I'm the advisor for you:
OK, now let's be serious. Life can be very lonely, and it doesn't help that advertisers constantly bombard us with images of happy (and invariably stereotyped, heterosexual) couples and their families. The implications are that if we're by ourselves, there's something wrong. If we're gay or different in any way (hello, Goths, non-Judeo-Christians, and environmentalist tree-huggers!), there's something wrong.
You bet there is, but not with us. We're just looking for someone with whom to share life in a mature and mutually enhancing manner. It can lead to marriage, but not everyone wants that. Also, not everyone equates "relationship" with "sex."
Stop feeling alienated. Call me when you want a sounding board, because I've lived long enough and been through enough (including emotional and physical abuse) to be able to truly listen. As for advice, yes, I do have psychic ability. But I don't pretend to read minds, or match up "soul mates." My love and relationship advice is for this world, because we live in it. And there's no reason for anyone to feel like they've jumped off the Science Fiction shelf at the library! LGBT welcome!
