ADHD is truly a gift only a few select people have been given. I have a Ph.D. in Psychology (Forensic Emphasis), and a Psy.D. in Psychology (got 'em both at age 50 after 20 years of adrenalin rush on submarines)and I have the gift of ADHD. I have tested many people both old and young with the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS-III)for adults, the Wechsler Intelligence Scale (WISC-III) for children, the Wechsler Individual Achievement Test (WIAT-II)and the results are in! These folks test with about 10-30 points on average higher I.Q. than the average person. Why don't we know we are smart? Simple! Until now we have always believed others when they told us we were somehow a bit dumber as we sped along with them trailing behind and whining in the proverbial dust we left. No more dumbing us down!
