I am an accounting and tax professional with over 15 years of public and private accounting experience. I have spent 10 years working in tax accounting serving the general small business and individual client. I "cut" my teeth with two years in the Internal Revenue Service as a Revenue Agent (I audited individuals and businesses). I left the service and went to work in a small local Public Accounting office. The focus of my work since then has been individual and small business taxes, small business consulting, and IRS representation. I left the public sector for 5 years to serve as the top financial executive of the largest franchise preschool company in the nation. I returned to the public sector with a keen awareness of the nuances of running a business. I feel this experience was invaluable to my professional development, and I continue to offer controllership services to my clients. One of the most important things to individuals, and small businesses is to pay the least amount of tax as legally possible, keeping that money for your needs. I am currently accepting clients in New Haven, Middlesex, and Hartford counties in Connecticut.
