was reminded today that too often people believe they have to be
perfect in all ways to have Father God in their lives…..and it saddened
my that sometimes traditional religious churches make others feel this
way when they are trying so hard to have a personal relationship with
me tell you something my mother told me a long time ago that -each man
must work out his own salvation with the Lord-….I cannot tell you what
that is, church cannot definitively tell you what that is, only you and
Father God can work that out with each other….and what works for me, may
not work for you….so today if you are struggling with trying to be
perfect so He will love you and stand by you then STOP and just talk to
Father God as if he were a friend you were having coffee with at
Starbucks or at an outing….you might not SEE Him in the physical sense,
but He is there…every moment of every day of your life “HE” is
there….just like you can’t see the wind blow, but you know it’s there
because you can feel it on your face, begin to talk to Him as if he were
like the wind…..He can hear you, you can’t see Him, but if you close
your eyes and just talk to Him, you will feel a presence near you….and
no matter if you are upset, sad, angry or having a bad day, He
understands and He wants you to tell Him all of it, the good, the bad
and the ugly….only He can work it out for you….Not a church, not a
person, not anything in “THIS” world will listen like He does……So today,
find some time and just sit down as if you are in a counselors office
or sitting with a friend and tell Him “everything” and release it and
let him carry that burden for a while….Below is a prayer that has helped
me get through MANY days and I believe it will help you too….Enjoy
today’s message and Be Blessed! And remember to -enjoy the journey!
Dear Father God(or whomever you feel comfortable calling Him),
Your ways are higher than my ways(Isaiah 55:8-9)
I come to you this morning with peace in my heart and mind, knowing that you are going before me. (Isaiah 45:2)
You go before me in my workplace and with my family.
I know you are with me in my pain and in my most joyous moments.
Thank you Lord for going before me and for being present in my life.
I shall not fear because I know you are with me every step of the way.
I pray now for those who do not know your love, peace and grace.
Let my life be a living testimony that shines your light, encouraging others to embrace the love of Jesus Christ.
In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
God’s Grace, Mercy, Peace and Love be upon your days
