Hello, I'm Tony!
Italian native speaker, born and nurtured in Italy.
Are you seeking a Sincere, Compassionate Friend that will actually
listen?
Feel free to share, confess a hidden secret, I will not judge
You.
Acknowledge any emotion that needs to be expressed, we are not
perfect, and neither is the world we live in.
Conflict and uncomfortable situations are inevitable and any kind
of relationship are affected by them.
I sincerely believe our so called inadequacies are just a false
fragment of our imagination lingering, which lies dormant until a
certain topic arises that flourishes distress.
One way to achieve serenity is to replace staggered inner issues
with positive thinking.
I have a PH.D in Political Science and Italian Literature,
I can teach you the Italian Language, History, Culture, Foods,
everything you want to know about Italy.
OR if you just want to chat that's wonderful, and welcoming!
History of my Hometown
Agrigento, Greek Akragas, was founded in 581 BC in order to keep an
eye on Carthage. Judging by the large number of temples on the hill
over ten have been identified to date Carthage bore a great
deal of watching.
The Temple of Juno was built in the mid-5th century BC. Its name
dates from Roman times. It was originally dedicated to Hera, of
whom Juno is, of course, the Roman equivalent. The temple itself
belongs to the familiar hexastyle peripteros type. Its column count
is a canonical six by thirteen.
The Doric order of Greek temple architecture arose in mainland
Greece in the 7th century BC. Its form is based on earlier wood
construction. It developed on mainland Greece, Sicily, and southern
Italy, at the same time as the Ionic order in the Greek cities of
Asia Minor. The Ionic order never got a foothold in Sicily, so
classical Greek temples on that island represent a continuous
development of the Doric order.
The other temple, called Temple of Concordia, is the most famous
all over the world.
