With Valentine’s Day approaching, love comes to mind. There are many kinds of love, the love we feel for our children, our partners/spouse/lover, our pets, our friends, our parents, all the people in our lives. However, the most important love to attend to, and often the least nurtured, is self-love. Self-love does not mean vanity or arrogance, but a healthy self-respect for yourself, where you value and cherish yourself. You treat yourself with kindness, compassion, gentleness and look after your needs.
When you are in this high vibration of self-love you can radiate a very positive and high-frequency vibe to others that will heal the planet and improve your relationships. There is an invisible life force that everything is made out of, scientists have found this energy at the core of every atom. This energy is the vibration that is in all of us and the Earth.
Every time we take and do not give back, we are lowering the vibration of the Earth. Every time you lift yourself to the more pure positive emotions that emit a higher vibration like gratitude, appreciation, joy and self-love and love for others, you are sending out a healing vibration of love to the planet. That healing vibration of love heals the Earth because it completes the energy exchange we have with the Earth and raises the health of the planet. Each one of us are here to raise the vibrational frequency of the planet. The easiest way to do this is self-love. Self-love can mean many things to many different people. The key is to find what works for your for self-love.
Everyone has different needs and different hobbies and ways they like to spend time. Self-love is really being present with yourself and attuning to your body and your needs. Next time you feel upset, ask yourself what you can do to make yourself feel better. That is one very easy way to help yourself start practicing more self-love. Self-love can be setting boundaries on your time, money, resources. Saying no when you don’t want to do something or go somewhere. I have learned a lot about self-love from the book You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay. There are many wonderful books to look into about self-love.
When we can love and approve of ourselves will have a positive impact on how we treat others. We will be kinder and more patient and, by our example of self-love, we will show others that they have the right and the freedom to love themselves. Self-love is a gift we can give ourselves in this very moment, regardless of how much or how little we have. It’s time to give ourselves a hug and tell ourselves, “I love you, I really love you!”
Self-love is the way to raise the vibrational frequency of the planet and, most importantly, to heal ourselves. Love yourself today and pass it on.
