To hire my services I require at least 1/2 down of the agreed upon amount for your project. This deposit covers my time editing and creating graphics. For this reason this fee is non-refundable. I will work with you to get the design to your liking. The fixed price cost of the project provides the initial design and up to three (3) edit sessions.  Any changes requested after the third edit session, or after acceptance and final posting, whichever occurs first, will be charged at my hourly rate of $30.00 

I will provide free mintues for us to discuss your design ideas and your needs by phone.  Please make sure that if you have a picture or idea in your head you discuss it with me prior to deciding to contract with me for services.  This way I have a clear picture of what you have in mind and will better be able to provide you with a realistic timeframe for completion and the cost involved. 

Once we have discussed your needs and agreed upon a price, I will send an invoice for ½ of the project fixed price.  Your payment of this invoice will constitute acceptance of these terms.   Once you pay the first deposit, I will develop the initial design for your review and will create a link where you can preview the design. This link is in my account and will not contain your member photo or feedback. These things are not affected by my design.

Once you are totally satisfied with the design and have accepted the design in writing by email, I will send a request for payment of the remaining fees (second ½ of the fixed price and any additional hourly fees if applicable).
After receipt of payment, I will post the design to your site and this concludes our transaction.  With the exception of correcting any typographical errors, once the design is posted to your account, our transaction is concluded, any additions or changes you request thereafter will be considered additional work and will be billed and must be paid in advance.   If you pay for an original design created with multiple images or a collage this image will be closed for editing once I post the design to your account. Be sure you are happy!   

The technical issues associated with editing a multiple image or collage image file requires a complete recomposition of the page and will be treated as a new project. Since I have the graphics on file I will charge a reassemble and edit fee of ½ of the full original price.  Therefore, do not pay to post if you anticipate design elements to be adjustable or removable and replaceable to a layered image once it has been flattened and closed. I can however add additional images to an existing design for a nominal fee.

Images that I provide have been appropriately licensed and the license fees are included in the price I have quoted to you.   I accept no responsibility for copyright infringement on any images or text for your page which you have provided to me.  I pay to host the images at no additional cost to you provided that you leave my signature at the bottom of your web page.  If my name is removed, your images will be removed from the hosting server.   

I guarantee to never ever use any image I have used for you on any other page I create for a KEEN/Ingenio advisor. Once I use it I retire it for good. You and only you will have license to use it and only on your KEEN page.  If you would like to have the images for other uses, I will happy to provide them to you provided that you pay any license fees involved with the transfer of those images to you.

Your payment of invoices issued by me for web page design work will constitute your acceptance of these terms.  Additionally, prior to final posting of your site to KEEN or Ingenio, I will request that you agree via email to acceptance of your final page and these terms and conditions.
