I am a proud owner of pit bulls. I have been raising them for about 5 years now. No, I am not a specialist or a vet, nor am I a professional trainer. What I am is a pet lover who has tried everything on earth possible that relays to dogs, especially Pits. That of course does not eliminate other breeds. I have helped many folks in my life with other breeds such as Chows, Rots, Pits, Akita, and much more.
All though I do not have a degree, I can say that after many trials and errors and 21 dogs of my own in the past five years, I have narrowed down what methods are more successful and what ones are not, any where from potty training, house training, aggressive formatting, giving birth, to behavior training, and much more.
Though I cannot sit here and say that my theories are always correct or that I can guarantee that my advice will always work. However, what I can say is from experience of what I have gone through and the experience of helping others has been a great success. I have even saved pet owners hundreds of dollars from trips to the vet. With such things as injuries, illness, etc., it could seem that you would feel as if you would need a vet. That is not always the case. Your pet may not require medical attention, and may possibly be cared for using home remedies and a lot of TLC.
I love to help other pet owners and I love to educate folks about the care and needs of their pets.
Trust me; if I do not know the answer, I put all my heart and love in finding out the answer for others. I have great connections to well known vets and trainers and breeders as well. I never encourage any pet owner to do anything that will harm their pet not that will cause great suffer in the training of their pets. But I will say that, from what I have learned in my years and shared with tons of my friends and well known breeders, I have done my research and I always give the best advice to my knowledge.
No question is silly or stupid. Any question is worth asking if there is a wonder. Like, how do I know if my dog is deathly sick or just has a virus? Maybe you have questioned yourself, why does his he always barking at every thing that comes by? Why is she so over-protective? In addition, how can I change that? Your questions and more I can answer with out spending tons of money that may result in no great out come!
Note that I try to keep this line open 24/7. Simply because, anything can happen and many of you may need an answer right away rather than the next day. Think of it as your 24/7 animal advice hot line. I am always here for you!
Do feel free to share your experience and advice as to what may or may not have worked. For we all are here to learn and learning never stops!
