Welcome! I am Dr. Char, award winning author of Make a Joyful Noise: Searching for a Spiritual Path in a Material World. Although I have certainly earned my degrees* and have over thirty years of self-help study and reading to draw upon, I feel my true qualifications come from what matters more:

But this is not about me, this is about you! You need someone to listen -- a private ear to hear what you have to say. I understand, I am that person.

Although I am not a medical doctor, a lawyer, a scientist, or any of a hundred other titles and labels that could be pinned on a person's lapel -- nor do I profess to be -- I will give you the benefit of my life experiences, insight and understanding.

I cannot promise all the answers -- I do not believe that any one person or group has all the answers, but I will give you honest feedback that is based in love and dignity and that which honors you as all that you are, a spiritual being having an earthly experience.
I have noticed that clarity comes through understanding. I will help you find that understanding.
