3. Be honest in your questions. If you have a person you want to know about romantically or otherwise, be specific.

4. Be in an emotional place where you can gain understanding about yourself and others.

5. Listen to what is being said. Learn active listening skills. Don't formulate the next question while getting the answer. You'll miss the answer.
