Why Psychic Predictions Sometimes Don’t Come True.
Most everyone who has gone to a psychic has had situations where a prediction is given that doesn’t unfold in the time-frame predicted. Why is that? Well, the answer is two fold. First, there is something called FREE CHOICE. A psychic can only see a window into the future from the day they do the reading. Anywhere along the way you may make a choice that changes your path; therefore that changes the outcome. You may think the psychic SHOULD know if you are going to change your mind and go in a different direction but that would fall under ‘destiny’ rather than ‘free choice’. That being said, I, for one, can generally pick up when someone is at a crossroads or is indecisive about something or if a change of heart is coming, but free choice is just that - FREE CHOICE. IF a psychic predicts it, then can it be considered free choice?

Now, lets look at a situation that many of you have experienced where a psychic gives you a prediction and it does not come true. You may wonder why that happens and is it a bad psychic reading? More often than it being a problem with your psychic it is usually that along the way you made choices that changed the outcome. So, it is important to factor that into things. FREE CHOICE is just that. Free choice. Without that, you wouldn't be free to make the choices and mistakes that you often make. The way we all learn and grow is through our choices. LEARN FROM YOUR choices, good, bad or indifferent; because there are really no mistakes; just detours. But, in the end, if a psychic is good at reading outcomes as I am, they should still be able to predict the end result; even if there are several twists long the way. I remember doing a reading for a regular client who asked me about her daughter. I saw a very bright future for her daughter including becoming a doctor and having a happy married life. At that time her daughter wanted to be a model and had no interest in the medical profession. In her teen years this young woman made some choices and got into trouble as she pursued her career as a model. For a few years she went off course. I held firm in my predictions although my client just couldn’t see it. She was sure her daughter was going to ruin her life. But fortunately she didn’t. Eventually she get back on course. Her daughter got sick and she met a great doctor who tremendously influenced her. They didn’t become romantically involved but they became good friends. She eventually went to med school met a handsome young doctor and they now have 3 young children and are living her dream life! So, the moral is - give the predictions time to unfold. I personally read outcomes. There may be several twists and turns while getting to the outcome.. and sometimes my clients are so sure I am wrong, but inevitably it plays out as predicted. So, when you get a prediction, regardless of time-frames given, the first thing is to wait it out. Give it some extra time since time is very hard for most psychics to predict.

Secondly, if you are NOT ready for a situation to play out - then there very likely WILL be delays. The Universe will UNFOLD for you with your best interests at heart. That isn’t always what YOU want - when you want it. That is often the most difficult thing to understand when life doesn’t unfold as you want it or as it has been predicted. People often KEEP things just out of their range; the very things they most desire because they are not ready. When a psychic reads your energy they can feel it and sense it but it is up to the individual to allow it into their lives. Sometimes you need to let go of something BEFORE the next door opens. Other times, the timing just isn’t right. You might need to work through some issues or get clarity on something BEFORE it comes into your life.. So, before you BLAME THE PSYCHIC for predictions that don’t seem to come true look inward and if you are honest with yourself you may see that perhaps you weren’t ready or that you are pushing it away. That can turn out to be the greatest GIFT in any prediction. I see this play out all the time, so be patient.

I recently heard from a client that I read for about 3 years ago. At that time I predicted a total change in her career and that she would meet a man through this new career path that would be a mentor within 12-18 months. The reason this client called was about 8 months ago she made a career change. She has now met a man she is dating who is starting to mentor her so she called me to see if he was the man I predicted for her. So, the prediction DID come true in it’s own time-frame. Just allow it! The bottom line is, allow some time for the predictions to play out. In the end, if the psychic is generally accurate then the predictions will unfold, if given time!

I agree with you 110%  A few examples, I once spoke to a psychic about a Guy I was seeing and she started telling me about some other Guy that was not in my life at that time.  I was so upset because it was not what I wanted to hear but a year later I met and dated the Guy she talked about.  Also, a very successful publisher that also specializes in soul mates, mentioned that before she found her soul mate, she spoke to a psychic and was that told her that love was not in her cards and another told her that she will marry her soul mate and work with him. Because she didn't hear what she wanted, she created a wish list for love and a few years later she met/married her soul mate and they work together.  As she tells the story she makes it seems as if one has to take it in their own hands without psychic predictions but I felt that her psychic's were correct, they saw the outcome, and she wanted her present circumstances.  So the bottom line is patience ;)

This was helpful.  I received a prediction from a psychic about being in a relationship with a specific person.  The next visit had a different prediction, I guess time passed and choices were made and the relationship was no longer an option because, "something went wrong".  Was this "something" free choice and is my destiny delayed now?  Being patient!

