Hello Readers,

I would like to introduce myself along with some of my work. I mostly follow my intuition and receive messages from a higher power (my spirit guides). I sometimes get visions and sometimes I relay what I feel they are telling me. I also use tools such as tarot cards to confirm these visions and runes if necessary for very difficult situations.

I like to be referred to as Miss Intuition, (that's pretty self explanatory.) I not only take calls here but I answer questions in detailed length to people on another site as well.

The following is an email I sent to someone inquiring about her psychic abilities. I have edited it a bit for her anonymonity. Perhaps you will want to try the excercises I suggested for her so that you can become more in tune with your own abilities.

It is no trouble, I do this to help other people AND to maintain & keep my psychic abilities active so that they do not get rusty so to speak...

Everybody has this psychic ability. There is no individual amongst us who does not have this power. You can guarantee that if no other psychic power, people have intuition-- this is a blatant psychic gift. Some of us have more faith in ours than others do but we all have intuition.

Now the advancement that you are hoping for, will take actual development of these gifts... There are many different kinds of psychics -- clairvoyant, clairaudient, etc...

I know this is all intriguing but if you are truly interested in developing your gifts, try finding a few books on the subject. To get started try a few beginner books. Then you can play around with tarot decks, runes, kits, oracle cards, etc... You can find all of these available from beginner to advance.

One good book that I can recommend that is really clear cut and a great beginner book is: The Gift (Understand and Develop your Psychic Abilities) by Echo Bodine . She's even included simple excercises you can do. Like me, you might even find that some of the excercises she suggests you've already tried!

Developing your gift is all good fun but it's hard work. It takes focus, patience, dedication but above all FAITH. You have to believe in and trust your intuition. You also have to understand that you may be wrong at the beginning or from time to time. It's best to have a mentor but it can certainly be done alone when you are acting from the heart. You don't have to give up your day job or take a chunk out of your day to study but you do need to actively engage in learning.

Yes you can master these abilities and be incredible but there is always more knowledge and the sky's the limit.

Soon you'll have your own tried & tested way to 'see' or predict.
Things to look out for when you start getting in tune with your psychic abilities (if you haven't already) :

-Synchronocities. Little coincidences will start popping up all over the place in questionable time frames. (Once I ran across a specific mark twain quote on 3 separate occasions in less than 48 hours-- completely random)

-Numbers. You might start seeing significant numbers or number patterns in everything that you do. (On clocks, receipts, signs, licensce plates, etc...) This will be pretty creepy until you accept it. Good thing to do is pick up a book that explains the numbers meaning.

-A different perspective. I believe that once you are opened up to these new energies that you have, you will start to focus on the inner soul as opposed to the persons' shell and understand that some people have lost their way. You will note that you have a noticeable increase in compassion towards other people.

I can never claim to be the best. There are psychics far more advanced than I am but I do have faith in the visions I receive.
When my abilities started to shine through I kept them on the back burner because I didn't know what to do with them or where to begin.
Like you I could sense things happening before they actually did and predict outcomes.

Some very simple beginner excercises that I suggest that can help you to start immediately are just simple childsplay using a deck of playing cards:

1. Try shuffling a deck of playing cards, turning them face down and predicting which color will be uncovered (red or black). Go one by one through the deck and as you pull them put them in two separate stacks. One for the right guess and one for the wrong guess. Make a note of how many you had right out of the deck. Shuffle and try again. Over time you will get better and somedays after great improvement you will be not-so-great. This just means your psychic energy is low or 'off'. Make sure you focus on each card before you pull but don't focus too hard or try to see through the card. You have to trust the first urge that pops into your head whether its right or wrong. You'll find that YOU are not the one 'guessing' at the cards but your higher self is whispering the knowledge it already knows to you. This will develop your faith in your abilities and prevent you from second guessing yourself.

2. For a bit more advance, shuffle the cards and spread them out in front of you. Hold your hand above them and try picking any face card. There are fewer of these in the deck so the odds are slim but allow your higher self to guide your hand to the right card. Allow yourself 3-4 pulls and then turn them over afterwards to see if you pulled a face card. Note how many out of 3-4 you got right. Repeat.

3, Doing the same excercise as #1 above, remove the Aces and Face cards and try guessing numbers. This is FAR more advanced because there are 8 possible choices (2-9) but you will be amazed at how many you start to get right.

You can even try 'envisioning' things and building that ability up. When you do you will be able to attract great things in your life by envisioning them but be careful it works both ways and it NEEDS to be controlled.

I hope you continue to have interest in your abilities and will develop them in the future, they will bring great happiness.

Even with all of that I think that the best piece of advice that I can share with you is to ACCEPT your spirit guides into your life. They can be great mentors as long as you acknowledge them, believe what you show them and show gratitude.

I am very passionate about this subject and I am very happy to see you showing interest in this field.

Overall it is a very rewarding experience. If you want to go for it, don't hesitate.
