Hi, and thanks for checking out my profile. My name is Carl and I've been working online since March 2004. I know what it's like to start up three websites from scratch by myself using SiteBuildIt! (SBI)

If you are working online and need help or if you're just setting up a personal website for fun, I'd like to help.

While I am not a web developer, I'd like to provide you with:

Advice and tips if you're in the process of building your site.
Advice and a critical assessment if you have your website set up but aren't happy with your results so far.
Marketing help to improve your search engine rankings and to draw visitors to your site.
Monetization ideas for your site ie. ideas on how your website can earn you money.
General advice regarding running an online business and a website(s) in particular.
An honest "lowdown" on what it's like to try to earn a living online!

What experience do I have working online?

After working for 3.5 years as a recruiter, I decided to do something completely different!

Beginning in March 2004, I helped run the day to day operations of an Internet-based company that developed and sold online software and subscription-based websites.

In this role, I gained a firsthand understanding of what it takes to operate a solid website that gets visitors, including the value of strong web copy, keyword optimization and competitive analysis.

In November 2005, I began working for myself and started up my first website. I now have three websites running.

I wrote all the copy on my sites myself and my pages are quickly becoming more and more recognized by the major search engines which means visitors to my sites are growing regularly. Give me a call and I'll try to help you out with your site(s) too!