Great post.  I have gone to several psyschics in the last year and one thing that came up has perplexed me quite a bit.  About 6 months ago, I went to 3 different psychics in a months time and all 3 said that my boyfriend and I were set on the marriage path (they didn't say it would be soon, which I'm ok with as long as I know things are going in a good direction).  Then about 2 months ago I spoke with 2 different psychics over a month period and one of them said they didn't think my boyfriend was the one for me and the other said they thought it was highly unlikely that we would end up together.  I very much want us to stay together and not just because we're fighting for our love but I want us to want to be together and to be happy together (which we are now), so the last couple of psychic readings really weigh on my heart.  All of the psychics I have seen, I believe to be good valid psychics, so it makes it even harder to think their predictions will be false.  The only exception is the very last psychic, the one who said it would be highly unlikely, and the only reason I question his words is because I called him on a day that I had a major panic attack and I was very upset about my boyfriend situation.  Does anyone have some thoughts for me that might be helpful?

a psychic predicted I was going to be in an abusive relationship:'(..... I now think I know who that guy is. this psychic of mine has been accurate before in other things so I am scared. I don't want to be in an abusive relationship. why is this happening to me? can I do something to not go through that? is it my karma for making fun of women in abusive relationships in the past? what can I do to avoid his prediction from coming true?

This blog is really good, I found it interesting! But see.. I have a friend at school who was diagnosed psychic at a young age by another psychic. She did me a favor and mediated for me and then she got a vision. She met my uncle, who she has never ever ever seen before, yet he would not show his face. Though she described his features almost perfectly. In the vision, she saw me dating someone that I really like, but then married to someone else, (or atleast someone who looks different in her vision) but the vision said that I would date this kid.. and then the very next day we got into a huge fight. I don't know if this was just a step towards it, or if she was wrong. Any idea?

O.k I understand where you are coming from, but in my case I had gone to see a psychic 3 years ago, when she said to me that I would have another child, at that stage I was adamant that there would be no more children, she insists that within 3 to 4 years I would change my mind and I would have a son.. During 2012 September I started getting clucky and. Started wanting another child..now last year 2012 November I went to see a totally different psychic and she said that my son is waiting for me to make the decision to have him or not...if I decided ti fall pregnant it would happen quite quickly, which it did..and then just before I had me 20 week scan another psychic which has been giving readings for over 30 years said boy as well....now please.tell me how 3 psychics can tell me my next child will be a boy when my ultrasound scan said girl...and I was shown a dream/vision of my daughter....how can they all be wrong...

Some psychic predictions do come true but, I've decided, others just don't.
I've waited and waited so long for some to come true that I've stopped believing.  It's hard to keep your belief up when the years drag on by and what's been predicted just doesn't happen so I've decided that I have to accept that they do occasionally get things wrong.

Today i contacted a physic and asked should i give up on my ex fiance whom i was with for 3 & a half years. The answer was no keep fighting all thar good stuff she predicted things will be how i wanted it in 3 month. Right before hanging up she asked was i pregnant i said i dont believe so ( i had sexual intercourse yesterday with my ex) then she said within 2 months i will find out im pregnant.

I often hear of people asking pyschic when will they get pregnant, but in my case all i asked was should i give up and got a huge surprise its my first time.ever speaking to one. Im curious how she could predict that.

I'm glad I ran into this blog.  I had called many psychics throughout this year.  The majority told me that I would meet a new guy with long-term potential this year.  Most said in the Summer months, while others said in the Fall months.  Out of the many that I called, Lady Fontaine (who wrote this blog entry) did not get my hopes up high about meeting him this year.  I thought she may have been wrong, but now that this year is almost over, it's fair to say she was right.  What I've learned about this unfortunate experience is to not call so many psychics.  Instead, stick to 2-3 at the most that you are comfortable with and periodically check in with them.  I was told by a psychic that it's possible that I hurt some things in my life to manifest with the many psychic energies that were clocking my "third eye".  She suggested that I start meditating, which is what I am now doing.
