BERNARD M. ROTHENBERG, CPA, MBA (field) Agent and member of the IRS Review Staff, and also a former member of the Rutgers University adjunct faculty where he taught taxes and accounting in the MBA program. He continually attends “CPA Continuing Professional Education” courses and reads the most recent professional publications to keep current with the latest tax developments. He is a member of the New Jersey Society of CPAs “Cooperation with the IRS “ and “Federal Tax “ Committees. He has spoken on tax matters before professional and other groups and has had tax articles published in professional and trade journals. Bernard represents individuals and businesses in IRS examinations and collection matters (liens, levies, seizures, due process hearings and Offers-in-Compromise). He gives income and estate tax planning advice (both pre-death and post mortem). He prepares Bernard Rothenberg has been a CPA for more than thirty years. He is a former IRS complex individual and business returns. He assists in the administration of estates and trusts in regard to estate accounting and preparation of estate and trust income tax returns. In May of 1999 Bernard left as a partner in an accounting firm to open a small office. His goal is to maintain a small practice in a manner that offers services in a very personal and caring manner. He is aware that circumstances, such as death or financial reversal, may result in an unexpected tax obligation. Helping in these circumstances is an important part of his practice.
