Sharing the wisdom and the wonder I'm blessed to receive
I've been thinking about the way in which our angels communicate with us. What's their attitude? What can the tone of the communication reveal to us about ourselves?

Are they abrupt? Are they gentle? Are the signs direct? Are you being hit over the head with the message? If it's true that angels communicate in the way that best fits us, is there an extra message for us in their tone? Could something sync up with possible patterns in our lives?

For example, if the message we receive has an abrupt nature, can we then review our past and see life-changing moments which happened abruptly? If so, what does it tell us? Does that show a need that we have for suddenness or surprise? And, if a need indicates a lack, does it tell us something about our relationship to slowness or patience? And, can we benefit from examining how things motivate us? When I think of abrupt or sudden lightning bolt messages, Archangel Gabriel comes to mind.

What if the communication has a gentle tone? Do we have a need to receive news gently for the message to get through to us? May it suggest something to us about our relationship to harshness -- could there be an underlying harshness that's been part of our lives and should we examine its effect on us? Could that tell us that we may have a hard shell with a gooey center? When I think of gentle messages, Archangel Raphael comes to mind.

If the message is direct and sort of "just the facts, jack," does that indicate our need for directness? May that reveal something about the presence of vagueness in our lives. May we then discover some significance in the mists or patterns of uncertainty in our lives? And from that, can we feel bolstered by our ability to fly blind and land safely, despite how bumpy the ride? When I think of direct, matter-of-fact messages, Archangel Uriel comes to mind.

What about those messages that are very in-your face, that can feel like we've been smacked in the head with a frying pan? I was told about one of those by someone very near and dear to me. This person is an alcoholic. He has been sober for years and continues to go to AA meetings regularly. But, one particular evening, for whatever reason, he decided to skip a meeting. So, instead, he stayed home and ended up watching a movie about a drug dealer. As he was watching the movie and the characters in the film were boozing it up and getting wasted, he started to question whether or not he had made the right choice that evening. About seven minutes after having that thought, his TV suddenly caught fire! You can bet, he took that as a sign from above! Knowing him as well as I do, I can tell you that this is a man who has quite a pattern of taking things to the limit and being extreme in his life. When he told me that story, I felt that it was Archangel Michael looking out for him and had answered his question in a way that would leave no doubt in his mind and encourage him to stay on track and make the best choices for himself.

I don't have all the answers to the questions I've posed in this post. And, I can't say that what rings true to me will have the same resonance for everyone. I still have much to learn about angels and their nature. But, I do hope that by sharing these thoughts that I've at least given some tasty food for thought.

I am so happy to be able to offer a variety of readings to my clients. To those who would like to book a reading with me, here are some helpful tips so that you can get the type of reading you're looking for.

On Keen I offer Tarot Readings and Combination Tarot and Oracle Readings.

For a Tarot Reading the link is http://www.keen.com/details/Tarotdactyl/Tarot-Readers/10810317

For a Combination Tarot and Oracle Card Reading the link is http://www.keen.com/details/Tarotdactyl/Otherworld-Connections/10876316

So those are the formats of the readings I offer. Now let's talk a little about content. It's really important that you have in mind what you want to find out about through your reading. Many people just want a general reading so they can see "what comes up." I'm happy to do a general reading and often when I do really important and specific messages come through. It is best, though, to at least give me a general topic like finances, career, or love life for your general reading.

However, the thing you should know about Tarot is that the more specific your question is, the more specific your answer will be. So much of what happens in a Tarot reading has to do with the question that is asked and how it is asked. That is one of the reasons that I fell in love with Tarot. I could ask a specific question and get a specific answer! To me, that's when Tarot is at its best. When someone asks me a flat yes or no question, I prefer to use my crystal pendulum for their answer because, to me, it's the best tool for those types of questions. The Tarot likes to delve deeper into the question and tell you about the energies that surround a situation rather than just give you a yay or nay. So rather than booking a reading and then asking "Is ____ going to happen," ask "What if ____ happens, or What can I expect from _______?" Those are just examples of course. I do have a few clients who love to brainstorm during their readings about projects they are working on. I'm amazed at the truly wonderful ideas that a Tarot reading can provide when used in this manner. I've helped clients come up with ideas for creative projects like movies and books as well as fresh ideas for automotive and design projects!

But, probably more than anything else, I'm asked to do readings on someone's love life. Now, personally, I am a romantic at heart. And I love to help people in that department. In fact, I have two specific decks I use for relationship readings -- The Goddess Tarot and The Romance Angels Oracle - they have been fantastically accurate for these types of readings. But, I have to say, if you are in a relationship with someone and you are not certain as to where things stand, the very first thing you should do BEFORE getting a Tarot reading is TALK TO YOUR PARTNER! Honestly, I can't say it enough. Without fail, if someone books a reading with me and asks me about their relationship with someone and they haven't been communicating with that person -- the very first thing that comes up in the cards is "Communication". So save your money and sit down and talk first. Then, if you still have questions, book a reading.

Also... this can't be said enough either -- that if you are worried about a health or legal issue, the first person you should be booking time with is the appropriate licensed professional.

Okay, I'm getting off my soapbox now. I hope I've given you enough helpful tips so that you can get the kind of reading that you will get the most out of.

I have a message to share with you today from the Crystal Kingdom:

"A feeling is only a feeling while it is felt and experienced, once it is recognized in the mind it is a thought." - Moonstone, The Liquid Crystal Oracle

I wish you Love, Light, Peace and Healing.

If you're feeling a little blah, your aura may need a little clearing.

No worries, it's easy to do and you can do it yourself.

I like to do this before I do a reading for someone. It's a little trick I picked up while studying energy work. It involves deep breathing and using intention. The counts for the deep breathing in the exercise are ideal, but do it for as long as you feel comfortable if it feels too long.

Here's the quick and easy technique:

This involves Breathing through your nose. Repeat the 6 steps below 3 to 4 times holding the intention in your mind of clearing your energy body which surrounds you. Some people find it helpful to imagine themselves bathed in white light while doing this.
1. Take an 8-count breath through your nose while gently closing off your Left nostril with your Left Thumb.
2. Close off your other nostril with the index finger on your Left hand and hold your breath to a count of 6 (less than 6 is fine if you feel uncomfortable).
3. Release your thumb and breathe out your Left nostril to a count of 8.
4. Switch hands and Take an 8-count breath through your nose while gently closing off your Right nostril with your Right Thumb.
5. Close off your other nostril with the index finger on your Right hand and hold your breath to a count of 6 (less than 6 is fine if you feel uncomfortable).
6. Release your thumb and breathe out your Right nostril to a count of 8.

That's it.

Notice how you feel. Now, isn't that refreshing?

Love, Light, and Peace!
