Handmaiden of Tarot

I was 7 when I realized I didn’t experience the world like everyone else. Emotions had colours and textures. By eleven, people in my town were already coming to me for advice. Lunch hour at school were when I did most of my readings with a deck of playing cards. They’d ask about love, decisions, or why something felt off. I didn’t think of it as being psychic. It was just a funny coincidence to me that anything made sense.

Then I learned about my lineage. My family's history of cunning women and hedge witches runs parallel to our family tree dating to the Roman invasion of Briton. Traditions that I believed were games were actually ancestral spells passed down generation to generation.

As I got older, I learned how to make that sensitivity stronger and steadier. I studied tarot, meditation, and energy work. I wanted to understand what I was tuning into and how to give people language for what they already sensed. By twenty, I was reading internationally. I never pushed for it. People always found me when they needed what I had to offer.

Now, after years of doing this work, I see intuition as both a skill and a form of care. Tarot became the bridge between what I feel and what others need to understand. My readings are calm and direct. I don’t chase outcomes. I look for clarity, patterns, and turning points.
