I've just spent the past year and a half writing for Optionetics.com, a website for investors and traders. A number of my articles can be found by simply doing a search for my name. I have quite a few years of experience in trading stocks, options and other derivatives in the markets, so I also know a little bit about fear, greed and temptation, and riding the emotional roller coaster! I'm passionate about the Internet and its possibilities. My love affair with it began in 1994, the day a friend showed me the Yahoo! website. Ever since, I've found different ways to be involved with it and to engage in a dialogue about its role in our lives. I began as a member of the first technical support team at Excite. These days I'm the vision keeper for Tugboat Technologies, a startup specializing in security solutions and software applications to monitor against malicious content. I work with a small group of engineers who are scattered around the globe, so I know firsthand what it's like to champion a virtual company. Before I learned about the Internet, I spent 15 years developing new work with playwrights. Recently, I came across a webpage published by a theatre company with information about a piece I'd helped develop in 1986, almost 5 years before the World Wide Web came into being...confirmation that the Internet is an extraordinary resource for all sorts of information...
