I’m sure if not magical some items may be sentimental to you…like your first tarot set or your first pendulum etc. Go ahead and keep those but get rid of all the other garbage that 1) you don’t use and 2) Haven’t done crap for you!

Keeping all that doesn’t matter just becomes the stereotypical “mumbo jumbo” it just doesn’t work. Once you’ve cleared you altar, cupboard or room up unwanted or unused items, you’ve only your dedication, and knowledge on the matter at hand to deal with attaining your spiritual goals which is a job in it self…but at least you’re closer than you were before than to have tools that don’t contribute to your cause.
