Business and Strategic Planning Advice
MNETTA, MBA is a finance and business professional. Over his career Michael has held positions of increasing scope within both large and small organizations. He started his career as an investment accountant and operations analyst for Prudential Insurance Company (now Prudential Financial) where he was responsible for the day-to-day operational support for Prudential Capital Group’s private placement portfolio. From there he moved over to one of the company’s business units where he was in charge of creating the annual strategic and operating plans that included the forecast of a multi-billion dollar sales plan and a multi-million overhead budget. Michael’s career at Prudential also included the position of Supervisor in the Investment Operations department where he oversaw a staff of 8 associates who provided operational and accounting support to various units within Prudential Investments. After leaving Prudential, Michael held the title of Product Manager for a New Jersey property and casualty insurer where he was responsible for strategic product management of a $100 million dollar portfolio. Michael’s professional experience also includes positions of Operations Manager of astart-up international real estate development company and as Director of Finance with a New Jersey-based urban redevelopment company. Over the course of his career he has gained valuable insights in the areas of financing, market analysis, operations and management. In addition to his professional experience Michael is also an entrepreneur. Over the past six years, he has invested in several real estate development projects. Michael also formed a strategic consulting firm called ProSight Business Solutions. Through this entity Michael has provided strategic consulting and business planning support to business in industries ranging from marketing, banking, apparel and food and beverage. Michael received a Bachelors of Science degree in finance from Rutgers University. He also earned his Masters of Business Administration from Rutgers Business School. Michael also is an educator having served as an adjunct professor in the undergraduate program of Rutgers Business School since 2003 and in the business department of Union County College since 2008.
