Mike Pippin is a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist and president of Pension Service Design, Inc., Suttons Bay, MI. Mike has over fifteen years as a registered Third Party Administrator (TPA) for small group retirement plans (401k, 403b, 457, and Cafeteria Welfare Benefit Plans). A major part of Mike's work is to ensure that small businesses meet federal, state and local laws regarding retirement funds, thereby protecting the employers and their employee's retirement funds. In 1996, Mike wrote a book, "Retirement Plans: A User's Guide For Employees & Retirees," designed to help employees understand their company sponsored retirement programs, their options and the opportunities and threats offered by Social Security. Since publication of the book, Mike has become a sought-after public speaker, trainer and radio talk show guest all over the country. Mike received his Bachelor of Business Administration, cum laude, from the Fogelman Business School, University of Memphis (TN) in 1977. He received the coveted Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania in 1992.
