Someone having relationship troubles may ask, \u201cDoes my significant other love me?\u201d The answer might be \u201cyes,\u201d but that doesn\u2019t help the person understand why the relationship is failing. It doesn\u2019t get to the root of the problem, which might be that their partner is scared of committing or, despite loving them, doesn\u2019t feel they should be together for some other reason.\u00a0<\/p>\n

James makes it a point to help his clients redirect their questions so they can get the answers they\u2019re looking for. Regarding the previous example, James suggests alternative questions such as, \u201cWho am I meant to be with?\u201d or \u201cWhat is holding my partner back and how can I better communicate with them?\u201d James says his clients get clearer answers<\/a> and leave a reading more satisfied when they\u2019re able to focus on \u201cbigger picture questions\u201d because \u201clife is complex and the most helpful answers are more elaborate than a simple yes or no.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Questions for a Better Life\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

James is a firm believer that, to live a happy, fulfilled life, we must focus on finding our optimum trajectory\u2014which consists of three components: location, vocation, and mate. If your intent is to gain the knowledge necessary to live your best life, James suggests asking some of the following questions during your reading:\u00a0<\/p>\n

1. What is my intended path in life?\u00a0<\/p>\n

2. Who is my ideal mate<\/a>?\u00a0<\/p>\n

3. How can I optimize my productivity and happiness<\/a>?\u00a0<\/p>\n

4. How can I have a more positive impact on the world?\u00a0<\/p>\n

These questions concern the entire landscape of your own life instead of your fears or concerns about someone else\u2019s, over which you have no control. In our culture, it\u2019s very easy to get caught up in the drama of people’s lives. Our attention is focused outward and we rarely take any time to look inward. James believes we can all benefit from taking some time each day to meditate and listen to our inner voice to guide us<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

James offers this final insight: \u201cVery few people develop their own intuitions, but that is one of the most powerful ways to get in tune with yourself. When you meditate, you connect with your subconscious, which is always trying to guide you toward your higher self. If you have faith that there is a plan for your life, you must learn to ask the questions that will help you find your higher purpose.\u201d<\/p>\n
