Hello I started riding a motorcycle on an 88 Honda Shadow VLX600 (V Twin 4 stroke) and presently own an 89 Honda Shadow VT1100. I've been thru the MSF Basic Rider Safety Course (which I highly recommend to all first time bike riders!) and have my license to ride. I've changed a battery & cylinoid, removed rust, added a sissy bar & luggage rack, replaced my rectifier, replaced my handlebar grips, can do oil changes and changed the bike's idle rate. I've added crash bars and a windshield to my present bike. I've lubricated moving parts- clutch, and brakes. I've tested voltages from the battery with a meter. I've recently replaced my handlebars, added a gas tank bib, and had my fenders repainted.
Do you know the most common cause of Motorcycle Crashes? Do you know the different types of bikes? Do you know what you should do in preparation for a ride before turning the key?
