Hey ya'll, I'm Amara. Welcome to my little spot on this quiet corner of the internet, where all are welcome to pull up a chair, and make yourself at home.
I've been reading tarot for over a decade now, and have a close relationship with my cards. I'd love to make all sorts of flowery claims and promises, but I keep it real. I'm the friend that keeps a Tarot deck in her purse and pulls it out late at night, sitting around my kitchen table, coming up with a plan of attack for your future, or offering insight into your past and present. I'm extremely empathic, generous, and deeply care about people. My intuitive nature and trust in the divination and guidance that Tarot has to offer has helped me immensely ever since I did my first reading.
I use readings for my own insight into my life, and also to help guide others along their paths as well. I'm pragmatic and optimistic, and think that everything has a silver lining if we know where to look.
I joke that I'm the "blue collar" tarot reader. I'm approachable, down to earth, warm, and humble. I’m the quintessential “mom” friend. I’m LGBTQIA+ friendly and welcoming! My Approach To Topics
I have an unconventional approach to Tarot- I believe the future isn’t set in stone and that fact is a beautiful thing. What a gift to have free will!
Tarot is a tool (and a darn good one) that guides us, or lets us know what might be. It's up to us to harness these ideas shown to us and combine that with our free will to create a path for ourselves through our precious life. I truly believe it is a gift to have this tool at our disposal, and I am always remarkably humbled when people trust me with their questions and let me help them.
I am kind and loving, but I also feel that in order to be our best selves and live our best lives, sometimes we have to hear things we don't want to. Sometimes what is best for us in the future, doesn't feel like whats best for us in the present. Sometimes a gentle nudge is all that we need, but sometimes we need a push. I know from first hand experience that a tarot reading may not always tell me what I want to hear, but it is always what I need to hear. Whatever the outcome, I will be here to hold your hand, and come from a place free of judgement, so that we can work it out together.
In order for me to give the best reading I can, I need you to be open and honest with yourself and your question-I ask that you center yourself and put away defensive feelings and fear, and approach your questions or problems with an open heart. When you come to me, you are coming to a friend.
I read for YOU, not for other people. This is my specific approach- especially when it comes to matters that involve other people. An example of this is if you ask: “does he love me?”- my cards might decide to show me all of the reasons why you are worthy of love instead of a solid yes or no. Or the cards might get a bit of an attitude and tell you more about where you should focus. I read it like I see it, and I’ve found that what may not make sense in the moment always does in the long run. I’ve had many people tell me weeks or months down the line that my intuition and reading was spot on.
If I have to ask for clarification to get a better feeling for how to read a spread, or to get a bigger picture- I will. I feel like seeking clarification, and having a dialogue with each other while I read opens more doors. I'm here to help and share what I have been told by others is an incredible gift, and I’m really looking forward to sharing it with you, too.
